Super friendly staff and the food is exquisite. It was slightly to chilly and we could not sit outside, but we all loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. It's classy, but also comfy. The perfect place to celebrate a birthday. 🎂🥂 Well, maybe not for kids. 😅 It's also worth to take a quick walk down to the lake. Beautiful place. 😍

Had the 4 course surprise menu and were not disappointed. I have to admit i got lured in by the Mechlin review not was positively confirmed all the way. Service was outstanding. Food was delicious with a local touch to it and the kitchen clearly knew what to do with local ingredients. Prices were okay. Including drinks we paid s little more than 200chf which is not cheap but fair for the service and the for courses.

Amazing location, garden restaurant fully under trees with view on the lake of Zug. Service is nice and efficient. You are very welcomed. Don't miss one of their fish specialities from the lake of Zug like "Felchen filet" of "Felchen im Teig" with home made chips. The young chef is doing a great job

If you're sick of Zug's astronomically high prices, then drive to Buonas and enjoy the idyllic view of the lake of Zug (only a minutes walk to the shore). The restaurant is well-known for its excellent fish cuisine (very Zug) and reasonable prices (not so Zug!). You'll be blown away by their desserts. It's simple gourmet restaurant that doesn't have a dedicated pastry chef on staff, so your jaw will drop when you order the dessert symphony: Twelve mini desserts on a plate! Their chocolate mousse is also one of the best I've eaten so far. An insider's tip: You can pre-order a foie gras variation. He became slightly famous for this, being the only chef to offer such a dish while cooking in a relatively remote area of canton Lucerne.
