Delicious food, lots of fun to go to with friends. We enjoyed trying lots of different dishes and cooking them together, especially the bulgogi and spicy chicken. I loved the fresh hotteok for dessert. The portions they give you look small, but it is perfect for trying and you can order multiple servings if desired.

This was our 1st visit. Great warm reception at the door, plenty of room to sit at a large table to cook all your food to eat family sharing style that we LOVED! We opt for the all-you-can-eat, not Premium, and left stuffed and delighted! Even the soda drinks were amazing since most places like these don't have decent soda drinks. Lauren was our waitress who did AMAZING waiting on multiple tables while management checked on us multiple times. We definitely felt we ate our money's worth but go hungry since they have a lot of different options to select to eat as we tried numerous to know what we wanted for our next visit, which will definitely be soon!

This is a staple for my husband and I every week for lunch or date night . We always go premium. It’s pricey but we love the short rib , I wish it wasn’t limited . Every time we come the service is impeccable but today we had the pleasure of having a young lady named Grace . She is by far phenomenal! Warm smile and fast service . Thank you today for making our lunch date perfect.

I was hesitant because of so many poor reviews, but we had a great time and the food was good. Very modern feel. We had a party of 15 on a Saturday evening at 5:00. Our meats came within 10 minutes of ordering. Drinks cane quickly. The waiters were very helpful, professional, and kind. I wish there were more side options and a printed out menu. But they kept our grills clean. The seasoning was light enough that my kids were able to eat. Our favorite was the beef bugolgi, our second was the garlic pork belly. We had pork cheek, pork belly, short ribs, honey chicken, brisket, ox intestines, glass noodles, picked onion, and cucumbers, which were really pickles. Our grill stayed hot, no issues with it taking too long to cook. We actually turned down the grill for some meats bc they were so thin. We also had drink from the bar. Those also came fast and were good.

Atmosphere just enhance one's appetite. There's a lot of diners, but the waiter didnot fall short of good service. Extremely attentive & polite. They served good cut meat. Our 2 little grandkids just loved the beef bulgogi, chap chae is everybody's favorite. Extra $10 for premium marinated long bone short rib steak. The breaded calamari was also a hit for my grandson. We enjoyed dining here & looking forward to coming back again.

Google
The food was very good but the service was very slow, like bringing the food in like 15 minutes, cleaning the dirty dishes from the table, bringing us enough napkins, everything was delayed. For the dinner plate that costs 31 per person, they didn't serve us enough food.

Google
We had lunch here today, it’s only $20.95 per person for AYCE! Not too many choices for meat but good enough varieties! The ban chans were just ok, you had to special order the big slices of radish and rice paper, it’ll not show up on the table! Our waitress was ok, got us what we want! A soda is included with your meal! Our final dish was the sweet pancakes, this was really good! Definitely try to get this even if you’re full!

Google
So I love Korean BBQ, but I am sure there is a cheaper option out there. Floors are slick so a little dangerous. Music was so loud we couldn't hear the server. Sides are ok, but miss the starter salad. Everything else is fried but calamari is good along with popcorn chicken. Even super busy thr server hustled and we got meat pretty quickly. Cuts were good, and we managed to not give ourselves food poisoning. So winning, except for the crazy bill!

Yelp
First time coming in for my girlfriend and I. We had the best experience. The cocktails were awesome and the service was even better. We had no clue what we were doing but edjerin was our server and did everything right. We will definitely be coming back and asking for him!

Yelp
Jack did really good with our service and I would definitely come back and the food was amazing

Yelp
Yesterday, my family and I had an absolutely incredible experience at GEN Korean BBQ in Frisco! We had won a silent auction for the Premier Experience for four, and we were so excited to try it out. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations! First, huge kudos to Reginal Manager Joe, who went above and beyond to fit us in on Valentine's Day, one of the busiest nights of the year, within just a few hours of our request. When we arrived, we were greeted like VIPs, the host knew our name and was clearly expecting us, which made us feel extra special. The restaurant was packed, yet we were seated immediately and received top-notch service throughout the night. Our server was fantastic, explaining the menu in detail and offering great recommendations. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring we never had to ask for water or dipping sauces. Since we wanted to try a variety of meats, they guided us to some of the best options on the menu. We especially loved the Wagyu and Beef Long Rib, though the Hawaiian Bacon and Beef Short Ribs were just as amazing. Most impressively, our server was aware of a shellfish allergy in our group and quickly swapped out cooking utensils and changed the grill after shrimp were prepared, this level of care was truly appreciated! The manager on duty also made several visits to our table, checking in and offering more delicious recommendations, all of which we loved. The entire team made us feel so welcome that we can't wait to come back! GEN Korean BBQ in Frisco delivered an exceptional dining experience, combining outstanding service, incredible food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a memorable meal with top-tier service, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be returning soon!

Yelp
First time coming, very crowded area on a Saturday. This is an all you can eat dinner, but if you don't eat beef you might find the food a little simple. Appetizer, chicken, and rice. They had 3 or 4 types of chicken. All are ok. They bring out the food a little slow and there's only one burner so you can't really cook too much at once. There's also a note there's a 2 hr time limit, but after trying the dishes I didn't see enough to eat. Basically if you don't eat beef, there's no way you can eat your $32's. Good thing we didn't go premium for $53. People do seem to like it, but I would pass.

Briana N.

Yelp
While meat quality has definitely gone down, in my opinion, the service is still pretty amazing! We never had to wait around for the server to put in our next order. And everything we got came out pretty quickly. Granted, it was a Monday evening, but still!

Yelp
Went for a lunch which was $20 for the ayce lunch on the weekdays. We had 13 rope. Children under age 5 are free I believe. They have you scan a QR code, but I honestly prefer a physical menu for ordering. Only halfway thru did we realize that the coke drinks were included, so we finally had our pick at that time. I felt the staff was a bit undermanned as the staff was going table to table in a constant flurry of activity, trying to take orders. Perhaps the organization could use some work to streamline a little. Felt our server was great, but with a large group it was challenging I'm sure. They have a lot of cuts of beef which I've not really had before. But after a first and second round I knew what I liked. #5 Beef and the #10 cut. I found that if I cut up the short rib fingers (the rough sinew around the bones) it became more palatable. The calamari steak was great I liked it. And the rice paper is something I usually don't have at KBbq. Also a number of hot dishes that could be ordered as well like tonkatsu and chap chae. I thought the pork belly was really good as was the gen strip. I'll consider Gen again. I like the vibe, staff is good and the variety of cuts is good to see.

Yelp
Love the KBBQ here! Tons of side dishes, love the soondubu especially. Great great meat options. Really kind servers and quite efficient. I super appreciate that this place isn't as crazy busy as the Carrollton location--our group didn't have to wait at all on a Friday night!

MinKyu K.

Yelp
Appitizers are probably sitting in the freezer for god knows how long, then servers just microwave it as they getting an order. Cha dol bak ee (beef brisket) had almost no marbles or fats as it's supposed to be. Not worth the price.

Katelyn H.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Lots of options and all you can eat. We had so much fun and the service was great. Grilling the meat in front of us was seriously cool and who knew I would be the biggest fan of kimchi? My favorite was the beef bulgogi or the Hawaiian steak. Also the appetizers fried dumplings was delicious we for sure will be back!

Yelp
I was disappointed coming here on the Thanksgiving day. The store was about half full. I ordered an honey beef belly. It first came with 90% fat (not sure if this is considered edible - see pictures), and it took them 15 mins to exchange a new one. We spoke to the store manager, and he said "THEY CAN'T CONTROL WHICH PART OF THE MEAT IS BEING CUT AND SERVED."After we are done with the order, I ordered the same thing again....and we waited for 20 mins, the server keeps coming back and telling me they are working on it. I waited for 40 mins and they came back and told me they are sorry, it appeared that the order didn't go through. I don't understand why they couldn't figure that out. We've sat here for three hours and we went from hungry to full to hungry again. It was at this moment where we asked for a manager and he did what he could to salvage our holiday dinner, but the lack of awareness on the wait staff is concerning. Another point where I'm bewildered - I asked for warm water and the server said they don't have that, so I had to order hot tea and also get a glass of water. The server dropped off a glass of cold water, a cup of hot water and the tea came separately as a tea bag. I couldn't help but ask the server if you combine hot and cold water, wouldn't that result in warm water?

Yelp
This review is about the service, not the food. I am a long-time fan of the GEN restaurant chain. I have visited them in multiple cities and have come to expect a certain level of service. The service was poor from the moment my friend and I walked in the door. We walked up to the host stand and had to make it known that we were standing there because the host had his back to the door and was too busy talking to see we had walked in. Then we were seated. The restaurant was not full, so there should have been no reason why we had to wait over ten minutes for our first meats to come to the table. I had to keep asking for things that I had already asked for. The entire dining experience was just not good. I was embarrassed because it was my friend's first visit. I convinced her to come with me. This was a very disappointing meal. Someone needs to figure out the service issues as soon as possible or there will be more disappointed customers.

Kay C.

Yelp
This is not going to be a review of the food because it's consistently delicious and I'd have to write an entire essay to talk about. This is about the Frisco location's customer service. IN MY OPINION, Gen Frisco is a lot friendlier and more attentive than the Carrolton location (whom I do love). Even on the busiest weekend night, they do not fall short on delivery. Despite all the requests we typically have, they never forget anything and never make us feel like we're extra or asking for too much. The manager will sometimes walk around on busy weekend nights, all dressed up in a tux, making sure everything is good and everyone is happy. I appreciate that support he gives his servers. If you been, you know how crazy it can be & I feel for the servers. Despite the Frisco location being a bit out of the way, I do not mind driving the extra distance for the service alone. Keep it up Gen Frisco!

Alex L.

Yelp
Gen Frisco is the best place to go to for KBBQ. John, Dallas, and Nick were amazing. They had all the staples needed to have a good korean barbeque including the square rice wraps. Definitely recommend upgrading to the Premium Dinner tier.

Shihintha S.

Yelp
I've been to this Frisco Gen twice now and both times the service was absolutely terrible! The first time I went with friends for a birthday and they literally gave us a dirty bowl for the tartar sauce. Both times I went, the servers literally ignored us when we'd ask for napkins, a stove plate change or refills. We tried asking other servers when ours was taking too long and they'd either walk straight past us without acknowledgment or look me in the face and keep walking. The other thing I was really disappointed in was the portions. For the birthday we had 6-7 people and when we ordered a meat it was basically an individual portion. So we started asking for double orders and they still didn't give it to us on time. Both times I essentially left hungry and annoyed because they took so long to bring dishes out. The servers here should train at the Carrollton location because those servers are always attentive and quick! Plus that place is always packed. The second time I came to this Gen it wasn't that busy and yet our server still took ages to come over. I don't think I'll come back to this Gen location again. I love Gen but I'll stick to the Carrollton one.

Sid S.

Yelp
I enjoyed the appetizers, bulgogi beef and spicy chicken. I wish they told you a little more about what to do when cooking meat (where it's hotter on the grill or approx time to cook certain cuts of meat etc). Our server just dropped off the food and left. I also think they should bring two tongs, one for handling raw meat and the other for cooked.

Celeste V.

Yelp
Love this place so much! Cute and sexy vibe! Wait wasn't too long and staff is kind and courteous! Jonathan and Jammel took wonderful care of us and explained the menu and experience thoroughly Can't wait to come back

Amy S.

Yelp
Spencer is the best. Soju was great. Service 10/10. Would come back again for sure ....

Yelp
I am no stranger when it comes to Korean BBQ and when possible, I try to always opt for the smaller and more local businesses. I was in the mood for Korean BBQ, and unfortunately, Gen Korean BBQ House was the only one that fit the bill in Frisco. When we arrived, we were disappointed with how long the hostess took to get us seated, despite being empty. Our waitress was a rockstar and got us everything we needed, but unfortunately, the classic banchan items we typically order elsewhere were unavailable here-- no fish cakes, no spinach in sesame oil, and no cheese corn-- which was disappointing. Otherwise, two thumbs up for the Galbi and Chadol! Ambiance: Lively & loud, not so great for those sensitive to noises or trying to hold long, meaningful conversations. Perfect for fun dates/dinners

Dan F.

Yelp
Mixed thoughts on this. Appetizers came out slightly above room temperature - K.F.C.(Korean Fried Chicken), Japchae, Deep Fried Mandu. All were average. Not loving it. But we came for the BBQ - Cajun Chicken - great Beef Bulgogi - great Hawaiian Steak - one of my favs K-Gochujang Beef Belly - daughter liked, I did not Gen Premium Steak - my fav. Even better with the lime salt. Service was really fast. However they seemed to be really confused on orders. Ambiance is young, hip, and noisy.

Emily G.

Yelp
Honestly? I would happily drive to Carrollton (almost 30 min away) rather than drive 12 min down the road for AYCE KBBQ for this price/experience I got on MLK day (Monday). We were charged holiday pricing, which ok I guess - but on MLK really? I've tried to give this place a chance so many times, giving them the benefit of the doubt since it is so close to where I live in Frisco. But as a frequent AYCE KBBQ diner, I just can't do it anymore. They've downsized their portions, even MORE than before when I've visited. The meat portions are SOOO SMALL. For an example we ordered the precooked ribs, and it included two small ribs the size of my finger. The galbi quality and size was very sad. I could go to the grocery store and get better quality. We had a party of 5 and each order of meat we got was enough for 1 person. Also, we got our orders of meat before we even got our included rice and banchan (side dishes). We waited for it to be brought but we ended up having to ask our server for those items. Even after those were brought, we also never got our trio of sauces (sesame oil, salt/pepper) that I know always comes with the meal. For the price we're paying, we did not get the quality or service that reflects. Especially when I can drive to Carrollton and get something 10x better. I would make the drive to Carrollton.

Scott K.

Yelp
This review is just based on the food. Service was fine. 4 pieces of banchan? Not very Korean. When you first started Gen there were 4 times more...what happened? Gave this another chance since it's received 4 stars now per yelp reviews...but doubt I will be back. $200 for a family of 5??!! Biden economics? Or you guys just squeezing customers? Best part of the meal was the salad. Meats were as expected from a mediocre AYCE, cant point to anything above par. I just don't get the 4 stars.

Helen G.

Yelp
Coming in on a weekend, the service was great! They paced themselves and Carlos, our server, made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was super friendly and fast! The food itself is also pretty good, the cuts were great this time and consistent. As usual I love the honey beef belly and Galbi, as those had the most flavor. The brisket this time was cut a little thick and didn't have much marbling at all, making it a bit tough, but their fattier cuts were really good! Their sides like soondooboo soup, salad, cheese tonkatsu, and hotteok dessert were also nice for options of flavor, and all of these were pretty good too, not mind blowing amazing but pretty good, especially for AYCE. They were really good about changing the grills whenever it got burned, always refilled water, and really paid attention. Really awesome service! The interior is also modern and spacious, and at night it looks fancy lol. One of my regular KBBQ places, even though it is a little pricey, the food is great and the service was stellar!

Cory H.

Yelp
This place is really nice. If you enjoy the Korean BBQ aspect of cooking your own food you will love it. They have so many great menu items on the regular menu to choose from and when you leave you are going to be stuffed. Because this is all you can eat our server kept asking what meats we wanted once we finished cooking. You are allowed to order up to 3 meats at a time. They also have some items that are already cooked if you don't wanna prepare your own food. I was really pleased with my experience and definitely wanna come back here with a large group.

Genesis R.

Yelp
This was our first time having Korean BBQ and we were completely blown away. We opted for the premium option and do not regret it. The choices available were endless!! Since it was our first time, our server Noah was super helpful and informative. He made our experience amazing! Noah was very attentive. We didn't need to wait for our next dishes long at all. It was the best meal! The protein was fresh, well seasoned, and easy to cook. The ambiance was so welcoming too! We weren't too close by other patrons, we were able to peacefully enjoy our dinner. We will be back soon!!

Omar M.

Yelp
The food was up to par, but I'd have to say the atmosphere was a big miss. I don't know if there's anything at all they can do about the extremely slippery floors, but it was definitely a safety issue especially for our elderly family members. The Friday night ambiance is typically busy and loud, but the night we went, the kitchen staff's Tejano music was competing against the music the restaurant was playing and it was winning! It almost felt like we were at a Carneceria instead of our beloved Korean BBQ restaurant. These may seem minor to many, but it should make us all wonder, if management can overlook what's out in plain sight to their customers, where else could they be making compromises?

Andrew H.

Yelp
Great all you can eat spot. The one in Carrolton is a lot better but this is a solid spot. Delicious meat and loved eating here. Worth the money and our waiter was super polite and respectful. However The floors were very sticky and it was a little nasty.

Joanna Q.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I come here all the time. Compared to the Gen Korean BBQ in central Houston, this specific establishment is top notch. The manager is awesome and he was even our server one time! The inside is huge, so the wait is never too long. Their meat is fresh and the give generous amounts of sides. I find myself craving their premium menu wagyu all the time, alongside the normal menu's galbi. So good!!!! The servers are always accommodating and friendly and the ambiance inside is comfortable, especially with the dim blue lighting. We always leave this place smelling like barbecue, but with how good this Frisco location is, we don't mind one bit.

Jacob K.

Yelp
I really loved going to Jen, but the owners are F'ing morons. Twice I've gone to this location to grab lunch, during the week, and was told "sorry, dinner pricing all day today." Once was because it was the day AFTER 4th of July. So even though July 5th was a weekday... it's a holiday? WTF? And again, tried to go yesterday, a regular Friday at 12:15pm... sorry, apparently noon on Friday is also not eligible for the lunch pricing because it's also the weekend already. I'm done with Jen.

Traves N.

Yelp
Christain the manager was EXCEPTIONAL! I love how he genuinely wanted to check on us and ensure we are being taken care of. Charles our server is one of the BEST servers I've ever experienced. If you've never had Korean BBQ. Check this one out first and ask for Charles.

Brindha N.

Yelp
Amazing food and ambience. Always where the kids love to go. It is an experience. Great meat and

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Love love love! Stopped by for lunch and the lunch prices are unbelievable. Staff was welcoming when we walked in, party of 3 for us. We were all first timers and the waiter was very helpful in explaining the menu and how it works. We decided on several appetizers- the rice sticks, cheese tonkatsu, KFC, and the mandu. I had to stop myself from over doing it on appetizers to save room for the main course. They were all so good! For the meat, we chose 4 options - the teriyaki pork chop, garlic chicken, honey chicken, and beef bulgolgi. My favorite was the bulgolgi followed by the pork chop. This place is super cute and could be a great place for a date night or friends night out. It was fun cooking at the table and was an experience, not just a meal. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Clau D.

Yelp
I love the vibe & energy of this place! Food is always fresh, i love the sauces, seasonings they bring you... before they used to bring you salad i don't why this time we didn't get any., but overall if you are looking for a fun, hype place this is a must... but make sure to make reservations for weekends since is always pack!! I took a star because we went on a Monday wasn't that busy and service was not good. I had to ask my server several times for rice, cold glass etc. ( maybe he was having a bad day! )

Anna O.

Yelp
The food was good, I got to admit. But cmon, why scam us like fr? We're paying $50 FOR THE PREMIUM DISHES. WE EXPECT TO GET THEM RIGHT? Nah. So first round we got the Premium Beef Brisket (Premium Chadol NOT THE REGULAR ONE.) fantastic. It was good so we decided to order some more. We ordered it and started cooking it. After it was done, My boyfriend tried it and said it tasted different. So then I decided to try a piece and what do you know. It was regular. We tried ordering in again and WE GOT THE SAME THING. Please improve on getting orders right, especially if we're paying $50 for the premium stuff.

Lisa J.

Yelp
This was a terrible experience. I don't write bad reviews often but this has to be mentioned. First red flag was that I was the only Korean eating there, that was my mistake. I should've known better than to come here. Went on a Wednesday night and got sat right away at 6:10 to wait on the rest of our party. Our server greeted us over 10min upon sitting and only brought us water. He didn't bother to check on us until another 20min. He didn't ask when the rest of our party would arrive either and didn't attempt to get the table set up promptly for us to start ordering. The rest of the party arrived and we didn't get him back for another 10min. He only grabbed water and rice and came back another whole 10min to ask if we wanted to order. His attitude was very unwelcoming and annoyed-- it's not hard to do a customer service voice. Our experience for the rest of the night was horrible. Meat came out in small portions. I was shocked because other places have the meat cover 90% of the plate rather than the plate being 80% of the order. The meat quality was cheap as expected and I thought the marinades should've saved it, yet nothing did. We had to ask for sides/veges when the Gen we usually go to in Carrollton already brings them out without a word. Our water glasses took forever to get refilled bc our server was never around and we had to ask multiple times for him or someone else to notice. The server forgot our salad refill as well. He was so reluctant to ask us questions even tho we say please and thank you. The last round of meat we ordered only came out with 1 spicy brisket instead of the 1 spicy brisket, 1 bulgogi, 2 rib fingers, and 1 galbi. We waited for 20min for the rest to come out but it never did. Ridiculous. The only good thing was the guy with the arm tattoos who changed out grills constantly. At least someone was doing something for us without us waiting to catch them and ask for help. My partner paid ahead for the group and asked if someone could come by our table and say our check got comped so we could leave with our guests. The host girl said yes ofc and that she'd come by and do it herself. She didn't. My partner asked a manager of some sort (a man in a grey cardigan) to do the favor. That man also said it was sweet of him to pay for the meal and ofc he could do us a favor. He didn't come by. Our guests were not happy that they couldn't at least fight for the bill bc we had to be the ones to tell them it was alright to leave bc we already took care of the tab. I had heard bad things about Gen but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. It's actually horrible. The server we had was so rude and non-present for an AYCE establishment where constant ordering is needed. The kimchi tasted sour, not like fermented-sour but like it was expired. The soups were either extremely salty or super bland. The japchae was disappointing to eat from how bland and extremely chopped up it was. There is no vent in sight near the grill so smoke is blowing all over the place. Would never bring anyone here again. I was embarrassed to bring my partner here because he has never been to Gen before. He paid for our meals despite all this. Do not come to this location if you do like Gen. If anything, find other establishments bc this brand has been awfully Americanized. No Koreans approve of this KBBQ.

Tim G.

Yelp
I got the meat sweats literally thinking about the meal I had last night. You know place is good when it's packed on a Monday. The decision was made to have ayce korean bbq at 5pm. That is the most idea time for the best experience. Take no time when it comes to ordering. This place has a 2 hour limit and they will kick you out. However good luck sticking around that long if you like to stuff your face. I highly recommend that you get all of the meats and avoid any carbs for the most efficient meat sweats experience (™). Some highlights that I really enjoyed were the yangyum galbi, premium steak, and garlic samgyubsal. You'll see on the receipt that we tapped out after only ordering 15 plates and feasting on numerous bonchon that was available to us. Each station has garlic dipping oil, salt and soy sauce. Service was good. We got our plates switched out multiple times during the dinner service and drinks were refilled quickly. We never waited more than a few minutes in between courses but thay was partly due to how we ordered. Our waiter checked in with us often to see if we needed refills on meats. Overall a solid experience in my book and I would highly recommend it for groups.

Emily J.

Yelp
My bestie lives nearby and took me here while I was visiting her because the town where I live doesn't have Korean BBQ at all. This hit all the right spots! We went with some friends of hers so we all ordered everything to enjoy- galbi, chicken, calamari, bulgolgi, pork chop, honey chicken. It was delicious!

Selena D.

Yelp
I visited during lunch, and while the food was good and the place wasn't too busy, the service left much to be desired. They also ran out of a few meats during lunch time, which was disappointing.

Nikki G.

Yelp
We love coming here, and it has been a frequent spot for our friend group whenever we celebrate a birthday, or have friends visit. The staff is always incredible - we really love Christian~ He never fails to crack us up every time we come in! The food and service was incredible as always, you can always ask for more of anything which is lovely. Last we visited was on 10/2, for our friend's birthday and we all had such a wonderful time. Big thanks to all the staff who made our friend's birthday so special! We look forward to the next time we visit~

Yelp
These days I actually rate Gen 5-star because they have upped their game across the board with my recent visits... really at both locations - Frisco and Carrollton. What I have noticed is that their staff is much more attentive and helpful (trained way better than before) and their meat selection (how they cut the meat and quality of meat) has also majorly improved. I love how Gen is big and open. It is a great place very family get togethers and being able to enjoy a good meal with friends and family. Our waiter this time, Art, was awesome and I could see was working so hard to keep up with the pace of customers and tending to everyone's requests. We will be back of course and will continue to be regulars to Gen!

Yelp
This location is always super busy, but the service is reliable. We recently visited, and Eric was waiting on us. Hands down one of the best waiters we've had at Gen. He was very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
The first time we went here, our server was great, the food was amazing and the overall experience is what brought be back a second time. Unfortunately, this time the server was the main issue. We ordered or food and it took forever to come out. The soju we ordered was not what we got and when i asked the server about it he said they ran out of what we actually wanted so we ended up paying more for something we didn't order. When the food finally came out it was one thing at a time and none of our sauces were there, none of our sides, just the meat. We cooked it thinking our other plates would come out shortly but they never did. My glass of water was empty for almost the entire meal and then when i finally got a refill it was warm water with no ice, not room temp, but warm. Once we finished eating all the meat they finally brought out the sides and sauces. Horrible server that clearly just didn't want to help us as he went to every table around us, looked at us, and completely ignored us on a couple occasions. Hope it was a one off and hope we can experience a better server next time.

Yelp
FOOD All-you-can-eat KBBQ! Absolutely love the side dishes here and the meat. There's a selection of beef, pork, chicken, seafood, etc. My party ordered mainly the Honey Soy Beef Belly which is marinated and tastes so good, the Premium Chadol which is a classic, Hawaiian Steak, Beef Bulgogi, Pork Bellies of all different kinds, and so much more. VIBES If you have never been to Korean BBQ you should definitely try it. You cook your own meat to how you like it. Very fun place to catch up, especially in evening times though dinner prices are more expensive so I usually like to go for lunch. Very fun and casual vibes. SERVICE This time I wasn't super pleased with the service. It just took really really long for servers to come get our order. The server guy came to change the grills and said he would be back to take our orders but it took 10-15 minutes for him to come back which was a little disappointing. Usually the service is pretty good and fast, this time just a little lacking.

Yelp
Great vibes, great food and great service. By far my favorite Korean BBQ spot, there's always good music playing and the servers constantly make sure you have what you need. If you go for dinner during the weekend there's typically a 20 minute wait but it's definitely worth it!

Yelp
Love this place! Easily my go to place for KBBQ. Food is always great. Drinks are awesome. Service is always solid. And the vibes are real Stay Kidz style. There is always a table open for us and it's at such an awesome location that allows for after kbbq boba tea, dessert, and shopping.

Yelp
I've been more than a couple times. It's used to be more than ok. But it's changed a lot. The food taste wise is more on the sweet side. The service now is lacking. First the only thing you get is rice and meat. You have to ask for banchan. I didn't know this and I sat there like a dummy waiting for my waiter to come so I can ask for some. They weren't that busy so I don't know what the hold up was. Only got a refill on my water once. They are trying to go ala carte. The banchan I did ask for...one was the wrong one and the other was frozen!!! How do you bring new frozen radish wraps??? I sent it back. Ambiance is the only thing they got going for them. I won't be going back there.
