The dining room has a cozy, traditional atmosphere, while the outdoor seating provides lovely views of the surrounding nature—perfect for a relaxed meal by the water. We visited on a weekday at 1 pm as a walk-in. The food was tasty and well-prepared, but it takes time to cook, so the service feels slow. That said, the outcome was worth both the price and the wait. Since we were on vacation, self-driving, and not in a rush, it turned into a relaxing and enjoyable lunch experience. 🧭 Tip: If the weather’s nice, opt for a table outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and scenic views. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.

Villa Schupfen is a good place for a few things, lunch, dinner, snacks, seminar roons, events and what-can, service is excellence pur sang and the place gives a romantic vibe yet still for the whole family. You can arrive via canoe, or by foot or by car or by bike in anyways no disappointed client .

Loved the food and the super friendly and efficient service. Great view on the river Rhine as well.

A beautifully picturesque setting, Gasthaus Schupfen is the perfect place to visit for dinner on the Rhine. Ample parking and a historic building is best enjoyed when the rather is good so you can walk around the grounds either before or after you eat. The restaurant itself presents as a beautifully preserved and maintained venue. I enjoyed a 4 course menu tasting menu paired with wine, along with 7 other guests for a birthday of one of our party members and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Superb service and very nice menu in a stunning settinh

Absolutely Fantastic Place. Great Views, fantastic view! The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with anything. They have a modern “barn” down at the lake, which is really beautiful, if you’re planning a larger party!

After a long hike with our baby and dog we wanted to have a drink outside on the lounge. The waitress and the waiter saw us sitting outside but never had the courtesy to attend to us. That was a great shame…

Lovely location with a great garden on the Rhine. However, food was underwhelming compare to former times. Still good but not quite excellent.
