The 35 Best Restaurants in Cartagena, Colombia | Eater

"When the temperature rises and the beach calls, head to this gelateria near the water. The shop makes all its products from scratch without preservatives or hydrogenated fats. There are more than 100 different scoops, many of them inspired by Caribbean flavors like lulo, Kola Román (a local soda brand), corozo, sour guava, coconut-lemonade, and soursop. Less-tropical options include basil, white chocolate, and stracciatella, and the shop also offers juices, milkshakes, coffee, tea, and brownies. [$ - $$]" - Juliana Duque

Came in the day and was surprised the store was dimly lit with no ventilation. Ice cream choices are diverse but you need to know to ask if you want the sorbets which are in the fridge instead. Prices are great!

My friends and I decided to try this place instead of our usual/preferred places because it was listed as one of the top places to get gelato in the city. The write up also said there were over 100 flavors to choose from (which was not actually the case). I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the location, the staff are friendly and it’s very clean. The rating is more a reflection of the disappointment/misinformation. I don’t think it should stop anyone from trying it if your are in the area. However, I wouldn’t recommend the long walk we did as it’s average in flavors.

2.5 stars! Honestly ice creams are not delicious at all. I tried several flavors then I had to pick something and I tried lemon. People are nice there but it’s not worth it. Sorry

Spacious gelato place with multiple seating options. However, the gelatos are a tad too sweet. We got the banana and caramel flavors and felt that the more popular la paletteria, about a block away, is a better choice.

You must visit this place. The flavours of the ice creams are amazing, traditional fruit from Colombian Caribbean. It's beautiful ❤️ and cozy. You can enjoy a Colombian coffee

This place was a delight. We were well in need of refreshment and we stumbled across this little gem having got 30 mins free roam on our walking tour of the area. Gorgeous Ice Creams and fab coffee with really lovely staff here, it helped that the Wife speaks some Spanish although its easy enough to point. It is all very nicely decorated and well maintained with a lot of charm about it in a shabby chic kind of way. Charming.

Nice place for some ice cream. A good selection of choices - the cafe and chocolate were rich and flavorful. Service was prompt. There are some table and chairs inside.
