Second time around during this trip, to enjoy a FABULOUS meal at this hotel/restaurant. Their quality of food is outstanding, in presentation as well as taste. We loved every bite. Well done, to the team.

The hotel is really nice. Modern but cozy, comfortable and clean. Well designed rooms with range of place and big wardrobes. Comfy bathroom and super comfy, new beds. And here is other treasure - the restaurant. I have never eaten so delicious veal. Each position in the menu was fantastic. Starting with the duck, spaghetti with truffle to beef soup. Here you can find connection - tradition and modern cousin thinking. Come here and try. On top of this there is an old family tradition. Since 18th century this place is held by one family. Thank you for making our stay exceptional, we’ll be back for sure.

We spent a fantastic weekend in Hotel Gasthof zur Post, the rooms were very nice, spacious and super clean. Our stay included breakfast, there was absolutely nothing to complain about, fresh bagels, various fruits and müsli, cheese, salami, quite big variety. We managed to visit the spa area, there were 2 saunas and a jacuzzi available. The whole stay was very pleasant mostly thanks to the owners, who were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend to try the restaurant, too, especially if you like to try some of Bavarian specialties. We loved the place and for sure will come back again.

I stayed at the "Zur Post" Hotel for two nights due to a day of business meetings at the Freyung hospital. As you might have read my previous reviews from other hotels, I'm an absolute fan of family driven hotels. They offer the kind of personality you just can't find in larger chain hotels such as Mercure, Holiday Inn, etc. although this doesn't mean their staff isn't doing its best.||||This hotel is clearly a family driven hotel, and that was obvious right from my arrival. I arrived quite late at night, and the reception was already closed, Nevertheless, the lady who received me (maybe the owner?) did all efforts possible to show me around the hotel and indicate the (free!) parking space.||||The room I got was very, very spacious and as Deutsche Grundlichkeit demands clean as a whistle. The WifI access to internet is not only free, it's also absolutely very fast and stable. Wireless routers all over the place, so perfect signal. A lot of hotels offer free Wifi, but in the majority of cases the signal is very poor, and the speeds are a disaster. ||Not in this hotel: I was able to watch streaming video television news broadcasts without any interruption.||||The hotel has a wellness area, sauna and swimming pool, but I didn't visit those.||||A special recommendation goes out to the hotel restaurant. The menu card is simple, but there's all kinds of good things on it. I took a starter, a main course and a dessert, and all were very good I must say. For dessert I asked mixed ice cream, and got a beaker of ice cream you just can't believe they are able to offer at only 2,5 euro. Very nice.||||Very close to the hotel, there's the Lang brewery, that clearly modeled for the Faller HO miniature train brewery that goes very nice together with the Märklin HO miniature trains. Please don't forget to have a Lang Weissen, it's really very good. A little bit more alcohol taste than the Franciskaner Weissen, but very good indeed.||||Conclusion: very friendly service, free parking space, free stable and fast Wifi, excellent kitchen, spacious and clean rooom -> a hotel to bookmark....

During our stay we enjoyed the large rooms with good bathroom + seperate toilet , in the new wing of the hotel . Good beds and nice breakfast . Owner could be a little more friendly and we were not happy with the advice for alternative dinner on the night when their restaurant was closed . Small balcony . ||Good open parking places behind the hotel .

I came here last minute late in the evening and the staff were friendly and accomadating. The hotel has an elevator. The single room is large and has comfortable beds. The lights are a bit difficult to figure out but they work. Also wifi works.

Last Sunday we went to this restaurant for lunch. ||The restaurant is tastefully furnished and light. ||The prices are fair and the qualitie of the food ist good. ||||I can suggest this restaurant to anyone planning on having lunch in Freyun.
