Had a great walking tour of Savannah this week! I’m glad we booked this tour because we learned so much more about Savannah than if we just walked around by ourselves. Juliana was a great guide. She kept everything fun and interesting. My teenage kids also enjoyed this tour. I’m very happy that we decided on a walking tour as opposed to one that is done through a bus, trolley, or carriage. You can get a better look and “feel” of Savannah when you’re on foot!

Google
We took a night ghost tour with Genteel and Bard and Jovi was our guide. For about 2 hours, you walk around Savannah's streets hearing eerie stories of the city's past and some personal stories of the guide. It was our first ever ghost tour and I honestly didn't know what to expect. But I think it was a success because I could barely sleep that night and the stories kept haunting me. It is a great way to explore and learn more about Savannah's haunted past and its general history too. I loved that they provided everyone with earphones so you could always hear the guide. Tips for the guide are appreciated. I'm not sure if I'll ever do another ghost tour but this one was surely interesting.

Google
This tour stands head and shoulders above your usual ghost tour. The guide was excellent and the group was small. Julianna was so animated and she engaged the group. I am hard to scare but these stories really got me! Do yourself a favor and book direct with a small business that’s doing it better than the rest

Google
This was my first visit to Savannah and it ended on a high note with our Genteel & Bard Historic Savannah Walking Tour. TC was an awesome host. Personable, funny, and deeply knowledgeable. He is a great storyteller and his judicious use of technology also enhanced the experience. He was generous with his time and is a wonderful ambassador for Savannah. This tour should be on every visitor's top 5 list!

Google
Scheduled a ghost tour with my wife and some close friends during a couple's weekend where we were celebrating my best friend's 40th, and the tour was the perfect way to end the day. He and I are both into creepy, unnerving ghost stories and this tour definitely provided that. Our guide or storyteller, Jared (sp), did an amazing job, and we enjoyed his storytelling method and the excitement he delivered it with. Definitely would recommend.

Google
We had an amazing ghost tour!!! TC was a phenomenal guide - I loved his excitement at the stories and retelling. He was definitely a bard, which is what I was hoping for. We learned a lot about Savannah, and it held my teens’ attention the entire night. They also use earbuds to enhance audio, which is amazing. I’ve done a lot of ghost tours and sometimes you miss the information - you do not with these earbuds. I never missed a story!! I would definitely recommend their tour.

Google
If you hadn’t already fallen in love with Savannah before, you will after this tour! T.C. Was a phenomenal story teller and guide through this enchanting city. The earbuds and transporter system made hearing his tour a pleasurable experience. Not only did he speak about the history throughout the years of the city, but also included bits of music to set the tone. I loved hearing tidbits on the oak trees that were planted by the residents of Savannah, what certain colors and architectural features held such a deeper meaning, among so many other interesting facts. His love of Savannah really shines through and puts a whole new perspective on this beautiful city. I couldn’t recommend this company more for a wonderful guided experience.

Google
We had an incredible experience on the ghost tour with Julianna as our guide! The tour took place in the evening, and we were provided with portable listening devices—such a thoughtful touch that made it easy to hear everything clearly, even with the busy city traffic in the background. Julianna was absolutely fantastic—kind, funny, and so engaging throughout the entire tour. She shared a brilliant mix of chilling ghost stories and fascinating historical facts, some of which genuinely gave me goosebumps! Her passion for what she does was obvious and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially with Julianna as your guide. She truly has a gift for storytelling and a wonderfully kind presence. Thank you for such a memorable night!

Yelp
Phenomenal tour! We've done a lot of historic tours in a lot of different cities and this was our favorite one. Our guide was a local whose family has been in Savannah for many generations. His knowledge and stories gave the tour a very personal feel. He treated us like welcome guests and was exited to tell us about the place he knows as home.
google avatar

Yelp
Not just the typical ghost tour, but an educational walk through the park (which it turns out is actually a cemetery for a LOT of people!). Our guide Julianna says she used to work at Disney, and you can tell. Her energy and style of storytelling really brings the history back from the dead (yes....terrible pun intended). The use of the wireless headset is so ingenious that I honestly don't know why it isn't standard, (we passed many tours where the leader was yelling at the top of their lungs so their respective groups could hear them). Definitely recommended!

Yelp
We took an 8pm Dark History & Ghost Encounter Tour in mid-September with tour guide Ray. Highly recommend opting for this tour, it's a great way to see many of the squares in Savannah, get a feel for the historic neighborhoods and educate yourself about some terrifying history. I actually learned a lot while also getting goosebumps a few times. Ray was incredibly informative and personable, the group size was perfect and the weather ended up being beautiful for an evening stroll. I loved the ear pieces which meant I didn't miss anything Ray explained.

Yelp
This was by far the most enjoyable tour I have taken in a city. I adored our tour guide Julianna. She was so full of life and you can tell how passionate she was about what she does. The history is totally peaking my interest and I look forward to looking further into the ghost stories of the city.

Yelp
We're visiting Savannah for cheer competition this weekend and found a groupon for this tour. It was really reasonable for us and the kids to participate. We parked in a nearby parking garage and walked about 3 blocks or so to the meeting spot. Restrooms are hard to come by but the tour guide directed us to a couple of restaurants near that allowed restroom use. CVS DOES NOT have a restroom for use. They even refused our child who needed to go pretty bad. Our tour guide was Eric and he was wonderful. He was a fantastic story teller and we felt like it was a good mix of Savannah history and relevant ghost stories. We would definitely do this tour again if we come back to visit.

Yelp
There are many ghost tours in Savannah but a very few like genteel and bards. First off, I really enjoyed the fact that this was a walking tour. The tour was led by Mr. Jovi and he was not only very knowledgeable of the history of Savannah but also just as entertaining. The tour was 2 hrs long and started and ended in the heart of historic Savannah. We learned a great deal of the sad, gruesome and the untold history of one of the oldest cities in the US with earbuds on. The earbuds made it so much more exciting... the storytelling in your ear... you catch my drift?!!:p I highly recommend this tour. We parked in the public parking lot just a walking distance from the meetup location. Come a couple hrs earlier and grab a few drinks before you head out!

Yelp
We loved our experience. The history and stories were fascinating, much I had never heard before despite other waking riding and self guided tours. Our tour guide was awesome. I wanna say his name was Jared but I forgot. He did an amazing job! We will definitely be attending again next time we're in Savannah
google avatar

Yelp
This tour came highly recommended, but our guide was horribly boring and made the tour miserable. It was so bad that we left an hour into it.
google avatar

Katherine L.

Yelp
Our group of 7 loved the ghost tour! Our guide Jovi was engaging and a great story teller. Lots of great Savannah history and spooky stories - highly recommend!
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
Bradford was our guide recently and you cannot have a better guide to the paranormal side of Savannah! On time, great technology, remembered every name! Restroom break half way through. The stories are great and hair-raising, Bradford's presentation is great, and personalized. It is a much better tour than others we have been on.

J M.

Yelp
What a fantastic tour! I'm always a skeptic on the ghost stories, so was relieved it wasn't an overly dramatic storytelling of outlandish stories. Instead it was highly educational with great historic references that made the ghost stories more relevant and plausible. TC was great! Charismatic, knowledgeable, gauged the group in terms of timing and tempo - all around a great experience. If you want a great history walking tour with the element of some supernatural mysteries woven in, then I highly recommend that this is the tour you take!

Terry P.

Yelp
Wonderful walking tour! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and interesting. If you come to Savannah, don't miss this history tour!
google avatar

Suzanne S.

Yelp
We've done ghost tours before but this one is by far the best! Ashley was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was 90 minutes of history, facts and stories about the people and the area. As a historian myself I really appreciated the way this company tells you the stories and the history of each place we stopped. Another we loved was there was a headset given to each person with headphones to hear her better. Additionally it was a relatively small group which makes it easier to keep track of. Lastly this particular group had no children on it to distract from the tour. Highly recommend this company and Ashley in particular!

Molly Kathryn C.

Yelp
Came here for a bachelorette trip and got to go on the ghost tour. Julianna was THE BEST!!!! You could tell she really cared about the rich history of Savannah. She made the experience amazing. WE LOVE JULIANNA. If you are looking into a ghost SUPPORT THIS SMALL BUSINESS! You get to walk and get up close and personal with all the Savannah ghosts;)
google avatar

Yelp
I was overwhelmed by the amount of ghost tours offered and settled on the Genteel & Bard because of the individual headphones for each patron, so I knew I would be able to hear. WOW did it turn out to be an amazing experience. First off walking tour was the way to go, way easier to be present and to get closer to the subject matter discussed that in a hearse. The tour filled the tour hours, the walk was lovely with places to sit along the way and a bathroom stop for anyone that needed it. The tour guide. Shout out to Ashley, she was clearly very experienced at tours, knowledgeable about the city and the subject matter, did a great job interacting with the tour. And maybe most importantly, really seemed into it! Really had a passion for the subject, was able to field all the questions, and was an excellent resources for the rest of the trip. There are a LOT of choices for ghost tours, I highly recommend this one. I was very impressed.

Phil H.

Yelp
It was the best walking tour I have experienced!! TC (owner) led us. He and wife have lived in Savannah for 16 years and have taken the time to talk to the locals who have lived some of Savannah's history! We experienced two hours of the music, culture and history of the town in a very interesting and engaging way, seeing six of the squares!! TC gave us new ear buds so we could clearly hear him, whether we were close or at the back. He used his iPad to show us pictures of important people, the town and its maps as it developed, and play us some of the music and speeches of this town. We experienced his love and passion for his town, its variety of people and their histories!

Yelp
This walking tour company is doing it right. It's chockfull of great history, but also such a personable and entertaining presentation. I took the Savannah Women's History Walking Tour with Ashley and I would take it again tomorrow! She's a wealth of information not only about the past, but about Savannah today. And she doesn't rush. She doesn't skimp on details. She relays the good, the bad, and some of the ugly of the past and I was completely engrossed in what she was saying. This tour is powerful and I highly suggest it to anyone looking for an easy going but charming tour. It is a longer walk and two hours, but it felt like minutes! Great price for the developed information and you can tell this is a passion for Ashley. So enjoyable!

Sandra P.

Yelp
We went on the historical walking tour with Juliana. She was an amazing guide. Her stories, pictures and stops really made old Savannah come alive. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
This was my first tour with Genteel & Bard but my 6th ghost tour in Savannah. We met in Oglethorpe square near the Owens house. We could readily identify Bradford, our guide by his hat. He checked everyone in and handed out the receivers & head sets. He also did introductions. The weather was absolutely miserable, cold & rainy but like a trooper, Bradford energetically let the tour. He didn't even have a rain coat or umbrella, so I'm sure he was as misery as everybody else. My friends left early because it was so miserable out. My husband and I stuck through to the end. It was 2 hours of walking and no areas to sit during stops. This tour takes you through alleys and areas you won't go with other tours. The only spot we came that you go with others was the Sorrel Weed house. I didn't experience any kind of spooky feeling or event. But it was a good tour, very energetic given the weather. That was impressive.

Yelp
Great story-teller, awesome walk through part of Savannah. Would recommend this first night or two in town.

Yelp
Ghost tours tend to be a hit-or-miss affair. Some are kind of cool. Some are meh. But the one offered by Genteel & Barb is worth the money and one hell of an experience. This walking tour around Savannah's historical district at night pulls out the eeriness of its dark history, thanks to our tour guide's ability to tell the stories behind each stop we made. While I can't say I encountered any ghosts per se on this tour, the feeling that you had other spirits around that wasn't human was undoubtedly the case, especially by the time we arrived at the Colonial Park Cemetery gates. Our guide had spent a few years in Savannah, specifically attending the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he spent time working at the Sorel-Weed House that is indeed haunted with evil spirits. During our tour, which started at Oglethorpe Square, just a stone's throw from the bed and breakfast where we stayed on our Mini-Moon, we made our way to the Colonial "Hanging Square," the Foley House Inn, the Sorel-Weed House, before concluding at the Colonial Park Cemetery. One of the facts that stood out for me was understanding why the sidewalks and roads were elevated and bulging upward more in some places -- due to the bodies that had been buried (especially in the early part of Savannah's history with yellow fever). The facts are pretty staggering that so many bodies are buried beneath the streets and sidewalks of the historic district. You can't even imagine and explain the energy you feel walking down the streets. If you go to Savannah and like ghost tours, this is the best one in my opinion.

Yelp
Last night my husband and I joined Bradford in downtown Savannah! What! A! Trip!! Bradford is such an exciting storyteller! He can truly bring you back to the past! There was a moment he had my husband and I walk into the alley at the same time. As I walked towards the alley, I can see shadows. As Bradford gets closer, I'm taken over by a frozen chill! I was ice cold! When we were standing further down the alley, I kept telling my husband my hands were burning. I continued to ask him over and over if there was a fire there!! Shortly after, Bradford goes to tell us about a fire! He isn't just telling us these things because he can hear us talking.... HE HAS THE VISUAL PROOF! This was one of the best adventures I've been on! Definitely ask for Bradford! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Kate P.

Yelp
What a great tour! Julianna was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining as our guide! We brought our teen daughters who also really loved it!
google avatar

Alison S.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic tour with Jovey. He starts building repoire with the group right away to get to know everyone in the group. Our tour was a good pace for 2 hours. We stopped at 10 stops in the historic area with history, a hair raising story, and even stories from past guests of the tour. The 2 hours flew by and we left with a new flavor of the history of Savannah. Thanks G&B for a lovely pre Hallows eve night,". Lastly pro tip the extra touch with audio receivers is a special touch for a walking tour. If you are unsure of which tour provider look no further this is the provider for a local tour.

Kay M.

Yelp
This company provided some of the BEST tours that we could have possibly gotten when visiting Savannah! We had our wonderful host Ashley for both the Bonaventure and Savannah History Tour and had such a wonderful time getting to hear from her! She was so kind, personable, humorous, and knowledgeable about all things Savannah. These tours were also great because they are based purely on historical fact but aren't taking away from the wonder of Savannah. I would highly recommend these tours to anyone visiting Savannah and would even more recommend taking more than one from them!
google avatar

Johanna L.

Yelp
We had so much fun last night in our ghost tour! We had been walking all day and were already pretty tired when we started the tour but our guide Bradford made it great with his creepy stories mixed with great history! My husband was so impressed with the fact that Bradford remembered everyone's names, and there were about 15 people in our tour! We had earbuds and a receiver provided by our tour so we could spread out and keep our distance. The two hours flew by and we throughly enjoyed them!!
google avatar

Jonnine E.

Yelp
Jovi was the tour guide for the coolest, most amazing bachelorette party ever. We found him to be so full of amazing spooky and macabre facts about Savannah. Highly recommend this tour!
google avatar

Jessie G.

Yelp
We went on a ghost tour last weekend hosted by Genteel and Bard that was so spooky and really informative! Our guide, Avery, was extremely knowledgeable and also very fun. The stories she told us were spine chilling, and she also threw in so many fascinating historical tidbits and facts. Something else we liked about this tour was the audio transponders and headphones each person received. It made it really easy to hear Avery even if you wandered around a bit, and it's so nice that the guide doesn't need to yell to be heard; we found that very thoughtful and a great idea. We will definitely use this company next time we are in Savannah, great experience!
google avatar

Leah D.

Yelp
What a wonderful way to see and learn about the city. Ashley was a great story teller and tour guide. She was easy going, knowledgeable and added lots of very interesting tidbits. Walk was perfect length and pace for us. We didn't have a lot of time in savannah but if we did I would recommend this on the earlier side of your trip as you may find some tips to enjoy your stay.

Yelp
I saw a lot of positive reviews on here about the nightime Genteel & Bard ghost tour but did not see many reviews about the daytime history tour. I considered a few other tours but ended up booking with Genteel & Bard just to see how it went. It turned out to be a great decision - TC, the owner was our tour guide for a 2 hour walk through the historic district. We started at Collins Quarter and made our way around several of the squares. We didn't cover much ground distance wise so if you don't want to walk much, it's not crazy but I learned so much about the history of the city and all the different stories associated with Savannah, from Forrest Gump to the civil war to Jim Williams etc.... and TC did it from a locals perspective which was great as well. He said he was a theatre major and it really showed - he did a great job presenting the tour. As others have mentioned, earbuds and receivers were provided to everyone so I could wander away from the group if I wanted to for pictures or if I wanted to check something out while still getting the narration from the group. Definitely would recommend this tour for anyone looking to get an introduction into the historic district and all the history that Savannah has to offer!

Yelp
You.Must.Go.On.GHOST.TOUR !!! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genteel-and-bard-fine-savannah-history-and-ghost-tours-savannah?select=d7eGvhiunL86X49DvANi1g&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w SITREP Nothing like already being open-minded about touring famous cemeteries and going on ghost tours of Historic Districts of Old Southern Cities - but nothing QUITE brings home the "Eerie & WTF?!?" like our tour-guide Bard looking us in the face and saying, "Whoa. You folks realize your staying in a haunted building?!?" https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genteel-and-bard-fine-savannah-history-and-ghost-tours-savannah?select=EEHp01JJe_CfqdT4GLRnaw&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w THE SETUP Cherine & I had NO FREAKIN CLUE the building we were lodging in within Savannah's Historic District was haunted! But Bard KNEW though because he had once lived in that building when his family was a bit younger, and they had to get out of there to preserve their sanity. Anyway.......suffice it to say that this Ghost Tour was absolutely remarkable and brought home the incredible historic details of this lovely city by day, and scare-the-shit-outta-you city by night. MOST HAUNTED CITY IN THE UNITED STATES This....I did not know until I got here! "Great. JUST great. What the hell are Cherine S. & Kelly H. pullin on me now?" But I have to admit: once my nerves settled and I just got used to the fact that there are ghosts around every corner at night, I just went with the flow... THE BARD We learned all this and more from The Bard as we trooped through the tree-lined streets of Savannah, in and through the parks - also the sites of young women accused of heinous crimes, but often charged for Witchcraft and other "Demonry". Even more disconcerting was hearing about how OTHER tourists on these very tours had been "touched" (one might even say "ASSAULTED") by ghosts on the tour - often leaving their mark on the person! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genteel-and-bard-fine-savannah-history-and-ghost-tours-savannah?select=bAjylik-42odGYcOIzOvLQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w DON'T LET THE PRETTY PARK FOOL YOU! Savannah is also a beautiful city full of parks. EVERYWHERE. Each neighborhood seems to have it's own park about a block in size to four (4) to eight (8) blocks in size, depending on where you are on the historic grid. Their beauty now is misleading because of what they once..... CEMETERIES, BATTLE FIELDS & MASS BURIAL SITES, OH MY! Savannah has been the site of many many battles. Historic battles. Ranging from fighting Native Americans. The Revolutionary War. And the Civil War. In fact, after securing Savannah for the North, Union General Ulysses S. Grant made Savannah his Battle Headquarters in the Confederate South from which to strike out in the all the Southern States, and which culminated in the outright destruction of Atlanta and the decimation of it's population. DEATH.....was no stranger in these here parts. But the spirits of these dead soldiers are not all unnecessarily malevolent, but rather, more tragic - and especially the children spirits who found tragedy here as well: most were the victims of terrible yellow fever pandemics throughout the last three centuries starting in the 1600s at Savannah's founding, and going all the way up to 1873 when the last major pandemic hit. The hotels we visited were often makeshift hospitals for the times, for the injured soldiers, and also for the families during these pandemics - once or twice at the same time since War can breed Disease. The hotels are haunted by the little footsteps of these children. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/genteel-and-bard-fine-savannah-history-and-ghost-tours-savannah?userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w THE LOWDOWN One of the BEST walking Ghost Tours you can ever take!

Nancy I.

Yelp
Excellent Bonaventure Cemetery Tour with Ashley. She was enthusiastic and engaging and gave us lots of information.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful! We came for the Dark History Night Tour and it was great! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and presented the stories in a way that kept our interest. We have been on several other ghost tours that left a lot to be desired. If you are interested in real history, real stories and a tour guide that stays engaged with the group then this is the tour for you. Walking around the historic district in Savannah at night can be creepy all by it's self but add in some real history and it becomes such a fun experience! Bring bug spray and water! Also you can enjoy walking at your pace since they give you a receiver and headphones to hear the tour guide even from a distance. You don't feel like you have to stay next to the guide the whole time to hear everything. FYI- At night you can likely find some metered street parking or there are a few parking garages in close distance to the square.

Yelp
Best ghost tour in Savannah... and there are a TON to choose from! Bradford was a phenomenal tour guide who had just enough mixture of history and drama! Each guest was provided with audio headsets so we could walk semi-leisurely and still here everything that was said as we walked through the streets. He was very engaging and provided a TON of great info about the history of the haunted areas in Savannah!!! PS. When we were looking at one of the houses that is now a working bed and breakfast, and older couple was in the window and saw us all on a ghost tour... so the gentleman decided to have some fun and threw a sheet on his head and acted like a ghost in the window... it was so hilarious and our great tour guide played off of it!! It was a great time!!!!

Tamara C.

Yelp
No joke, this was scary. Fun but scary. TC knows his stuff and all the legends and does an amazing job telling them and building the suspense and creepy vibe.

Haley E.

Yelp
By FAR the superior tour If you can do any ghost tour in Savannah, this one is the ONLY correct choice. The absolute best tour around!! We did another tour a day prior to this one and there's no comparison. I knew immediately when we arrived that we were in for a good night. The added headphones/tour guide microphone was a thoughtful touch. Our tour guide, Jovi, was kind, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable. Jovi made time to make the history/experiences personal and told great anecdotes throughout the tour. (His 'The Grudge' noise is spot on) The tour itself is a fantastic balance of history and paranormal activity- great for believers and skeptics alike. Extremely well done. I have no doubt that you'll wonder what (who) that bump in the night was. Bring cash- you'll want to tip your tour guide!!
google avatar

Brianna G.

Yelp
Ashley was our tour guide and she was great! She told me that she recently moved here but you'd think she'd been living here forever with how much she knows. This was the first tour in awhile that I actually heard new information. She knew how to work a crowd and get a laugh. I definitely recommend this tour!
google avatar

Carolee L.

Yelp
Ashley was a phenomenal story teller. It was such a great tour it will be one of my favorite memories in Savannah. Loved every minute of it!
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Ashleigh was an enthusiastic, entertaining host. She is clearly well-informed and continues to educate herself on all Savannah-related topics. I highly recommend her tour!

Rob R.

Yelp
We really enjoyed the walking tour of Savannah. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and the ear buds with the transmitters allowed us to hear every word over the noise of the city. Highly recommended!!
google avatar

Adrian G.

Yelp
Best haunted tour! TC was our group's guide and went in depth with the areas haunts and ghosts and added personal experiences. It was a nice walk as well!

Matt M.

Yelp
While in Savannah for business, I had a few days to kill, prior, and, though I'd been to the city several years ago, had never done a proper tour. While most of this company's reviews were for their evening ghost tours, there were a few for the daytime history tour, so I took a chance. I made the right move! TC, the tour guide, was fantastic! How many guides remember their guests names, and from where they're visiting? TC did! He was a professional actor, in another life, so his energy and showmanship is 100%. Additionally, he's born & bred in Georgia, so that shines through, too. For those worried about walking for two hours, fear not . . . I think we only covered 1.5 miles, at most. Sure, we were standing the rest of the time, but it wasn't bad. Each individual receives a pair of earphones and a receiver, to hear the guide's narration . . . so if you're in the back of the group, or pop into a store to buy a bottle of water, you don't miss anything. TC highlights Savannah's history, from inception, through the Civil War, up to today, and includes some pop culture, too (FORREST GUMP, MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD & EVIL). I work in the events & hospitality industry, so I'm probably a tough critic . . . you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Easily the best Savannah ghost tour I've experienced. The personal headphones that connected to our guide's were a surprise and incredibly helpful. The walking route was as beautiful and haunting as promised. Our guide, Jovi, was a funny, captivating, easy on the eyes, brilliant storyteller who was a wealth of knowledge on Savannah's dark history. a history buff's dream. I was also struck by how kind and respectful he was to the numerous unhoused individuals we maneuvered around on our journey. Easily 10/10 experience.

Yelp
This tour was so fun and the guide was very knowledgeable. My partner and I had a blast walking around Savannah at night and hearing all of the interesting history on the city. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Yelp
My husband and I were really excited for the Dark Encounter ghost tour as part of our time in Savannah, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. The guide tried hard to be animated but there was nothing even remotely scary or creepy on the tour. It wasn't even very interesting for big chunks of it... On top of that, we didn't cover much distance during the two hours so we didn't even get the benefit of lots of steps. We actually debated turning in our receivers and leaving the tour early. Definitely do not recommend this tour.

Yelp
Wow wow and wow again! We did the Dark history and ghost encounter tour last night with tour guide Bradford and the history walking tour today with TC. With SO MANY tours to choose from in Savannah, I had such a hard time picking the right one. I chose this company based on the reviews and they lived up to expectations and more! It was my boyfriend and I that did both tours. He is a huge history buff and me ...well let's say it was my least favorite subject in school. With that said, these two gentlemen kept my interest the entire two hours of each tour!!! Bradford was outstanding! He was so personable and I was beyond impressed with how he remembered every single persons name on the tour! His description of the stories and animation was unbelievable. Truly. He wasn't over the top and he wasn't boring. He was just the right kind of tour guide you would want! This tour was a combination of really good scary stories paired with true deep and dark history of Savannah. I really appreciated this tour. We had already booked both tours with them based on the reviews I read and I'm so glad we did. It wasn't a gimmick or fake ghost stories, you gotta do the tour to experience how awesome it was. Now today with TC was epic! He made you feel right at home immediately. He also remembers your name which is so impressive with several people on a tour. He was also animated and used accents and told these stories making you feel a part of the history. You can tell how passionate both Bradford and TC are about this city. I learned so much about the history of Savannah and it was all so interesting and intriguing. For someone who isn't super into history, I was beyond impressed with this tour. And for my boyfriend who loves history, he was just as impressed. Worth every penny. And as far as covid concerns- they provide you with earbuds (new) and a receiver that you can hear them talking up to 100 ft away so you can spread out. I really didn't know what to expect but they outdid themselves and I would recommend this company to any and everyone!

Yelp
Great tour. So much history and great stories. The tour is long, over 2 hours, and you spend much of it walking, so come prepared with good shoes and stamina. Our guide, TC, was terrific and we had a blast. What a wonderful way to enjoy Savannah at night, soak up the history, and maybe meet something from the other side... Highly, highly recommended.

Yelp
Had an awesome time learning all about Savannah's history and hearing about real people's ghostly encounters. Bradford was a wonderful guide, I was so I'm pressed that he remembered everyone's names. He did a great job of engaging everyone, asking for volunteers and having some of the walking tour members role playing the stories he was telling. We did a ton of walking so wear comfortable shoes. I loved that they gave us headphones and devices to hear Bradford so we didn't have to be squished up right next to one another.
