Nice and cozy place with plenty of options of Indonesian food, good price and tasty, friendly service as well! Although some of the food felt like it has been adjusted more to the european palate, but overall the Indonesian taste is still strong making me miss home.

Delicious food! You can build your own meal. The variety is huge, lot of meat and veggie options. The portion I got was quite big for about 11€. The girl behind he counter was super nice and helpful. I will definitely go again!

We ordered take out for 4 People and the food was delicious with fair prices. Later we realised there was a missing item but once we came back to the store they were very understanding and we were able to get the missing item. 5/5 experience.

I ordered 2 times here take away and dine in, the food was ok (for Indonesian standard the taste bit less spicy) overall it was good to have our own far from home.

Had some delicious take away on our way back to Germany. Loved the seasoning and the freshness of the food. It helped us cope with the fact, that some of the deliciousness was spilled. And if you can help us with the name of the sauce, it would be amazing. Thanks for a memorable train ride ;)

My favorite restaurant in the NL. I love love love this food. And the old family recipes ☺️🥰. I definitely coming back!

Had a quick dinner at Gembira. The food was very delicious, especially the spicy beef and the fish. Besides the food we were also impressed by one of the staff behind the counter, very thoughtful and friendly, she explained almost all the dishes to us without complaints. We told her that we love spicy food and even got some extra hot sauce. Super nice experience, hopefully we will drop by when we return to Maastricht.

Haven't had (proper) indonesian food for years. I think I made a great choice coming there. Food was excellent, exactly what you'd get in indonesian street vendor. Tons of variety, price is very justifiable. Also there's distinct / nuance flavour that you cannot replicate if you cook indonesian food on your own, I mean, sure you can but at what cost
