Heard from a friend that this place is good & thought to give it a try . Tried the tapas of a piece of ham , egg & boiled prawns for 500-600 yen . Wow ! The ham must be of very good ham that I have never tried before . Also when I am paying for my bills , its all written in spanish & no description of what you actually ordered . So I was thinking i probably wont be back again next time & didn't ask anything . Paid & go on my way . Food is quite artistic & service was good , just that portioning is small too . Very small . Taste is just so so for me . Beef stew was a bit bland .

Edit: Had to lower the rating from 5 to 3 stars. Original review: I go there for the Y1000 lunch (+Y300 for dessert and Y200 for cafe / cafe au lait) on Saturdays and it is always great. It changes monthly but the starters change within the month. It is always seriously delicious! One of the best meals in Osaka. The last time I went I had some Txakoli wine and it felt flat. But apart from that the food and service is always amazingly good. Best value for money lunch set menu in town. I do strongly recommend it. Add on: The other day I went for dinner with a large group of friends and we brought a small cake. Each of us had food and drinks. Before the dinner started, I asked a server if it was OK to serve this cake at the end as a surprise and she said yes. I asked about 3 times if it was OK and she confirmed to which I thanked her. Then when the bill came, there was a charge of dessert of Y2000! Whereas I understand some restaurants charge of carkage, the same as with corkage for alcohol, you should inform this to the customer beforehand. No the customer to realise when the bill is brought to the table. Please do take note for the future.

I had a lunch set + a dessert for 1800 JPY. Both the bread and the main entree were mediocre at best. The bread was too dense and cold; the entree was not even properly heated. The opener soup was good but nothing special. However, the dessert Basque burnt cheesecake with ice cream was excellent. The service was attentive; and the restaurant atmosphere was quiet and cozy.

Tried to go to Etxola across the road but was reservation only, got to say Etxola smelt great from the street but it was so smokey inside(from the cooking), we would’ve come out half cured if we had managed to get a table. Never heard of adequate ventilation I guess.. This restaurant was a nice surprise, good food and wine at a reasonable lunchtime price, not the biggest of portions but it’s trying more to be a fancy French wanna be place then a down to earth Spanish mama cookery Still very recommended

Delicious food. Serving sizes are somewhat small in my opinion. But the menu is good & the wine selection is decent. Service was excellent & the restaurant staff did an amazing job when it rained & we had to relocate a group of 10 people from the tables outside into the restaurant.

ピンチョスも美味しいですが、肉のソテーが素晴らしいです。 個人的にはディナーコースの骨付き仔羊肉のソテーが絶品で大好きです。 骨付き仔羊肉のソテーは、ディナーのコースで初めて食べて美味しかったので、次に行った際にアラカルトで骨付き仔羊肉の鉄板焼を注文して食べました。 コースで食べた時は味付けが好みで、アラカルトでは大好きなレアで出されて、どちらも美味しかったです。 ランチで食べた鶏もも肉のソテーも肉の味がしっかりしていて美味しかったです。 ピンチョスに使うためか、パンは塩が控え目で、いくつでも食べられます。 ピンチョスでは、魚介類が特に美味しいです。 5月のランチのピンチョスは、ホワイトアスパラガスとトマトソース、アナゴとタルタルソースの2種類。 ディナーでは、ホタテのピンチョスを幾度も注文していただきました。 ピンチョスで見た目楽しく美味しく、肉のソテーでガッツリ食べられるランチはお得です。 夜も予算に比して満足度は120点満点だと思います。 一度、ランチで出されたスイカのガスパチョの酢が多すぎて、食事の後に喉が渇いて困ったので、ガスパチョが出た時は警戒して少しづつ飲んでいます。
