We only had two days in the Amalfi Coast, but somehow managed to make it to Gabriela three times. This was by far the best gelato I had in my two week Europe trip, and trust me, I sampled A LOT of gelato. They easily had over two dozen mouthwatering flavors, as well as cases full of cakes, cookies, gelato tortes, and quite the impressive cheese selection. My absolute favorite was the ricotta and fig gelato - so creamy, rich, and different from any other gelato I've ever tasted. The price isn't bad either, 1.80€ for the small, which comes with two generous scoops. You can also get it as a gelato ice cream sammie with freshly baked brioche. I also had their baba al limoncello on my last visit. Just a word of warning - these are serious strong, but seriously addictive! They're basically little rum soaked pastries, except sub delicious locally made limoncello for the rum, and add gelato and housemade whipped cream. This is not for the faint of heart! Word to the wise, they also sell both the rum and limoncello babas in jars to take home... definitely worth paying the checked luggage fee for these bad boys! They also have a little corner store wall with local limoncellos, jam, oils and vinegars, etc. If you ever visit Naples or the Amalfi coast, it's definitely worth a stop in Vico Equense just for the gelato!
