"In the centre of the village you will find this charming restaurant with its comfortable dining rooms. Ralf Restel serves simple, flavoursome regional fare with international influences. Try the boiled rump of beef with herb sauce and pan-fried potatoes or the breast of corn-fed chicken with stir-fried vegetables and curry sauce. In summer the best tables are those outside on the quiet leafy terrace." - Michelin Inspector

Great food, nice staff and the toilets have been renovated so that picture is not up to date anymore. The restaurant looks traditional but the served meals are of a very high quality. I had a vegetarian dish which was awesome. My mom and her friend enjoyed their meals as well. I loved the dessert.

We stumbled on this gem of a restaurant when we booked a night at the guest house not knowing that it was part of a Michelin Star restaurant! The cruising was traditional European fare executed perfectly! And the service staff were warm and accommodating even though we didn’t speak a word of German. The 4 of us had the Beef Tenderloin, Venison Saddle, Cod with prawns and White Asparagus. The bread was served warm and the Tiramisu as dessert finished off a memorable meal. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

This hotel was pretty, the food amazing, and the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Great value for your money. The only flaw would be that this was most likely a smoking facility at some point, so there is a bit of lingering smell, but opening the windows made that go away. Our friends hosted their wedding here and it really was incredible

Amazed, amazing , almost perfect. You don't need to go in a big city to find perfection, you don't need to go to a 3 stars restaurant to find outstanding food. If you are in the Frankfurt area and can drive to this restaurant you will understand what I am saying. It's more likely closer to a “brasserie" or "Stammtish" style but the food experience is close to perfection. Nothing to add just try .

I think this is perhaps the place where I have stayed the maximum # of times in Germany. Situated right in the Middle of Miltenburg town-- a place mostly for tourist and passer by to big cities like Frankfurt, Aaschafenburg etc. A very typical German surrounding at its best.||||Pros : Superb food, specially the steak, close family hotel with family members knowing all clients in the nearby Miltenburg area and also passer by pax as they seems to repeatedly stay here. Rooms are compact in a typical German fashion, moderate charges for bed and dinner and a lovely breakfast to start the day. In the evening you are greeted by the lady of the house with open arms, enough to take off your days tiring journeys but thats the best part --- to be welcomed! And of course followed by lovely wine. What more do you want !||||Cons: This is a old hotel, ofcourse now some new rooms are added in the 2nd. floor with excellent wooden decor, they need to make space for the lift somehow otherwise it may be embarrassing when family members try to help you out. Rest nothing against.

While on a bicycle tour along the Main River, we planned to stay in Miltenberg, however it was a holiday weekend and the hotels were booked. The Tourist Information suggested this B&B in nearby Grossheubach. The lodging is nice, but the restaurant was excellent. Had a wonderful dinner there and also a delicious breakfast. The bus line to Miltenberg is right along the main street and the bus stop was very close to the Zur Krone, so we were easily able to get back and forth between Grossheubach and Miltenberg. If you stay here, be sure to walk up the 600 steps to the monastery where you get a fantastic view and there is also a restaurant there.
