Some of Cooking’s Biggest Names Are Attending This LA Chef’s Conference | Eater LA

"A long-running Alhambra Italian restaurant marking its 39th year with a grand reopening party on May 18–19 under a new owner-and-chef team. The new leadership—Hugo Molina and Aricia Alvarado—aims to preserve the restaurant’s staple dishes while introducing influences from Molina’s previous work at places like Parkway Grill and Crocodile Cafe." - Farley Elliott

Google
We came here as a party of 4 and wow what a find! This little mom-and-pop Italian spot is cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. The customer service? Absolutely amazing. Our server was a rockstar super friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make the kids feel included (which doesn’t always happen at other places). We tried the Calamari, Sausage Link Sandwich, Italian Sandwich, Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo everything was delicious! Is it the best Italian food I’ve ever had? Maybe not, but when you combine really good food with top-notch service, it’s an experience that’s more than worth it. If you’re looking for a hidden gem in the neighborhood with a true family-owned feel, this is the place. Highly recommend checking it out.

Google
this place is SOO good!! literally so happy that it’s here in alhambra - if you’re not careful you can totally miss it as it’s a small mom & pop shop, but trust me you’ll want to try it!! i’ll admit, I was hesitant to try Genovese’s at first because I saw it’s rated 3.6 stars, but i looked into them and most of the low reviews were from years ago during COVID, which I don’t think gives the current experience a fair shot. i’m really glad I gave it a chance because this place totally won me over! my favorite thing is their $50 dinner special for two—it’s such a good deal at $25 per person. Each person gets an entire plate of spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, their choice of wine/beer/soft drink AND you get to share a pizza. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the vibe is welcoming with the friendliest staff. so happy i found them!

Google
Great little gem. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff is incredibly friendly. Street parking.

Google
OH MY FULL TUMMY AND HEART. Felt from the moment we walked in, and it shows all the way through the food. Comfort food naww... takes you to your happy place and fills it with amazing, richly seasoned, and lovingly cooked food. Our hostess welcomed us and treated us as if we were long-time customers. My new monthly Italian spot.

Google
1st of this place was walking distance to the GreenTree Inn. Both Genovese and GreeTree were the cutest, cleanest, best service, best price. Genovese had great clams and angel hair pasta. The serving size was great. The pizza was delicious. The service was so serene and friendly. This place is definitely a come back.

Google
Omg…. This is a must! Absolutely hands down best fettuccine Alfredo and cheesy garlic bread, I’ve ever had! Cute little mom and pop feel too it!

Google
Great food at great prices. Available parking is limited. At times the speed of service can be slow depending on how busy it gets so give yourself plenty of time to sit back and enjoy. The dining room is very tiny but there is also outdoor seating. Inside there are 3 tables for four, and 3 tables for 2. They also offer the SuperSize, XXXLarge 24" pizza for your parties. Two Thumbs UP!

This was my first time there, and the atmosphere was great. The food was amazing. I loved it. 😋 you must go.

Yelp
Genovese's is our families spot. I been coming here since the early 1980's it has a new for last ten or so years it's a small and giving you still amazing pizza!! Before the pizza's couldn't fit thru the door so you turn your box's side way's But now it's wheelchair accessible with a wider door today. The largest pizza is 36 ' inch still the same sauce and topping. Today we stop for lunch and we had the lunch specials The owner is Chef Hugo and owner. Service is excellent Karina has been here forever! She amazing she runs the lunch and dinner inside and out and there's a back patio very cute and the front has tables back before the pandemic you had to wait in line for a table. But let share the love here keep it going here. Karina has know my brother for awhile now and what he like all the menu but no cheese my brother he likes it here cause it close by to his home and he's regular here. It's always clean and very fresh food The owner always comes out to ask you how it going too Air conditions is great here and cool inside too it get hot in the summer afternoons but nights are cool in the patio's. All we love the pizza and food from here

Yelp
Don't let the number of stars deter you from trying this place -- it's truly a gem! (And the reviews are from before the change in ownership) I've gotten takeout from here multiple times and I have been thoroughly impressed with everything I've tried. The food is reasonably priced and all is delicious. Items that I have ordered include: - Genovese's Special Pizza: We got the large and it is MASSIVE. It fed me for an additional 3-4 days. The crust itself is sweet and could easily be eaten with some nice high quality butter. I'm not usually a fan of olives and green peppers on pizza, but I didn't mind eating it on this one whatsoever. I didn't feel like the pizza was overly greasy either but felt that each ingredient was high quality. - Apple Curry Chicken Salad: MY FAVORITE SALAD. Yes you need to use both dressings. The takeout portion is HUGE and makes me so happy while eating it. I could easily eat this as my main and be satisfied. - Chicken Scallopini: the angel hair pasta helps soak up all the flavor of the sauce. I was a little disappointed from the last time I got this to go because there was not that much pasta in the dish. I ended up making some spaghetti at home to soak up the rest of the sauce, but it also didn't taste as good as the angel hair pasta. So if you need more pasta to sauce ratio -- make sure its angel hair that you boil at home. - Penne Vodka: classic and delicious. I have no notes. Delicious. - Lemoncello Cake: Not available online but you can order in person. It may be an "off the menu" item but I feel like most people know about it. The restaurant can be easy to miss so don't drive too fast past it!

Yelp
I came in not long after they opened, was sat and ordered straight away. Food came quickly, service was good. I thought my food was fine, I think I'll order a pizza on the next visit. Some room for improvement could be had on their ordering systems through apps. While dining in, I overheard 2 different parties come in with orders on an app and the restaurant reported they had not received them. The waitress and one of the cooks were trying to troubleshoot on their end, but they appeared to be struggling. I personally love the ambiance, it's quaint and simple. I did, however, find a couple spiders in the bathroom .

Yelp
The food 10/10, the service 10/10, the ambience 10/10 !! I ordered the Tuscan Salad with chicken instead of shrimp and a slice of lemoncello cake, it was all magnificent. If you're in the area I suggest stopping by and sitting in the outdoor area, you wont regret it.

Yelp
Cute patio space, homey and eclectic. Everything is self-serve; dinnerware is in the armoire. The waitress looks busy and overwhelmed. The sandwich looks like a deli sandwich and lacks presentation. The minestrone soup is on the acidic side; a chunk of cheese in the soup is a nice touch for flavor, but again, the presentation... it looks like a piece of floating booger. But of course, the pizzas seem to be their main thing, and they did not disappoint. I asked for thin crust and extra cheese on the margherita and quite enjoyed it. The salad was great, very fulfilling, with 10 pounds of veggies, and the prawns were nicely flavored. Good spot to sit on the patio for a relaxing lunch, like a little oasis away from the city. The urinal in the bathroom is unusually tall, not friendly for my fellow Asians.

Yelp
We tried Genovese's for the first time today, because of an Instagram reel we saw. We were craving pizza and wanted to order a margharita pizza, but were told they were out of basil, at 6pm on a Friday night. So we ordered some calamari and a Genovese's special house pizza. The calamari was sub-par and the portion was meagre. The pizza took a long time to arrive, and I would give it a B rating. There was too much cheese and an uninspired crust. The service was friendly but lacking. It took several requests to get what we asked for. Being charged $1 for a small dish of pepperoncini was the final insult, that lead to this review. I'm surprised they didn't charge us for the parmesean cheese! One of the dessert options was a tiramisu, but they were also out of it. The outside patio was enjoyable with a friendly atmosphere, however, we will not be going back.

Yelp
I've been coming here regularly since the change of ownership. The food has improved and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. My go to is the chicken Parm sandwich. It's so big that I order it for lunch and save the 2nd half for dinner. For dinner, I'll order the fried calamari and antipasto salad and have them bring it out at the same time. Perfect dinner! And the service is always friendly. I've been going for long enough that they put my order in as soon as they see me walking in the door. Plus I would rather support a small local family business than a chain where all the food is microwaved or poured out of cans.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the food! The manager Roz is amazing. She was very attentive and service was great! I can't wait to go back for the pizza again!

Yelp
I love genovese's! It's the perfect size for one :) The chicken Alfredo is great along with a bbq chicken pizza and some chicken wings! I love chicken as you can tell. Service is great very friendly. I love the outdoor seating area it's very chill and relaxing.

Yelp
I used to go here years ago. I don't know how it is now. But from what I remember it was good!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is tucked away in a small place on Main St, but both the food and service were good; the price was reasonable too.

Yelp
This place has really good food. Karina is the best waitress. Been coming here for over 20 years. The best.
google avatar

Yelp
Love coming here for a nice pizza and some wings extra crispy mind you.. fam enjoys its quality pizza for the price you pay will be coming back forever
google avatar

Michele F.

Yelp
Karina is back! Customer service is everything. The dinner specials are so worth it. $50 for spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, salad, wine and garlic bread for 2! Nothing is affordable anymore but the dinner deal is! Go get some!
google avatar

Patrice L.

Yelp
I've been ordering from this place for over 25 years and it has been amazing every time! Antipasto salad and pepperoni pizza has always been my go to
google avatar

Selene B.

Yelp
Always great food! Very good customer service and easy to call ahead and pick up! Love the little patio and they are good to my doggy when I have brought her in! One of our favorite places to order from!

Cindy T.

Yelp
SOOO tasty!! I'm so happy I finally tried them, I've been seeing the food on their Instagram and it's been on my list, and I finally went this weekend and I'm glad I did. I got their lasagna, and my friend got their fettuccini alfredo. You can tell that they make the food fresh. the service is great too. Would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Yelp
Our favorite was ambiance. There are several guest but it's not loud and overcrowded. The music was perfection fit for a date night(which my husband and I were having). The staff were friendly and helpful at every moment. We had fried calamari, meatballs, garlic bread and soup, all delicious. It's a cute little mom and pop Italian place. My husband did not like lemonade it tasted like the bottled kind.
google avatar

Monica M.

Yelp
I'm surprised this gem isn't rated higher. I tried this place for the first time moments ago and had to come on here to review it. EVERYTHING my sister and I had was so fresh, authentic and delicious. We had a pizza that we shared which was so yummy. We also had chicken picatta, Italian sub and minestrone soup. Everything was so flavorful! The restaurant is small inside with 4 small tables but they also offer plenty of outdoor seating. It screams mom & pop spot. It's so darling. Parking was not a problem. I look forward to my next visit!
google avatar

Yelp
We were staying at a hotel up the street, and was looking for a walkable place to eat when we saw this Italian eatery. It is a small mom & pop (?) place, where you order at the counter, go sit and they bring your food to you, type place. Not only was the customer service great, but what we had to eat was outstanding!! I had the Linguine & clams... My wife had the chicken parmigiana sandwich And our 2 vegetarian friends, had a pizza and eggplant parm sandwich They do have limited beer and wine, plus sparkling water. We will definitely be back next time we are staying in this area!
google avatar

Yelp
Small place they also have seating outside . Pizza was good and the spaghetti was also good. Ice tea was served in a plastic cup, dressing for the salad was a in a tiny container.

Yelp
First time ordering pizza and wings. Ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. When I arrived the lady at the register was rude and told me she didn't remember seeing my ordered. She asked if it was paid online and I said yes. Another gentleman came out and said my order was ready. My daughter ordered a drink, we paid for it and then she looked at me and said, what are you waiting for and I said we are waiting for the drink we just paid for and she said oh I forgot. That lady needs to work on her customer service skills. For that reason, I am never going back. The pizza was mid and the wings were not good. I'll take my money to another local business.

Yelp
Where do I start? I found him! One year ago I was thinking about this restaurant in The city of Whittier ( Seta') who made this amazing apple curry chicken salad. Unfortunately the business closed several years ago. Long story short, I had this idea to find out who the chef was at Seta' and see if I could find him at any other restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area and boy did my determination and research pay off! Chef Hugo Molina, I found YOU, here at Genovese Italian Kitchen and the best part is, you kept this salad on the menu. It's worth the drive, I hope my Whittier area patrons read this review because just like me, I'm certain they miss this salad too. The location is easy to find, the ambiance is cozy and the service is excellent. The hostess/ waitress who I told this story too a year ago when I walked In, is a family member of Hugo's. She was impressed with my story and how I came to find you here. I'll be back soon. Don't forget the blue cheese crumbles next time & bring back the butter lettuce too . Happy customer and an even happier belly!
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is great- spinach ravioli with pink sauce, a side salad, and garlic bread hit the spot for real, served by people who really care, and enjoy the food as much as you do. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. The environment is lovely and it's small, but warm, which is often times hard to do. Finding good Italian that is high quality and not too expensive is a feat, but Genoveses does the job.
google avatar

Namir K.

Yelp
If you are looking for unpretentious home made Italian served generously without extravagance, this is your place. Hugo Molina, the chef/ owner used to work at the Parkway grill in Padadena for over 17 years and that restaurant flourished under him. He made several stops at different restaurants here in LA. until he opened Genovese. Kalina the server is bubbly and prompt. They have a simple but cute outdoor seating and the inside has AC. The place is popular at least from what I see for lunch as it was constantly humming with customers. De had the $10 lunch special for that modest price, you get a drink, a nice salad , garlic bread and I chose the classic spaghetti with meatballs. The marinara was nice and tangy but the meatballs could tolerate some more spice or even some parmesan to sharpen the flavor. But for a quick and inexpensive lunch in Alhambra, that's a nice place. I will try dinner and get the pizza and another review for sure . Well done Hugo!

Yelp
This little bistro is great for a quick lunch or weekend meal. I had the Caesar salad and pasta with meat sauce. The salad had real anchovies and all the food was perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance was cute and the patio option was a bonus for a nice day.

Yelp
Great tasting food. table service is fine. The prices are fine and it's located close by.;4

Yelp
Went to dinner last night with a friend. I ordered a Tuscan salad and it was so good, so today, I went back and ordered the same salad for lunch to go. DESCRIPTION OF TUSCAN SALAD: ARUGULA tossed with lemon shallots vinaigrette cannellini beans, pancetta, and shrimp sautéed in a creamy sauce. When I got home, I opened the salad and it looked completely different!!! Whereas last night it was 100% Arugula, today, it was 90% Romaine lettuce and 10% Arugula. NOWHERE in the description does it mention Romaine as an ingredient!!!! I went back to the restaurant to complain, and the woman at the front refused to acknowledge any wrong doing, and instead, offered a very small container of Arugula!!! The salad comes in a big container...so what is the use of a small container of Arugula??? Since I could not get anywhere talking with the woman, I left the small container of Arugula and went home. Terrible Customer Service!!!! I was thinking that I had found a new restaurant to go to....but NOT!!!!

Ben I.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Closes at 8 on Fridays got there at 7.10 and they said they were closed. "We close at 7 tonight" as though we should know. No apology and not accommodating. Won't be going back.

Jannet R.

Yelp
Typically love the food here. And it's peaceful and really nice. This last time we came, we were asked to seat ourselves, grab our own menus. No one came to take our order. Keep in mind no one else was here and it was empty. Another group came in after, 6 people, Maybe 10 minutes after us. they were seated right away, and their drink orders were taken before us. Right on the spot when they sat. The waiter didn't even acknowledge we were there. Eventually they took our order but it was upsetting to experience that.

Yelp
I just discovered this restaurant a couple of months ago and had high hopes for it because it was in my neighborhood and had a cozy ambience to it reminiscent of the mom and pop restaurants of the past. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the music is tasteful and at a low volume so that you don't have to raise your voice to be heard over it. The staff are friendly, the prices reasonable. The problem is the food. The garlic bread is good, though not great for your health, and there is no substituting. The minestone is good to excellent. The entrees are a disaster. The cook seems to think that if you add enough grease and salt to the meal, people will love it. My last meal there was so salty that it gave me a kidney stone. This is not a joke. A heavy salt load can bring on a kidney stone, which it did. I'm going to wait a month or two, then give this restaurant one more try in the hopes they've gotten a new cook.

Yelp
So today was my first day trying this place out of recommendation. I happen to be around the area coming from La Mirada (long way) so I thought I'd make a pit stop into this place before heading home. So first thing I stopped on in and asked if they were open (cause the door was open but the sign wasn't on) the hostess said they would be in 15 minutes however about 5 minutes later she seated another customer. Okay no big deal that's fine. Went in to place my order 2 large pizzas and a sub. The service was okay she seemed like she was already done for the day. I get it, I've had those days. Again not a big deal. This is where it's a big deal. The crust was burnt. I can take 'okay' service for great food. I had high hopes for this one especially cause the reviews on this place were great. But my family and I were in the car disappointed when we realized during the drive home both pizzas were burnt. Not much we can do about it halfway home. So while I probably won't ever try this place again I can at least let this place know so they don't repeat this with anyone else. Not enough cheese or sauce will cover the taste of a burnt crust.

Yelp
Came here back in September. There is a small parking lot in the back and a nice patio. We sat ourselves on the Patio and went inside to let someone know we had sat down. They have a very small staff so despite the inside area being very small (only 3-4 tables) it took awhile to have someone come out of the back who I could talk to. We shared a bottle of wine and two pasta dishes. The quality of the food was good, not outstanding, or anything to write home about, but for the price I would definitely come back and eat here again. Our server was great, very friendly, and because they were out of the pasta dish my mom wanted they brought us a complimentary tiramisu, which was INCREDIBLE. I've always thought I didn't like tiramisu until I tried theirs, SO good!

Yelp
I ordered from Doordash from a place listed as "F*cking good pizza". Turns out it was Genovese's Italian Kitchen. This is apparently a common practice to scam customers. the pizza delivered was terrible. Fast food pizza, heck, even frozen pizza would have been better. Undercooked, cheap toppings, very greasy, and looks nothing like the photos on Doordash (turns out, those are generic photos as part of their scam). Never again.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food. Great prices. Cozy atmosphere. I go there every week for their lunch special. The staff recognizes me now and all I have to do is order "The Regular" now

Yelp
Food was delicious! Everything freshly made. Highly recommended pizza pasta wings salad 10/10

Yelp
It's a cute place and the customer service is terrific. Everyone who works here is super nice. The outdoor patio is clean and quaint. I've been here 3 times. I really want to like this place as it's a local eatery for me. I don't know how their pizza isn't great. But, it isn't. I've tried several times and it's just WAY over cheesed.. to the point that there are hardly any toppings. The ratio of cheese to a four topping pizza was grossly mismanaged. The pizza was also undercooked and I had to put it in my oven to make the middle not taste like dough. I really wanted to like this place because again, the people are really great, but if I wanted a triple cheese pizza, I would have ordered a triple cheese pizza, not a 4 topping pizza. Same with their pastas- they just over cheese the hell out of their food that it's just not good. IMO. Sorry, but for the prices you can find better food.

Vicente C.

Yelp
I had one of the best experiences eating here with my family. This mom and pop shop has a great ambience and a better plate of pasta and pizza. Its tradition for me and my family to go out and eat after church and this was easily a one of a kind place. The owner Hugo (half Italian and Guatemalan) and his wife are both amazing, kind hearted professional chefs that have a diverse culinary background in Italian and Latin American food. Despite the restaurant focusing on Italian food, I would one day wish to try some of Hugo's Guatemalan food. Great place for couples a well.

Yelp
Awesome food. Great service. Casual dress and good for date night. Recommend the family or group special.

Yelp
Good food, and chill ambiance. Prices are higher than comparable restaurants. So there's -1 star. Ordered 2 meat Lasagnas, large antipasto salad and fried calamari to go. (They forgot the marinara sauce for Calamari). Another -1 star. Hostess was fine, but didn't know how to use the computer. Plus I ordered a Mimosa 95% while I was waiting for my to go order. However, they didn't have any orange juice. So I really could've deducted another star but I didn't. Let's see what happens next time I come here.

Yelp
I went there last week, ordered a small pizza, looks like they used a different kind of cheese, it was watery and tasteless . Very disappointed
google avatar

Judy M.

Yelp
Great little place for lunch. Casual, with a nice outdoor patio and a good selection of affordable lunch entrees. I had the spaghetti which came with a good-sized salad (not just greens, but olives, tomatoes, cheese, carrots, etc,) & delicious garlic bread. Pet-friendly, too. My dog loved sitting on the patio & being praised by other customers. Very friendly staff. It was my first time there, but I'll definitely be back. .

Yelp
Came here for dinner before a movie with my girl and it was pretty good, had their personal pepperoni pizza, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, minestrone soup and complimentary garlic bread. Place is cute, outside seating and cozy inside seating. Staff is attentive and fast. Pepperoni Pizza was very crispy, cheesy and the crust was a little sweet, just a good tasting slice. Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken was creamy, great portion but the chicken pieces were somewhat reheated. Would have maybe enjoyed them to be grilled and or pan fried, maybe next time. The minestrone soup was tasty, garlic beard was ok. Would return for the pizza or try another pasta dish.

Yelp
I really try not to do too many updates unless there is some big difference in food, service etc... but this is a well-deserved update if you compare my previous experience and photos. After my disastrous meal 5 years ago I said I'd NEVER return there is too many good pizza places around town, so what changed my decision? New Owners! And they boasted at how good the food was so I wanted to see. They've done a small renovation since I last came closing off part of the parking lot and expanding outdoor seating, smart move for what was a tiny restaurant. Lasagna ($15.95) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genoveses-italian-kitchen-alhambra?select=x4gkGPNBII2OHo1UF2kpOQ&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg This was more of a deconstructed lasagna NOT one they is nicely layered, menu says "Sausage & Beef" but it was really lacking in meat, the marinara sauce was nice but also needed more ricotta cheese and noodles it was OK at best but not something I'd order again. 3-Stars Medium Pizza 16" ($17.50) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genoveses-italian-kitchen-alhambra?select=TP1QDpV3c2zaZ1HVak5yFw&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg ($23.50 as shown) Pizza's are priced as a single Cheese Pizza toppings are $1.50 each, now 99.9% of the time my go to pizza is 1/2 Ham & Pineapple, 1/2 Sausage & Jalapeno, since it split half and half MOST places will only change two toppings but NOT here I was charged four toppings, slightly annoying! But the pizza was fantastic. First note the perfectly cooked crust https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genoveses-italian-kitchen-alhambra?select=y3nKU8rKVWxqlj8xOtkRtQ&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg compare that to the photo of my PREVIOUS VISIT https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genoveses-italian-kitchen-alhambra?select=m_BVBB4NhbZtFqzTpxSLAw&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg Ham & Pineapple https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genoveses-italian-kitchen-alhambra?select=F79GafEyAkUyrNqSXgJC1w&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg Good amount of toppings, nicely sauced and plenty of cheese with a perfectly cooked crust. Sausage & Jalapeno https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genoveses-italian-kitchen-alhambra?select=6Eim2lhaHMdD6ryMRKD-Xw&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg Sausage had a good taste and they didn't skimp here unlike that lasagna; this was a very good pizza. 5-Stars

Yelp
I came recently with a few coworker friends on a weekday at lunch. We all ordered from the lunch special menu, with the exception of one pizza, we all agreed hands down we would all come back! First of all their garlic bread is delicious and super addicting! All of a sudden the whole baskets disappear! I got the meatballs with salad that comes with MORE bread! Ohmy! Couldn't say no and all went to my belly. Normally I'm not a big fan of marinara sauce because it's too sour/acid-y to my taste. But the sauce on the meatballs was actually sweeter than normal and great with the garlic bread. The meatball itself was delicious too and not too dense. Great lunch price that comes with a drink and you can choose wine too if you like. A great neighborhood Italian joint with patio seating.

Yelp
Been here a couple times and had about the same experience. It's a small little neighborhood restaurant which I like. Looks like a favorite for those who come in, great for families. The first time around the pizza i had was very greasy and not enough cheese, however my last visit made me forget that first pizza. My pepperoni and pineapple pizza was great. The dough tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. I was full but kept eating because my mouth was in love. haha The pizza came with the 2 spaghetti plate deal on the menu. Not a bad deal to feed a small group or family. The garlic bread is bomb! Maybe the best thing here. Me and wifey enjoyed the Chianti wine too. Where this place lacked on both occasions was in the service. While the waitress and cashier are friendly, it is way to busy for just one waitress to tend to the inside and outside tables at peak times. Items were forgotten and she only cam around after waving her down. This can easily be addressed and weren't the only table experiencing this. Tables outside are nice when the weather is good but they are wobbly and bounce around every time you put your arm on it. I would comeback but I hope they think about getting help for the dinner and lunch rush.

Yelp
Amazing service and food! Mark was our waiter he was new but that didn't stop him from helping us he was friendly and welcoming. Moe (the owners daughter? jumped in to help answer my questions and gave me some recommendations for my restrictions. PIZZA was amazing and the different sizes help you choose for any activity. My wife loved the calamari was better that any place around. We will definitely be returning.
