My first hostel and it is probably gonna ruin hostel experience for me, for being so good! The room and bedding were so clean and tidy. Having just 4 people in each hostel room made things less awkward and fun. Had some great quick chats with the roommates. Do bring a pad lock if you are staying in the hostel. The swimming pool is of a nice size too, with towels and benches for people to use. 4 stars for location only because it is on a hill away from the metro.

Rooms are very clean and well designed. Mine had a view of Washington Monument albeit from a distance. The hostel restaurant charged Hilton prices so I went across the street to the Hilton for breakfast and dinner as the dining atmosphere is a bit nicer. There is no kitchen, not even a microwave. Not exactly close to the train and waits for the bus were not short.

The stay at Washington DC overall was good, specially the location because is very close to the bus stop and the metro. the bedroom was very clean and neat, the decor was cool and the room had a nice view, the team was very friendly. The second day I did perceive w33d smell coming from the hall and getting into the room. I think they could have been more supportive when our flight was cancelled due to bad weather, since they had a promotion of 3 nights for the price of two announced, and we had already paid for two nights. Our flight cancellation forced us to stay one more night, but we had to pay for it The other thing that I could not understand was how difficult it was to get water inside the hotel. they had a vending machine in the B1 but apparently it wasn’t working properly because once you selected the water for 2$ the price changed to 20$. For the Gen Cafe, the breakfast was okay but the coffee tasted burned.

I stayed here for one short night while I was in and out to see a concert. First off, the place makes a GREAT visual impression. It's clean, colorful, and artsy. I really liked the vibe. There's a lot of communal space to work with here. It's also only a 10 minute walk to the DuPont Circle Metro station. I arrived in DC much too early to check in, but I had no issue leaving my bags at the counter and going sight-seeing for a few hours until 3pm came around. (In fact, they let me in closer to 2:30pm.) I stayed in a shared room, and the facilities are very nice. Everything appears clean and almost new! My only caveat is that the bunks are noisy if you're moving around, and that can be challenging for a shared room. I got home late from the concert and got up early to catch a flight, so I feel bad for my roommates. All in all, this is a fantastic choice for any solo traveler. Highly recommend!

Stayed in a hostel room there for a few nights, great experience, was just like a hotel room with extra people, super clean, great service. Yvonne and Kristen at the front desk were especially helpful and took there time to make my visit extra amazing. I would highly recommend checking this place out :D

First off, i love the outside seating! I sat outside for hours with my kids and just enjoyed the scenery! We then went inside and got an omelet, a croissant and breakfast salad! My kids loved it and the portion was big enough that 4 of us shared it. The staff brought the food out to us and made sure we had everything we needed! I will DEF be coming back here again!

I recommended this place to my friends who came to the dmv to pass a week-off. They loved the place, rooms and general areas very clean and everything well-working. "It's almost in the center of DC and literally on the Metro red line" which makes it great to move through the public transportation. Some of my friends speak Spanish and found the help of the secretary at the front desk (Ivonne) like hand in glove! They liked a lot their exp in this place. Glad I made a great recommendation!
