Gaucho Charlotte Street

First time ever at Gaucho and this was a great venue to try them out. Intimate, and stylish - would be perfect for date nights or cozy dinners.. Food was yummy and cooked really well. Had the chateubriand polished off with a delicious red. Looking forward to trying the other Gaucho venues.

This restaurant is visually appealing and conveniently located about a ten-minute walk from my West End show at the Dominion. I decided to treat myself to the theater pre-fix dinner, which I highly recommend. However, be sure to ask for the menu, as it won’t be presented directly to you. The minestrone soup had a bit too much pepper, but the steak was delicious but portion small if you’re only selecting the two entree choice. Steak accompanied by chips. The dessert was a delightful pancake with ice cream. Just keep in mind that the check will include a 13% gratuity.

Great Gaucho!! As always, superb experience, beautiful venue, you forget that you are in a basement. Very friendly staff and always helpful and fun banter. Quality furnishing and design, easy to hear, tables very well spaced. Spicy prawn starter was wonderful, small but enough. Rump steak main was cooked perfectly and incredibly tasty. Best crispy and hot chips I’ve had since I can remember.

I had an incredible evening at this place! The food and drink were top-notch, and everything was spotlessly clean. The vibe was perfect, and the service really stood out—everyone was super friendly and knew the menu inside out. They even gave me a great wine recommendation and checked in on my meal. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Gaucho Charlotte Street is an absolute must. We started with the smoked salmon delicately sliced, fresh, and full of flavor, paired beautifully with a crisp lemon wedge and fresh greens. A perfect light beginning. For the main, I cannot recommend the CHURRASCO DE LOMO highly enough! This spiral-cut fillet was marinated in garlic, parsley, and olive oil, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour pure steak perfection 😋. Served with a fresh chimichurri and complemented perfectly with golden fries, broccolini with toasted almonds, and sautéed greens. Everything was elevated by a beautiful glass of red wine, which the staff kindly recommended to match the richness of the beef. The ambience of the restaurant is warm, sophisticated, and intimate with soft lighting, plush booths, and a chic bar area that makes it ideal for date night or a classy dinner with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, creating a relaxed and welcoming experience from start to finish. Whether you’re a steak enthusiast or just appreciate beautifully prepared food in a great location Gaucho Charlotte Street is a five-star gem. I’ll definitely be back!

10/10 such a lovely meal here. Staff are great, the restaurant is spotless and the steak is really good, but omg, the Prawn Chicharron starter, I am completely hooked, it's so so so delicious 😋

It was great. The 2 sides - carpaccio and sausage platter was great although the sausage was a bit burnt but it wasn’t really a problem for me The steak tho! I just ordered a rump steak and it was so juicy and well cooked i enjoyed every bite. Diana was absolutely kind and attentive. I would definitely go back to try other steaks
