I love this part of town and it’s not too far from the King Memorial MARTA station. I finally stopped in last week for breakfast and think it’s a great value meal for the area. My skillet was delicious and I’ve had coffee here in the past. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Clean, great taste, good location. We will be back. The quest for our frequent breakfast spot is tough in this part of town, as there are a number of places that are awesome, but Gather takes the bagel! Their biscuits are great and the skillets are a light take on a usually greasy heavy entree. Super happy with Gather.

Google
The Salmon sandwich was fantastic. A nice place for a quick bite.

Google
Google calls this place Gather which was confusing as the sign on the outside says Grant Park Market. Took us 6 laps around the spot before we figured that out. Was on the cusp of 4 vs 5 stars. It was good food but not quite at the 5 star mark. Also, it was our first time coming in there, we were greeted (someone said hi) but didn’t know what to do.. do we sit ourselves? The chicken sandwich was yummy but overall messy and kind of hard to consume. Bun got soaked in the honey/hot sauce. Not faulting them for that but just noting. Fries were great! A great little cafe to go to otherwise.

Google
Nice little place inside the Grant Park Market. The market has a loyalty program and after so many dollars in purchases, you can redeem your points for a percentage off your groceries or for items on the Gather menu. You order a the counter and they bring the food out to you. I got the steak & cheese bagel with my points and also coffee, waffle and chicken sausage. All the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I’ll be heading back to try some of the lunch items.

The sandwich you see on the picture and the one you get are very different. Good taste but…

Google
Pulled pork Cuban sandwich is outrageously juicy & savory

Sasha Campbell

Google
The outside should really have a more conspicuous signage that specifies that Gather is within athe Grant Market. Aside from that, the food is delicious and the environment is welcoming. The market has many super convenient items and diversity amongst them for eaters of different lifestyles.

Yelp
This place has become my weekly and pseudo daily visit go to spot in Grant Park! Great vibes, amazing food and pretty good customer service. I really enjoyed the Claire and the Hamlet sandwiches.

Yelp
The Manz and I went to Gather for lunch this week. He suggested it, and I happily went along. The restaurant area is to the left when you enter with about five 2-seater tables and two 4-seater tables. We ordered at the counter and got comfortable. I was able to peruse a bit of the market while looking for a lunchtime libation and saw that a variety of what I consider specialty goods are available. I selected a my drink and paid for it at the front where I also picked up a Rooster cookie! I gave Gather an extra star for carrying this treat. I ordered the caprese sandwich which came with a bag of chips. The Manz ordered the fried grouper sandwich w/ fries. The caprese sandwich was messy and very tasty. I love this combination of flavors, and Gather did a good job. The Manz enjoyed his sandwich and fries and said that the serving was filling (he is a tall, big guy so this is a big compliment from him.) We were lucky to find parking in the front off of Moreland but there is a bigger lot behind the buildings. A lot of the front spaces are limited at 20 min which make for an easy pick up option. Yelp #7 2022

Yelp
A friend and I were planning to visit Oakland Cemetery (just across Memorial Drive from the café) for a scavenger hunt. We opted to meet here beforehand for lunch. We had planned to park in the cemetery's parking lot, but there was some road race which restricted access to the north side of Memorial Drive. Hence, we ended up parking on-street a block south and a few blocks over from the café. The market itself has a small lot, but it seemed mostly geared towards market patrons. I *assume* you could park there while you grabbed a meal at the café also. The lot seemed to fill up quickly, though. We met there at around 11:20 a.m. on a Sunday. you enter the market from the side doors (i.e., not those facing Memorial Drive). To your left is the café area. A line forms to order at a counter. There are menus available in a basket for you to peruse while in line. It was at this point that we discovered that breakfast was still in progress. Lunch didn't begin until noon. We opted to do the first zone of our scavenger hunt and return. We got back just after noon. Ordering was quick, though we somehow did not end up with a little metal table-# tag. One of the entrees arrived fairly quickly but mine seemed to take longer for some reason. They managed to find us even without our table # displayed. The staff seemed friendly enough. I had ordered a BLT and a side of fries. The volume of fries was larger than I expected, actually, but they were good. The BLT was fine. I found the bread a bit odd - it was not dark but tasted a bit of rye. To me, that wouldn't be the standard first choice for BLT bread, but it wasn't bad. I don't think I underwent a full conversion to being a BLT-on-rye guy, though. At the end, you bus your table and drop off plastic trays over at a station near the drink machine. Prices were fair. Overall, this is a good option if you aren't looking for a particularly heavy meal (as you might get in some of the other restaurants facing Oakland). I'd consider a follow-up visit.

Yelp
Love having this restaurant nearby. Great breakfast, great lunch - highly recommend the good AF chicken sandwich!

Yelp
I love having breakfast at this local, community-based restaurant. The food is always good and consistent. The staff is attentive, yet they give you space to enjoy your time, and he vibe is laid-back, which makes dining there enjoyable!

Yelp
Great food at high but reasonable prices. I recommend the steak wrap! It's located inside a grocery store, so you have a huge range of drink options to go with your lunch, and they also do brunch on weekends.

Laura S.

Yelp
I stopped here for lunch before going to the zoo. It was great! We had some delicious sandwiches and also had an opportunity to purchase extra snacks in the market portion. Everything was clean and the employees were friendly.

Yelp
I have come to the Grant Park Market many times and absolutely adore it. I've gotten coffee from gather a couple times but this was the first time I actually had a sit-down breakfast. It was so amazing! Everything tasted so fresh. I love the fresh tomatoes served with the skillet. I just added a dash of salt to them and ate them by themselves! I need to return for lunch immediately.

Yelp
My GF and I really enjoyed the sandwiches we had here, but you have to know how to find this place. It's inside the Market, with NO signage outside at all Parking is available but it's very tight so a full size car or long pick up would probably not fit at all. You order at the counter and clear your own tables so it's not what I call a restaurant, but service was with a smile and food was good. They also had many beers on tap and plenty of wines to enjoy. The Market is a deli and liquor store.

Yelp
Co-located with a wine shop, this cute brunch place is a great spot to grab some delicious breakfast. You order at the front and they bring it out to your tables/benches. Food was great and the service was quick.

Yelp
The food is excellent, the service is slow, and the seating is communal. I visited gather three times now for dinner and I've loved the food every time. There are light and healthy options which make me feel good about what I'm eating, but just because it's healthy doesn't mean it's not delicious! The atmosphere is just a little unusual because gather is inside a neighborhood grocery. There's a TV in the restaurant area, and there is a bar to sit at, and then there are large long tables with benches. You may have to get friendly and ask someone to shift down a seat to find a place with enough space for your party. We had to do this once when there were four of us. I've tasted the following. Grilled Caesar salad Tostones Seared scallops Shrimp stack Tuna tartare served with pita chips Loaded tater tots Creme brulee Everything has been delicious and fresh. I do wish that the service was faster, and that's the main reason why I would not choose to come here all the time. The menu is extensive and impressive and offers a lot of variety.

Yelp
Let me let yall in on a little secret. The best biscuits and gravy you will ever have. Periodt. Like. Periodt White creamy gravy with a delicious biscuit. It's not fluffy but more dense and soft and buttery on the edges. Their to go is super convenient. The inside is cute dine in option also especially if you have kids. Laid back but great quality. We love going to the park and grabbing grub here afterwards. Just convenient and not super heavy or greasy.

Joseph R.

Yelp
Located inside a grocery store called Grant Park Market (check out their page for more reviews of the restaurant), Gather is a little tucked away and passed up. Whenever I'm in the area, though, I always make an attempt to stop by and pick up food. The menu truly has something for everybody. There's never been a time that we haven't been able to find good foods for friends with dietary restrictions. No matter what, I always get a cup of tomato soup when I visit because it is SERIOUSLY the BEST and tastiest tomato soup I've ever had. The staff is also super friendly and I feel pretty "at ease" when it's busy and my social anxiety is acting up. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Went here for lunch on a Friday around 1:00 pm. It's walking distance from my office and finally decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu options, I've been trying to find a good turkey club in grant park for a while. I ordered the turkey club with no mayo and was pleasantly surprised. Decent size for the price and the sourdough bread is awesome! We only waited about 6 minutes for our food, not bad at all. Seating can be limited to be sure to go earlier during peak times to get a spot. Lines can get long but they move quickly!

Yelp
I literally walked past three or four different three star restaurants on my way to Gather. Each place had a wait, the longest of which was over an hour. At Gather? I sat right down. It's Sunday, so the craft beer was only four dollars a pint. Sure, I'll take that double IPA that is usually $7.50 for only four dollars, thank you! Did my entrée cost a little more? Maybe, but look at the high-quality ingredients. Combine that with little to no wait and attentive service? Why isn't there a line out the door? I'm tell you what, this place has a hidden gem. If you're nearby, make the trip. I guarantee you won't regret it. Oh, and if my wife had been here, we would've attacked those small plates like there was no tomorrow. this place.

Yelp
Wow, what a lovely lunch surprise! Located inside of the Grant Park Market, Gather has no exterior/building signage. However, I'm a-okay with this as hopefully, this keeps this hidden gem actually hidden just a little bit longer! Once you're inside the Market, Gather is actually quite large, taking up at least a third of the Market's interior space. They have counter seating, and several large picnic style tables inside at which to sit. Order at the counter and they'll bring your order to you when it's ready. While the space and ordering set up have more of a lunch counter feel, the decor is beautiful and light filled. It's a "fancy" lunch counter, for sure! The menu is quite large for lunchtime, and after perusing, for some time, we decided on the Reuben sandwich (paying the slight upcharge for garlic and herb fries), a cup of the broccoli cheddar bisque, and the crab louie stack. The prices are immensely reasonable considering the exceptional quality of the ingredients, the complexity of the flavors, and the beautiful presentation. I would have expected to pay much more for a lunch this delicious - I would order every dish again. The crab Louie stack was off of the "small plates" portion of the menu, but the portion size was generous. It was more than sufficient as a lunch entree, and all of the sauces and layers to the dish made it complex and special. The Reuben was also something special, with TGM bread as the base and delicious crispy sauerkraut. Even though this is a lunch counter type of environment, their service was also exceptional. They refilled our water glasses, and the cook even noticed that I was struggling to get the special hot sauce to pour easily out of the bottle on our table and gave me his own bottle from the kitchen. All in all, this was certinaly "as good as it gets" when it comes to lunch time spots!

Yelp
We have been to Gather several times and really enjoy their sandwiches! Had the tuna melt and muffuletta this time.

Yelp
Jan 1, 2022 - the online ordering and execution is flawless. In person pickup was prompt, accurate and friendly. The food was outstanding! We had the empanadas, tostones, and BLT with garlic fries. All items were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Gather.

Yelp
Participated in First Taste Friday with Yelp by trying Gather. It worked out as I had a coupon for a buy one get one entree. I ordered the Impossible burger with fries and the chicken empanadas. The burger was good. The bun was nice and the onion, roasted red peppers and avocado were excellent. The burger patty itself was different. I've had plenty of impossible burgers but this was different...perhaps it wasn't grilled so it wasn't crispy. It was good but just different. The fries were good...fresh cut type fries. I paid for the garlic aioli and the chipotle Mayo. I liked them both but a bit small for 50 cent each. The empanada though...super good. The crust was crispy. The chimichurri sauce was delicious. I want to go back tomorrow to try the beef empanada.

Yelp
Super cute area inside of the GPM. Popped in with a friend today for lunch. I had the burger which was really good. ($8.50) I added a side of garlic parsley fries ($2.50). The fries had a really good flavor but they had WAY too much of the garlic on them. I mean it was totally overpowering and hard to eat. I love garlic but I felt like in this case less is more.

Yelp
Beautiful space! We ordered The Early Bird and the The Odyssey breakfast sandwiches. With the coffee. Coffee was $2, help yourself refills, bottomless! Great deal, delicious. The Early Bird - bacon egg and cheese on your choice of bread (I chose TGM sourdough). It was good. $5.75?. The bacon was great. I couldn't taste the sourdough. Plenty of cheese and egg and it was all melty. The Odyssey. $5.75?- Scrambled egg, mushrooms, spinach and dill. We couldn't tastethe dill and it lacked flavor. Overall it's a quick and easy spot with a great aesthetic, and good food. Perfect for a lazy weekend morning, or an on the go morning before work.

Yelp
As others have documented, Gather is a hidden gem that is located in the Grant Park Market across from Oakland Cemetery. I was in the area and was planning on going to another restaurant, when I noticed many positive reviews for Gather on Yelp. Signage is minimal so I almost walked by, but I glad that I finally discovered it. The restaurant is a part of the larger market and has a bar area along with picnic tables. Our server, Eden, was pleasant and informative. One of the best parts of the visit was stumbling onto happy hour deals - small plates were 1/2 off and wines were $6. Yes please! I was having issues with my cell phone camera, so I don't have shots of our food, but we sampled the following: seared scallops - appeared to be cut in half, but prepared well and accentuated with a nice sauce; lobster risotto - really enjoyed the lobster, but would have liked a bit more flavor on the risotto; basket of fries- hot, nicely prepared and enhanced with several dips (garlic aoili, siricha aoli, and a vegan dip); shrimp stack - probably our favorite. hard to describe, but simply a tasty winner.; hamburger - good portion, cooked to temperature, with all the fixins. kids loved it! We also found the wine list to be good and indulged in $6 glasses with dinner. Sampled the Triennes rose, dry creek heritage zinfandel, and a red that I can't recall the name of. On the way out, we bought 2 bottles of the wines that we had for dinner to take home. Gather was really a pleasant surprise. I agree with others that this is a market with good quality food at reasonable prices. I'll be back soon. You should give this spot a try.

Yelp
No idea how this has 4+ stars. Service was good but half of what we ordered was disappointing. Hard pass on the veggie cold sandwich. It fell apart before I even got it to my mouth and I turned it into a salad...

Yelp
Unlike most of the other "neighborhood markets" in the Atlanta area offering food, the food here is actually good, both quality and value-for-money. The menu is kind of a mix of American food with some Argentine and Latin dishes mixed in. Breakfast is really good value-for-money -- better than a lot of sit-down restaurants -- and features tasty thick toast, flavorful potatoes, and thick bacon. I do think they have some kinks to work out. A few times I've tried to order menu items and they haven't been available. Also, when they get busy, service is sometimes hit or miss. Honestly, it appears like they are simply doing too many carry-out orders right now, which can lead to some service mishaps for those folks dining in the store. Perhaps cut back on some of the apps until additional staff are hired?

Yelp
Great local market with the best sandwiches I can find around here. Perfect for take out

Yelp
Just when I thought I had run out great places to have brunch, I find Gather. The food is amazing. The portions are hearty. And now, I definitely need a nap. I usually order two breakfast entrees everywhere to get what I really want. I am so stuffed after the grits bowl. There was really no need for the waffle, but since it's here.... Everything is delicious and I will definitely return soon.

Yelp
Wow, talk about a nice surprise! GATHER is a small restaurant located right inside the new Grant Park market across from Oakland Cemetery. The Grant Park Market anchors this new development which will have restaurants, retail, even a child care center. The best thing right now is GATHER, the restaurant inside Grand Park Market. This restaurant surprised us with the really delicious features. We purposely ordered a nice gamut of options. From the appetizers menu, we ordered the Gambas Al Ajillo (garlicky, peppery shrimp), the empanadas, and the tuna crudo. For entrees, we ordered the Good Burger, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and a couple of kids sliders. I'm both pleasantly surprised and happy to report that every single item was delicious! The service was prompt and warm. Even the executive chef stopped by and introduced herself and told us about her menu. The gambas al ajillo is the shrimp appetizer and it was really nicely seasoned and started off the meal perfectly! The tuna crudo is very refreshing and light as it should be. While the empanadas are crisp and warm on the outside and hot and moist on the inside. It comes with a chimmichuri that is really chunky and very fresh tasting. The entrees did not disappoint either as they were very good. The Good burger which is the house burger is nice and juicy and comes on TGM bread as do the other sandwiches. Very tasty! Will definitely order again. It comes with garlic and parsley fries which were very good, slightly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The Philly cheesesteak was also very tasty and they're very generous with the steak which is always appreciated. The kids had the sliders which are just as good as the grown-up burger which is usually not the case so I'm impressed by that and they also came with the chips and sparkling grape juice with the kids loved. Talk about presentation, even the sparkling grape juice was presented in this tiny little glass cups that the kids got a kick out of. From the easy to park location, the welcoming interior, the beautiful tile, only add to the wonderment of this restaurant. I highly recommend everyone to try GATHER. We are yet to get something that wasn't delicious. Please see the attached pics!

Yelp
My wife and I absolutely love this spot. It has become a regular. Amazing food (breakfast through dinner), awesome staff, and chilled out atmosphere. Not overpriced either. I recommend the breakfast sandwiches (I get them as scrambles) and the Philly cheesesteak is bomb. Solid beer selection too!

Yelp
Great impossible burger (meat like veggie burger) and well seasoned garlic fries. Great customer service. Conveniently located inside the market, so you make a one stop shop.

Patrick C.

Yelp
Wow! Just, wow! This was by far one of the best sandwiches places in the city if not THE BEST! I happened to visit Gather on a Monday for their Muffuletta Monday special. I have never had a better sandwich in my life. I didn't have to add anything to it. No condiments, no salt, nothing else was needed. Furthermore, I never knew ciabetta bread could actually be soft. I usually tear my mouth with a ciabetta bread sandwich. I will definitely come back when I can. Kudos to the chef working Monday, Jan. 27, 2020. You are an artist with a sandwich canvas.

Yelp
I always pass Gather At the market and I finally tried it!! Had the shrimp stack, tuna melt & garlic fries and it was fabulous! It was a quick- in & out; food was fresh and delicious!!! Super happy to find a new spot with fresh ingredients and a continuously changing menu with a variety of options!

Yelp
Fabulous food Nice upscale deli setting We enjoyed the Ravioli and French fries. The soup and sandwich were the best. Soup was broth based Italian meats with red pepper and white beans. We had the Californian sandwich. It was awesome. Service was excellent and friendly.

Yelp
Had been in the market quite a few times, and have been wanting to try this lovely little spot. Finally did last night. So happy we did! I had the Tuna Tataki and Brussels Sprouts. Both were really good. My daughter loved her cheese ravioli and my husband loved his Cuban sandwich. We were super impressed and excited about their daily specials. We will return for more goodness!
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I had the quinoa bowl with grilled veggies and chicken-top notch. My husband had crab louis stack and he loved it. We shared fries with our kiddos who shared the turkey club. They also have a kids menu, but we didn't order from that. Highly recommend if you are in the area! We stopped here after a morning at the Atlanta Zoo.

Yelp
Grrrreat. Great Patty melt and BLT . friendly service. Excellent to have in GP neighborhood.

Patrick R.

Yelp
The food here is always amazing. Since I live in the neighborhood, I appreciate the atmosphere and the mix of healthy and more indulgent options. My only knock on it is that service invariably takes forever for dine-in, which is a shame because it is such an attractive option for last minute weeknight dinners when things are running late. I keep hoping they'll work out the kinks with service but feel compelled to review since it is a persistent issue. The main issue seems to be people behind the counter juggling to-go orders, random stocking/cleaning duties, and serving dine-in guests. Often, you can see that your food is ready but have to wait quite a long time for a server to notice and bring it over. Really wish they would get a better system running since I love the food so much, but I hesitate to visit when I'm short on time.
google avatar

Shawn M.

Yelp
I've been eating here a couple times a week lately. Everything I have tried from the menu has been really excellent and their specials follow that trend. I should note: this is like an upscale lunch counter in the market, not a full-fledged restaurant, but you'd never know by the food. The service is great and they work hard to accommodate any dietary restrictions (my wife is a pescatarian with a dairy and egg allergy--we ordered a salmon dish and they made a custom dairy-free rosemary sauce in place of the dairy sauce that comes with it). They also care about quality: On one visit, they were training a new cook and my dish apparently did not come out to the head chef's standards so rather than send it out, she had him remake it and came out to apologize for the wait and explain that she wanted to make sure my meal was perfect. I really love this place and I honestly can't recommend it enough.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
We usually go to Gather weekly, and they are by far the most consistently good place around. Burgers, sandwiches and specials are all great. Their staff seems to really listen to feedback from customers. To make items healthier, you can replace a burger patty with a grilled chicken breast, which they cook perfectly. Also vegan friendly with their introduction of the impossible burger. Make sure to check out their specials each time, I've had some really creative dishes that were delicious.
google avatar

Ashley P.

Yelp
This place is located inside a market so you wouldn't assume that they offer the high quality food they do. the food was fresh and upscale but not expensive. there is no fancy seating or anything, the atmosphere is low key. we had the empanadas, chicken milanese sandwich and chicken tenders and all was delicious. would definitely go back!

Lady R.

Yelp
Maybe we caught them on an 'off' day, but five of us had lunch and not one meal was good. There are too many good options in the area for us to return to Gather. I had the falafel bowl. It included quinoa which was 50% raw garlic and no other seasoning, and hummus which was so salty I could not eat it. The falafel circles were like hockey pucks. The description sounded good but execution was really off. One person had the reuben and said it was fair. One person had the chicken salad sandwich and she could not eat it. One person had the roasted vegetables with grain bowl and said it was tasteless.

Laura M.

Yelp
Placed an online order for 2 which said would be ready in 15 minutes. Showed up then and waited outside, checked in as 25, 30 minutes went by, was told "we got backed up we're working on it" as 5 orders that came and ordered at the window after me got their food and left. 35 minutes later the girl came to the window and when I asked about the fountain drink I ordered, had an attitude and said it was coming. No apology. Grilled chicken sandwich doused in mayo, basic, and Californian dry/fell apart as soon as picking it up. Just a heads up on our experience, was NOT worth it. Won't be going back.

Yelp
Love having Gather right around the corner from our home! Great for a drink and some appetizers in the evening or grabbing a quick sandwich for lunch.

Liz C.

Yelp
LOVE everything I've had here. The cheesesteak is my 2nd favorite in Atlanta, 2nd only to Fred's. The quality of the food is consistent which is important to me. Awesome breakfast sandwiches and the fries with dipping sauce are bomb.
google avatar

Tara G.

Yelp
The market it's self use to be very good. They had great food already pre made in the fridge but for the past month it has been extremely bad. Hopefully they can get back to the original quality they had before.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Service! Great Food! Shared several items with a a small group of friends, no one walked away hungry. The wine was great and we were able to try some before we purchased a carafe since the wines are on tap. The Hanger Steak was the group favorite.

Yelp
We were told it would be 1 hour wait at Ria's, decide to come here instead. Great great great food. Would definitely recommend anything from the breakfast menu... and no wait!

Malik J.

Yelp
Foods fine, be prepared to be treated like an inconvenience however. Both the cooks and the cashier seemingly couldn't care less about customer service

D J.

Yelp
Fantastic little market with a great wine and beer selection. The lunch/dinner options are wonderful, too.
