If you're sick of Zug's astronomically high prices, then drive to Buonas and enjoy the idyllic view of the lake of Zug (only a minutes walk to the shore). The restaurant is well-known for its excellent fish cuisine (very Zug) and reasonable prices (not so Zug!).
You'll be blown away by their desserts. It's simple gourmet restaurant that doesn't have a dedicated pastry chef on staff, so your jaw will drop when you order the dessert symphony: Twelve mini desserts on a plate! Their chocolate mousse is also one of the best I've eaten so far.
An insider's tip: You can pre-order a foie gras variation. He became slightly famous for this, being the only chef to offer such a dish while cooking in a relatively remote area of canton Lucerne. Mention it when you make your reservation and chef Bürli will be ready for you.
