"In a quiet side street in the Krutenau quarter, this restaurant has an intimate feel. Chef Alexy Fuchs serves contemporary cuisine (langoustine, apple salad and mustard ice, or scallops, sweet potato, crispy ravioli and bisque emulsion) with the odd nod to Alsace, as in the foie gras terrine with fruit chutney and dampfnudel. Service is particularly charming." - Michelin Inspector

Excellent service and food. Highly recommend. Our host was most accommodating. The service was on point with friendly and attentive wait staff. Our first meal in Paris we definitely were not disappointed and they set the bar high. Thank you so much for a lovely experience.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The onion soup was the standout for me, truly the best I’ve ever had. The meat was incredibly tender, melting in the mouth with every bite. The service was excellent, and the staff were attentive, and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good restaurant.

Gavroche… what can I say. We travelled for 2 weeks thru Europe and this was a top 3 meal for me. The owner welcomed us in and served us. We shared a beautiful bottle of wine and each ordered an appetizer. I had French onion soup and my husband had snails. This might be the best FO soup I’ve had in my life .🤤 For entrees, I had beef bourguignon and my husband had lamb shank. Everything was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were incredible. Please try this place!!

This place is amazing. Terrific food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. The chef even came out to accept compliments on the food. Meanwhile we found the pricing Very Reasonable. Our group ordered everything from duck, chicken and even a burger, all were outstanding. My wife considers herself a cheesecake connoisseur 😁 and commented. "This is the best cheesecake I've ever had!". We were staying at the little hotel next door. Unfortunately discovered this treasure on our last night. Keep up the great work guys. If we ever make it back to Paris from the Bahamas we'll see you again 😁

Ate here around Christmas. Although the restaurant is more authentic than a lot of the others in the area, we still left a bit disappointed, due to the eclectic service, the quality to price ratio and the French cuisine offerings. Although a nice restaurant, the food was great, but not amazing for the price it demanded.

We stumbled across this charming restaurant during our last night in Paris. The decor was unique, the staff welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed a delicious meal.

I had lunch at this restaurant and ordered the onion soup as a starter, followed by the souris d’agneau and entrecôte. While the quality of the food was decent, it wasn’t exceptional. The restaurant has a vintage French countryside theme, which may appeal to some, but personally, I found the old wooden smell overwhelming and unpleasant. It really detracted from the experience for me. If you enjoy rustic vibes, this might suit your taste, but the smell made it hard for me to fully enjoy my meal.

Horrible experience, and less than average quality of food. Would NEVER return, and would suggest that others stay away. I came here on a Wednesday night around 6:30PM, just after opening time. Ordered an onion soup, and a beef bourginon. Had very high expectations as I saw a post on social media, plus the Google ratings are high. Here’s my highlights: 1. Wait staff was rude, not personable, and extremely unpleasant.. our server was an older man and I really hope he isn’t the owner.. 2. Staff was a quick to dish us out food that I assume was leftover from the day before, and just reheated in the microwave.. Food arrived cold, but I didn’t complain bc I could only imagine what the rude waiter would’ve responded.. 2. The carrots in the beef bourginon were black (not orange like all the other pics posted in the reviews), I could barely tell it was a carrot, plus there was only one carrot and one mushroom 4. Half the meat was fat, and once again, appeared to be leftover and reheated from the day before 5. The onion soup had ZERO taste. The broth was clear, and didn’t have the normal caramelized onion brown tint. I had to add half the container of SALT to the soup bc it lacked so much flavor! (I never add salt to any restaurant dishes).. I wouldn’t even call it soup.. I would rather call it soaked onion water. There was barely any cheese on top, and once again it appears this was reheated in a microwave bc even the normally crisp bread that’s supposed to top an onion soup was basically dissolved into crumbs Forewarning, please stay away from this restaurant. After we paid and left, I revisited the reviews and realized that 90% of the reviewers are probably friends or family of the restaurant. I didn’t get a good vibe from this restaurant, the food was lacking so much flavor, and you can tell they use MSG to try and kick up the taste on the bourginon, but all it did was make the beef taste overly salt and unappetizing. Not worth the time or money.
