Amazing food. Service was excellent. Dishes were described very well even though it was the first day of the new menu. I wish we didn't live 300 miles away or we'd be back every month. If you get chance have the apple sorbet. It's life changing. The Crab must be the best thing I've ever tasted. It was nice to see alcohol free spirits on the menu.

My husband and I have been to Gather on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is utterly delicious and is always presented beautifully. We have several dietary requirements in our family but nothing has ever been too much trouble for the chefs and we have always been well looked after. I would like to give a special mention to front of house member Poppy. She is friendly, polite, attentive and always has a smile on her face. She is also very knowledgeable on the menu and we can see how hard she works to give us a memorable evening. It's a joy to have her looking after us! Hopefully we will be visiting again soon!

Our second visit this year, and yet again an outstanding level of food and service. Each dish so well composed and wine paired with a solid level of knowledge and taste. We will be back again soon!

The attention to detail, the variety, the quality.. it was wonderful & our compliments to the chefs who you can watch performing their magic in their little kitchen. 5stars & great value, highly recommended. We had the tasting menu & the flight of wines.. each complimented to provide a taste sensation & a very special evening.

Amazing tasting menu with an incredibly well paired accompanying wine flight. Great service, never felt rushed or too formal. Very much recommended for anyone in or visiting Totnes.

What can I say except wow! Totally amazing food, balance of flavours, textures & smells, all with the use of foraged foods, we had the tasting menu both the normal menu & a the vegetable one for my wife, which were both phenomenal.... I suspect this place will be very hard to get in fairly soon, well worth the visit.... Top drawer

Gather is always our go-to for a nice celebration meal! Delicious food in an intimate setting, each dish has flavours and textures that match perfectly. The wait staff are always so informative about every dish. The vegetarian menu is just as good as the regular menu too which can be hard to find.
