I saw the low reviews and was hesitant to try this place but overall I’m very happy that I came in to order. We ordered legume, rice , plantain, soda and pikliz. Everything was delicious. It truly tasted like a home cooked meal. The rice was perfect along with the legume. The service was excellent, the man servicing us was kind and extremely accommodating when we asked to change the rice last minute. Overall, you should give this place a try! You won’t regret it.

The food is absolutely horrible the rice was dry , legume has a weird smell, and the bean sauce was extremely watered down. I stood there for 7 minutes no one came out to help me I had to knock on the kitchen door 3 times before anyone came to take my order $21 down the drain when other restaurants are much cheaper
