"Casual Brazilian joint Gauchão Brazilian Cuisine, located at 102 Broadway in East Somerville, has expanded and majorly upgraded its space, adding more seating, table service, all-you-can-eat grilled meats carved tableside, and a full bar, featuring cocktails like caipirinhas. The restaurant is also keeping its always-popular pay-by-weight buffet of meats and more." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

This was our first time there. We ate on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, and decided to go big for their all you can eat buffet. There are three bar stations, two cold, and one hot. Though I don't know the name of these dishes, I am glad they had it because I had a Brazilian friend who shared them with me in the past. The first is a tuna like salad with potato sticks on top. The second is cuts of sausages with greens, beans, and a grain like ingredient similar to quinoa. These are both located in the cold section of the bar. Try it, you might like it! I also appreciate that they had two different salads to choose from. The hot station was great! They had black beans, pinto beans, refried beans, white rice, and mixed rice. I wish to eat another one of their breads with cheese fillings in the center. I also wish I had a sweet plantain. The meats that come out were delicious. I really enjoyed the spicy sausage and chicken hearts. However, my only caveat is that all of the meats are extremely heavily salted. Like sodium galore!! I kept needing a water refill, but the service was slow/unattentive ... it wasn't busy either. However, when the staff did come by, they were nice and kind. Also, $40 for all you can eat for lunch is kinda pricey? Overall, it's not too bad. I would like to come here more often, but might check out other places to come pair it with. Maybe it's suppose to be that salty?

I stopped in for takeout, wow, it's so delicious! They had live music on a Wednesday night, too. Very nice place, I'll be back!

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening, place wasn’t busy. Manager was attentive and got us a table within 5 mins. There are several options to choose from . An all you can eat for $44.99 on the weekends (different pricing during the week) Self service for $12.99 per pound and Al la carte but we weren’t made aware of that. We decided to do the self service $12.99 per pound since we knew we weren’t going to eat $45 /per person worth of food. The waitress comes to your table to take your drink order. You’re then instructed to go up to get your food buffet style. Remember you’re paying per pound so be aware that you’ll be paying for everything you put on the plate. There’s a salad bar , hot food bar, rice, beans, potatoes, pork and fish. At the meat section you can let the person cutting the meat know what you want.Theres a sign above with the different cuts of beef and chicken, along with sausages. After that you get to the scale and the person weighs your food for everyone in your party. You’re given a number for your table in case you go up for seconds or thirds. The food was ok, I found the meat to be on the salty side but usually that’s expected from Brazilian steakhouses. Others in our party thought the meat was a bit tough. There was live entertainment which was fun to listen to at the beginning but then we really couldn’t have a conversation. We basically ate and decided to leave. ***Pay attention to your bill *** When it was time to pay we noticed they included an automatic 18% gratuity for a party of 6 to the bill. I can justify paying that, if we were actually getting table service. But the only time the waitress came around was to take the order for our drinks. Everything else we did ourselves. We noticed it after paying and decided to leave the bill as is. We felt it would have been more complicated to ask them to adjust it since the music in the background was so loud. Overall, it was an ok establishment. If we do go back I’ll definitely be paying attention to our bill.

So good. Not fancy but really tasty food. It’s serve yourself. All you can eat option is $45 or you can pay $12.99/lb. The grilled beef and lamb were so flavorful. There was live music and the staff were pleasant.

Google
Muito ruim para um restaurante e ter que pagar oque vc come ok mais pagar para ver um show ridículo não recomendo Terrible that you if you want to have dinner there and listen to the music you have to pay 30$ for a couple it should be free. Also they included the tip already and do not tell you. I do not recommend this place, there are way better places to eat around the area.

Chris Toliver

Google
Very authentic tasty cuisine. Seems to be full of Brazilians if that tells you something. A bit run down but absolutely clean.

Google
This will be the closest i can get to real Brazilian cooking!! The restaurant works in 2 ways, a la cart or the 'buffet style's I would highly suggest the buffet style!!!! You pay the pound. The exact way you would in Brazil! Highly recommend this place and the staff are super nice and helpful.

Google
I was in the mood for a good barbecue type of meat the day I visited the restaurant. I had beef, pork and sausage and all that I can say is that was delicious. The beef stew had a good taste and was nice and tender. Feijao tropeiro was good. The place looked very different from the last time I was there. Lots of space with two or three television screens and a bar located in the back. The staff was friendly! The difficult part was to find a place to park my car. I had to drive around several times. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
No frills place to get Brazilian churrasco and sides. Food is fresh and tasty. Don't get the meat well done, it will be dry, pick cuts with fat, the fraldinha or skirt steak is my go-to along with the chicken hearts (these you should get well done!). This place has been around for along time and is a good place to get Brazilian food. Only down side is no parking.

My Fat Ass K.

Yelp
I love the service, food quality, and quantity!! Parking situation can be tricky but you'll be fine. Just enjoy the buffet style and you'll be content

Michelle L.

Yelp
Excellent meat!!! My favorite was the ribs and one of the meats next to the main cooking station. They also had good food to dress it like pan con queso, frijoles (fried beans), Cesear salad, lasagna (sorta), and vegetables. Perfect place if you're really hungry and feel like eating double your weight. The service is interesting as the server only speaks portugués, but hey you're here for food. Do an early dinner so you can pay lunch prices (39 for unlimited, high quality meat!). The live music was great too.

Cecil P.

Yelp
Not bad. Food is good, but could use more seasoning. I also found the number of items to be less than their competition near by.

Osiris G.

Yelp
I can't speak to what this place is like with the old photos nor the quality of the food years ago. In 2023-2024 when I started eating here, it has been nothing but stellar. The beef cuts are amazing. They had me at pichana and skirt steaks. The fatty pieces are salted to perfection. I can't speak to the buffet or other meats because the beef cuts really hit the spot. Since I work in this area, I don't bother with other restaurants even though I am sure they are good too. This place is not a fancy steakhouse but MANNNNN is the steak good!

Chris C.

Yelp
Prices were alright for Brazilian BBQ: 12.99/lb for mixed items, 18.99/lb for only meat, otherwise about 45/All you can eat for dinner . There are a couple places in the surrounding area (Oasis, Oliveria's). Most of the bbq was dry, which was sad because it looked good.

Yelp
Gauchao Brazilian Cuisine: Brazilian Steakhouse for the rest of us! When you think Brazilian Steakhouse maybe a place that starts with "Fogo" or ends with "de Brazil" comes to mind. Those places, while absolutely amazing, are often associated with a nice night out. What I love about Gauchao is that they found a way for us to enjoy Brazilian cuisine in a more laid-back, casual, and fun setting. I was in town and saw that my hotel was within walking distance of Gauchao so I stopped by for some take-out for dinner. Gauchao offers dine-in ACYE as well as fixed-priced and "by the pound" take-out options. I opted for a large to-go platter: 3 meats and 3 sides. Here's my rundown: Top Sirloin Cap: nicely marbled with that fat cap, the fat melts right onto the cut of beef for maximum flavor. It was nicely seasoned with salt by the server (no Salt Bae needed.) Sirloin: A leaner cut but still solid Brisket: Full of charcoal smoke flavor and leaner when compared to traditional Texas-style BBQ brisket Pinto Beans: Watery but still full of flavor- I tossed them on top of my side of rice- which also had a lot of flavors. Never did I think I'd be writing about how flavorful the rice was! Lasagna: Honestly the most random side item, but I had to choose three sides and there it was- and it wasn't that bad! Lots of cheese. Overall a great value considering the meal served as both my dinner and breakfast the next day. I wish there were more places like Gauchao back in DC so I could enjoy Brazilian cuisine more often outside of the fancy night out to Fogo.

Bruno B.

Yelp
Meat was cold, chewy, tough, not edible. Oliveira Everett has better meat & side selection.

B D.

Yelp
Classic Brazilian self-service restaurant. Great grilled meat: picanha, beef ribs, grilled chicken, chicken with bacon. 3 different bean preparations, salads, veggies, braised chicken or beef- all delicious. It's also affordable, the staff is amazing, and the restaurant is super comfortable.

Justin D.

Yelp
They have very good food, self service type of place. Be aware that it is SUPER expensive, plates by the pound. For a family of three with three canned sodas, it was $83.00! Three plates of delicious food, but definitely not worth the price and self service. I was shocked at the price and not even a fancy or unique atmosphere. Live and learn!

Christopher P.

Yelp
Amazing, authentic Brazilian food. I opted for the pay-by-weight, where my total came out to $28. In hindsight, I would have just gotten the Churrasco, which ranges from $16-$24.

Keyi L.

Yelp
Good choice if you want to have a perfect lunch with low price !The meat is crispy outside and juicy inside !

Fox E.

Yelp
So you need to come and try this now Because when you eat this you'll say wow I don't mean my hot bae Though I really must say She's even more yummy than Gauchao I really like this place. Their meat is delicious as advertised although their other stuff isn't amazing. And I have to say they were pretty decent about serving me close to closing time - and not just me but everybody else that came in as well - so as far as all of the Brazilian buffets go in this area, I would definitely give this one another try and I definitely like the meat a lot more than I thought I would. And I thought that because they put a bunch of extra meat on my plate that it was going to be more expensive - but it ended up being really good value and not expensive at all, which I appreciated - so definitely getting 5 stars from me and I will be going back again in the near future.

Daniel T.

Yelp
Staff were friendly and helpful. Maybe I came on a bad day, but the meat was very dry, whether it was the steak, sausage, or fried fish.

Andrea F.

Yelp
We had a fantastic experience at Alma Gauche in Boston. We ate like kings and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Cosmo X.

Yelp
It was OK. The meats were tasty, but there was some decent amount of fat on it but I know that gives it flavor.

Mark W.

Yelp
I accidently ordered the family meal for 4 when there was only 2 of us so I was eating the food for about 3 days! The serving size is plentiful for the price that they charge. The meat was pretty good and they certainly offer a great variety. The sides were also very flavorful. One thing I'd say is that it was all just a bit too salty. The food kept well for a few days and still tasted the same throughout. I'd definitely order again if i needed to feed a bunch of people for a great price.

Sal R.

Yelp
I rely on Yelp to help me make decisions on where to eat so I felt the need to submit a review. NOTE: I'm still sitting in the establishment. The food was cold... I had to ask (a few times) for ketchup, salt and pepper waited VERY long for condiments so much so that the party I was with was done eating... I'm a pescatarian so I order the fried shrimp and tilapia with tarter sauce.... It's been 30 minutes without the tarter sauce and the shrimp is not good! Someone I'm with ordered a beer and I told the waitress to make it 2... she returned with one. I do not recommend this place and the food is not good. Time wasted is something you can not get back. Do not waste it here.

Tom Y.

Yelp
You can never find a Brazilian meat for this price & quality anywhere. For $8.49 per pound, you can get any sorts of meats freshly cooking on the grill. YUM!! I'm from California and there's only over-priced ayce Brazilian bbq places. I've been to one ayce place before & it was great. However, it wasn't worth the money to this day. Sadly I'm not able to experience the pure joy of brazilian bbq anymore where I'm from since I'm not so rich as to spend $60+ after taxes and tips for mediocre ayce places not so worth the money. Once I found out about per pound places in Boston, it just blew me away. People of Boston, consider yourself so lucky to have restaurants like these. Places like this make me want to live in Boston but sadly I can't. Loved the salad (fresh), not too salty rice, not salty at all sirloin beef (on point, medium rare). If I lived nearby this place I would come once every two months at least (since too much isn't so good for my health). I honestly want to get it once a week, but lets keep it at that. There's another per pound place in Allston area but this place is somewhat better taste (not too salty, & softer meat, not chewy), cleaner and bigger dining area. Allston place is cheaper, however. But for the quality, I would come here if I had a choice. Overall, I loved the food so so so so much. If you are meat lover, this is your place. Sirloin beef, was just on point. Thanks you guys for keeping this place up.

Martin S.

Yelp
Every time I came here, I get the warm, welcoming experience that I've known the staff for a very long time. At the same time, each meal surprises and delights me. For foodies looking for a cozy atmosphere without the frills yet still a top-notch experience, come here.

Payam Z.

Yelp
Gauchao has a lot of great attributes. The pay by weight option provides great value for getting a variety of your fav grilled meats without overdoing it! I'm a big fan of the sirloin, beef ribs, chicken and flank steak but don't care much for the brisket or lamb meat. The buffet offers many options including some Brazilian stews, though it would be even better with a few more veg options (many buffet menus also have meat!) Aside from having some of the best bbq in the Boston area, Gauchao also has a number of interesting Brazilian dessert options mostly in the form of flans and puddings. Although Guachao lacks a bit in terms of ambiance compared to other Brazilian BBQ, it makes up for it with very friendly and accommodating staff which definitely add to the experience. Overall a bit out of the way if you're coming from Boston, but worth the trip if you're in the mood for grilled meats!

Brian G.

Yelp
My dad took me here as a kid back when it was a little 1 small room shop. Always loved the food and argued to come back even after I moved away. I came back in today after a couple years and the place looks great! Its like an upscale location now, love to see they're doing well. Prices stayed though, didn't break the bank getting my usual.

Ansia F.

Yelp
I came here with my uncle to get a bite. I had a roasted chicken salad that was really good. I like that it's a buffet style so you choose which ingredients you want. My uncle got a half pound of the sliced beef. It had nice flavor however it was tough and chewy. Their prices are reasonable..I would definitely come back to try the other menu items.

Phil C.

Yelp
I suppose when you're the only one in the restaurant not speaking Portuguese... It was a Friday night and I was visiting a friend nearby. I proposed this location because I didn't want to try anything across over at Assembly Square. Those soulless chain gangs... Gauchao is a typical low-key Brazilian bbq in terms of organization. You self-serve entrees, salad, and then you get meat served by a chef manning the grill. After that, your plate is weighed at the cash register. I plated a little bit of salad and fried fish. My main portion of the plate consisted of medium rare top sirloin and bacon-wrapped chicken. The top sirloin was quite good, with it not being too salty. The beef was tender and delicious. The chicken was okay, though a bit dry, which I kinda do expect from chicken at a restaurant. The fried fish wasn't too bad, though you probably want to save weight for more beef. There are a variety of Brazilian entrees and sides (like rice, beans, stews), but I'm sure you're a pro and only go for the grilled meats. Service was friendly and considerate. The lady at the counter brought me my guarana instead of me having to hold a plate while trying to get one out of the fridge. Price per pound is a good value.

Ashley D.

Yelp
Gauchao's is the definition of a bomb hole in the wall. If you walk in and hear nothing but Portuguese, you're in the right place. It's as authentic of a Brazilian BBQ place as you can get. I love coming here to get take-out, and it's a convenient place to stop by for a quick yet hearty lunch/dinner. First, pick up your to-go or for-here plate then fill up on all the sides you want. At the end of the counter is the guy that will hold the key to your heart (aka gate keeper to all of the amazing meats cooking in the racked oven). My favorites are the chicken and the pork sausage. Some people think I'm crazy for getting anything but beef cuts because their sirloin is also so amazing, but the flavor on the chicken and sausage just get me every time. Everything is charred and delicious. Pay by the pound makes the pricing easy and extremely reasonable it keeps me coming back pretty much weekly. When comparing to fancy places like Fogo de Chao, the quality at the upscale places is a little better, but for the price Gauchao's is really, really hard to beat. Don't forget to grab a Guarana soda and add lots of Molho de Pimenta hot sauce to complete the experience.

Casi J.

Yelp
We live nearby and didn't realize this place was even here. It was phenomenal! I'm so happy we found it. The food was absolutely delicious. We chose the option with the meat coming over on big swords and it was so much fun. There was live music playing. I'm so happy we found this and we'll be back soon.

Nikolai K.

Yelp
If you require some protein ASAP, go here. Absolutely phenomenal cuts of meat. Great variety, and the meats aren't too salty (which is, unfortunately, a common shortcoming of other Brazilian places such as Oasis). I recommend: Top Sirloin: Juicy, can choose well-done or medium rare. Chicken Bacon: Chicken pieces (I think thigh) wrapped in bacon. Chicken hearts: My personal favorite, I really like the texture. In addition to the fresh meats, there's a salad bar with some greens, and some hot stews which I don't usually get. You pay by weight, so I usually just go for the vegetables and meat. Try some of the desserts as well, I've had one of them (Passionfruit mousse), and was not disappointed. There are TVs but they are all in Portuguese, which is pretty cool.

Mario M.

Yelp
To all. Service is impeccable. I was very IMPRESSED with the service. The food was the BEST in BOSTON. CRAZY to think this is nothing but the best, although the reviews only indicate a 4.2 review. Here you can eat the best Brazilian BBQ I have had in a long time.

mary d.

Yelp
The all you can eat is not worthy. The guy serving the meat takes forever to come to the table, and he has a bad attitude. You have to be seating there waiting for food. We regretted taking the all you can eat option, probably better to have the food weighted and seat to eat instead of waiting for this rude guy.

Christian B.

Yelp
This place is the best and they've really upgraded the atmosphere, everything here is amazing, especially the caipirinhas and the steak. So so good, and the staff is really cool.

Dillon G.

Yelp
Love this place! Satisfies my Brazilian craving whenever it comes up (once a week maybe?). I'm not particularly enthused by their buffet: salad bar, rice and beans, the farofa dish they like to eat, and a few meats. I did have some good seasoned pork from the buffet, but the real winner is the churrasco. My favorite general meats from churrasquerias are picanha (steak), coracao (chicken heart), and pernil (pork). Their picanha and pernil are fantastic, the chicken hearts were very overcooked, probably because they aren't ordered very often. Their general takeout is $8 per lb I believe, and its definitely worth the price. Definitely recommend going during peak hours to get the meat when it's ready.

Jeffrey K.

Yelp
Good quality and delicious meats. Very reasonably priced too. Will be coming whenever we have near cravings

Samantha B.

Yelp
Very casual Brazilian buffet and churrascaria (BBQ) in East Somerville. Come hungry, lots of food for cheap (around $8.00/pound). Eat-in or to-go. Choose from plenty of sides on the buffet, including rice, beans, and plantains. Go up to the counter to order the skewered and then sliced meats (churrasco). Varieties of beef, pork, and chicken available. Recommend at least two. Pay at the counter and enjoy. Rice (white with small vegetables), beans (black or kidney), plantains (sweet), and pico de gallo salsa are standard in flavor but essential to enjoy the meats. The plantains cut into the savory flavors to calm the palate. The sirloin's sear is what you come to a place like this for. Just enough char and salt to compliment the slightly tender meat. Option for rare to well-done. Linguica (pork sausage) is, for a lack of a better term, porky with plenty of seasoning.

Adam K.

Yelp
There are people who rank this as the best restaurant in all of the Boston area. I won't go that far, but it's very good. Some will be put off by the minimal decor and lack of table service, but that is not why you come to Gauchao. This place is all about the food and flavor, and in particular, its meat. When you arrive, you take a tray, serve your food, and then request the meats you wish to consume from a server manning a dozen skewers in a large oven. It's that simple, and it shouldn't be any more complicated. No fuss; just heartiness and flavor. There is a wide array of meat. It ranges from steak, to pork, to multiple types of sausage, and more. Each is slow cooked and salted deliciously. There's almost something magical about perfectly cooked Brazilian meat. There is no unique rub or seasoning. There is no sauce or elaborate cooking method. The food is just slow cooked and salted; yet, it is regularly some of the most delicious meat you can try. This is epitomized by Gauchao. This casual joint has been a favorite of mine since I moved to Somerville eight years ago, and continues to be after my lunch there yesterday.

Sonia M.

Yelp
I hated the food. I made the mistake of going there for my birthday dinner and they totally spoilt it. I went for the all you can eat bbq and the food was awful, cold and tasteless. The tables were dirty and unkept. I wouldnt even give one star.

Daniel G.

Yelp
Excellent place and meats, I do take out at least once a week here. Give them a try you will be very satisfied. Thanks Gaucho

Rebecca D.

Yelp
I can't give ENOUGH stars for this place. Look, if you want to go to a fancy, overpriced, date-night kinda place, this ain't it. If you want to chow down on some of the best grilled meat you've ever had in your life, eat as much as you want, and not break the bank, THIS is your place. I have been meaning to write a review forever, but kind of wanted to keep this gem a secret, but it really deserves all the customers it can get. I have been coming to this place for years with my boyfriend - even before I actually moved to Boston, we would come here during my visits. Now it's an almost weekly treat after the gym, and we definitely know the staff now. It seems a bit intimidating the first time you come in, but they are really friendly and the price and quality can't be beat. I always do take out, just because we usually eat this with lots of extra hot sauces and avocado and beers, etc. at home, but it's your call if you wanna hang in the restaurant. We usually just get some lettuce (to balance the meat?) and some plantains, and then I'm not going to lie, we have never invested time into the rest of the hot bar because the meat is SO GOOD. It's 8.99 a pound, and I find myself always always getting the beef ribs, getting the hump when it hasn't run out yet, and sirloin and the pork are always a solid choice. Also chicken hearts if you're feeling adventurous - but really you can't go wrong. We also tried the flan once and it was also SO CREAMY and delicious. You basically have to try really hard to go wrong here. (also...if you go there on the regular they will definitely give you some extra meat on occassion, and you'll tell yourself that you won't eat the entire 2.5 pounds that you clearly have accumulated between the two of you, and you will be lying to yourself...and that's ok). Anyways - you wanna support a local neighborhood joint run by some of the most hard working people? AND you want that food to blow your mind with every bite? Get. Your. Life. And. Get. To. Gauchao.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
The absolute best Brazilian meal I have had outside of Brasil! Amazing food and service! The picanha was perfectly cooked. We asked about brigadeiros and they didn't have any made - so they made some fresh for us! Served warm for our family to share....so delicious! If we lived here we would be regulars!

Karina T.

Yelp
This spot is amazing. Wish we would have gone to this place on our first day there. Restaurant was clean, works always had there masks on and they were very attentive. Food was fantastic and so were the drinks. I would definitely come back.

Phung N.

Yelp
Self Serve hot and ready food! For $7.59/pound (meat & side items) you will be surprised at how much you can fill your plate. If you just want meat it is $9.00/pound. You have the option of sitting down to eat there or have it all to go. So, you come in and get whatever side dishes you like onto your plate then go to the meat section to request specific meats. Very simple! This spot is really casual, nothing fancy. Every day is different, today there was some salad and fruits, a few varieties of rice (plain, mixed) and beans (black, kidney). Once you tell the worker what meat you would like, they will get it out of the oven and slice it then give it to you (I appreciated how the person sliced off the fat before he gave me the meat). OK, now you just weigh your food, get a drink maybe? (passion fruit was really good) pay, then enjoy your delicious meal! There is television (was in spanish when I came in), it's a nice addition, but I was too busy scarfing down my food. I came in an hour before closing and I noticed the beef brisket I got was a bit dry. The winning meat today was Beef Ribs and Top Sirloin. Once you're done with your meal, you can just leave it there and someone will come and clean your table. There is street parking available, I came at night so there was no parking problems. I however will be coming back to this location during the day. I'm pretty sure I can get a more amazing experience at this spot if I come earlier. Some of my meat was dry and it is probably because it was a late night batch. If you are into BBQ beef/chicken/pork/lamb COME HERE! It is that good. By the way! There are desserts here too! Mostly mousse, but they also have flan and rice pudding. I got a rice pudding to go, and it was good! Definitely coming back to this spot again.

Mr. Game And Watch ..

Yelp
Update: They recently expanded into the unit next door, increasing the size. They have also redecorated and added a full bar! I think the churrasco and caipirinha here is better than Fogo de Chão.

Christie L.

Yelp
Very cheap, affordable, and tasty Brazilian BBQ! Outside is a bit sketchy and even has bars on the door, but once I tasted the food, I forgot about my surroundings. Pay by weight! Self serve of sides such as black/pinto beans, rice, plantains, fries, lettuce, salsa. At the end of the line, there is a guy who cuts fresh meats (chicken sausage, chicken heart, different cuts of beef, bacon wrapped chicken). Piled up the plate coming out to about $20 for 2. The salsa was fresh with a little spice which went well with the meat. All the meats were tasty, but my favorites were the brisket and bacon. Bacon wrapped chicken was so juicy and flavorful. By far my favorite of all the meats I tried. Passionfruit Mousse: light and fluffy with just the right amount of passionfruit. Very tasty and not too sweet and only $2!

Sarah C.

Yelp
This place was a solid 3 stars for me. I guess because we have so many Brazilian places in the Marlboro/Hudson/Framingham area I am use to these and not easily impressed. I have been here twice now - once during on time - which I highly recommend for any buffet and another during a not so busy time (around 2PM). The food was really good both times but the second time you could definitely taste that the meat had been sitting on the spicket longer than I would prefer. They had the usual buffet sides.. 2 different rice options, 2 different bean options, salad fixings, potato and chicken salad (salpicao), a few vegetable options, a chicken and corn lasagna, and a couple self serve meat dishes. The BBQ meat is why you come here... they had lots of options. Load up your plate and weigh it before going back to your table. Overall the food was good and cheap. I didn't deduct any points for this but I think management should really take control if a homeless person is in their restaurant going table to table asking for money ( I am not cruel hearted and do think he deserved a good meal but I do not think it is all appropriate in this setting to be asking). This completely ruined the dining experience for me.

Yelp
Went here once during the summer, and am about to go again tonight! After having eaten Brazilian food throughout the summer away from home, upon returning, I definitely missed that aspect of my life. I came here, and the food brought back so many memories! The cuisine is delicious, and very reasonably priced. The environment was casual, but not too laid back. It is buffet style, so you can choose how much of each item you would like, which I prefer, being someone who doesn't eat a ton. After leaving here, I immediately made of a note of the place, so that I could come back in the future. I'm coming back tonight as a Valentine's Day dinner, and I hope it is just as good as last time. Would definitely recommend this place to someone who likes Brazilian food, or to people who want to try new things! There are dozens of sides, great food, good atmosphere.

Yelp
Damn that was rough. Medium steak was leather. Sausage was dry. Food didn't seem fresh I walked out on a full plate I never do that. Rice and beans were fresh and tasty. Chicken thigh with bacon was decent. There's way better other spots close by.

Yelp
If you're looking for an authentic brazilian buffet and fresh grilled meat place in East Somerville, put this one on your list. Food is amazing, sometimes the chicken hearts are a little overcooked (I think because less people order them), but the Pernil is some of the best I've had. Super brazilian, very delicious, highly recommend.

Yelp
The food was great , service impeccable, portions enough to eat 2 persons twice, I will definitely come back here.

Yelp
Excellent spot to get some rodizio. All the meats are amazing but our favorites are the chicken sausages and chicken hearts. We always get stuff from the buffet. All the sides are super yummy. We also get some deserts from next door. Love the coconut flan. Final grade: A-

Yelp
I went in the middle of the day during off hours (3pm) and the food was still fresh and warm. It's now 8.10 per pound, but its well worth it. The food was super delicious! Be aware, the food is heavy Brazilian food, so come with an empty stomach. I highly recommend the picanha, the best cut of meat they have. The food is mostly self serve, other than the churrasco meats, but the service there is good. When we were ready to get churrasco meats, one of the guys working there stepped up to help us. You pay at the register after putting your plate on a scale. Don't expect table service or anything, but for delicious food at a good price, this is definitely a place to come.
