We have been there on New Year's Eve. They had a fix menu on the day and it was delicious. The service was friendly and we got everything just in time. It was a great experience.

You have to admit that the restaurant in this traditional old house with its rustic and elegant design got atmospere. Sadly this is overshadowed by this kind of affected behaviour the staff showed all the time. Which was almost annoying. We arrived on time for our reservation and had been overlooked for quite a while. When they finally greeted us we were told that we had to wait. Our table was not ready because the guests before us arrived late as well. Outrageous and absolutely unprofessional! We were on time and had been only overlooked by all the trepassing staff! After some time we were led to their balcony and offered something to drink with excuses for the delay. I only wanted some water what was my luck because the sparkling wine one of us got was later on the bill and pretty expensive as well! The food was ok. Nothing overly good! My vegetarian dish was around €19. The mains with meat were all starting at € 30. Considering taste and quantity I have to say that it is quite overpriced! And overall accompanied by patched friendliness. For us definetely the first and last time!

Service during the meal was great. But it was a little bit too much effort to find an appropriate menu And to make all the arrangements before hand. Other locations act Here way more professional. But still a clear recommendation from our side. Especially the winter garden and the Terrace are beautiful. We had a family lunch with 20 person in May’25.

Have been there twice. Exzellent dishes. For sure not cheap, but definitly worth the money. The intérieur is nice up the details. 5+ recommendation. I like the 'petit boeuf' menue, continously changing a bit special haute cuisine in contrast to classic, nevertheless exzellent, swebian dishes.

I had great food, the waiter knew English very well so we didn't have any problems and opened when most other places weren't (on a Sunday). The only problem were the flies (outside).

Gasthof Ochsen is a typical regional upper class dinery. In several guestrooms you're served all types of Maultaschen and Rostbraten. The place is historic but nicely renovated.
