Gaucho Ranch - Retail Store

Such a nice store for those that love meat and barbecue! If you like the gaucho culture is a plus. I’m from the south of Brazil so very interesting to see such a store. It’s owned by Argentinians but both cultures are intertwined. Anyway: there are knives, wood trays for cutting meat, grass fed and specialty cuts. Also seasoning and sauces. Lots of things to check out and try. Great friendly people attended to us.

Surprisingly, the meat is top-quality. I only say that because I’ve seen other places like the one in Biscayne Boulevard. The meet is terrible., this one we have been buying from for 3 months and everything has a great flavor grass fed and finished beef even the fish is so fresh tasting ,

Amazing experience. Did a full lamb and a full pig. Seemed like it was smoked using different types of wood. Highly recommend!!!

I bought my first boneless organic lamb; I think it was a pack of four for about $30. And the cashier there, I guess he's the owner, gave me some tips on how to defrost the lamb in warm water in the package and how to season and cook it. And it came out great.🙂👍 I will be going back.🙂 Also, on 83rd Street and 2nd avenue they have a restaurant which I will have to check out.

Absolutely loved this cooking experience! The Argentinian and Uruguayan approach to grilling is all about patience and technique, and it was amazing to learn from instructors who truly embrace this style. The small class size made it easy to ask questions and interact with the instructors, which added a personal touch. The side dishes were fantastic, and having two instructors for two hours made the experience even more immersive. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn authentic techniques and enjoy a hands-on cooking class!

This is a great place to get all grass finished meats. many of their meats are from Argentina. Sevice was exceptional. Many cured meats without nitrates.

Great place to come when buying your steaks and sausages for a good price. The Uruguayan ribeye and and the cowboy steak are amazing. The team that works here are very friendly and go through all of the cuts they have available. If you're looking for quality grass fed meats this is the place to come to. I will continue to come back as a customer. You will not be disappointed.

The quality of the beef is unmatched. Uruguay produces the finest and the Gaucho delivers. They also have a great selection of pork,foul,seafood etc. They sell Garzon wine which is delicious. I'll always return here, it's great!

La Culotte! The cow's rear is so succelent, fatty, and juicy! I'm talking as if I was a butch man looking at an arse of a woman. Seriously, this Gaucho Ranch - doesn't matter if it's Uruguayan, Argentine, or whatever it may be... but they really do bring in the top-of-the-line cuts of beef that if there was a Miss Universe for Steaks, this would be the Miss Venezuela candidate! (This is where I would normally brag, but for the sake of the review, I'll go on) Trimming the fat before cooking is like slicing through butter. Rub it in some sea salt (other stuff may be added). And following Pablo's wisdom, I simply (SIMPLY) put in the trimmed culotte, fat-side up, into the oven that has been preheated at 400 degrees F. And 30 minutes later, it's done? (Broil the top if you want a little more crust) Yup, you can forget the BBQ grill if you're living in a condo. Pablo has all the secrets to cooking every cut of steak using the grill OR the oven so be sure to ask him for any advice you need in order to impress your guests. And get this... four thin slices of the culotte filled me up instantly - it was so juicy it would make the French proud, so flavorful it would make the Argentine proud (or any other nationality for that matter). My knife went through it so tenderly as if I was a master swordsman. And the juices trickled down all over its sides - not one part overcooked, and not one part undercooked. They say that the most important part of having an excellent beef dish is really not in the seasoning, sauces, but in the meat. Grass-fed is the way to go - it's healthier (more Omega-3, less chemicals and radicals, etc) and definitely tastier. And it doesn't hurt that the beef here are for a reasonable price, knowing what you get! The good thing about the meat here is that you know it's fresh, and often times fresher than what you get in the butcher shop, since the meat at Gaucho Ranch is vacuumed packed - it lasts longer and is kept clean from outside environment. So... go get that culotte (or any other type of beef), and get their garlicky and somewhat spicy chimichurri for the punch in your tongue that melds so well with the juicy beef. So, yeah. HOLY COW!

Ok full disclosure, I'm slightly hesitant to write this review because I want to keep this secret pop up to myself , but to be fair, everyone should know about how fabulous it is. This, for me, is the best of Miami. Coming from a more conservative northeast city, we didn't get the experimentation and willingness to make a restaurant out of nothing that Miami offers on a regular basis. So it's not a restaurant but a small purveyor of fine meats in a tucked away meat boutique in an office park in little river. The meats are shipped fresh from Uruguay and they work with a few other high end specialty shops to put on this one a month pop up where they break out the grills and amidst smoke and sweat, convert the side parking lot into a gaucho party. They go for about 4 hours and for $30/person or $50 couple you will be treated to a smorgasbord of all you can eat grass fed freshly grilled meats, sausages, steaks, rib eye, filet. It goes on and on. You can also enjoy fresh cheese from Mimmos mozzarella, a delicious salad and for a bit extra, you can buy wine. Or you can bring your own wine and salads, scope out a spot and just fill up on meat. Dinner is at communal picnic tables and it's just easy and friendly. It can get toasty outside with the grills and smoke but form that price and that quality of meat, you won't find better anywhere. Love everything about this. They only offer pop up barbecues every other month or so. But you can buy the amazing meat they serve, anytime at their store. We do. It's delicious but somehow grilled in the open air among friends, it tastes better.

Grass feed New York steak and organic pork sausages is a must try. We bought also rack of lamb but its a bit pricey ($60.00). The quality of the meat is outstanding, Gaucho Ranch specializes in grass feed beef, but it also carries pork, chicken and turkey. The prices are much more than what you'd spend at Whole Food or The fresh market depending on what you get. There is a really good selection. I promise you won't regret it !!!!

I have been trying to get in contact with this company to have beef delivered and it has been impossible to get in touch. Although it says online that they deliver in the continental US, at check out there is no option for shipping. I have called the phone number provided several times and no one has answered. Someone in an email said they would be calling but they still have not and the store is going to be closed for the day shortly, despite my expression of urgency. They lost a potential customer! If things went well, I would have continued to order from them but obviously this business cannot be depended on

A friend recommended this shop to me and I couldn't be happier! We were greeted by such friendly and knowledgeable people. Pablo explained to me which beef cut worked best for the dish I wanted to cook, which was perfect for a novice cook like myself. There is such a great selection of grass fed quality beef at this shop. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for grass fed beef!

Meats are OK, but not at the level of a Meat-N-Bone or Josh Premium Meats. Also, they were two days late on delivery as the experience was not that good at all. They did call, and tried to fix the problem, but in the end, was not happy with their steaks or product.

Tried to place an order for pick up. Guy that answered phone was super rude and actually hung up on me. Immediately called Josh's and placed my order with ease. The gentleman at Josh's was polite, professional, and even offered to deliver.

Healthy "darn good" beef! MIA locals should stop by Gaucho Ranch's "Grill Boutique", coolest little place on NE 2nd. These guys are so passionate about their Uruguayan meat, that it's contagious. I got to know them through one of their "meat tasting" events where I sampled all the cuts and ate my carnivorous soul away. The taste and texture of their meat is noticeably superior, and may I also add, ALL NATURAL, grass fed, omega rich, hormone free, good for you, HEALTHY BEEF!!! My absolute favorites for a special occasion are the strips, the organic chorizo, and YES, that chimi-churri sauce everyone keeps on talking about. In a nut shell, I enjoyed so much the event, and the meat is so "darn good" that I buy exclusively from them since. They cater private "grilling soirees" locally, and ship anywhere in the US, so pass the word around to any out of state "health-conscious carnivores". After trying them, it will be impossible to go back to any old, 2nd grade "meat buying patterns". Thanks guys for bringing us the good stuff!!!

Being a big fan of South American cuts of meat, it has been pretty much impossible to find any grass-fed or organic steaks and sausages. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to discover the mecca of healthy meats - Gaucho Ranch. More meat boutique than butcher shop, this hidden gem in the ghetto on NE 2nd is a must stop for any serious grillers that care about how their meat is sourced. It's a bit pricey - $11 for a 12 oz entrana but you are getting grass-fed goodness. Pablo the owner and Uruguayan beef master walked me through the various cuts they sell and even provided some very helpful grilling tips. We bought 2 entranas, a flap steak, organic pork sausage, homemade chimichurri, and grilling cheese and had rave reviews at the tailgate. The grass fed meat is delicious and lean. They have meat tastings once a month - wood fire grilled meat and wine for $15. I'm definitely looking forward to going to the next one. If I am feeding a big party I will probably still head to La Estancia due to the price, but for that special occasion I will definitely pick up the good stuff at Gaucho Ranch. So I finally had a chance to drive up to Gaucho Ranch to use my Dealtificate that was about to expire. I have not yet grilled my steak so this review is purely related to my shopping experience. Their store hours aren't exactly 9-5 friendly, they close at 6 PM on week days and on Saturdays they are only open a few hours as well. The store, once you find it, is clean, bright and the staff very friendly and English speaking (hallelujah). The Dealtificate stipulation was "Beef and grill sides only". I find it sort of irritating when vendors add additional restrictions not included in the fine print. I wanted ground Wagyu beef and was told that wasn't part of the Dealtificate. Last I checked Wagyu is beef, is it not? Asked whether I could get regular ground beef instead, they had just run out. So I ended up getting skirt steaks, which is not my favorite cut of beef. Everything is frozen and already vacuum sealed so you can't get the exact quantity you want, i.e. a 2 lb versus an 8 lb brisket. Other options are also limited, no single fillets, only a $90 whole tenderloin. No sirloin whatsoever. At these prices I will pick up Bison at Whole Foods or Publix instead.

Vegetarian steaks. For real. Not being a huge meat eater, the beef at Gaucho Ranch is the closest you will get to a healthy piece of meat. All of their cuts of beef are from cattle fed a natural, pesticide free diet of grass and flowers. You can find their steaks in select resturants in Miami, online for delivery or stop by their shop tucked away off NE 2nd Ave for some immediate gradification. The special garlic rich chimi-churi is like none other in Miami. Shout out to Don Julio who will cater your next party with his mobile asado wagon.

You might be better off ordering online, though, why support them when you have other choices like Wild Forks or Publix. Stopped by the store at 1pm and it was closed despite having the open sign on and hours posted from 10am to 6pm. Wasted my time so don't waste yours. Would be questionable if they will be around. Called the number on the door and "Valter" said they wouldn't be back till 3pm. Really? I'm taking my money elsewhere. Not worth the effort.

Call it undercover... It's low key casual fun-friendly gathering around wood-burning grills with flavorful cuts of grass fed beef. The smell of BBQ, choice of meats friendly atmosphere is unique. I highly recommend this spot. I also loved the part of being able to bring my own bottle of wine (and a few beers!). Seating is on a first-come basis and fresh cheeses waiting to be sampled. This tasting events are part of their tradition of sharing with friends and customers their love for good quality "asados". The team was very attentive and friendly, where else can you sit down for 4 hours straight and eat organic meats for $30?

I purchased a living social deal a while back and I finally made it to Little River to pick them up. Had to freeze them because of holidays and I finally got around to grill 2 ribeyes tonight. These steaks are among the best I've had. Tender, juicy, and incredibly tasteful! Gaucho Ranch will have a repeat customer! If you come across a special, try them out. You won't be disappointed!

Let me start by saying, I am not a carnivore. However, I was quickly converted after finding this little gem at the Pinecrest Farmers Market. Where has this meat been all my life? First off, the meat is grass-fed and imported from Uruguay. Don't get what that means? Thank goodness for the adorable sales girl who explained to me the grass fed difference. Basically, it means no hormones, no anti-biotics, more ultra important Omegas-3s and it is light and less calories. Not to mention, it is flavorful and delicious. Consider me sold! They offer different cuts (the Brazilian delicious cut picanha, New York Strip Steak, and my personal favorite the flavorful rib-eye steak) and sides (organic chorizos and morcillas (blood sausage). All I would recommend in a hear beat and are perfectly packaged and ready to be grilled. I was lucky enough to be invited to their tasting parties ('An intimate grass-fed meat tasting') since I am on their e-mail chain. Stop what your doing and sign up for that. Perfect event to do something new and different with your weekend. Nice ambiance and informative, you can feel the owners true passion for the grass-fed meat experience. There was also a lively cook, who made my evening fun and memorable. This is a don't miss type of event. Thank you Guancho Ranch for introducing me to the grass-fed difference!

It is healthier, It tastes amazing, It is 100% natural and is always, always never frozen... what else can you ask for? If you like meat, Gaucho Ranch is the ONLY way to go... I guaranty that after you try it... there is no way back :) to any other "supermarket" meat. Beside the fact that the product is THE one, you have to have the full experience on site... including the "asados" from Don Julio and Pablo ... you will remember them for ever! ...

The quality of the meat is outstanding. I went for the gaucho day/ full moon party. The gaucho crew were very accommodating. All you can eat arbaco autentico was awesome. Byo wine, and if you run out (it happened to us), there's a solution. What a deal!

When you enter Gaucho Ranch, you enter to purchase sustainably raised grass fed beef or other sustainable meats. When you leave Gaucho Ranch, you leave as a member of a community. Pablo and Valter are not only masterminds when it comes to sustainable meats and meat products, but are also wine, cheese and food experts. Their charming smiles, helping hands, and top notch service are the treasure of the Little River District and I will be returning for years to come.

This is a great little meat market/grilling store in Little River. While the location is perhaps not ideal, this place is a real gem. The owner Pablo, has done up his little warehouse space in a really inviting fashion. The interior modern and clean and filled with Uruguayan and Argentinian items for sale, not to mention the giant stainless steel refrigerators that hold the precious meat. Everything you need for grilling is right in this shop from fuel (natural lump charcoal and even cords of seasoned hardwood) to the parilla. I've got a couple of grills already though, so I come here for the meat. Gaucho Ranch specializes in grass feed beef, but it also carries pork, chicken and turkey. The prices are little more than what you'd spend at super market (but probably as much or less than whole foods depending on what you get), but needless to say the quality is higher and there is a really good selection. I've come here on a couple of different occasions and I've sampled the skirt steak, the morcilla (they have an excellent brand of blood sausages, I assume from Uruguay, but the best I've had), ground beef, ground pork, and the poussin. I have to say I am really impressed they have poussin (young chicken). They are about $7.50 each and each bird serves one, but they are amazingly tender and easy to cook (and hard to find). They are perfect for a special dinner quick. My wife and I bought 4 of the little birds and ate them for dinner two nights this week. Pablo the owner is super friendly and Gaucho Ranch even delivers (Tuesday and Wednesdays I think), so that's an option if you live far away. They have a great website and basically what you see on the website is what they have in store.

Love this place! I got a brisket here and it was so so good. The staff was friendly and helpful and selection was awesome. Definitely plan to go again.

A friend of mine who is a big meat eater, like myself, had told me about gaucho ranch. He told me they have great meat and they throw a little get together once a month or so to showcase their beef and have a cookout. I was game so I got myself on the email list and I was sent an invite. I went and got to sample lots of meat that night. I got some ribeyes and some chimichurri from them for the 4th of July. I marinated them in the chimmi the night before and grilled them up the next day. they were great and the chimichurri they make there is awesome. full of garlic with a great bite to it. Their sausage is great too. If you get on their facebook, they have specials all the time and their mailing list. It's a fair price for the quality you get. I'm not going to say I get all my meat from there. But, I will say that when it counts, that's when I get it. when I want a really good meal or when I'm having friends over, I'll make sure to get it from them. It's a treat and it's nice to see someone promoting healthy quality beef. It's even good for the cows. Everybody wins (: So, Check them out. it's worth it.

These steaks are amazing. They were delivered as advertised and tasted wonderful. The price is high but worth it.

It's sort of difficult to find at first, its located in that last lot towards the back. Thankfully, there was a crate with a bunch of boxes that said 'Uruguay', which led to the right location. Inside, they have a shelf full of Argentine products, such as mate gourds, Yerba mate, Organic mate, etc. Behind their table sits a cooler with some of the best beef in the world - straight from Uruguay. * FYI, all of their beef is from Uruguay, which means one thing: GRASS-FED. * We went on a Friday afternoon, there was a young girl there who showed us a menu of all ther meat products - they have free-range, Organic chicken, too. I came during Labor day week, so there was a special going on for 20-25% off all their meat products. It was a nice gift for my dad, who being Uruguayan, brought him a little closer to home. I can't make asados, but I have a Foreman, which means I'll return for ground beef so I can make hamburgers. What can I say, I'm no Gaucho - I've been Americanized to the point where I'll throw beef in the microwave. In all seriousness, check out Gaucho - it's greaaaaaaat!

No need for speciality meat products to be shipped in any longer, Hooray! My son EXCLAIMED ADAMANTLY that the NY Strip I made last night was "THE BEST EVER" (he is 14 , we are carnivores and I'm a grill master)!!! He also devoured 5 lamb chops down to the bare bone this evening(nothing left for me to nibble off) Ha! Glad I made both halves, that picture is the last bit left. They attacked it before I could take the master pic. My daughter wants a steak tartare next week so I'll be back. I got a rabbit for Sunday Stew and 5 new cheeses for a charcuterie platter. We went recently to a tasting event in Gaucho Ranch, it was absolutely amazing. Grass fed beef has a distinctive flavor from non grass fed beef. The environment is just perfect after a long day at work .We tried several different cuts of natural beef including rib eye and picanha. Be sure to order a great bottle a wine like a Malbec from Argentina. The owner is very knowledgable and will tell you the best way to cook it. I recommend you check it out.

This amazing grill boutique sells all grass fed organic meats, poultry, pork, lamb, eggs etc. They have all your grilling needs from charcoal, salt, knives, mate tea, and you can also pick up wines, cheese and dulce de leche. This is an "asado" paradise not only for the health conscious carnivores, but all BBQ enthusiasts. The Valter and Pablo are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you fancy a great steak like I do, this is the place!

Amazing quality and service! we recently found out about this place and we are for sure buying our meat here now! The owner is really nice and takes time with each customer to make you feel you are really in a meat "boutique". We tried the NY strip, the sirloin strip and the chorizo on the grill, AMAZING! 100% recommended!

If you've been off the meat wagon, and feeling like you'd like to get back on...this is it. Gaucho Ranch's Organic Grass fed beef is the yummiest and cleanest meat in town. All the beef comes from Uruguay, and is totally ORGANIC & GRASS-FED. Its the only meat I eat. If you're like me and very conscious about what you eat, you'll appreciate the high standards held by this company. Pablo, GR's owner is very passionate about his beef. I recently attended an "Asado Tasting", which is held at the end of each month...I highly recommend swinging by this "meat boutique", you'll be glad you did!

This beef is no joke. If you want the very best, then come here. I bought a tenderloin and took it home today and my wife said it was some of the best beef ever. Incredible. I am going back to get a lot more. Expensive? Yes. But, supermarket prime beef can not compare.
