Great location and atmosphere—highly recommended. This spot offers a relaxed and casual Italian dining experience. Portions are smaller, but the flavour and service are consistently good. The vibe is laid-back, making it an easy choice for any occasion. If I'm staying in Laval again, I'd definitely come back.

Food was good was decent . The pizza was too doughy on the crust. The appetizers was the star of the meal very crispy and perfectly cooked calamari. The pistachio pasta was also pretty good. The fior di late tagliatelle was very basic something that I was expecting to be a lot better. Our server was amazing explained the menu well kept our water refilled. The atmosphere on the other hand was not great, the music was super loud, to speak across the table we had to almost yell. Ended the night with Tylenol for a headache. The music could lowered a little bit and it would be a perfect evening.

We hosted our bridal shower at this beautiful restaurant and could not be happier with how everything turned out! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, all our guests were raving about it! The presentation, variety, and quality were top-notch. The service was equally impressive, they were attentive, kind, and always with a smile. The venue itself is very beautiful and perfect for celebrating such a meaningful occasion. It created the perfect atmosphere for laughter, love, and unforgettable memories with family and friends. We’re so grateful for such an amazing experience and would recommend this place to anyone looking to host a special event or simply enjoy some really good food. I was at Gatto Matto on a Sunday afternoon, working as a photographer for a private event. The service was exceptionally good; the entire staff is very attentive, professional and pleasant. The location was clean and attractive. To top it off, although I was busy working, I was given a complimentary pizza to take home and enjoy. I’m really happy because it was delicious. Tasty topping with a crust that was extraordinary. Thanks for the pleasant experience! I really appreciated all your effort. You should be proud of your restaurant. Wishing you much future success.

Gorgeous restaurant with excellent food (I really enjoyed the Pizza with Prosciutto Di Parma). 🍕 Our server, Veronica, was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We reserved last minute for a group birthday party and they were very accommodating. We all had a really great time! Paid parking available around the area. Buon appetitio 😀 🍝

Great experience. This place was suggested by my daughter and I fully enjoyed it! I personnaly prefer cozy atmosphere restaurant. Gatto Matto is not what you would call cozy. It is a ratter big place but it is a very friendly place. Our lovely waitress, Stacy, made sure that everything was on point. Food was exquisite. Try out the octopus. A delight! The Tartare of salmon was exquisite. Okay, you get my point. I definitely wish you go to Gatto Matto.

31$ for two small skewers of lamb, picture attached. You have to get yourself water because the waiter won’t do it. Waiter forgot to bring dishes that we ordered. The bills were all mixed up. I don’t understand this place at all. For such a price you can get real food elsewhere. The pistachio dessert was ok, but the “Nutella” donut was awful. The Nutella was not Nutella. I don’t know how this place gets good review honestly.

We had the pleasure of dining at Gatto Matto, and it was nothing short of incredible! We ordered the Chef’s Plate, a delightful surf-and-turf creation featuring perfectly cooked steak, succulent lobster, and tender lamb chops. The plate was accompanied by broccolini, flavorful mushrooms, and crispy Parmesan fries—all bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef and the team!! The Caesar salad was another highlight—fresh, crisp, and dressed to perfection. As for the cocktails, they were absolutely delicious and expertly crafted, adding the perfect touch to our meal. Compliments to the bartenders! The service was outstanding—our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was impressively fast and efficient. To top it all off, the desserts were a showstopper. The tiramisu was heavenly, the apple dessert was divine, and the mini cannolis were the perfect sweet finish. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the exceptional food to the impeccable service, Gatto Matto truly delivered on every level. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!
