"Pizzamanina Pizza We love Cuban pizza for its fluffy crust and that golden brown ring of toasted cheese, but sometimes we do miss those fancy toppings you find at more upscale pizzerias. That’s why the day we found out about Pizzamanina’s namesake pie was one of the happiest days for us (and our stomach) in recent memory. This pizza has the same crust and crown of crispy cheese that we love with the addition of prosciutto, blue cheese, and bacon. It’s a combination that would be too strong on a paper-thin crust, but it’s perfect on thicc Cuban crust. Sometimes separate things you love can come together. "This spot is located in a strip mall on an industrial-looking street in Hialeah. You're coming here for their signature pizzamanina pizza. This is the fanciest Cuban pizza we’ve encountered in Miami: prosciutto, blue cheese, and bacon under a blanket of mozzarella and gouda. The crust is a little thinner than some of the puffed-up pizzas cubanas in town—which means you won’t be too full to also order their guava pizza featuring a smear of guava paste instead of red sauce. If that weren’t enough to make you come here, there’s a busty mannequin in the dining room sitting down to her own box of pizza that you can pose with for photos along with a mini “brinca brinca” (AKA a trampoline) for the kids." - yuliet llanes, carlos c olaechea
