15 of New Orleans’ Best Bloody Marys | Eater New Orleans

"Home of the quite addictive ice cream daiquiri, the Gazebo is an ideal spot to fuel up before strolling along the river or in the Quarter. Order from the window - just follow the sound of the whirring blenders - or sit a spell and slurp an excellent bloody mary along with plates of New Orleans specialties, like red beans and rice and jambalaya." - Beth D’Addono

The Bloody Mary was quite righteous. The cheese fries were...cheese fries. In looking at the other food that was served, I would not necessary recommend this place if you are looking for authentic or "experience" NOLA food. However, it works for quick or snack food. I cannot speak to all bands but we saw this band twice. They were terrific! Please tip your music providers.

Stopped by the Gazebo Café on a Friday morning and it was the perfect start to the day. The live music was fantastic—classic New Orleans sound with tons of soul and energy. I ordered a pickle Bloody Mary, and wow… it was excellent. Just the right amount of spice, perfectly chilled, and that pickle garnish gave it a fun, tangy kick. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with great people-watching and plenty of shade. Highly recommend if you’re looking to enjoy some live music, strong drinks, and good vibes in the heart of the French Quarter.

Google
Terrible, horrendous service. Ridiculously long wait. Sat down at 11 am, waited an hour and twenty minutes and still barely had our food. Waitstaff was inattentive and provided no information on our food. Music was great though. we really waited an hour and twenty minutes and paid 25 dollars (for each sandwich) and that’s what we got?? really?? horrible experience: would rate 0/5 if i could.

Before I begin, I'm a lifelong New Orleans resident and I have been blessed to know good, authentic New Orleans cuisine. With that being said, this place isn't it. If you're a tourist, you'll probably like this place because you have no clue what good New Orleans food is or should be. I made the mistake of giving this place a try despite everything in my being telling me otherwise. I took a chance on the sampler of jambalaya, red beans and rice and gumbo. The jambalaya tasted like an entire salt shaker had been dumped in it. The red beans and rice had no taste, flavor or spice in it at all. The gumbo was a bit salty too but not nearly as bad as the jambalaya. All 3 were total garbage and an embarrassment to good New Orleans food. The service was junk too. I was passed by a 4 different wait stuff several times with no greeting, no introduction, no menu. And no, they weren't busy. I FINALLY had to ask a person bussing tables if I could get a menu to which he promptly brought over. He was an older gentleman and the only highlight of this encounter. I'll never be back and I'll leave it for the clueless tourists who think they're eating good food.

Google
This was a nice place to sit and eat down in the French quarter. They had live music there which was great as well as some really tasty food. We tried alligator bites for the first time and glad we got to try them from here. It is somewhat off putting that this place has such a large square of the quarter and will literally kick you out of a seat if you have outside food. They say it’s for cross contamination reasons but we legit saw people walking their dogs through there while people were eating. The tables are also pretty small even for a group of three. I will end on a great note of their fantastic ice cream daiquiris. Must buy!

Google
Such a fun atmosphere with live music, outdoor seating, attentive staff, and amazing food and drinks. The Gumbo is top notch!

Google
Great service! Great atmosphere! Great band! Decent food! The crab kickers & craw puppies were really good! However we ordered wings & unfortunately they weren’t completely done! The waitress was really nice about it & apologized! However when she brought them back we could tell that some had been re-dropped with the new wings because they were overcooked & inedible. Other than the wings debacle we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Yelp
The Gazebo Cafe and its ice cream daiquiris have been at French Market ever since I can remember. There is something comforting to return to NOLA and seeing that the Gazebo Cafe is still there. The ice cream daiquiris are Hubby and I's favorite. We grab a drink, take a seat, and enjoy the live music. This is New Orleans.

Yelp
Where do I start? It's summer in Louisiana which means that it's hot so I was looking for a place that I could get out of the heat. I came across The Gazebo which had a lot of shade and fans to move the air. I took a seat and there was a live band which added that little extra touch. The service was quick. Our server was friendly and took good care of us. I had the crawfish casserole with chicken and sausage gumbo on top which I had never heard of before. Oooooh lala! It was a winner. My friend had French fries with cheese and gumbo on top which is something else that I had not had. Another ooooooooh lala! This was a wonderful and taste filled experience down in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It's casual and definitely worth trying.

Yelp
I have passed this establishment many times during previous trips to New Orleans! My friend wanted to rest as we had been walking around for about 5,000 steps in the area! We stopped here because the band was playing and we needed a refreshing drink! My friend got the Rum Runner and she enjoyed and I shared the drink with/her! The service was adequate to be a busy outdoor cafe!
google avatar

Angel L.

Yelp
This was our first meal on our trip after landing in New Orleans and it definitely hit the spot! We grabbed some gumbo fries and it was so flavorful. The gumbo was very well seasoned, the chicken wasn't dry and each ingredient seemed to hold its own flavor. Yum. The live music was a bit loud but definitely added to the ambiance. It was a little confusing at first, we weren't sure if there was a specific spot we were supposed to go to to get seated. It seemed like the servers kind of just swam around the crowd of people asking if they wanted a seat. If you have cash, great, if not there's a small fee!

Yelp
Great daiquiris, blended to perfection. Walk up to the window, place your drink order and head out with a delicious daiquiri. I tried the orange creamsicle is was so good, reminded me of a push up pop, loaded! Service was great! There's seating right outside, you can be seated, and enjoy some delicious food from the cafe menu or head out for a stroll and sip in the French Market!

Yelp
Great spot to sit outside and enjoy the courtyard and live music. They are famous for their icecream daiquiris. The servers were running around like crazy and working so hard to keep up with such a busy weekend being the French Quarter Fest. Loved it! Would come back.

Yelp
We previously stopped here before and enjoyed this however times have changed. The southern hospitality is still there, wait staff tries to accommodate. The drink orders not so much, not sure if the assumption is that customers are tipsy to not know any better. Whiskey Amaretto Sour drink is a no go here, first time was so bad couldn't drink it. Second was manageable to consume esp with tourist prices. Now the alligator portions have dwindled in size & were a bit chewy.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered a muffuletta and some ice cream daiquiris. The food and drinks were good. The service was super slow. If you are not ready to sit for awhile, choose someplace else. The live band was nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by for drinks after hearing the live music down the street. They have a patio that's enclosed with clear tarp with a lot of seating. Good for group of 4-5 max per table. The menu has a bunch of cool options for drinks- both alcoholic and non alcoholic (like spiked hot chocolate, coffee&liquor drinks, drinks with ice cream, etc.) They also have a food menu with sandwiches and appetizers. When we sat down, a waiter came by immediately to take our order and was super nice!! The band was playing songs from a variety of decades and genres, with some jazz improv in between. The weather was cold and rainy, but the enclosed space and heaters made it super manageable! Will have to come back and try their food at another time! It's also located next to the french market if you want to shop amd support local artists!

Alessa B.

Yelp
Nice live cover band. We ordered to-go and it took forever! We saw other customers who were seated after us get their food prior to us. We had to ask the waitress how much longer the wait. Would have preferred they inform us instead of having to ask. Food was OK. Po'boy needed more sauce, the lettuce was old and soggy. Fried chicken sandwich was OK. Alligator sausage sandwich was flavorful.

Yelp
My favorite place in NOLA! What's not to love? I'm a sucker for live music and open seating. Plus the food is amazing & memorable. We ordered red beans & rice, gumbo, and ice cream daiquiris. Everything was so good! I could've hung out here eating and drinking all day. It's definitely a place that I plan to stop off at if ever passing through NOLA again.
google avatar

Yelp
A mixed group of adults and teens were here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Wait staff was friendly and efficient and had great recommendations. I enjoyed the live music and strong to-go drinks.
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
Really glad we stopped for a drink! We were served quickly at the bar by a friendly staff member. It's a very low key, casual atmosphere and they have open outdoor seating and also have wait staff. There's lots of drink options and although we did not eat during our visit, the menu options looked good. We highly enjoyed the awesome live music.
google avatar

Yelp
Exhausted after a long day of different music venues with the sun beating down on me, a strawberry daiquiri with ice cream seemed to be just what I needed. Plus, they had seating and a 4 piece band entertaining us (trombone, banjo, string bass, drums). Got my daiquiri at the walk up window and it was delicious! Unbenpunced to me, they have table service and a kitchen. A very friendly gentleman brought me a tasty half muffalatta. And another daiquiri. Prices were good, the service was fine, and the music was great!
google avatar

Sulian W.

Yelp
Walked by and saw on a big sign "the original ice cream daiquiri". It sounded delicious so we knew we had to try it out. It's the smallest hole in the wall. It's placed conveniently near a band that plays on the stage so it draws a lot of attention. The service was great, she was very helpful, and recommended some of the flavors that she liked or were popular. It was pretty quick and we got it before we knew it. Before we knew it, there was about 10 people behind us waiting to order. We ordered the Peach and Pina Colada. The peach was delicious, it was so creamy and had great flavor. It almost tasted like a peach ring. The pina colada tasted like a pina colada. We got them Virgin and they were delicious, so I can ONLY imagine what it would be like with some alcohol! Highly recommend this place, get the peach daiquiri!

Yelp
I worked at Gazebo Cafe for last six months, so I am a bit biased, but will share the best and the brightest on the Menu and from the Bar to highlight the best way to enjoy yourselves while enjoying the Live Music at The Gazebo. I can now write this review, because I don't work at Gazebo anymore. I still have a lot of Great Friends there, so like I said, I am a bit biased, but this review is fact based for the most part. People go to Gazebo to have FUN, and few restaurants and bars can say this with a straight face. I always felt this was an interesting part of being a customer at Gazebo. The expectation of having FUN, while eating and drinking.... The Live Music is always on point. Jimmy Ballero, David Mahoney, and Andy(on Bass) always get the energy pumping Friday thru Monday from 10 to 2 pm. TimeZone comes on at 2 pm to keep Gazebo rocking until 6 pm. Gazebo is famous for their Frozen Ice Cream Daiquiri's, and for good reason!! I tend to see the Gazebo Cafe Frozen Daiquiris in 2 categories, "Refreshing, and Desserty" Strawberry, Pina Colada, Peach, Mango, Banana are all some of the most refreshing choices on the Menu. Ask for The Miami Vice, which is 1/2 Pina Colada, and 1/2 Strawberry, and pretty as can be. Peach and Strawberry are probably the top sellers, and most refreshing, but all the Daqs at Gazebo put smiles on faces. In the Desserty category are the Banana Split, the Grasshopper, the Mudslide, and the Mocha Almond Freeze. These are all poured into Hershey Syrup Lined To Go Cups, so while refreshing, also good for those with sweet tooth. The Mudslide is most popular in this zipcode. Gazebo has talented bartenders. Ask them to make any drink, and they will be able to handle your request almost all the time. They do a great Hurricane, a GREAT Long Island Tea, and extra shots are only $5(Makes sense just to make them all doubles at Gazebo!!) On to the MENU.... Top Dogs on the Appetizer side of things!! The Gator Bites, and the Gumbo Fries. Each for a different reason. The Gator Bites are just melt in your mouth Delicious. Gazebo's Gator Bites might be best in the City. Try them with Remoulade, and Cocktail Sauce, or NAKED and you will end up with the same result.. a Great Big Smile originating from your Belly. The Gumbo Fries, gets you the best of a few worlds.. U get Fries, U get Cheese Melted on those Fries, and then you get Gumbo Poured on top of those Cheese Fries, for what amounts to be a Big Easy Poutine of sorts. The Gumbo Fries is a great item to share with table mates. on $10 or so. SALADS... Gazebo always outperformed in the Salad Department, their Gazebo Salad is almost too big for it's own good. But it's presented in the most aesthetic manner, and all those aesthetics are chopped bacon, and cheese, and red onions. The Caesar Salad is once again a big Portion, 2 can share it easily, but I guess I saw a single person take it down a few time. Tony's Greek Salad is a customer favorite. The olives, the Feta, it's all in there, but remember to get some extra Vinaigrette(Italian) on the side(Thank Me Later) ENTREES If you are not in the Mood for a Po Boy at Gazebo, then I would go right to the Combo Platter, the Shrimp Platter, and the Catfish Platter. Though for the right customer, you might just order the Appetizer Sampler(Fried Gator, Fried Crawfish Tails, Fried Popcorn Shrimp) as your Entree. The Fried Seafood at Gazebo Cafe is GREAT!! 12 Shrimp on the Shrimp Platter, a Stack of Seafood on the Combo Platter, and 3 Nice Catfish Filets on the Catfish Platter. If you are in the Mood for a Po Boy, I think that the Shrimp, Catfish, and Roast Beef with Gravy Po Boys would be at the top of my list for best Po Boys at Gazebo. It's OK to get the Gravy on the side of the Roast Beef Po Fo Sho!! Ewe do You. Last but far from least, is a CHEESEBURGER that is at the top of the heap in the city. Gazebo has a well seasoned grill, that flame broils the burgers while they cook. The result is one of the Tastiest Burgers in the City. I used to eat a few burgers a week at Gazebo, and it was because they were so Good!! Pure Yum. If you like great Live Music, Blues/Rock and Roll, and tasty food, and cold drinks, and you are near the FRENCH MARKET, just follow your ear to the MUSIC near 1000 DECATUR, and you will find The Gazebo Cafe. Have FUN!!

Yelp
Gumbo fries were delicious! If you're looking for a light refreshing drink, i would recommend a lemonade spritzer. We also had their Bloody Mary came with olives, onion, and green beans. There's always live music!
google avatar

Syrita P.

Yelp
I stopped here for a drink and to get out of the heat on a Sunday afternoon. They had a live band playing that had the crowd singing and clapping. The bar service was mediocre. The cashier was not very pleasant, and my drink was weak. I gave them four stars because of the location and band. I also observed a bustling wait staff that even checked in on me a couple of times.

Elle L.

Yelp
Great outdoor patio. Live music. Wonderful Bloody Mary's. I love the pickled green beans & olive garnish! This is our favorite place to stop when we go to NOLA.
google avatar

Mae O.

Yelp
Hurricane and piña colada frozen ice cream daiquiri! I want another frozen ice cream daiquiri! I'm sure all of them taste good. A yummy refreshing treat as you walk around in the humid heat. You could also stick around and listen to the live band. So fun!
google avatar

Tara K.

Yelp
It was raining, so we stopped by to sit and have a drink while listening to some live music. We both ordered a bloody Mary, they were really good and topped with lots of garnish including olives, a cocktail onion and of course pickled green beans here in Nola. It's nice to just sit and rest a bit with a cocktail and enjoy some live music.
google avatar

Nina O.

Yelp
Awesome place to pause & order a refreshing drink from their walk-up window. I'm not much of a drinker (I know, then what am I doing in NoLa?! Uhm, enjoying the vibes obviously!) but I really enjoyed the piña colada frozen ice cream daiquiri. SO. GOOD. Awesome place to enjoy a live band as well!
google avatar

Linda R.

Yelp
Stopped in for a Gazebo (premium) Bloody Mary, and crab kickers (fried crab cake balls) and onion rings. Crab was good, like deviled crab in a hushpuppy form and most likely pre made frozen product. Onion rings were crunchy and good but the spoiler was the Bloody Mary drinks, which was purpose for coming here. The mixer tasted like plain tomato juice with no seasoning at all - the vodka was the only thing you could taste. With so many great places to enjoy a Bloody Mary - skip this one and order a draft Abita instead. Service was slow but friendly wait staff.

Yelp
Worst experience in #NewOrleans hands down. Manager is a nightmare and clearly in the wrong industry. We saw the signs that said "no outside food" BUT the woman who made our drinks at the stand AND the server who brought us our menus said we were fine to have half our party eat the sandwhich we brought with us (together with drinks and sides we were ordering from them) while the other half ordered exclusively from them. We would never have assumed it was ok had two people not given permission!!! After we were seated, the manager came out and began verbally and publicly berating us. We explained that two of her employees had given permission but she only grew more confrontational. We left and sat in the park and about five minutes later she left her business to follow us and asked us to identify her two employees. Given how inappropriate she was with us, we refused so as not to shift her ire to them. Sad. She was absolutely awful and her behavior was inexcusable.
google avatar

J A.

Yelp
I only had a drink but it was so yummy! The bartender was sweet and made the drink in front of me and quickly. I sat down and listened/watched to the live music. It's a great place to hang out with some friends and have some Good drinks. I think the drinks are reasonably priced. I had the chi chi which is pretty much a piña colada but with vodka and icecream. It was so good!

Hilary H.

Yelp
My husband and I are visiting from New Mexico. Today we enjoyed music, delicious drinks, and great conversation with the most wonderful server, Morgan, during the French quarter fest. She chose what might be my new favorite drink-the dreamcicle ice cream daiquiri. We'll definitely be back. Thank you, Morgan!

Yelp
We arrived in New Orleans for a much-needed long weekend and our flight arrived very early. Since we couldn't check in until 3 o'clock, we decided to wander down to the French market and look around. We had every intention of going to the famous coffee and beignet place, but a cruise ship had let loose and the line was half way to Texas. So we decided to start grazing as is our want when we are in town. This neat little café is an outdoor restaurant with seating sort of scattered around a patio. They had live music and that is always a plus. We decided to order a half of a muffaletta sandwich and an order of crawfish puppies along with a margarita and a beer. We have probably had better muffaletta sandwiches before, but after having been on the plane since four in the morning and we were very hungry, this place really did the trick. Margarita was excellent and anytime I can get a Abita on tap it's a good day. As I have said so often before in my reviews, I rate the restaurants on what they are trying to be. This place is trying to be a sandwich place that you can eat outside and listen to jazz music and I would say they do pretty well. May be a little on the pricey side, but it is in the main tourist area and as I said earlier, cruisers were infesting the neighborhood!

Yelp
Our waiter was awesome!! The best service!! The food was fabulous!! Chris cat was our server totally recommend!!

Annie B.

Yelp
That staff are sooooo friendly and the food comes out so quickly! True NOLA flavors and the best frozen drinks in town!! Live bands throughout the day make the experience one to remember!
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Delicious margarita, friendly staff, and had so much fun listening to live jazz! It was super laid back, and nice to just relax in the shade after walking the French Market.

Marisol R.

Yelp
The atmosphere was great, band playing, outdoor environment, good food. What we liked the most was the service, Anthony was awesome, he took care of us 100%. I would definitely go back and ask for Anthony to be our waiter.

Liza L.

Yelp
3 stars for the music only. The food and service here is below average. Go eat elsewhere, but stay for the live music.
google avatar

Matt P.

Yelp
Consume all the fried gator and live music to your heart's content, a little away from the beaten path but still close enough to be an instagram-heavy tourist.
google avatar

Laurel R.

Yelp
We were shopping at the French market and saw the live band and decided to grab one of their daiquiri and some fries to sit and watch for a bit. The peach ice cream daiquiri was so freaking good it tasted like peach rings with icecream. The fries were honestly very good and the waitress was a sweetheart. The live music was great and I love where this is located in the French market.
google avatar

Anthony D.

Yelp
Nice ambiance with live music and a good place to grab a quick bite (especially a muffuletta!) or drink while taking in all that is New Orleans. When we were there, the homeless nearby got a little aggressive with some of the other patrons but didn't come by to bother us and they were generally unassuming. The band plays great music but can get a little in your face with donations at the end of the afternoon when they are done performing for the day.
google avatar

Taneesha H.

Yelp
The food was amazing! My table ordered the gumbo fries which I give a 10/10, gumbo a 10/10, crab cakes 6/10 because it was too soft and a muffuletta a 10:10. We had a waiter name Edwin or something similar but he was amazing you could tell he loves his job because every time I looked at him he was dancing and smiling. The jazz band was there towards the evening and they were pretty good too. Definitely a must try! Follow me on TikTok for more reviews "taneeshanthecity"
google avatar

Devante B.

Yelp
Great live music providing an ambiance with your food and friendly service! Just go ASAP

Jason K.

Yelp
This place did NOT disappoint. Hurricane was "well-oiled", especially for a lunch cocktail. Best muffaleta I have ever had. And the cheese fries? Ridiculous! Must stop!
google avatar

Judy S.

Yelp
The place is located by the French Market. It is a nice open area. A very friendly place. What makes this place nice is the music. The performers play good music. I ordered the Muffuletta. I saw someone ordered it and it looked good and really big. I ordered a half portion. It was still big. I must say . It is a good sandwich. The sandwich was toasted. The sesame seed gave it a great flavor and crunch. The olive flavor was good too. It came with a dip. It tasted like olive oil. It complimented the sandwich great. I had a side of onion rings. The batter used to make them was good. I really liked it. It was with a side of honey mustard. A good sweet mustard. Service was fast. The server was helpful and professional, Edwin T thank you for everything.
google avatar

Deanna D.

Yelp
The Gazebo Cafe is an awesome vibe! Live music, great food and strong drinks, what more could you ask for?! Me and a group of friends of mine visited Gazebo during our weekend trip to New Orleans. Unfortunately, we arrived right when they were about it to close, so we didn't get the full experience, but the time we did spend there was awesome! I ordered the crawfish casserole and shared alligators bites with my friend. I promise you, the casserole tasted like Thanksgiving stuffing with an amazing twist! It was quite possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten! The alligator bites were fired perfectly and didn't have the normal chewy consistency that I am used to. New Orleans is very easily a foodie dream! If you're looking for some authentic creole cuisine, add Gazebo to your list! You will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Melanie D.

Yelp
We were on the way to get coffee from Cafe du Monde, but came across Gazebo Cafe, which I am glad we did! I mean, how could we not stop at the original ice cream daiquiri spot! It's a cute little cafe where they have plenty of seating and a live jazz band that plays. We thoroughly enjoyed our daquiris! Keep in mind, though it is outdoors and we just ordered our drinks at the stand, they do not allow outside food (we were also eating our beignets, lol).

Yelp
Glad we found this little gem. Was a great place to take a break from the heat. We sat under an umbrella and there was a nice breeze. The live music was fabulous. Our server was very kind and attentive. I had a ice cold Corona (beer) and my husband had one of the signature daiquiris / cremesicle - and said it was delicious. He had a big breakfast but I was hungry especially when I saw the guests next to us get their food. I'm a vegetarian and asked our server if I could do the muffuletta sandwich without meat. He quickly went to check if they had the vegetarian option and they did. I ordered the half sandwich hoping the hubby would help. It was huge. The flavor was fantastic. The bread was soft and warm. It had a couple different cheeses, bell peppers, onion and olives with an Italian dressing on the side that paired perfectly. This was a highlight meal and experience.

Chris D.

Yelp
Ok I will admit I was torn at first checking out this place. My wife wanted a po'boy and I was dead set on a muffalotta. Not many places serve both. Arrived just after 1130am and a live jazz band was smoking hot. It's an outdoor venue so consider the time of year. My wife got a roast beef po'boy with beef gravy, outstanding, I got a little nibble. My muffa was solid and to boot, extra olive sauce. I did a little fried gator as a side also good especially the sauce, just the right bite. I know there are other places that boast better boys and muffas, but you can't go wrong here. Get you bignets and coffee in the am, shop the market and walk the quarter. You will be hungry by then. You will drop back and thank me.

A J.

Yelp
Service was great! Ordered the onion rings bc on the other reviews...YUM! Cheese fries also great! The "trio" of red beans & rice, gumbo and jambalaya is delicious! All this with music, fresh air and fantastic prices!
google avatar

Steffy G.

Yelp
Loved this open outdoor space! We came here a bunch of times if we needed a drink & just wanted to sit around and listen to music for a while. Super casual, everyone was super friendly, and the drinks are quick, easy, and you can take them with you! Fried shrimp & crawfish are a must. The last time we were there I went with the crawfish po boy and I have 0 regrets. It's packed full of seafood and the tangy remoulade that goes with it is perfect. We'll come back every time we're in NOLA!

Deb L.

Yelp
Great Food, Great Location, Great Live Music! Had a couple sampler platters; the alligator sausage was excellent!
google avatar

Melanie C.

Yelp
We've usually stopped here for drinks as we're walking around the Quarter. This place is so much more than a quick drink stop, though the ice cream cocktails are delicious. Try the banana split cocktail! We were looking for a quick nibble and ordered the gumbo fries. They were beyond fantastic, a great gumbo to fries ratio. We needed forks to finish. YUM!!

Mel C.

Yelp
As usual the Gazebo Cafe never fails to please. Our server- wish we'd gotten his name- was super attentive. We only had drinks, but were pleasantly surprised at how often our server checked on us. You can't go wrong stopping here.
google avatar

Karol M.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a drink and a rest in January when other nearby cafes either were overstuffed or had decidedly subpar musical accompaniment. The tight live band and the heaters on the patio first caught our attention. But hey, I think we found the best spot near the square after all. Their Pina Coladas are made with fresh coconut and whipped cream and frankly were some of the best I've tasted anywhere. But on a chilly day, the hot Irish Twins Jameson-based drink totally hit the spot. I would stop in again for that drink alone. We got brave and ordered a sampler platter with fried shrimp, crawfish and alligator. Those last two were not my thing, but definitely satisfied the curiosity of my shopping companions. Service was stellar. Leashed and well behaved dogs are allowed on the patio. The band works for tips and appreciates applause, so please give them plenty of both.

Yelp
Great atmosphere with live music, drinks were good. Food was not. This place is far from 4 stars. Come for a drink, not food.
