Absolutely amazing! The best pizza I've ever had. I've traveled the United States and originally from Atlanta and I have never had pizza this good. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here since yesterday. I left here in disbelief that I found the best pizza in the world. I've contacted some friends about it to let them know. I'm now telling everyone this is the best pizza you can find. The breakfast I had this morning was just as good. You get free coffee that's amazing. If you think about it the breakfast i had was around $6 the coffee is worth that much so it's like getting free breakfast with your coffee. Now to the Cannoli......I have flown to New York for cannoli before. I love them this much. These are better. The best. Some people refer to someone as the man, the myth, the legend. I've came to refer to the person behind this culinary work of art as the deity of the culinary arts. Everything on this menu is a masterpiece. As Poseidon is to the sea and Apollo is to music, Paul Pellegrino is to food. I don't think in a hundred lifetimes I could ever dream up the creations that they serve here. If you believe like I do that love can be shown through food this guy is the Cupid of this industry.

First time in, and we were super impressed. A lil pricey.. but big portions! My husband's veal was pretty tough. I didn't get a picture. I'm from Chicago and give them ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️ for their Italian beef. The giardiniera tastes homemade! My little loved their slice. The pastry we started with was SO good. I believe it was filled with marzipan. I do wish the staff knew a little more about the available items. Service is VERY nice, and willing to go ask themselves, so she absolutely handled it professionally! I swear I saw a Nonna back there🧐

Don't sleep on this place! The food and service is absolutely wonderful. Extremely friendly and kind staff, very thorough with taking orders. I had fettuccine with La Rosa sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! My husband got fettuccine with their white clam sauce, and was very impressed with the taste and presentation with the whole clams. We also both loved the flavorful meatballs. The portions were very sizable, great value for the price! Our to-go food was thoughtfully packaged and labeled. I have gotten their tortellini salad and Gelato previously, and both are delicious and made with care. My only critiques are: I wish they had a space to sit down and eat inside, if so, we'd be there weekly! (This is the only reason for the 4 stars on atmosphere- small space to order inside, so much to look at) They would absolutely crush as the best Italian food in Fort Collins with a sit down restaurant, even it was fast casual. The menu is a bit overwhelming and hard to navigate, but they have so many yummy looking things I want to try next!

Cool little spot. I thought it was just a gelato place, so I hadn't gone in 15 years of living here. Got a pizza coupon so I checked it out. Tons of awesome food options, desserts, and Italian specialties. Will definitely be back!

Their food is very yummy. Just a long wait for the food. Only outdoor patio seating is available. Totally worth the wait.

Wow absolutely delicious gelato! I love that there's both sweet and fruity flavors! They also make sure to have enough variety and types to make it easy to blend complimentary flavors! Originally I was going to do passion fruit and mango but after tasting the marshmallow, birthday cake and marshmallow sounded like the perfect combo! It was fun that the textures are different too so one was light and fluffy and the other was thick and creamy. Highly recommend trying this restaurant!

I've driven past here so many times thinking.... we should stop and try this sometime. So we finally did and it wasn't a let down. I'll be it, my expectations are set quite high so I'm not gonna say anything wild like "this is the best sandwich I've ever had", simply because it isn't. But it was very good!!! The pastrami was on point because there's a lot of places that lack good pastrami. The sandwich had great flavor and the bread was just right. The cannoli was as expected, which I've never had one that wow'd me. The price is definitely up there. Nearly 20 dollars for a sandwich but you have to remember this isn't some fast food joint that mass produces garbage. Plus the staff here is much more personable and friendly than some places. In the end I'd recommend stopping in to grab a bite if you're in the area, I don't think you will regret it.

Easily my favorite restaurant in town. Outstanding quality food. Been a half dozen times or so with my gal and we've ordered something different every time. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I managed fine dining restaurants in Austin for years and it's clear the owner Paul knows what he's doing

I drop in on a weekly basis after suffering through the best Pilates- This little treasure is the closest thing I've found in NoAmerica to legit Italian food. I grab ravi's and another dish (like veg lasagna which I freeze and serve later in the week with a garden grown salad) and am given either a taste of the most incredible gelato or a coffee to go- probably the best food in FoCo. #TheBestItalianInFoCo

I had to give 1 start. I ordered Abruzzi for 18.00. The crust is HORRIBLE i mean I cant even bite and it was hard to peel the crust like rubber. Very shocked. I dont know why they made it like that. Horrible crust and I had to trash them but the topping i love it. I ate only topping. I am surprised the people gave almost 5 stars but the crust? WTH is going on? I ordered the breakfast egg potatoes sandwich and veggies lasagna are the BEST!! 1 start for Abruzzi

We loved our Marguarita and Reuban sandwiches and gelato for dessert. Service helpful from begining selections to completion with dessert. We loved the openair ambiance. It reminded us of a trip to Italy three years ago.

Gelato was fine but the store was cramped and the customer service left us feeling underwhelmed. Could use a friendlier vibe at the counter.

3 of us had sandwiches which were delicious but hard to eat as the bun was cut through and everything was falling out- they resorted to forks. The tuscan bean soup was good and we followed with gelato which was good although pricey for the amount you get. There is outdoor seating only but there was plenty and largely covered.

This place is underrated! They have lots of delicious gelato flavors, and good vegan options. I had the salted caramel and birthday cake flavors, and they were both amazing. They also have savory food items!

This was such a GREAT find! I am GF-DF, but I love meat. The GF-vegan trend is not helpful to me. This deli had compliant food that was so fresh. Plus, they help you with the menu! If you are a gelato lover, the gelato looked wonderful! They didn't have my preferred flavor--Vegan Chocolate, so I passed. If I'm this way again and the weather is right for outdoor seating, I will check for my favorite flavor. I was with a party of 4 and all 4 said their food was delicious!

This was a very cute Italian deli and gelato shop, and it was packed when we visited. We ordered gelato but were a bit disappointed in the flavors. The texture of the gelato was perfect, but none of the flavors we tried tasted very good. The vegan cinnamon tasted like root beer for some reason, and the birthday cake gelato was like eating a spoonful of frosting from the can. Everything we sampled just seemed a bit too sweet and lacked complexity. They were very busy and seem to have many fans, so maybe the gelato just wasn't our preference.

Can't talk about this place enough. Favorite sandwiches in Fort Collins. Great staff and great food.

The food was amazing. The service is always served with a smile. Could not imagine a better ambiance to enjoy this upcoming summer.

Crazy little Italian gelato place. With the makings of a killer Italian deli. Coming from So. Cal. We'd go to Little Italy back in the day. Before it got rejuvenated there were all these little Mom&Pop Italian places that would go back generations. Find a different location and this place could become one of those...

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Come visit Gelato Amore there is so much variety of food and gelato and Paul is an incredible guy that runs this place. The staff is so sweet and cares about their customers and their opinions and is constantly striving to be better. BEST PLACE EVER

I pass this shop on my walks all the time and finally decided to go in and will now for sure be going back. I just got a cup of the gelato (which was great i recommend the pistachio) but the service and employees were incredibly sweet. Such a cute place would highly recommend!

Good food, Lady at the register was super nice. Food was quick, got a pasta and chicken dish it was great. Also the gelado is very good

This is a long overdue review- the folks at Gelato & Amore have no only amazing gelato but also THE BEST Italian delicacies in Colorado... bold statement, but from a East Coast Paisano who stumbled out to Colorado 30+ years and has searched far and wide for so many of the items in this little shop full of Italian love. First - the pizza is amazing - Chef Paul and his team knock thier version of thin pizza out of the park. The egg plant and meatballs are top quality as well - whether on a hoagie sandwich or as a plate you cannot go wrong with either. This brings me to the Italian Beef sandwich - I know it's from Chi Town but the best of the best can't compete with this version. Cannoli! Yes - delightful... imported cheeses and meats - fill the cold cut cases - too many amazing things to list - do yourself a favor if you even think you may be part Italian or are a lover of all things Italian ... get in there and bring something home! Tell them Lil Joe sent you!

Wow what a pleasant surprise. Fort Collins is lacking in authentic Italian places. This place is so yummy and hits the spot. We will be back!! We got the cold Italian sub and meatball sub, along with a sfogliatelle. Everything was so delicious!

Such a sweet family and the gelato was incredible. Best I've had in the states! Also enjoyed a delicious kraut and ground beef pastry with horseradish. highly recommend !

Not what I expected but it was delicious! I wish I had an Italian friend to walk me through everything they have and to tell me what to get. I got the gelato but they have deli meat, and dishes, and more! No indoor seating though.

Omg, the food and service are phenomenal! I was not expecting food on the this level. The eggplant parm sandwich is to die for.

We love this place! My favorite is the Baked Rigatoni and the carrot cake! The pizzas are great as well as the pasta combos. Make sure you get some gelato too! Being near City Park, it's nice to have a walk with the fam with gelato around the little lake.

Everything was great. I had linguine and Rosa sauce, with garlic bread and a gelato bambino appetizer! Yes, eat dessert first. The portion was enough for me for two meals and was delicious. I will definitely go again before the end of my trip and definitely recommending to my FoCo family and friends. Also great grab and go case. I want amore!

I have a tradition of having my favorite dessert on my birthday, chocolate cheesecake. I need good, high-quality cheesecake (not Cheesecake Factory). I am new to the area and had to find a new place. Gelato & Amore did not disappoint. The cheesecake was fantastic!! I am looking forward to trying more from this restaurant.

Real deal, Italian deli (owner Paul actually came from my hometown of Nutley, NJ). Beside the great gelato (BTW 2 flavors are vegan) they have some incredible Italian delicacies including sandwiches, soups, pasta, and pastries. They also do a fantastic catering business and the staff is super nice. There is a lot to love (amore) about this place besides the gelato. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic gelato. We tried the strawberry and birthday cake flavors. Both were so tasty! We also tried two individual slices of pizza - the cheese and the Giardiniera. Loved the crust and the toppings. Some of the best in FoCo in my opinion. The staff and owner were also very friendly!

Friends, Fans, Folks of Fort Collins, You gotta try Gelato and Amore!!! This right here is the REAL DEAL. I'm come from a New York Italian family who knows how to eat and I'll tell ya, I haven't had Italian food this damn good in all of my Colorado days. I tried the eggplant parm hoagie (grinder) and was swooning. The portions are generous so save some for later and treat yourself to one of their many decadent desserts. Mangia!!!

Clearly authentic, but not good. Let's start with what they do right: They're clearly authentic Italian food and add diversity to Fort Collins' food scene. The portions are generous. The prices are fairly reasonable. They make their pasta by hand. Now to what I didn't like: The gelato is ok, but real gelato should never be brightly colored. Real gelaterias use only natural ingredients and therefore the product should always be earth-toned with deep berry colors. The food is mixed. Like I said, the pasta is handmade but the chicken in their cacciatore is clearly frozen (given how spongy its texture is) and so are the mussels in their fraviadolo. The real problem with Gelato and Amore is not their gelato, frozen ingredients, or their seasoning, but with how the owner treats his staff. While having dinner there, I overheard the cook say he had worked a twelve hour shift. I glanced over my shoulder saw that he had bags under his eyes. When I got home and looked it up, I found their business listing on Indeed and saw that many of their employees have similarly cited being overworked. But don't take it from me, take it from the Indeed reviews left my the employees. Until Gelato & aMore treats their employees better and improves the quality of their ingredients, I won't be back.

I LOVE this place!!! The food is fantastic and everyone that works there has been delightful. I can't wait to bring my boyfriend here and show him the Italian Wedding Soup

The kraut burger is just so good. The pumpkin gelato too. I love this place so much. But get the kraut burger.

Great little spot with some authentic Italian food! We waited for a while for our pizza because it was burnt and they very kindly offered us free dessert... amazing customer service! Perfect for a summer day.

I was looking for healthy Italian take-out and found this great lil spot! Really nice people who care about their food and customers. Eggplant Hoagie and Tuscan bean soup were bomb. Looking forward to my next visit.

Gelato & amore makes the best gelato in all of Fort Collins! The silkyness and airyness of authentic gelato resides at Gelato & aMore. Run here, they've got something special. For all the ladies who are craving chocolate during their periods, you should def get a pint of chocolate gelato to go. Treat yourself! I haven't eaten their actual food yet but judging by their websites menu, the owners are definitely from the southern part of Italy, probably Sicily cause this girl from Brooklyn can spot the sausage, pepper and onions as well as the parmigiana dishes from a mile away. I can't wait to try more of their heartier dishes.

One of my favorite local places to eat. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming every time my family go. The food is outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

Regular gelato. Vegan gelato. Yes...all of the gelato is good! I cannot wait to try their other food items. Whenever I'm in there, I always eyeball the homemade mozzarella. My favorite thing I had at Gelato Amore was the vanilla gelato with espresso over the top.

This place never misses. Everytime I go I HAVE to get gelato. This time I enjoyed the rigatoni with a red sauce it was phenomenal. My favorite gelato flavor is the cherry and chocolate together, it is to die for.

We ordered the special today which included chicken, brisket, salad, rolls, potatoes, veggies and desert for $45.00. OMG this was awesome, well worth it. We have lots leftover. Highly recommend!!

Really good gelato! The almond cinnamon flavor is stuff of legend The atmosphere/sitting area is peaceful and great lighting for photos if you're into that. Highly recommend. PS. I love the music choice

This small shop is a gem. Excellent food. The entrees and gelato were fantastic. Seating is outside, but grab and go if you need to. A few minutes from Old Town by car, but very much worth the detour if you are downtown .

Drove 30 minutes to try this restaurant. They were closed contrary to hours posted here and on their door.

This restaurant/lunch cafe serves extremely authentic NYC-style Italian food (as well as gelato!) and is an absolute gem to have in Ft. Collins. Their eggplant reminded me of my Italian grandmother's and brought me back to my childhood in the best way possible. We really appreciated the vegan options too. The vegan almond and coconut gelato were delicious. I'll definitely be back here to pick up an eggplant sandwich before work!

We stopped by after Yelping the place and found it met our expectations for the Gelato. I would like to go back and try the Italian food again sometime. It looked absolutely delicious. Unfortunately we had already eaten and were looking for an ice cream/ gelato place and were really pleased with the choice. Super friendly service. Stop by you won't be disappointed!!

You would think you were back in Italy (or parts of New York City). We haven't tried the pizza by the slice or the pasta or the hot sandwiches or the lasagna or the tiramisu... BUT the gelato! Wow. Just like in Italy. There are tables to sit down outside, but no inside sitting. Right next to City Park. Go for a swim, or walk, or bike ride and stop for Gelato. It doesn't get much better.
