Gaviidae Common

Mini shopping center downtown Minneapolis. Mostly just a place to walk around on the skywalk taking you to the Wells Fargo Center, RBC Plaza, IFS Center, and City Center. Again not much happening other than Walgreens. Was one of my favorite shopping spots years ago.

Gaviidae Common looks absolutely beautiful this Christmas season! The holiday decorations and music create such a warm and festive atmosphere. It’s a great spot to visit, shop, or just soak in the holiday spirit. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in downtown Minneapolis!

Nice area to connect to stores and businesses. Using the sky walk to get here and explore was fun for us visiting the city!

Will go back to actually spend some money. Very inviting atmosphere.

The Gaviidae will never be the same without the restaurants that were on e in there. I'm so sad. Please bring back the restaurants back 🥺

One of my favorite building in downtown Minneapolis. Why? Because it's so damn beautiful. Recent renovations really made the ground floor pop. Nice shops and a YMCA located in the building.

Parked our car for about 90 minutes while visiting City Center. Their parking rate was $35 for those 90 minutes! Call me crazy, but that's A LOT for a mere hour and a half. I would suggest finding somewhere else to park your car in downtown Minneapolis. Security officer wasn't very helpful either. The building also doesn't seem well maintained.
