Cute restaurant near Bad Tölz with a lovely shaded beer garden and plenty of indoor seating. They serve excellent regional cuisine with real attention to detail.
The ox goulash was melt-in-the-mouth tender, with a rich, flavorful sauce that paired perfectly with the handmade Spätzle. The burger was juicy, cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the fries were to die for - super crispy and well seasoned.
Service is very friendly and accommodating, though the kitchen can be a bit slow (around 30 minutes for food), but honestly, it’s worth the wait. Prices are on the higher side considering the somewhat remote location and simple dining atmosphere, but the quality and taste of the food more than make up for it.
