Highlights

At the GTF Restaurant, we highlight fresh exquisite produce at its absolute best. The care that goes into our produce is the same care that goes into producing our menu. We prepare our menus and dishes with deep respect for the European tradition of peasant cuisine. We work with our hands. We make our own pasta. We bake our own bread. We make pates, mousses, terrines, hams, and sausages. Some items will be familiar and some will be an adventure. All dishes will be crafted thoughtfully with respect to the land and local businesses.

Where to Eat and Drink in Corvallis, Oregon - Eater Portland

"On this produce farm lies a wooden farmstand and patio surrounded by trees and shrubbery; like the food, the space feels organic. Open seasonally, Gathering Together Farm’s restaurant pulls produce from the property for lunch and dinner service, changing menus weekly; dishes range from hand-made pappardelle pasta topped with vegetable confit to coast-caught black cod with Siletz tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet onions, as well as char-dotted, wood-fired pizza. Gathering Together Farm is open for onsite dining and to-go meals, with reservations available." - Mariah Botkin, Sukhjot Sal

With COVID-19, CSAs Are Trending as Way to Shop - Eater

"Though Gathering Together, a farm in Oregon, doesn’t start its CSA until June, company marketing specialist Sarah Reffett says that they wanted to do something in the meantime to bring fresh produce to their usual customers and make up financial losses from closed farmers markets and restaurants, a major source of income." - Tove Danovich

Lunch was exactly what we needed on a cold and rainy day! First, we were welcomed by the owners and made to feel right at home. Everything is either home grown, homemade or locally sourced, (breads, pastries, soups, burgers sandwiches, salads and burritos). The food tasted fabulous and the portion sizes were huge! They also sell their own fresh produce, bakery goods and various gift items in the little farm shop. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area too. I highly recommend making a stop along their country road and paying a visit!

Google
The lunch here is second to none!! Pizza, salad and burgers is all top notch and extremely fresh. One of my favorite lunch places in Philomath, I even highlighted it on our travel page! I want to give this place 5 stars however out of 3 months being in the area it’s nearly impossible to get dinner reservations. I’m guessing that alone speaks volume for how delicious it is. Especially if it’s anything like the lunch. Furthermore when I tried to call to make dinner reservations they don’t take them. Only online in which half the time it was glitching or there wasn’t anything available for weeks. Hoping one day we can get a seat dinner and see how it compares to lunch! If you have a reservation keep it! ***updating our review from 4 stars to 5, we finally got to eat dinner here and it holds up to why it’s so exclusive! It was amazing! Highly recommend.

Google
Gathering together farm is an amazing farm to table style restaurant with a simple menu based off of what is in season. Whatever is on the menu will not disappoint you! The restaurant is only open for dinners during the warmer months of the year. I would recommend dining outside right around golden hour to experience the full atmosphere of farm country. We look forward to when it opens every year, and can’t wait to be back. Keep up the great work!

Google
Delicious and fresh food! The location is beautiful, inside and out. You can't go wrong with either indoor or outdoor seating. The service was excellent.

Google
GTF never disappoints! Fresh, local ingredients, straight from their fields, or local suppliers, artfully inspired by what's in season and prepared to perfection. There is nothing NOT to like about this charming, family run, gem... Benton county is lucky to have such a resource.

Google
We’ve bought produce from GTF for three years, always fresh, flavorful and organic. Today tried the restaurant. The delicata salad was very good (some frisée a bit bitter- but the squash off sets it). Pizza great with a bit of char. Occasional bite of salt here and there. Highly recommend!

Google
Gathering together farm is a great place to eat, and when they sell at the market they offer a wide range of lovely produce and baked goods. Lately, I've been most impressed by their bread offerings. The appearance, size and texture is wonderful. The sourdough is very soft and pillowy on the inside, crunchy and firm crust, with less of the sour flavor, if you're into that kind of thing. If you get to the market early enough the donuts of second to none, melt in your mouth kind of texture. Wash it down with some local roast coffee and you've got a real nice treat.

My partner and I really enjoyed eating here. The food was beautifully prepared and the atmosphere was peaceful & welcoming.

Yelp
What a treat! This place has amazing ambiance. Technically you are eating on a porch. But you can't really tell. The service is top notch too. The food was very good. You can tell there is quality in every bite. The only thing that stood out as a little off was the short rib dish we got. It had three ribs in it that still had the silver skin membrane on them. It was a tagine. The flavor was perfection. Reminded me of a really good beef stew. The tenderness of the short ribs was perfection. Anyone who loves a huge mouthful of fat, may like them prepared this way, however I was a little bummed that I had to remove about what ended up being about 2/3 cup of silver skin from my dish as I was eating. I can say, I was already full by the time I got my entree though. Lol The sourdough was impeccable we ate almost all of it. The crepe was divine...and extremely filling. The soup was very fresh and creamy. We saw a salad on another's table and it was huge! I love that they grow all of their vegetables. And they only source meats from reputable sustainable local farms. You can literally taste the quality. The deserts were goodish. We preferred the rhubarb cheesecake cover the tahini chocolate cake. It was light and beautiful. The chocolate cake was slightly burned and a little dry. It sort of tasted like a microwaved chocolate mug cake if I'm being completely honest. But, we were so full it didn't really matter. And it came with ice cream and that was Yummy! The table was a wood slab. It was adorned with cute flowers. They let us take some home since we were the last table of the night. Next time we will try the pizza and salads! We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
What a gem off the beaten track. We stopped here for lunch and couldn't be more pleased. Wood fired pizza was delicious. And the salads they brought out to the other tables made us grab some bags of salad to go. As well as baked goodies to go. The decor is laid back but nice, flower filled pots everywhere. Lunch is ordered inside their "farm stand" and then brought out to you. Seated was covered, on beautiful tables, lovely setting.

Yelp
My goodness, this hidden gem is such a joyous and lovely experience. The scenery is beautiful, tucked away in the green hills of Philomath. The food is so FRESH and sumptuous. The beef ribs fell off the bone. The cream puffs were delectable. Everything we tried was melt-in-your-mouth and BURSTING with flavor. Service was prompt and friendly. The servers have a passion for the farm and what it stands for. Quite a cozy and amazing spot. Counting down the days until we can return.

Yelp
Just imagine if you could walk out your front door into a farmers field and pick fresh organic grown vegetables. Well then - you may enjoy eating and dining at the farmhouse restaurant. From their kitchen, out the door into the fields, they pick bushel baskets of what's in season. Haul it to kitchen. Cook it up. Then, serve it up that evening. We took a table by the window and feasted on Marinara Pork Ragu with farm fresh veggies and wood fired pizza. You must try the woodfired pizza as scrumptious as any James Beard award winning pie maker. I can think of a few we tried in Portland, like Ken's and Oven & Shaker. The pie, no lie is to die for! Put me in a burlap sack 4 feet under an Oak tree - I'd be "RIP" happily. What a meal! One of the healthiest! One of the tastiest! One of the freshest! One of the best-est! And you are supporting a local farmer who cares for the land, who cares for what he grows on the land, and who works hard to provide us farm fresh delicious. That's what I'm talking about! So cool to dine at a farm house. Excellent servers and an awesome kitchen staff. Wood fired oven chef. You go Farmer John!

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant, not the store. The farm-to-table concept is executed here with great skill. The menu is well-thought out without straining to be "inventive." It's just great food put together elegantly. The dining room reminded us of some if our favorite spots: Cold Spring Tavern in Santa Barbara, and Deetjen's in Big Sur, being unpretentious, warm, and cozy. Service was excellent, the restaurant requires reservations for dinner so that it remains excellent. Two servers handled everything effortlessly as a result. We're so happy we learned about this place, it is a high point of our visit to Corvallis.

Yelp
Absolutely awesome spot, went there for a date night. Staff and ambiance were top notch. Split a fresh made pizza and salad as well as a bottle of wine. Deserts were fantastic as well! Will definitely be returning in the near future. Some items are pricey, but well worth the money for the quality ingredients and delicious food.

Yelp
I brought my Mom back again a year a a half later and GTF was even better than we had remembered! I had the Bianca stone oven pizza, my Mom had the Spinach and Apple Soup and Cod sandwich. Everything was Absolutely Perfect! The service was Superb! The Atmosphere is Comfortable & Chaming! Then there is the Farm Shop with fresh produce and fresh made Bread & Bakery Goods! It is definitely worth a visit. Trust me! I live in Sarasota Florida and I know really good food whenever I try it. This place is it!!!!

Yelp
Love eating a restaurant that grows its own food and/or gets it from local farms. Ordered the cheeseburger. Best cheeseburger I probably have ever had. 20 stars. Also ordered the pickled items for an appetizer - yummmmmm!! The potato cauliflower soup was also a winner. Not a drop left. Will go back to this place as often as possible. Thank you.

E. L.

Yelp
The good: Cute place with friendly and well-paced service, The bread was awesome. The Not So Good- Their $8-11 'glass of wine' looks to be about 4 ounces! I could see people at other tables looking at it like it was a taster. haha. At our table, we had a squash and chevre dip- it was ok. I think spinach vs. squash would have been a better choice. We also had ling cod cakes/potatoes which were fine as well (for 32.00!). Definitely nothing special. We also had a pasta with cauliflower cream and kale. The kale needed to be chopped- the leaves were huge. Again, it was fine- not particularly tasty, but not bad, but for 26.00, I expected to have something tasty, not just filling. The only vegan options were two salads which seems odd for a 'farm'. We had a 7:45 reservation. We were hot by the end with the pizza oven in the small dining area. Would we go again? Hmmmm. Maybe to try the pizza if we had guests from out of town since reviews here say those are consistently good. Maybe they just need to stick with Pizzas and Salads?

Yelp
Great if you aren't pinching Pennie's Get setting and charming eating atmosphere Dogs okay outside only at picnic tables

Minnie F.

Yelp
Get there early if you want the pizza! We missed it by 10 minutes and they said they go fast. We tried the cheeseburger, grilled cheese and pickle plate. It was the best grilled cheese I've ever had. We ended up buying a container of the fermented cucumbers and dilly beans. Great little farm stand and fresh pastries too. The potato donuts were very good as well. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Such a gem! A great date spot I had the short ribs and they where so tender and the pizza is delish. Everything is farm to table and its all so fresh. Dinner here was such a unique and fun experience and our waitress was so friendly.

Yelp
Great bakery. Organic produce available for purchase. I have yet to try the restaurant but have only heard good things.

Yelp
It was delicious, very fresh food. The service was great the ladies were so nice and helpful. Great atmosphere, with the clear roof and natural lighting. Best grilled cheese and You have to try the Chill Pickles best pickles EVER! Highly recommended.

Yelp
Charming location. Attentive service. Delicious food. We'll be back! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I have been here 2 times . I was hoping that service would improve, but it didn't. The wait for food to be prepared is way too long. Expect to wait 45-60 minutes for your order to arrive. Also I am not sure if they have a trained chef cooking up the food. It is okay at best. I would expect more from a restaurant that claims everything is sourced locally. I wish i could recommend this establishment but I can not.

Yelp
Wow! We ate here tonight and it was one of the better restaurant meals we have had in a long time. Everything was so fresh, from the salads to the veggies in our entrees. We had halibut, a delicata squash risotto, and an arugula pizza from the wood-fired oven. So many complex flavors in the halibut and risotto dishes, and the pizza was cooked to perfection. And at the end, even though we were stuffed, we had some pumpkin spice cake, which was also excellent. All of this in a homey, welcoming environment in an enclosed deck with the heat of the wood-fired oven and a few heaters making it a comfortable setting. This was the first time we have eaten here since pre-pandemic days and the upgrades sure show. It's been a while since I ate in a restaurant and wanted to come back before I even left. Bravo!

Yelp
All these years I've been going back and forth to the central coast from Portland and never coming here in-between. I wasted so many opportunities!!! I used to think it was far from the highway but come to find out it's maybe 5 minutes off the road. The short drive though is enough to make you think you are away from the traffic and out in the country. After you arrive you also feel the same way because the house is super homey and funky. Those are some of my favorite kinds of places. We decided to have ourselves some breakfast before we continued on our journey. Lots of wonderful homemade choices with an extremely helpful and knowledgeable server. Feels like family in there. Once I ordered I decided to have a look around. They've got a bakery with homemade potato donuts.. O.M.G. why did I look around!! Got a dozen since I was heading into town to visit someone in the hospital. I had to get one for me too though, well because, it's a sample! They also have homemade canned pickles, sausages, meats, veggies etc. from their farm of course. The breakfast was just divine and so was the coffee. There's a fireplace (pizza)that's a masterpiece in itself as well as the other decor that's homey, folky and just warm. We won't be passing this place up any longer. Their hours do change though depending on the time of year so make sure you call to verify.

Yelp
There aren't many places I recommend this much. The farm produce is incredible. The prepared food is so good when you can get a table! Long live gathering together

Yelp
Outstanding wood fired pizza in a beautiful rustic space. Worth a trip to Philomath just for this experience. Which is good, 'cause there's not all that much in Philomath! Although I do recommend the Benton Co Historical Society Museum too. But not to eat at. :^)

Yelp
Has GTF been resting on its laurels?      Lunch, on a Friday in May, we are seated as a party of two immediately.  Drinks served order taken under 5 min. and the house is packed.      The server Autumn, is pleasant, personable and efficient. We were served within 15 min of our order. The pizza oven in view is in use. The menu is diverse. We enjoyed Small plates, snapped pea, cucumbers with chervil, and pistachio salad, roasted carrot dip (gluten free option served with sliced snap peas and cucumbers instead of bread)...Sandwich, ordered a pastrami, of course. Usually we are happy with the selection, this time is no acception. The pastries were sold out, but we did come in half hour before lunch closed. Oh well, next time, love the potato donuts, scrumptious! Everthing was great but I felt the roasted carrot dip with chervil was exceptional. To answe my question, are they resting on their laurels, No. The menu is vibrant and relevant, and still delicious. Check the hours for service, they are not open for each meal everyday.

Such a great little spot. Looking forward to many lunches here. We all had such a good time here.

Yelp
We came in when they weren't serving food, just farm to market things but they helped us put together a yummy lunch Wonderful bread that they sliced for us, spreads and salads. PERFECT. Pottery plates and real silverware. Thank youThank you so much

Yelp
The good: excellent pizza! Authentic crust perfectly cooked with bountiful toppings. The bad: ribeye steak Was as tough as shoe leather... For almost $30... Really disappointing. I'd be surprised if the eight dollar glass of local wine was more than a 4 ounce pour...Bit of a rip off. The ugly: finding a human hair buried in the vegetable medley was way off putting... At first I thought it was a corn silk remnant ... But upon closer inspection my dinner mates confirmed it was not a vegetarian option! An example of A farm tying to increase income by entering a business with little or no understanding of food preparation... Trying to maximize profit by ripping off a public which try to support local organic businesses. Sad.

Steve G.

Yelp
It's a special treat when we get to go to GTF. The perfect occasion arose last week and we made reservations for 4. Service is always cheerful and the place hums with a good vibe. We ordered chicken, pasta, pizza and Cioppino and bread. The bread is awesome! We had Boston cake for dessert. How was it? Pizza and pasta were great. The chicken, while flavorful, was dry. The Cioppino was a light broth with paltry accompaniment of seafood. Not what you would expect. The cake as also flavorful, but dry.

Yelp
I love getting all of the year round CSAs and we order all the additional options: 2 pizzas, salsas, soup, bread, eggs....I would highly recommend it! Fresh. Amazing taste. It is the one sure way we eat in season and get the right vegetables in our diets.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a great experience here! The food was yummy and the staff was very friendly. Their pizzas are exceptional ... we tried 3 of them and loved them all.

Yelp
Best pizza in the universe. Yes, it is even better than the pizza on Jupiter and Mars, or any other planet. I'm normally gluten-free but my son's margarita pizza looked so delectable, I had to have a bite...which turned into a slice and a half. It was that good. Chewy and crispy crust in all the right ways. My daughter loved her white pizza, served with an Alfredo sauce of sorts. They *think* they use organic, non-GMO flour, so I'm hoping I will avoid a tummy ache. Good gazpacho soup - light and refreshing. The quail was just meh - bland and a tad gamey. My husband's pork gnocchi was just okay too. I love that they farm all of their own organic produce and use local, organic meats. Lovely onsite flower garden to wander through while you wait for your table if you forget to make a reservation. Cute covered outdoor patio. Very friendly, calm service. They even gave my kids a free potato donut while we waited for our table. Again, crazy delicious and worth a gluten-splurge bite! Wonderful find!

Yelp
Awesome food and environment. Potato doughnuts? Yes please! Best bread and produce ever. Potato doughnuts!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
This absolutely beautiful place infuses peace and love into the food, I am sure it does. On recommendation of a friend I tried the pork ragu and it was delicious. The chef pays a lot of attention to the flavors, textures, and presentation, making this a memorable meal. The high quality of ingredients really stands out and elevates every bite.

Yelp
I drove past this place on the way to a hike with friends. They were hitting a fast food place on the way home, but I wanted something better, I was starving after the hike! I was disappointed that there were only two vegetarian options, the pastie, and a soy substitution on an omelette. I got the pastie the salad was refreshing and tasty! The pasty shell was amazing! The filling. Onions, challots, potatoes, all in an uncooked raw, flour tasting roux. No salt. Supposedly there was Fontaine cheese in it, but I gave up before I found it. It was an exorcize in bland except for the tasty pastry! Very one-dimensional especially given the variety of herbs there at gathering together. I literally ended up stopping somewhere else on the way home, I was still hungry! I've heard from animal eaters that it's very good. Veggies take note!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a lovely place for lunch. Our first visit. The Service was very nice. The Food could have been 5 stars except the fried chicken and my husband's tempeh sandwich were so unbelievably over salted that we had to box my chicken up for my husband to eat later. He likes salty food but his sandwich was also so salty even he could only eat half. The garden salad was excellent and the slaw was different and delicious. My glass of cava was good. Iced tea ok a little weak. But no Chardonnay on the menu? The wine list lacks inspiration and better/more choices. We live in wine country and people will notice this flaw. I will come back for a pizza dinner and bring friends. But please offer a high quality salt at the table and take it easy in the kitchen with it. The waitress showed proper concern and offered replacement but it was such a lovely day we hated to complain.

Yelp
Love my Groceries from the farm. Best produce ever and the pizza is great too. We picked up every other week during the winter and spring months. The farm was very considerate of Covid 19 processes.

Yelp
Two stars for decent food. Zero stars for customer service / short-sighted chef that doesn't care about the business. I was with a group a 7. We spent around $200. I ordered a beer, large salad, large tomato soup and asked if I could also have a grilled cheese to go with my soup even though it was on the kid's menu. Waitress said she would ask the chef. Chef said no - he is apparently morally opposed to making grilled cheese sandwiches for people over the age of 10. I offered to pay $10 for the grilled cheese instead of the kid's $4. Nope. So they lost $ for a grilled cheese and the tomato soup (since I didn't want the soup w/o the grilled cheese) and get a negative Yelp review. I would completely understand not wanting to let me order a grilled cheese on its own from the kid's menu, but I ordered multiple items. Not smart. Also, if you are going to have designated breakfast, lunch and dinner times, you should have breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. I shouldn't be looking at the breakfast menu at 1 PM - or just call it brunch.

Yelp
Best pizza I've ever had in my life. Call and get a reservation. They get very busy. Food is outstanding. But pricey.

Xiaoyue L.

Yelp
The restaurant has been my go-to place for a few years, especially during summer times and when hosting good friends. However, today I think I just had the worst experience by far, it's not because of the food, but due to the very very poor service. We sat down after about 25mins wait which is fine since we didn't know they started to take reservations. We waited for ten mins for the waitress to show up and take our drink order, all of us ordered house coffee, then another 15mins for the coffee to arrive. During the whole meal, the waitress didn't asked even once if we need coffee refill or anything. It's only when she brought the check and asked if we needed dessert, so we requested to have coffee refilled, again it took another 10mins for her to bring the coffee. And, we were asked to leave the table 2 minutes after the refill. Since I've been a loyal customer for at least 4 years and I've never experience such service before, we tried to put ourselves into her shoes, to think that she might have a busy day, however, I just noticed that other tables were being checked on way more frequently than ours and food was served way faster. And yes, we are a group of colored. Very disappointed, 2 stars for the food, will not come back again. And will not recommend it to friends either.

Yelp
Fresh organic veggie salads and main dishes. Had the marinated zucchini salad, grilled vegetables entree and coconut chocolate bar (gf & vegan). Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Service was a little weird/stand offish.

Yelp
I WANNA GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS!! It's the best darn eating experience I've had ANYWHERE in a long time. Five stars to; lovely lovely location. Fresh fresh fresh farm-to-table food. Adorable, cool, relaxed ambiance. Excellent service. Everything we locked lips with was fresh and delicious. This place is pretty much reservations only (to the whiner who has to drive 1 1/2 hours to get to this place - we drove 9 hours - um; plan ahead). That said, one of the three reasons I can't give this awesome restaurant 5 stars is its reservation policy. Currently open for dinner on Thursday/Friday only and Tuesday through Friday for lunch, the only other weekly meal offered (and it most certainly is the right and prerogative of the restaurant to do whatever they please and their business decisions aren't part of this review) is Saturday brunch. We were so delighted with the lunch we had at this restaurant (paltry wine list aside), we very much wanted to bring my 92 year old mother to brunch on Saturday but were told it is the ONE day reservations aren't taken! (Why?) We were told brunch/breakfast started at 9:00 and that it is such mayhem that we'd best forget it and come later. Lots wrong with this (other than the kindly transparency). Take reservations, or don't. Be consistent. Foundation rule for successful business. We were delighted with our delicious meal nonetheless and sorry Mom couldn't join us on Saturday, so delighted that we wanted to try some desserts. Whoops. Another miss. We were told to go "look in the case". No dessert menu. So I shlepped in and had a look at, essentially, pastries. Hubby and I would have happily sat there and ordered a few dessert, and coffee, snapped pics of them and told the world the good news of our find. Alas, not meant to be. Still, we left, happy, satisfied, in love with this restaurant. The parking lot faces a fabulous garden and a garden monolith thingy of sorts (plants growing out of possibly compost). We garden and were admiring this until we realized the plot of land this was on was covered in dog poo. Dogs, roaming freely (and we ADORE dogs, ours and other dogs too), were pooping all over the place. Glad we didn't step in any or this would be a one-star review :) Two big thumbs up on this awesome place. Figure out your reservations/hours, improve your wee wine list a bit, offer dessert (come on; cobbler!! ice cream with berries! anything! table-service!), and clean up the poop and we won't be able to RESERVE a table next time!

Yelp
Came here for a staff lunch, and it was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. It did take a little bit longer to get our meal. So, just order some of their yummy appetizers!

Yelp
I took my family to lunch today at the restaurant. I must say the real stars of the show were the vegetables (roasted and salad). The pizzas were delicious as only a Woodfired oven can make them. The albacore entree was good but overpriced. My biggest disappointment was the chicken liver mousse. Those of us who love mousse/pate prefer to have it presented in a little dish or pot. We can then spread it on bread, and then, only then, maybe we add a condiment such as mustard. This plate arrived with the bread already smeared with pate and a large amount of the fruity mustard over it. It made for a very odd looking presentation;the pate had far too much mustard on it. I doubt if I will be back for a meal but I will continue to buy those lovely fruit and vegetables at the farmers market.

Yelp
I've been to their restaurant a few times in recent years. Food-wise, their breakfasts are quite good, dinners are on the ok side. The service is inconsistent. On our most recent visit, we were a group of 4 and were met by an unexpectedly rude host. She told us the wait would be 30 min. I saw a few tables open and asked (for future reference) if they take reservations. She said only for groups of 6 and over. Ok, cool. I saw a few 2-person tables opening up and asked if we could split our group up between the two tables. She responded in a rude, blunt tone, saying, "IT'LL STILL BE 30 MIN." with no explanation. At that point, my family and I just walked away wondering what that was about. We've had spotty customer service experiences there before, but this time was just weird.

Yelp
This place had the best food the whole week I was visiting Oregon! The food was so fresh and had great flavor. Why aren't there more places like this in Oregon? We ordered pizza, salad, pasta, salmon, and sandwiches. Everything was really good! The only negative was the slow service, but you can't expect it to be fast at a place like this. I would definitely come back here!

Yelp
This place is fantastic. If you're looking for something that is in the country, has lovely, locally sourced food, and is relatively affordable you should definitely try this place out. The ambiance is great, the service was really friendly, and the food was fantastic. Generous portions and a nice set menu that runs ~$27. There are multiple meat options here (salmon, beef, lamb, duck) and they serve local reds/whites as well as beer from Oregon Trail and Deschutes. They also serve some smaller craft breweries like Agrarian in Eugene. The food was homey with a bit of sophistication . . . and I certainly didn't leave wanting. We didn't wait long for the food on a Friday evening during the rush. I would recommend reservations. The dinner menu is pricier than the brunch. I included a picture for price reference but the menu constantly changes with the seasons and harvests.

Yelp
My husband and I had a wonderful time at GTF last night. We hadn't been in over a year as the place had been going through a number of chefs and just did not feel as friendly as it once did. Last night felt open, welcoming, gracious the moment we walked through the door. GTF is a pretty place, and the tables are spaced nicely apart. It takes reservations, and you find your name sitting right on your table waiting for you. We arrived on time and were seated at once. (Across from our table was a large round table with someone whose name was right there but who never showed up, always sad to see and makes us particularly appreciative that restaurants like GTF with limited seating still takes reservations.) Our server was new to us and terrific. He explained things well, checked up on us carefully (This is not fast food.) and got information for us from the kitchen about the herb in one dish we found a little less successful. He was as openly interested in the food as we were, always a pleasure in a server. He also helped with very good advice about a wine by the glass for my main course from a wine menu, which is bigger, I think than it used to be, and very reasonably priced. We loved our starters. I had the grilled romaine with radishes, pecorino, and bagna cauda ( think anchovies and garlic). My partner had the green salad with summer vegetables. The romaine bagna cauda concoction was delicious. I want it again, except there are a couple of other possibilities I have my eye on for next time if they are there. (The menu changes every few weeks.) The green salad was great, too, and the portion was so generous that my partner took some home. For mains we had the gnudi (a sort of gnocchi) and the salmon with herbed couscous. The zucchini and ricotta gnudi was a creative vegetarian dish that my husband wants to go back for. The vegetables with the tomato sauce combination worked beautifully together. For the salmon dish the salmon itself was good and the accompanying spring veggies were perfect, but the herbed couscous had a combination of herbs that did not quite work for us. I would pick something else next time. We were happy and grateful that such a wonderful farm to table restaurant has persevered and is now a place that we can once again return to for a terrific dinner. One thing for Yelp I don't understand: Why isn't Gathering Together Farm on the list of restaurants in the Corvallis area. I had a hard time finding it so I could review it.

Yelp
When you want true "farm to table" dining, this is the place!! We had a wonderful fresh picked brunch today and the place was packed, for good reason! Even though the parking lot was overflowing with cars, it was only a 20 minute wait for our table "under the trees" in the enclosed patio. We enjoyed shopping in the farm market while waiting for our table, and discovered a treasure of handmade lotions, salves, and lip balms made onsite under the name "Empowered Flowers". I am über excited about these handmade gifts, will be back to purchase more and enjoy another meal! Definitely one of the best dining experiences I have had in Oregon, but I am also all about organic, made from scratch food, prepared with love!

Yelp
Best "table-to-farm" restaurant ever! Gathering Together Farm (GTF) only serves what is in season and, for the most part, all the produce comes from the farm itself. And you're sitting in the middle of it! Chef changes the menu weekly and posts his offerings on his blog - sign up on the website. Pizza is to DIE FOR. They have a wood-burning pizza oven right inside the restaurant. Usually they offer six different varieties daily. Note that you MUST call ahead of time for dinner. MUST!!! Or you WILL be turned away. You can call ahead for lunch as well, but it is a NECESSITY for dinner. There are only a few tables and they fill up fast. Wait staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Farm stand is on site so that you can purchase your own baked goods and produce. Note that they are closed from mid-November until mid-March. By the way, did you notice that I suggest you CALL AHEAD for dinner reservations?
