Very disappointed by this experience. Had been looking forward to it for quite some time and was celebrating a special occasion… the experience took 3.5 hours and it lacked structure and class.
While all the ingredients were impeccably fresh and high quality (scallops, lobster, caviar and duck to name a few), the chefs tried too hard with plating and combinations often overpowering the ingredients with flavors that hid rather than showcased the produce. We were served our three cold starters over 2 hours… that’s simply not an acceptable pace. At last the main dish was served after 3:10h… COLD! The duck was delicious but how do you serve it cold? When told about it, the waiter simply walked away.
Overall, would not spend this much money for the experience - cheap wine, paired poorly and a long wait for pretentious dishes.
Hire a maitre d and improve service, certainly lots of potential.
