Geno's Steaks

I was really looking forward to trying out the famous cheesesteaks in Philly, but unfortunately, this place didn't quite live up to the hype. Even though it's an airport restaurant, I believe they can do better! The meat was bland and tough, the roll lacked cheese and was too soft, and don't even get me started on the sky-high prices for bottled water! Plus, I couldn't help but wonder, why wasn't the meat chopped? There's definitely room for improvement here, and I hope they take some serious steps to up their game!

These jawns are perfect for a layover or an anytime snack. Whiz without is where it's at! The counter staff is always friendly, Even when out of counters step up to the counter and say "I'll take a cheese steak sandwich"

Staff was amazing! The food was absolutely the worst meat ever I swear I think it looked green. Was cold and tough as a boot!! Coming from Dallas I expected big things….. let’s just say Philly can keep its little nasty cheesesteak!

On my way to Washington DC I stopped in Philly and picked up a cheesesteak at Geno’s. I love their steak sauce. It adds more favor and some heat to the cheesesteak. Wish I could have taken it home with me.

Geno’s Cheesteaks to me is the best Cheesesteak vendor in the Philadelphia Airport - far better than it’s competitor Jim’s Steaks. Tasty (though often precooked steak meat when busy - that wasn’t good!), cheese and the roll is also great. Staff was friendly (the 2 guys making the food) except for the lady at the register who couldn’t manage to smile. Friendly service goes a long way!!! They do get slammed when busy so allow time to wait if busy. Totally worth it but is what it is.

Eh the airport version isn't quite up to snuff compared to in town. A little light on the meat and hefty on price. The cheese fries were the same. The wait time was not bad maybe 7-8 minutes.

The cheese steak was exception. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Long lines every time I pass by so I knew it would be food.

I went to the airport site as I have been to the main location in Philly and had a great sandwich. The airport location is a black mark on your reputation. Unseasoned, flavorless, meat not chopped up at all. No amount of ketchup or hot sauce made it any better.
