I went here because I was just wandering before my check in time and I saw the Michelin guide plaque. Little did I know it would be the best food I’ve had so far backpacking in Italy. They were so kind in speaking english, and the chef recognized I was a cook as well and loved talking about food and the dishes. Thank you chef Ansel! I got the menu that the chef gets to pick and was not disappointed. They paired a very nice white with the lunch that went with everything. It was my first time having sweetbreads and I wouldn’t have chosen any other way to experience it than what Ansel had prepared. The service was amazing. They recognized I was American and since I was the only one in the restaurant, they changed the music to country, which I love. If you are visiting Torino, please come here, €60 for a moose Boosh, 3 courses, and a dessert with a glass of of wine. Worth. Every. Penny.
