Gaucho

We had a fantastic dinner at Restaurant Gaucho. The wood-fired barbecue was full of rich, smoky flavors, and every entrée was perfectly prepared. Great selection of wines, too! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. A truly enjoyable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

If you’re a fan of high-quality meat, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Located in the heart of Zurich, right in Kreis 4, it combines great food with an incredible atmosphere. Inside, the restaurant is stunningly stylish – modern and chic, yet cozy enough to make you feel at home the moment you step in. Outside, there’s a charming courtyard in the back that’s perfect for enjoying a meal. It’s incredibly inviting, especially for a relaxed dinner for two. The quiet, peaceful setting makes it the ideal spot to unwind, far from the hustle and bustle, yet still very much in the city. The team is friendly, professional, and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe. The owner’s warm hospitality makes the whole experience even more special. As for the food, it’s simply fantastic. The quality of the meat is outstanding, and they get the grilling just right every time – something that’s often hard to find. The homemade Chimichurri, available in both mild and spicy versions, is a perfect complement to the meal. In short, this restaurant offers a perfect combination of amazing food, exceptional service, and a beautiful atmosphere both inside and out. If you find yourself in Zurich, particularly in Kreis 4, this place is definitely worth a visit.

My friend and I had a great evening dinner at Gaucho in a pleasant atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed and promptly seated, with the option to choose our preferred table. There was no noticeable waiting time, as we were immediately introduced to the menu and the restaurant’s concept. On that day, the side dish options were limited; we couldn’t choose between French fries or mashed potatoes. The food was delicious, from the starter we shared to the main course and dessert. The atmosphere was enjoyable; we could hear each other and have a conversation without any difficulty. The service was excellent as well. The waitress and her colleagues were always attentive and ready to assist. It was my first time dining at an Argentinian restaurant, and I truly enjoyed the experience.

This was my top steak house 2023 (3 times), I lost a fortune there but was worth each dime. It is a bit hard to find, has a living room atmosphere. the menu is very small .. not much to choose .. but the meat was tasty and as tender as butter - a true delight! Service was good.

We came earlier than the restaurant opened and were invited in despite that. The staff were very homely, friendly and patient. The food was also amazing, especially the chocolate cake. A wonderful experience overall!

Great steaks, amazingly soft and tasty. Nice starters. Friendly service. Menu is very short and doesn’t leave alternatives to the customer, especially for the side dish. Potatoes served with an extremely heavy cheddar sauce. Tasty, but really heavy

The place is very welcoming, the owners are great, wine selection from argentina is on point. Always make their best to find us a place during the weekend. Steak is one of the bests in Zurich! Highly Recommended
