We stumbled upon Gemini Room while walking through Capitol Hill and are so glad we decided to check it out! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was chill, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. The drinks were absolutely top tier! Crafted with care and full of flavor. You can tell the bartenders know what they’re doing. We also ordered the fries, and wow… SO good. Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and just the right kind of snack to go with a great cocktail. The decor is everything!!! Stylish, modern, and cozy without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which only added to the experience. We can’t wait to go back and spend more time here. Whether you’re just popping in for a drink or planning a night out, Gemini Room is definitely a Capitol Hill gem.

You know a burrito is good when it stands on its own from the start to the end of the meal 💖 If your looking for a day spot, definitely pop in here for a cozy 3rd space vibe and plenty of coffee, breakfast burritos, and maybe a cocktail if you're feeling spicy. The evenings are their bread and butter right now but the day service could be just as poppin once people find it.

Really unique experience, the vibes are really cozy and laid back. The atmosphere was a vibe, gives retro cafe/lounge. Food was pretty good, the solar sunrise is really good! I would come back for sure

Morgan was our server and she was attentive and friendly!! She offered great recommendations and our mocktails were very tasty.

We stopped by for brunch this Friday, after my weekly Capitol Hill knit group told me that they’ve started meeting here. We ordered Iced Tea (thankfully natural, unsweetened & not artificially flavored); Our Cali Breakfast Burrito and Bacon Breakfast Sandwich were delightfully crispy, delicious, and satisfying. I enviously eyed our knit friends’ Shoestring Fries & Aoli, maybe I’ll order that next time. We’ll definitely be back! Loved the Mid-Century Modern decor, cozy seating areas, and also al fresco outdoor patio seating (tables & chairs) in the Chophouse Row corridor courtyard garden. Overall there’s a happy sunshiney vibe out front or at the bar, and a peaceful romantic feel in the back. Located conveniently in the middle of Capitol Hill neighborhood, the Gemini Room entrance can be confusing to find on your first visit because the address is “Pike Street” but the entrance is on 11th Avenue, between Retrofit & Cloud Room - among the Chophouse Row shops.

I frequently get breakfast sandwiches on the weekend. I've been to dozens of cafes and restaurants offering some form of eggs on toast, from fancy sandwiches with French names and Seattle pricing to McDonald's copycats (of the English muffin variety). This morning, the place my partner and I were heading to was closed, so we changed our route and ended up passing a small sign on the corner of 11th and Pike St for Gemini Room's breakfast burritos. On a whim, we decided to go in. I ordered the spicy chorizo breakfast sandwich, and my partner ordered the bacon breakfast sandwich. Both were fantastic. The burrito was stuffed with hot scrambled eggs, cotija, and chorizo, with the savoriness balanced by the cold crunchiness of pickled jalapeños and cilantro. The last time I had something this well-balanced was the Ox Burger at Taurus Ox. You could distinctly taste the cotija, chorizo, egg, and pickled jalapeños, without the flavors becoming muddled. The bacon breakfast sandwich had an egg, melted hard white cheddar, arugula, and pickled jalapeños, all beneath a generous stack of thick-cut bacon, sandwiched inside a toasted Macrina Bakery brioche bun. Did I mention the tomato jam? Yeah, it was good. You need to eat it quickly before the bun gets soft, but that shouldn't be a problem. I highly recommend visiting this place and bringing your friends and family to showcase Seattle's food scene. One of the best parts? Everything is under $14 (and includes meat). A couple of negatives... The table by the window was wobbly and needed tightening. The right side of the track on the window sill had a sharp edge that could be buffed out.

Both the place itself and drinks were good. It’s just their device that is soooo 🐌 slow that makes me and my friends sad. I’ve been there 3-5 times, and even if when they are not busy, the service is slow… I don’t get it. A cute space though - perfect for dates and intimate hang out time with friends.

I just have to say - the breakfast burritos are SO GOOD! I’ve ordered the cali burrito twice for takeout and I appreciate that every component is prepared well - the bacon and fries in it are crispy! Will be returning for breakfast burritos very often!

This place never disappoints and I can say that it's my favorite bar in Seattle. The vibes and the drinks are really good even if you don't drink alcohol and want a mocktail. I always get the mocktails so I can't speak on the alcoholic drinks but everyone loves a Rickey is really nice if you love coconut. It's creamy and citrusy, a perfect balance when we want a refreshing drink. A must get for food is definitely the fries & aioli. $13 for a big bowl to share or $5 for a smaller bowl during happy hour. I think the chicken is passable, it's not super crispy and lacks depth.

Gemini room genuinely frustrates me because the drinks are so good and snacks are pretty tasty, but the service is terrible every time. We were there last weekend, midday. Whenever we go we usually wait quite a while before getting served, then when we finally get our drinks, the server won't come back for 45 minutes. We sat there for a while waiting with empty drinks trying to get the server's attention. I understand that it can be challenging with only two staff members but it's pretty infuriating when you're trying to get the servers attention and they just will not come over. She told us that she'd be right with us when we went up to her but she just never came back. We tried going up to the bar and ordering but the bartender told us to wait for the server. We eventually scrapped it and walked up to the server with card in hand to get the bill. Love the decor in gemini room but the chairs in the back corner are so closely crammed together. It's quite overstimulating to actually sit in a chair.

Went during happy hour where it's $2 off cocktails and some of their bites are $5. Got the midnight sun which has pineapple, OJ & coconut cream with a pea flower rum float. Pretty delicious very pineapple forward fruity and slightly creamy. Felt like couldn't taste the OJ but overall was not too strong. Fries had a nice crisp and well seasoned, not too salty. Sweet & Spicy chicken bites were okay but for $5 can't complain. More sweet than spicy and has more of a chicken nugget outside rather than crispy chicken. Went around 5:30 on a Monday and they had a few lounging areas available inside, but once it got to around 7 the place was pretty much filled up with groups in every lounging spot. Service is fast!

Get the cloud 9. No notes. Egg white foam was everything and so was the ambiance!! Food looked good too but I didn't try it

Such a cute atmosphere! Went there on friday with no reservation and it was about 30 minute wait which is totally fine! The server was nice, but it was so busy and understaffed we ended up waiting 30 minutes to get her attention and another 20 for the ketchup we asked for. The fries were to die for!! And to me the aioli was just okay, the korean chicken was hardly anything korean and it was just mostly very sour and salty overall would not recommend. For drinks, I got midnight sun and found it too sweet, and it was also just okay. Overall cute for the vibes but definitely won't be going out of my way to go there.

Went for happy hour on a Friday. Got the fries, sweet & spicy chicken bites, and solar sunrise cocktail. Loved the fries with aioli sauce. There's just the right amount of crunch to the fries. The chicken bites were good, and i liked the gochujang sauce. Snack prices are good HH deal. Solar sunrise has a bit of a kick to it as it contains tajin in the drink and not just the rim. No HH deal for drinks. Giving 3 stars because the service was very confusing. My party of 2 sat near the bar. A server came at the start and gave us water, but she didn't come back at all after that. Had to order, pay, and request for boxes at the bar. Don't know if it was because they're busy, but it seemed odd.

A nice, cool, and great way to enjoy your evening in Seattle's Capitol Hill area. Loved the aesthetic and atmosphere there. Played the best music I heard while visiting the city. Our server was kind and welcoming, made conversation and jokes with us which was nice. We didn't get to eat any food but the menu looked good and diverse. I've heard they have good eats, so if I visit again I'll make sure to try the menu. Wished they stayed open late that's my only complaint.

Visited here on a Friday night and got seated right away despite it being packed. The bartender and security was very nice. The vibe that day was cozy and loud. This time I ordered a mocktail, the ube orange cream soda, and I liked it a lot. I was craving something sweet so it hit the spot. My friend got the smokeshow and said it looked better then it tasted but still finished it. Ofc I love the deviled eggs from here! DELISH, done in 0.5 seconds. I hope they never take them off the menu because it's what gets me coming back.

While in the area and having just left some coworkers from a dinner I decided to dip into Gemini Room for a solo drink in a 60s/70s inspired decor and ambiance. This bar nails the velvet aesthetic with cool fresh plant and gold vibes here. I sat at the bar as I did some writing. It was really nice to be able to sit down in a comfy chair and watch the company of the night come in and go out. I had a nice fresh local beer on tap and watched each cocktail get made-to-order with such delicacy and detail. The attention to detail was appreciated. Thank you, bartenders, for making the coolest looking cocktail in this atmosphere. It hit all the marks for me. I didn't venture any further than the front bar but giving a quick look out to the main seating area I saw friend groups laughing and having a great time in small and large groups. Plenty of seating in this area for you and your friends to hang and try all the tastiest cocktails they have to offer.

Great ambiance, plenty of cozy seating, and helpful staff. We only popped in for a cocktail each, but the menu was really unique, which is great to see. Fun addition to the neighborhood. I'd come back for sure.

I love the retro chic vibe of the Gemini room. They have great craft cocktails, as well as a pretty extensive list of uncommon drinks and mixers. The service was great, and although we did not get food, the pink deviled eggs came out of the kitchen the most around us.

I love the servers and waitress but we got here on a Friday night at 440pm and ordered all their happy hour menu item, just 1 of each. It took FOREVER to come out, literally 1 hour later which is crazy to think about. We had a reservation at another restaurant elsewhere and had to cancel our order because it was taking so long. I feel like they are understaffed and need more workers. Love the people and they also nice, bless their hearts, but service was too long :(

Gemini Room has such a good happy hour! Came here after work to catch up with a friend and loved it. We got the fries, chicken, and caesar salad. All of it was super yummy, highly recommend getting the chicken! I got a well drink ($5 on their happy hour menu) and the bartender had a heavy hand so I definitely got my money's worth! The service was fast and the person helping us was friendly. They have a big room with a decent amount of seats. This would be a great place to come with a friend, group of people, and for date night. Would definitely come back for a brunch!

Best happy hour deals and such kind and friendly staff! Absolutely loved the salty fries and creamy aioli, the crispy chicken bites were really flavorful, and loved the fried ravioli as well. Loved the sweetness of the midnight sun and blood orange cocktails!

Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch. The breakfast burritos were delicious. Also got an oatmilk latte and a cold brew which were both great. Our waiter was very attentive and service was overall great. I usually come here for drinks and small bites but it's also a great brunch spot.

We popped into Gemini for the first time last year in the late evening and totally enjoyed some cocktails so this year on our visit. We decided to go in the afternoon , I love the colors and vintage vibes inside. We had the same experience which was outstanding. We had two and a burrito. So delicious. This place is definitely a must visit no matter what the time is.

Cute 70s themed bar that we stopped in for drinks. Drinks were decent but we couldn't find any servers and decided to sit at the bar instead. I wouldn't mind this normally but the bartender kept splashing various liquids at us and even hit my friend with an ice cube at one point. Not sure what was going on with this bartender.

Found this place on tiktok under the plans to bar hop. This was our second stop and we were a little disappointed. We got sat during a busy hour and understandably waited 15-20 minutes to get our order taken. After awhile we noticed the server on the floor did not pay any attention to us and helped 2 parties that came in after us. I kindly let another staff member know. Specifically it was the girl with the blonde hair. The brunette was the one apologizing to us for the wait. The service -2. The drinks were pretty okay! Not the tastiest but not the worst. Definitely could taste the alcohol aftertaste in the ones we ordered that I attached via the picture. Don't think I will be returning to spend $15-20 on drinks I barely liked. The vibes were amazing despite all the cons I had from this place. It was vibey with lots of mood lighting. We had a great convo with the party across from us that also came back to Gemini a couple times for the vibes. There was music but not too loud to where you'll have to scream to be heard. A good lounging area for sure! Just unfortunate that the drinks were mid and service was terrible. Regardless I tipped her well and just left with my friend.

We stopped in at Gemini Room for a drink as part of our tour around capitol hill. It wasn't busy at all as we went in the middle of the week at 2 pm. I got an aperol spritz which was good, but really the ambiance is what makes this place. It's very 70's, cozy, cute. Would be a good spot to get a drink with your girl friends or take some cute pics.

I've been to Gemini Room twice for drinks, and I really enjoyed their cocktails. We tried the Midnight Sun (which has a moderately strong alcohol flavor), Twin Snake (tastes like Sprite!), Ube Orange Cream Soda (non-alcoholic), Ginger Basil Grapefruit Soda (non-alcoholic), and Rose Aperitif (non-alcoholic). Our favorite was definitely the ube soda. The ambiance of the Gemini Room is cozy, charming, and a bit intimate. It's perfect for couples and friends. They offer bar and stool seating, as well as many comfortable couches in the back. It can be a little difficult to catch the attention of servers, and if you sit at the high-top seating, it's best to order directly from the bartender.

Gemini room is such an eclectic and beautiful space that's perfect when you're looking for a chill bar! There's a bunch of soft lounge seating that's separated so lots of different groups can still feel like they have their own section. I will say it fills up during the weekend so you may have to wait for a seat in the back. I ordered the solar sunrise ($16) because it sounded like a sweeter option! The girl that took our order even recommended it as a sweet drink since it contains strawberry and peach purée. Buttt it also contained serrano pepper and let me tell you, it was SO spicy?? I can handle spice but I thought it would be a hint instead of overpowering the whole drink. I had to ask them to add more soda which they so kindly did (also + more purée)!! I may have ordered the wrong drink, but I loved the ube cocktail my friend ordered. It tasted like coffee as well and I would recommend that one! I would also be interested in ordering some food next time. Overall I love it here because they have the prettiest cocktails and you can actually talk with friends!

We arrived around 9 pm on a Friday and were lucky to find the last open spot! By the time we sat down, two more groups were already waiting. They make it easy with QR codes at each table to view the menu, which features a fun selection of drinks. Once you've decided, you head up to the bar to place your order, and they'll bring your drinks right to you. I ordered the Ube Moon, which I highly recommend if you're a fan of ube and creamy drinks - it was delicious! They also offer complimentary self-serve water, which is a nice touch. The vibe here is fantastic - it's got a great energy but isn't too loud, so you can have a conversation with your friends. The interior is cute with a fun retro aesthetic, and the furniture adds to the overall cozy, playful atmosphere. The staff was also great, and even the security guard was friendly, making the whole experience feel welcoming. Overall, a wonderful spot with a relaxed yet lively vibe!

Ambiance: 5/5, staff were warm and welcoming Food: 4/5, the Happy Hour was a great deal. The deviled eggs deliver on being pickled, which may or may not be your ham. The gochujang chicken bites were very sweet with a bit too much sauce. The fries were fantastic! Drinks: fancy Shirley Temple was 5/5, the orange ube cream soda was 1/5 as the two flavors clashed in every sip

I came here for after work drinks with a friend. Immediately after walking in, I was amazed by the decor. It was very modern looking with lots of textures and shapes. I recommend stopping in just to see the decor if not for anything else. It felt like a space that was very conducive to good conversation with couches and lots of different chairs. The drinks were good and semi decently priced. I honestly love the vibe and will definitely be back!

Came for food and snacks and was super impressed. I came on a Friday night around dinner time and didn't have to wait for a table, I've seen the line long though so I know they can get packed. The ambiance inside is soooo cute and the drinks and food were super good. The cocktails were delicious and i loved their food options.

A good happy hour hangout. When I first entered Gemini Room, it made me believe that Harry Styles designed the space. It was such a relaxed and laid back space. I caught up with friends for some drinks and snacks. I think it was the perfect place to get drinks in Cap Hill. This should definitely be a spot to bar hop or have happy hour. The drink I got was the Midnight Sun with Pineapple, orange juice, and a pea flower rum float. It was delicious and strong! I thought it was the perfect amount of sweetness for me while still being able to taste other aspects of the drink. To pair with the drinks we got the truffle fries, meatballs, fried ravioli, and chicken bites. These appetizers were delicious. Especially the truffle fries with the aioli sauce. I highly recommend. I also really enjoyed the chicken bites. The bartender was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately she was the only one at the time taking orders and checking IDs so it was a little bit slower. But it was fine because my friends and I were able to sit down and chat while waiting. I would recommend this place day or night. I saw that in the daytime Gemini Room turns into a cafe. To meet your caffeine and alcohol needs :)

A friend and I were on our way to find a nightcap martini spot recommended to us but were stopped in our tracks passing by the Gemini Room. Initially attracted by the super chill atmosphere and retro vibes, we were ultimately swayed by the advertised $10 Martini Monday special. Destiny! Dirty gin martini was not the best I've had but it was decent. Staff was pretty hands off. We ordered at the bar and they delivered the drinks to our table. Looks like they have food as well but we'd just eaten dinner so didn't look over the menu. Feels like a good date spot or just a good spot in general for a sophisticated drink without being pretentious.

I'm pretty disappointed to leave such a low review for a place I've enjoyed going to for a while. My friends and I went on a semi-busy night, we ordered a few espresso martinis and shots on our own tabs. We noticed that our totals weren't adding up-- our friend ordered a single espresso martini and her bill nearly came to $30 (we weren't charged until after we left the bar and at time of purchase no receipt was given). We called them the next day to ask them for a breakdown and they said they have a "new POS system" and couldn't review the bill; they suggested we call her bank to dispute it (which we weren't able to because they didn't give her a receipt). This was my friend's first night out together (it was a special occasion) and when they asked me what bars would fit the vibe I immediately thought of this place. This is a bar I've been raving about to my friends and it's frustrating to me that this happened when I was very excited to take them to such a pretty place with great drinks and quick service. While we understand that they were busy and there may have been protocol that we weren't aware of, it just felt pretty shady that they couldn't have been more transparent on the breakdown or at least a bit more understanding.

I can't believe I hadn't come here sooner! This place is so cozy and vibey I love the way they styled the space so much! I got "Ruled By Venus" -- I thought it was really good and not too sweet (sometimes I find cocktails too sweet). We came on a saturday night so there was a line to get in, but it was fairly short and we got seated as a group of 7 very quickly! This is a really intimate space so it would be great for smaller groups, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. And the cocktails were so cute!

This was my first at Gemini Room, as well as our first stop of the night. One of my sorority sisters recently turned 21, so you know what that means! I got the Ube Moon (cold brew, Borghetti, vodka, and ube cream) and one of my sorority sisters got the Golden Hour (tequila reposado, lemon, honey, egg white, OJ & orange bitters w/ a rose petal rim). The drinks were pretty. I am not the biggest fan of coffee and alcohol mixed drinks, but I was enticed by ube being in it. The drinks are quite unique here, so would give them a try!

The drinks were so good and the snacks were great- fried pickle dip and the garlic aioli were TO DIE FOR! Our servers were so friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was such great vibes. Great spot for a date, or night out with friends!

Drinks: Really interesting and unique drinks! They have a good variety of cocktails compared to most places. Also pretty flexible. I asked for a Midnight Sun easy on the coconut and they were able to accommodate me. The Ube Moon and Rosemary Fizz were our favorites. My partner also enjoyed the Ruled by Venus. I would recommend any of them but Ube Moon is sweet, Ruled by Venus is tart, Rosemary is herby and refreshing, and Midnight is creamy and balanced. Also tried the chips and dill dip which was AMAZING. Service: They were super busy but the servers did a great job of making sure they checked in and answering questions. They also did an awesome job of putting up with some rather difficult other tables we saw. Props to all the servers and 5 stars to them. Ambiance: This is really the only area where maybe I thought improvement might occur. The decor was cool and gave a modern "jungle room" vibe. But the seating was not the most comfortable or logical for navigating. That's really the only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars is that honestly sitting on an MCM ottoman is really uncomfortable after a bit. So is sitting on plastic chairs. Other than that, it was a cool vibe.

tried the following 3 drinks: brat, ube moon, and raspberry martini. to be honest the drinks were pretty, but would not order again. the service was lacking on a monday during non-peak hours. however i liked the ambiance, very retro vibe, lighting and furniture. it appeared to be a go to spot for first dates, it was funny noticing that there were many first dates on monday night but i would agree low pressure spot for a first date. there are better spots in cap hill if you want to grab a drink with friends/partner tho...

Cannot recommend the breakfast here at Gemini room enough! The carne asada breakfast burrito is fantastic, chock full of steak, fries, cheese, eggs, salsa, jalapeños and more. I was in burrito heaven eating this massive thing. Iced lattes are super yum as well. The staff are very kind and attentive too. I love the overall vibe and the furniture is fun. Lots of Instagram picture potential here! Definitely will be coming back to get in on their happy hour and dinner menu options.

This place is relatively new. Really cute inside. Has espresso drinks, full bar, some eats and pastries. I got a honey latte and a bacon breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious. Great place to pass by and would come again.

Love the ambiance, great place for happy hour with friends after a long day at work! There was a bit of a mix up with the bill - my friend and I had asked to split it evenly between us but ended up getting the entire bill charged on my friends card. The food was good - paired well with the drinks. I did however find the fried ravioli to be a bit more airy I was expecting at least some melted cheese when biting into it. Would love to come and try their daytime/coffee menu items!

Great drinks and a lovely ambiance! I absolutely love the decor, other people described it as "vibey" and honestly, that's probably the best description of this place. It has a mid century modern aesthetic, with velvet chairs and cushions and lots of plants. We went here for drinks at night, but I can totally see how this operates as a cafe during the day. My only complaint is that the music is very loud, it's hard to hear the people you're with. There were times where the music would die down during song transitions and I would realize that I was pretty much shouting just so my friend could hear me. Great music taste though I will say! The drinks were delicious, we got the Daybreak and Gemini Season and they both looked and tasted great, super fruity! Would definitely come back again to try their other drinks and daytime menu.

The food was pretty good! I got the deep fried raviolis. They were fresh and delicious. The drinks were amazing, so creative and fun and cute. The service was quick, it was a busy saturday night and I got my drinks in a timely manner. The bar tender was so nice. This place is perfect for a chill night with friends. The music is good, the people are friendly, and the vibe is great! Definitely a great spot for the girls .

While I am still lamenting the closure of Pettirosso that resided in this space, I gotta hand it to Gemini Room for creating such a vibey bar in the heart of Capitol Hill. We went as a small group on a Saturday night and we were able to be seated quickly. We tried a few different cocktails each and the group enjoyed all the concoctions. I have to say the ube moon cocktail was my personal fav and the dried rose petals were such a fabulous touch. Can't wait to come back to have a vibey night night and try more delicious drinks. They also seemed to have some NA options for those that don't drink.
