Gelato Boy

This shop caught my eyes few days ago since everything looked homemade and fresh. I finally stopped by and wasn’t disappointed!!! Flavors may change daily since the batches you’re served are made the same morning with local milk. There is no artificial colors or flavors its perfect! The cookie sandwich with warm cookie was excellent!

Friendly staff and great gelato. I was particularly relieved to see they have dairy free options for my lactose intolerance. We got lucky because we arrived when the shop was empty, but by the time we ordered, it was packed!

The gelato here was incredible. I got the chocolate hazelnut crunch and my boyfriend ordered the black raspberry chocolate chip, we were both really impressed with the flavors we chose. I wish i could've tried more kinds! The service wasn't the best though, the workers were in back and it took a bit for them to come out, both girls seemed annoyed that they had customers to serve.

First time stop by at this place. It is a small store but i think its cute. Their ice cream is good. My daughter have lavender poppy, my son have hazelnut chocolate crunch and my other son have Cookie sandwich coffee chip.

Tastes very good, objectively… but after a 10 min walk home in 85 degrees there were no signs of melting whatsoever plus it has a gummy-like texture, so I have to assume it’s loaded with additives. Calling your product gelato when it’s unnatural and melts slower than even most ice creams feels pretty inauthentic & appropriative

Me and my wife have been regulars for a while, but it’s been slipping. We asked if the manager was around since the staff seemed distracted and no one greeted us. One of them called for the shop supervisor in the back, and we could see they were playing games or something in the back. She eventually came out, clearly not engaged. Her eyes were glazed over, and she didn’t look at us when she asked, “What can I get you?” It felt like we were bothering her. It’s a shame because we used to love this place, but the staff and supervisor seem completely checked out. Maybe it’s time for them to bring in new leadership to get things back on track. Until then, we’ll probably look elsewhere.

Delicious gelato, I had the Lavender Poppyseed and it was very refreshing - not too heavy or sweet. They also have gluten free cones and a gluten free brownie you can have "a la mode." I haven't tried them (yet) but they also offer gelato milkshakes and coffees.

Why aren’t people lined up out the door here? We’ve been to Italy many times and Gelato Boy is 99% close to true Italian gelato. This store needs more signage outside!

Cute small shop on Pearl St Mall. Clearly very popular at 7pm on a Sunday night. They had 16 different flavors and a choice of cones & cups. Two small benches on both sides of entrance with small tables for indoor seating. I saw several stools out on the sidewalk. The staff was pleasant and didn't acted rushed despite the crowd. I got the Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch and the Coffee Chip gelatos in a Waffle cone. Very good. I am a member of your rewards program and got another star reward.

Still a 5 after all these years. I am in this area a lot but have been frugal with my calories recently. But the power of suggestion is real. When I saw a Yelp picture of their new summer flavor, I knew I needed it for dessert tonight. It was really really good. They used to have such inventive and frequently changing flavors. But they, like everyone else , lost a lot of momentum over the last 4 years. I'm so glad I saw this new summer flavor on Yelp today. And happy they have yet another location in Denver for the locals and visitors down there. And it all started at the Boulder Farmers Market about 12 years ago, under the original Italian name, Fiore di Latte. Still growing and pleasing us in Colorado.

Delicious gelato! Lots of different flavors to choose from. I enjoyed the butter cake flavor. Friendly staff & decent pricing.

The hype is REAL at Gelato Boy! You know a business is good when there are 2 locations within a few blocks of each other on the same street. Both locations are right there on Pearl Street which is an awesome retail and dining district of Boulder, CO. A friend and I grabbed lunch at a restaurant on Pearl Street then just walked the strip which I thought was the perfect afternoon activity. There are tons of shops, restaurants and bars in this area and the roads are pedestrian only. You could truly make a whole day out of Pearl Street. Anyway, back to the gelato. The flavors were completely insane and totally not like other gelato I've had before. Gooey buttercake caramel was my absolute favorite! Lavender poppy and salty cookes & cream also caught my eye. They were making homemade waffle cones in a waffle maker while we were standing in line and you can just imagine how great that smelled! Gelato boy was the perfect stop for a delicious afternoon treat on a beautiful fall day in Boulder!

Sorry. The raspberry chocolate chip and hazelnut gelatos were cool and refreshing, but I would not have been able to say what flavors I was eating if blindfolded. I expected more.

Lavender poppy and raspberry chocolate chip are the true winners here! What a neat little spot to grab dessert after dinner on Pearl Street. You can try multiple flavors if those two aren't your cup of tea... but seriously all so good. Great service too. Easy day to come back here for gelato again to satisfy my sweet tooth when in Boulder!

We were looking for a dessert spot in Boulder while visiting and happened upon Gelato Boy. Let me start by saying this is some of the best flavors and texture of gelato that I have had in the US. We decided on a flight with 6 flavors to share. In order of our favorites: lavender, gooey butter cake, chocolate hazelnut, chocolate malt, stracciatella, and raspberry choco chip. I really like chewy ice cream and this hit the spot to give me just that. It's a pretty good price for a flight of 6 scoops honestly. I have Jenis ice cream to compare some of these similar flavors to, and I actually liked the flavors and texture here better than Jenis. Definitely worth a try on a hot summer day when you're in the area.

They had delicious gelato here! I appreciated that they were allergy friendly. When I mentioned I had a nut allergy they went to the back to use a fresh scoop and batch to avoid cross contamination. I tried the gelato with a warm brownie and it was soooo good!

Waffle was good.... Cept they didn't redeem my free waffle cone which I was sad about. But the flavors at this gelato place were okay! Pistachio didn't have much pistachio flavor in it. Probably won't come again.

Awesome gelato! I tried the new strawberry pop tart and cinnamon cake one and they were super awesome! Great gelato as always and you can't go wrong. I wish some of the pint flavors were offered in the store for offering because they had a lot of interesting sounding ones. Cleanliness is ok and the seating could be better but the gelato makes it worth it. The service is quick and friendly. Will be back when I'm on Pearl street ans want some unique flavored gelato.

The texture of the gelato wasn't creamy, it was more like the texture of ice cream. I ordered a small (two flavors) in a Waffle Cone. Salty Cookies + Cream: The flavor was mild - the most memorable part was the slight saltiness. Gooey Buttercake + Caramel: I definitely liked this flavor better. The caramel flavor was really intense which caused it to be a little too sweet for me.

Super good gelato, nice workers, cute place. Tiny bit on expensive side but not bad at all for the quality. The chocolate hazelnut and the strachietella were great!

Visited their other location a few months ago when we first visited Colorado, didn't realize they had 2 locations so close to each other. Got to check out this location this time around and it was just as cute. Their service was amazing!! Masks weren't really being worn here but then again I think majority of Colorado isn't really wearing masks anymore either. They rotate their flavors often, they didn't have mint this time around so I got the peach crumble & s'mores!! They were both so good & satisfying! The consistency of the gelato at this location was better than their other location. It was much thicker & creamier. Also they close at 10 pm here! I checked in on YELP for a free waffle cone but since they were out, the cashier gave me $2 off which was super nicer of her!! Had a great experience, definitely will be coming back next time I'm in town.

Nice sweet treat and the Pearl Street Mall is an awesome place to walk around. There are actually two Gelato Boy locations on opposite ends. Check in on Yelp to get a free waffle cone upgrade! Overall gelato consistency was excellent and it didn't melt quickly. - The gooey buttercake with caramel is a phenomenal flavor highly recommend! Rich flavor, cake chunks, and not overly sweet 5/5 - The pistachio didn't have as much flavor to pair against the gooey buttercake but I think would be a classic flavor 3.5/5 Waffle cone was crisp and delicious; saw fresh ones being made in store and it smelled so good. Didn't get soggy from gelato 5/5 Note because of Covid there are no flavor samples right now, but staff was helpful describing flavors and the popularity level

Delicious! The gooey butter cake and chocolate hazelnut ice cream were very good! The waffle cone was good too (yelp had a free coupon). The serving sizes are small considering the price. But, the ice cream was tasty and I would recommend trying it!

They have some unique flavors such as poppy seed lavender and lemoncello. Pretty good place to get something to cool off.

I love this location! Gelato Boy had great, unique flavor options like lavender poppyseed, as well as delicious classic flavors like cookies and cream. Regardless of the flavor, it's always delicious and the employees have a great attitude when serving me! Marlena is especially awesome and is always patient with me when I ask for multiple samples!

A great treat after dining along Pearl Street Market. Paid street parking outside, and the storefront is quite small, no room to eat inside. Inside was clean and the staff friendly. You may see a line outside if going at peak times, but the servers are pretty quick to take your order and serve. Your wait may get extended by customers tasting flavors before ordering, but it's worth the wait. Tried the chocolate, mint chocolate chip, birthday cake, lavender, pistachio, and lemon......don't judge. All were delicious. Enjoy it with an evening stroll along Pearl Street Market!

Gelato was soo creamy and full of flavor, I recommend the lavender poppyseed. The staff was nice.

Just what I was lookin for in the afternoon, the blackberry cornbread and strawberry blondie were both crazy insane and full of flavor but the weird thing is nobody said a word to us. Like all the kids working were really weird and made us feel uncomfortable not gonna lie lol. They were really unfriendly. Like they didn't even say hello, what can we help you with, any questions, nothing. Just stared awkwardly at us. Not even when they took payment did they say a word lol. Dessert was really good but prob won't ever be back cuz they were acting like mindless corporate drones or some weird shi....lol

Amazingly rich, thick and tasty Gelatos. We tried the Gooey Buttercake + Caramel with Lavender Poppy which turned out to be a great combination, the highlight was the Lavender Poppy which was the perfect amount of sweet, the gooey buttermilk + caramel tasted absolutely dreamy. The Dairy Free Strawberry Gelato was nice as well and different from a generic strawberry gelato. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for great gelato around the Denver/ Boulder Area.

Unique flavors, quick service, and delicious gelato. We tried the coffee, limoncello, and chocolate. Every flavor was rich and delicious!

This gelato shop wasn't my first choice, but the one I wanted to try had a note outside their door. Gelato boy was nearby, so we decided to check them out. My friend and I shared a double scoop of coffee chip and sicilian pistachio on a waffle cone. The scoops were a decent size and waffle cone was fresh and crunchy. I liked the flavors we chose and this place seems like a popular touristy shop to get your gelato fix!

Gelato Boy has such unique and fun flavors that we had to get a flight! My favorites were the lavender poppy seed which had a subtle floral, fragrant taste with added poppy seed texture. Pistachio was very nutty and thick, creamy gelato. Salted cookies and cream was also delicious and a unique twist to a classic. Mudslide was a coffee base mixed with fudge and cookies. Definitely recommend getting a flight to try all the options! Only downside was when we did get our flight, the gelato melted pretty quick.

Simplistic, no frills, yet this place nails it. Located in a small storefront on Pearl Street's West End, Gelato Boy does a terrific job meshing creative, in-store flavors with superb customer service. Toughest decision is which flavor to select, a challenge! I shunned Midnight Chocolate, Gooey Buttercake Caramel, and Strawberry Shortbread for their Very V@Nilla, which was outstanding. Get in line, get a sample or two to help your critical gelato decision, and enjoy!

The food was super good! The people working were very nice and the look of the shop was very cute and cozy, I enjoyed it. Also they had a lot of gluten free and dairy free options there.

Ok, being in Colorado I had to have the berry ice cream, a break from my usual coffee. It was great! Right on the main drag in Boulder, open late hours so you can get your sweet fix. Rich, creamy gelato. Dairy in Colorado is on a different level, rich & fresh.

Never knew that Boulder had so many good ice cream/gelato places, but after trying Fior's, I can confirm it! I ordered two scoops: honey-lavender and strawberry-coconut. Both were incredible in flavor; I usually like strong tastes, so being able to taste the lavender and strawberry (usually quite subtle flavors) was a good thing in my book! I've heard that strawberries are actually roasted before being used in the gelato, which is something I've never heard of, but am on board with! Highly recommend Fior. There are two locations on Pearl Street, so in case one gets busy, you can always go a couple of blocks down to the other one!

The ice cream and waffles here are delicious. I could eat the waffles all day long. That is the reason I will come back when I am in the area. There is one important thing you need to pay attention to when here, your total. My friend ordered Waffle A La Mode, which should cost $7.25, but his total came up to over $12. This happened to another person in line as well. Overcharging may be a frequent issue here or it was a new employee. Pay attention and make sure they charge you correctly. Both times I went to Fior Di Latte, they were out of flavors, this might be another common problem. Also the service felt rushed. You can try as many samples, which is great! The line can get a little long because of that. One of my favorites here is the dark chocolate ice cream, very indulging. I got a scoop of the burnt honey and lavender, it was really interesting.

Came here for dessert and was not disappointed. I had a small waffle cone and tried 2 seasonal flavors. The pannacotta cranberry cobbler and marsala cider cake were delicious and tasted even better on a waffle cone. I arrived 30mins before closing and service was still simple and quick. I would come back!

Always a great selection of vegan and gluten free options, all well marked. It's so great to have more than one vegan selection. I always get the regular and leave stuffed! Staff are friendly and warm.

Love love love love it! Amazing customer service. Once somehow my dog dropped my ice cream in about 5 mins. I went back to get more. The guy behind the counter was nice he gave me a new ice cream and didn't charge. I have going back & back & back after getting greater customer service.

Went to this gelato crib after a full day of absolute sending at the creek with the fam. Not sure what I was on this night I visited Gelato Boy but the cream was so on point it would melt what's left of your gmas tits clean off that's how delicious it was. Copped the blueberry lavender hibiscus purple dream cloud alongside the coconut sea salt caramel blast off into outer space flavors all inside a house made waffle cone and now I can never go back to my pre transcendent days after housing this flavor combo. To say this place is to die for is an absolute understatement. Come here with your Ma, your Pa, your sister, your GF, your bro, your hoe, your sidepiece, your aunt, your niece & nephew, your pet goffer, whoever the f... they will surely not be disappointed. If you want your rack torn in half, this is the joint to hit. Peace out you heinous individuals. Make sure to keep the gelato game strong this summer, cuz the heat waves are going to be more ablaze than glass animals at red rocks.

I have to say, I am sad that I put off trying this place! I went in with a group of 8 people, expecting some mediocre gelato. But to my surprise, they had some interesting flavors. And what shocked me even more was the fact that the creamiest flavors were dairy free! I got the oatmeal chai and loved it. Not to mention, it paired well with my snickerdoodle. The serving size for two scoops is rather generous, and I ended up not being able to finish. But given the chance, I would do the half -and-half scoop with just one scoop next time. Can't wait to come back again!

Always on the lookout for great ice cream or gelato when I travel, Gelato Boy fit the bill today. A nice little shop on bustling Pearl Street in Boulder, come here for some tasty gelato. I sampled a few flavors before settling on the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Orange Creamsicle, getting a split scoop which was just the right size for me after just having had pizza for lunch. The staff is very friendly and the gelato was delicious! They offer flights which I'd gladly return for when I'm less full.

Cute spot downtown that's actually open late ish. Came here after dinner nearby and got the vegan chocolate ice cream. Super rich! The cashier was very nice and even let us stay after closing hours until she actually closed up the shop. I can see this being the go to dessert spot in the area in the evenings. Lots of variety with flavors including gluten free and non dairy options.

Fun staff. Delicious ice cream. Generous portions for gelato. And we lucked out and the line wasn't long when we arrived. The best flavor was the pastachio jam. There were some very good close contenders. Glad we stopped and dropped $8 for three big scoops of delicious cold goodness.

Coffe and the tai chai gelato delicious had today really recommend. Super creamy and tasteful.

If you want to spend nearly $6 for a scoop of taste-free gelato this is the place for you. Their so-called gelato is also dairy-free which robs true gelato of its taste. They have decided to cater to youngsters who demand dairy free instead of the 90% of us who want taste. This pales in comparison to the real gelato found in NYC or Rome.

The gelato was great on a 95F afternoon. We had a group of 9 and ordered 2 flights for $8.45 (6 scoops each). We were able to sample all of their flavors except for the midnight chocolate and the milk chocolate, which they were out of. They had a good selection of fruity flavors and other flavors. My favorite was the cookie butter, the cinnamon cherry bourbon, and the sweet cream and dark chocolate. I think that the presentation of the flights could have been improved (they were literally scooped into a brown paper tray) but otherwise the gelato tasted delicious!

This is the amazing ice cream I've ever had!! It was so fresh and tasty! They also have vegan options and it tasted like real milk!! They make the ice cream and waffles fresh! This is a must try place. They have two locations as well! The coffee flavored ice cream was my favorite one!!
