Genwa Korean BBQ - Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Classic—my favorite Korean barbecue. We get an order of japchae for the table, plus we get extra kimchi. They give you all the snacks to start, and then we'll get an order of bulgogi. The second meat varies usually, but usually we'll do another type of beef. Sometimes we just do two bulgogis. And then we will do a bibimbap bowl. Sometimes we throw in some pan-fried gyoza and Diet Coke. Ask for the house salad. It's amazing." We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Google
first time at genwa’s beverly hills location and it did not disappoint! it was surprisingly empty when we came for dinner on a wednesday evening and were seated immediately. love the bigger space and that this location has long booths where only one side has the bbq grill so we could put the little ones safely on the side without. staff is super attentive, friendly and amazing with the children. at one point my 3yo started getting restless and a server showed up with a robot toy to entertain him with. they also have cute character paper plates for them to eat off of and lollipops on hand for dessert, though they make sure to have the parents’ approval before handing them out. best part is the food! their banchan is the best and we got several refills of our favorites. we went with C course for our party of 3 adults and 2 little ones and we were stuffed by the end. everything was amazing - meats were melt in your mouth, sauces flavorful and sundubu was perfectly spicy. prices are not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. we never visit LA without a stop at genwa!

Google
This was an incredible experience. The food was perfection! Our server was fantastic. Everything about our experience was great! We highly recommend the A course for 2 people.

Google
The place offers a great dining experience with high quality meats, flavorful banchan, and attentive service. Conveniently, they also have parking, making it easy to enjoy a delicious Korean BBQ feast hassle-free.

Google
Amazing Korean food! The best banchan (side dishes), which in my opinion are the unsung heroes of Korean food. The sauces were all so delicious and dare I say… that they’re all made in house? A bit on the pricey side but you won’t regret it! Part of what makes it pricier is the high quality and quantity of banchan so don’t forget to ask for a refill (or two!)

Google
An enjoyable night. We called for a reservation, and as soon as we got there we were brought back very quickly. We got package E for 5 people, and it came with a nice assortment of food. The service was superb, and the staff was very kind and explained everything well. They cooked the food for us in the grills at our table, allowing us to converse without worrying. The food was cooked perfectly and was at a very nice quality. My only qualm was the price: around $500 for drinks and tip for 5 people. The menu prices were not posted online, red flag. Unlike many other Korean bbq restaurants we’ve visited, the food is unlimited. Here, not the case. If you want good quality food and are able to forgo the unlimited quantity (and have a deep as hell wallet), it’ll be a great night. If that bothers you, I suggest to look elsewhere.

Google
The food was really good and fresh. Loved grilling everything right at the table. The flavors were spot on, and the staff was friendly without being over the top. Definitely going back.

Google
Food was really excellent and service was good. We ordered lobster, shrimp and scallops and they were all cooked by the waiter. Then we followed with an order of marinated beef and it was tasty and tender. I have no idea of what any of the side orders were, buy most of them tasted great. Service was very good but not great. Very pricey but worth the experience.

Google
They burnt all our BBQ - which didn’t taste anything special anyway. Knowing Korean food very well and having been to South Korea and eating Korean across the US, Singapore, Dubai and other countries, I can confidently say that their Bibimbap was the worst I have ever had (old and none-fresh ingredients, very dry rice, non-cooked potato and flavorless). They forgot to bring out some dishes on time so they ended up remembering to bring them out as soon as ordered the bill. Very disappointed with this restaurant and questioning if they only served us left overs or if their google reviews are authentic to start with! The only and I MEAN one and only good thing about this place is the wide variety and abundance of appetizers (Banchan) they brought out to the table. These were actually not bad at all.

Yelp
When the folks come in from out of town, this is a great destination. You can likely get all they offer much cheaper in K-Town, but this is an experience. Beautiful ambiance as you grill meats at your table with 12 sides - Yes, I said 12)

Yelp
I love Korean bbq and had to try this place out. Unfortunately, it is not somewhere I will be returning. Here are some of the bummers: 1. My partner and I ordered a 2 person dinner menu and the only plate we were given was one small dessert plate each. Countless courses with one tiny plate. It is pretty gross after the salad and then noodle course to still be eating off a dessert plate. Then the bbq beef came out and no new plate. One of the waiters put all of the meat on top of discarded food from other appetizers. 2. The rice they give you had all sorts of strange textures and it was inedible. I still don't know what was in it. Crunchy bits, squishy bits, gross 3. My partner got an iced tea and it was $8 If you want mind blowing Korean BBQ, go to Chosun Galbee. That place rocks.

Yelp
I'm not sure what it was. Just tasted like everything was heavy on msg. I'm not opposed to cooking with msg but we just all felt heavy and sick after eating here. I put 2 stars bc I used to love this place before I moved to Europe. This was my first visit since moving back and hoping I just caught a bad day

Yelp
Where do we begin? So many dishes and so much banchan was on our table for 8 that it's hard to chronologically arrange this review, so I'll brain dump dishes as they come to my head. Large onions on grill - blackened and delish. Meat on grill - blackened and delish. Stone bowl fried rice was my favorite dish of the night, charred sides and perfectly chewy. kimchi, potatoes, spinach, jalapenos, bean sprouts were all well spiced. The japchae were ok, too slimy, but that's on me just not liking that dish than on them. The puffy egg thing that came in a stone bowl was incredible, amazingly fluffy and melted in your mouth, I'd love to try make that myself. The drinks (sapporo, makgeoli) are basic and bottled. The tteokboki was excellent, extra saucy and chewy, keeps you quiet for a bit chewing through those rice cakes!

Yelp
More convenient to get to from touristy areas of LA than the Koreatown restaurants which is how I ended up here. Hard to get on street parking but they have valet parking. Clean modern interior. They have high quality meat but it is quite expensive compared to Ktown. Plentiful and great Banchan. Good if you're in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood but there are better in Ktown.

Yelp
Weird way to review this: as a standalone restaurant, I think it rates a solid 4-stars. However, as a Genwa location, because of its limited menu compared to its other locations, I unfortunately rate it just 3-stars. Don't get me wrong, the dishes they do have are all pretty good. The Galbi (marinated beef ribs), spicy chicken bulgogi, and dolsot (hot stone) bibimbap are all good. I just get annoyed that it has barely a third of the good stuff available at other locations. I get it though, as the local Beverly Hills palate isn't well suited for the traditional good stuff, but seriously, it's like going to Burger join that serves burgers and soda, but no fries and milkshakes. It gets busy occasionally, but nothing crazy busy like the mid-Wilshire location, which is their Mecca location. If your palate is only mildly adventurous, then I suppose this is a good location for you. If you're equipped with a globe-trotting, experienced palate, opt for the mid-Wilshire location.

Yelp
I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Unparalleled service and a ton of food. Delish. We got the course option and it fed my entire family. The quality is so good. I just can't say enough about this place. It was so good.

Yelp
I really hate to do this, but goodbye Genwa.....it's been real. We've been coming here since the beginning of time but we're saying goodbye with this final review. The food isn't what it used to be and the prices have gone through the roof. I get that it's located in "Beverly Hills" and the rent is pretty high, but compared to the service and food, it's not worth it anymore. I used to bring my family and friends here all the time because it came with such a wow factor, but now it just feels like a typical Korean restaurant with mediocre food and really expensive prices. We get pretty wild when we order, but I don't ever recall paying over $400 for two people. Back in the day, the kalbi was like $50 per order and it was a pretty good size.....now it's like $70 for this small piece of kalbi. The pork belly is $60 an order......a $44 seafood pancake!!! I'm Korean and we get seafood pancakes all the time. Unless you are dicing up some wild caught abalone in there, $44 is a bit ridiculous. And when we asked for them to split one nengmyun in half, I see they just charged us two $18 "nengmyun tasters". The kicker was the charge for the rice punch. $16?!? We usually always go in a big group of 10 or more so I guess the complimentary bowl of rice punch is only for those occasions. I don't mind paying more for the food. I understand that they need to raise the prices in this economy....but, when you give me less food and charge me more money, then we have a problem. We have decided to drive to Spago for a nice dinner and just Korean BBQ at home.

Yelp
It was just an okay experience. Next time we have to trek it to Ktown. Baekjong was and still my fav KBBQ place in LA. This location was formerly Woo Lae Oak Beverly Hills and you can tell they didn't put much in regards to renovations and it's beginning to show it. Only option to park is their valet parking which was $7 I think. What a turnoff from the start. The wait staff and server were very friendly and they cut your meats for you as well. Yes there were lots of banchan and you get them any of them refilled to your hearts content, high helped a lot since they don't give you much meat. I made the mistake of not ordering their premier combo sets D or E and felt like we didn't get the wow factor. Darn it. The quality of meats was stellar but the amount of food you get was a joke. I mean almost everyone was looking at their iPhones to get a second dinner elsewhere. Seeking kbbq in LA, stick with Ktown!

Yuko N.

Yelp
We had a great time at Genwa. We had the B Course and felt it was enough to satisfy three people. We were especially impressed by the banchan side dishes. There were so much and all of them were very tasty. The selection of meats was well balanced as well. If you are looking for good Korean BBQ and don't want to make the drive to Koreatown, I highly recommend Genwa.

Yelp
I liked this location compare to others. It's nice open and bright inside restaurants. Staffs are very helpful giving advice as we ordered for group people. Food taste good. I like so many small appetizers ( panchan? ) overall good experience

Yelp
It's been many years since I've visited Genwa and this was my first time at the Beverly Hills location. I just want to say that the quality of the food hasn't changed a bit. That's pretty impressive considering how top notch I thought their meats were years ago. The Beverly Hills location is in a much fancier section of town but gives way to the KTown location a bit in terms of ambiance and decor. Regardless, the food is outstanding. We ordered Course E for 5 people and each part of the course was better than expected. From perfectly marbled cuts of beef to fresh seafood and exquisitely crispy bibimbap, my experience was highly satisfying. Genwa is no doubt expensive, but one of the few places where the cost is always worth it for me.

Heather Y.

Yelp
Reserved a room for my sweet 16, and it was so spacious and extremely well lit! We ordered to C courses and all of the meat had great marbling and melted in my mouth. Not just the meat, but all of the side dishes were emptied -- such a clean and flavorful experience! The dolsot bibimbap was a crowd favorite and the kkotsal melted in my mouth! The service was amazing and all of the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, they made it the best place to hold a party and they were easy to communicate with!
google avatar

Sandra T.

Yelp
I'm quite biased when it comes to food, and when it comes to korean barbecue, the bare minimum impresses me. But this establishment is different simply because they actually serve wagyu and for that five stars. The menu is large with even larger portions, so don't be shy.
google avatar

Becktoria B.

Yelp
Love the decor and ambiance here. Meat quality is good but my favourite are the free unlimited small side dishes. I've never seen this many variations of the free unlimited small side dishes. It's pricey here but I had a great experience and the food was great.
google avatar

Julien D.

Yelp
I like this place! It's a nice spot if your party doesn't eat as much at AYCE. Quality of the meat is nice and I thought the service was very good despite them seeming a little short staffed. They did well despite that and managed all of the cooking across all the tables!
google avatar

Sep L.

Yelp
This is hands down the best all you can eat Korean BBQ place I've ever been to. There were a little slow at coming by to bring us more food but the food was so good. Definitely worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
We used to really like this place before Covid. First time here post-Covid and the prices have completely skyrocketed. It is more than Lawrys, Fogo, or pretty much any restaurant in close proximity. The kalbi is still really good but the portion sizes have shrunk. It was virtually empty on the weekend, yet our table would be left alone for dozens of minutes at a time. Even getting the check was a pain where you have to flag someone down because nobody checks in. If you have a table of 5+ they will automatically add tip, so maybe that's why they don't care? It just wasn't worth 2-3x price of KBBQ in Ktown like Parks. The restaurant looks exactly the same as before so it's not like the ambiance was upgraded. Unfortunately, no longer recommend.

Yelp
The service and hospitality @ this location far exceeds other Genwa locations I have dined at. They are generous and attentive to special requests. The quality of meat is above par; lean, tender, richly marinated cuts of beef with a plethora of kimchi and other Korean sides that accompany a delicious meal including decadent silken tofu soup! The restaurant is clean, well maintained and the lighting is perfect for a date! Definitely @ the top of my list of favorites for the BEST Korean BBQ! It's on the pricier side of the spectrum as far as Korean BBQ cuisine but certainly worth its value! You get what you pay for when it comes to dining out! As far as parking, there is paid Valet immediately in front, metered street parking along La Cienega Blvd or free 1 to 2 hour parking around the neighborhood if you don't mind walking 2 mins to the restaurant.
google avatar

Aneisha H.

Yelp
Didn't have a reservation and didn't wait but a minute or 2 to be seated. Temperatures were taken and vaccinated cards had to be shown. Customer service was great. Food and ambiance was great and fresh. Our waitress was so amazing and attentive. It was my first time here and I will be going back. We walked here so not sure how parking is but I would hope they would have valet or parking behind the building. My first time have a full Korean BBQ experience and I can't wait to go back here and try more things. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
Genwa Korean BBQ in Beverly Hills is a fantastic restaurant that serves authentic and flavorful Korean BBQ. The menu is filled with fresh and high-quality ingredients, making it a must-visit for Korean BBQ fans and those looking for a fun and memorable dining experience. The premium beef brisket is one of Genwa's phenomenal dishes, a perfectly marbled and tender meat that is expertly grilled and seasoned to perfection. The pork belly is also outstanding, with juicy, flavorful meat that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Another must-try dish is the seafood pancake, which has a perfect blend of savory and spicy flavors expertly paired with a crispy and tender texture. The spicy pork belly is also excellent, with a rich, bold flavor that is perfectly balanced by the tender meat and spicy sauce. Genwa has a lively and energetic atmosphere, with a bustling and social environment that is ideal for groups and parties. The service is attentive and friendly, with servers eager to make recommendations and ensure a memorable dining experience. Overall, Genwa Korean BBQ in Beverly Hills is a must-see for anyone who appreciates authentic and flavorful Korean BBQ as well as a lively and social atmosphere. Genwa Korean BBQ is a true Los Angeles dining gem, serving everything from outstanding premium beef brisket to delectable seafood pancakes and spicy pork belly.

Yelp
7.3.2022 We normally don't go for bougie kbbq, but it was in the area and had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. They have valet parking, but we easily found street parking and walked a short distance over. KBBQ: They have the best & largest variety of banchan of all the kbbqs I've been to. They have over 20+ mini samples that surround the whole grill including meat, korean pancake and so much more! They have a la carte or combos. We went with a combo for 4 people and they had excellent meat quality (it also came with soju and bibimbop. I would say I was comfortably full (via disgustingly full compared to when I eat at AYCE kbbq). SERVICE: More the most part excellent. Like every kbbq they cook and cut the meat for you, but here, they are ON TOP OF IT. They even place the meat on your plate sometimes and served us the bibimbop. I felt very spoiled. The only downside is when I asked for banchan refill, the waiter that I happened to call over, didn't seem too thrilled to refill the mini 2 plates that I asked for. VIBES: Definitely has an upscale vibe with lots of booth seating. They have the self-ventilating grills which is always a big bonus because I hate smelling like kbbq after eating at the non-self ventilating. VERDICT: The total came out to $86/pp which is a pretty hefty price. It was worth to try once for the quality of meat, the service, and the banchan. But tbh, I would probably not come back because I rather eat cheaper kbbq in ktown even if I have to grill myself. lol

Yelp
There are so many good things about this restaurant I don't even know where to begin. Like usual, I will break it down by category for you guys. Food- exceptional quality. The meats are just so flavorful and tender, there's a big difference between the meat you get here vs your typical satisfactory Korean BBQ restaurant. We ordered course A and course C. We were a party of 5 and there was more than plenty of food for all of us. The beef Bulgogi was amazing and so were ALL of the saucey meats. Service- one of the coolest things about this restaurant is you sit down at a stove table like all other Korean BBQ's, but the staff actually cooks your food for you! We loved this as the staff knows how to cook it and prepare it way better than any of us could and they were very good at explaining what they were serving us after it was cooked. The ventilation system is also much better than any other Korean BBQ place we've been to- it was very nice leaving the restaurant and not smelling like the food! Atmosphere- very nice restaurant, the dining room is big but it is a nice vibe and it does not feel like you're sitting in a cafeteria. They were pretty busy for a Saturday night yet still squeezed our party in at 8:30, and promptly seated us when we arrived. Overall- We all agreed we'd be back. It is an expensive restaurant but I truly feel that you paying for quality food and service, which is hard to come by these days. I will happily spend more for an amazing experience and that is exactly what this place gave us.

Yelp
When did they start overcharging for rice and veggies? This is the most expensive Korean place I have ever been to: $55 for a regular bowl of vegetarian bibimbap. We order two plates that came out to $162! The place was empty and dark when we arrived and I can see why. Nothing even close luxury fine dining. The quality and quantity of food did not match the price tag. The service was ok but you can get cheaper and better Korean BBQ in Ktown.

Yelp
best Korean bbq in town , always kids friendly when we go ! Food is unbelievable , also very clean !

Yelp
My family wanted to have nice and pleasant dinner on New Year's day. We decided to go to GENWA and it was successful. We selected Course D and some appetizers. A wide variety of side dishes provided which make me surprised and happy. I mostly liked the quality of the beef. It tasted like a rich Korean seasoning. My family fully enjoyed the dinner. The servers are quite attentive even though it was busy. They provided kind explanations and skillful grilling of the meat. It was satisfied as well.

Yelp
Dined in to celebrate my friends 21st birthday . Everything from the workers to the food was amazing. Extremely polite people. We had an awesome at Genwa. Highly recommend this location ! They came out with a desert plate, sang and after shot confetti poppers. Thank you for the experience,it was lovely .

Yelp
On the best Korean food I've seen around in LA definitely you should try it a little expensive but worth it
google avatar

Sezin T.

Yelp
Unnecessarily expensive; not even worth the taste. I had been at many Korean BBQs around LA. This one did not have any meat not even a kimchi that was worth x3 more than other places. Brisket was over $56 and bulgogi almost $60. 2 people with 3 meat selections we paid $277 which is expensive and not worth at all. Also parking is not free!

Whitney W.

Yelp
Terrible service and definitely not worth the big price tag. If you go eat KBBQ in Beverly Hills, you expect 1) quality food and 2) great service. Re: the food The quality of the meat is just okay -- you could tell the slices of meat were still very frozen by how hard the server had to push the meat into the grill. The grill was wayyyy too hot and they did not even add fat or onion to the grill to keep the meat from sticking. Long story short -- the server burnt 95% of our meat. And I don't mean a nice caramelization -- it was burnt so badly it was inedible. We requested a grill change multiple times and they still kept the grill too hot. The manager barely gave us a replacement tray of meat which we ended up grilling ourselves. The highlight of the meal was the variety of banchan and complimentary lollipop. Re: the service Barely any servers stopped by -- they didn't even come by to refill water. For additional context, the restaurant only had a handful of other tables and wasn't slammed/ crazy busy. It took several attempts to flag down any staff for changing grills, etc. TLDR: spent way too much for an average meal; left hungry due to small quantity of food; there is definitely a lot of room for improvement in customer service
google avatar

Rodney C.

Yelp
We got the combination D. Well worth the money! It comes with wyagu short rib, both marinated and unmarinated, scallops, shrimp and lobster tail. It's on the more expensive side but I felt like it was worth the extra money to have quality cuts of meat.
google avatar

Landon H.

Yelp
Good valet to start the night. Great ambiance for large groups if needed. High ceilings and multiple waiters at the same time. I rate this 5 stars..... To good to explain.
google avatar

Timothy L.

Yelp
We love KBBQ and Genwa is one of our favorites. This is not AYCE (if you know you know). This is high quality meat with very good portion sizes. The meat is fresh and tender and when marinated absolutely delicious. The sides (banchan) are spectacular. They also refill them without limitation. The atmosphere at both locations is great. I prefer the one in La Cienega which is larger and more relaxed - to me. Seriously, heck it out! You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yolanda S.

Yelp
Hands down to the beef quality, it is superb! You started off with 20+ small bites! Very delicious! We came on a Friday night and booked the private room for a birthday celebration. So, basically, this is the review for that. (2F private room) Pros: You're definitely gonna have more privacy and space in their private room, it's big enough for 20-30 adults! (Like a conference room) The servers basically cooked everything downstairs and brought it upstairs and served it to your table, which means no bbq grills in the private room. Yes! No fire! It's certainly safer for kiddos! Cons: Once a bbq place w/o bbq grills, it's more like a tofu house, you know! They serve cooked food to your tables and the meat gets cold (relatively) quickly, since it is not on the grill. Well, I admit that I probably enjoy better watching bbq meat cooked in front of me. It feels (and smells) different though! Okay! Talking about my top 3: #1: Waygu katsol! SO GOOD! It's a MUST! It's well-marbled, it has the best ratio of fat. The meat was clean so, so tender, literally melted in my mouth! 1000% recommended! It's the BEST! #2: Prime Galbi! I came for waygu katsol, but I fell in love with Genwa after trying their Galbi. It was flavorful, so soft, so juicy, and with a subtle fruity sweetness. I finished almost two plates! The bomb! #3: 20+ banchans: Loved! It's more like a mini meal to me! Loved their Japchae and bibimbap, both were very flavorful! All the side dishes were on point, actually! Overall great experience! It's legit! Prices are higher here, but it's worth it in my opinion. Waygu katsol and prime Galbi were the winners! Service was good but could be more attentive! The only complain was the beef brisket was a bit too dry, and not enough banchans for 20+ people. Other than that, everything was good, food was very delicious! Beyond satisfied! Highly recommend to anyone who's craving for some outstanding Korean bbq meat in BH!

Patty G.

Yelp
When you walk in, just take a look around to the empty bar on a Saturday at 7:30pm, no hostess and no ambiance except for crying babies. Then sit down to a greasy table, terrible service and worse food. This is the buca de beppo of Korean fare.
google avatar

Michi S.

Yelp
Twice, twice I've been here and both times 5/5! Quiet, you can actually converse with your table. Staff was so so pleasant and they explained a lot of things. Food was really tasty. As long as you don't mind kinda Smokey smell when being there it's a great must try!

Yuting X.

Yelp
I had a disappointing experience with the service. Despite the grill plates being burnt, they weren't replaced. The server constantly in a rush to barbecue, with one meat still cooking while another had already been placed on the grill.

Veronika K.

Yelp
Wow, what a disappointment . We have been coming to this restaurant for many years, it was always a nice upscale way to have k-bbq but boy has it changed. We went in a Saturday night, and the place was 3/4 empty. The prices on the menu have sky rocketed like crazy. A 4 people meal with 3 beers was $560 before tip. The quality of the food is nothing like before. The service was slow and not what you would expect from $560 a meal. The icing on the cake was the horrible stomach pain and food poisoning I got that night. I'm never going back!

D H.

Yelp
The good: great service and quality of the food. The bad: infuriatingly expensive. We had two adults and a toddler who only nibbles on a piece of meat, rice and ban chan. We ordered 2 meats (basic galbi and a brisket), 1 vegetarian pancake, and 2 non-alcoholic drinks. After their default 20% tip, that came to $240. Incredible. The flour pancake alone was $40!!! (and not even the seafood, that was a surcharge) We asked about the kids set they used to give, which was simply a bowl of rice, some packaged seaweed, and a bowl of broth with tofu. They said they had to cut back post Covid (this is Aug 2023 btw). Their menu has absolutely skyrocketed and their portions have shrunk. I want to love them because they have great service but it's insane how expensive the menu has gotten, all under the guise of Covid. Save (a lot) of money, get more food, and go to K-town. People will say you have to charge these rates for Beverly Hills rent, but we spend almost $100 less for more food of similar quality down the street at Fogo and Lawry's, so the rent argument doesn't hold water.

Yelp
Good food, good service We had the Course E(?) I think, the one that serves 4-5 people. We were 6, but we had enough food to be full. The meat was very good, as was the bibimbap. I wasn't a fan of the seafood. We also ordered some pork dumplings, they tasted good but were dry. All in all a good dinner.

Yelp
The best of the best Korean cuisines in Los Angeles you can find. It is frequently visited by K-wave celebrities who seek the most exquisite Korean bbq dining experience. After I heard Minari movie crew came here for dining, I tried it with my fam and it became my choice of Korean bbq. No other Korean bbq restaurant comes closer if you want the best.

Yelp
We went here for dinner . First the food is outrageously expensive . Quality of the meat is not that great . Servers are rude , spoilt our mood . Never going again . There's no buzz left in that place . Disappointing experience . It used to be my favorite spot . It was my daughters birthday and they didn't even mention that . $8 for Diet Coke . Bye Genwa it was our last visit here .

Yelp
This experience wasn't as pleasurable as all of the other previous visit. Based on tonight service, it wasn't up to par as it has been. Staff was pretty slow all around. It was Sunday night, busy was not as crazy as I've seen it. Our girl was sweet. Order was taken and so on. But once the meat started to come, it kind of went downhill from there. Took a while for all the extra side dishes to arrive after we asked for some more. First round of meat was put on and she took care of that nicely. But afterward, the grill was changed and still waiting for the other meat to arrive. It started to burn before anything was put on and it was changed again. Three times they changed it as it was starting to burn each time. Service wasn't as great on this experience. We come as the service is always up to standard as well as the meat. For the price you pay you would expect a great experience. This was just based on tonight experience. I could have just went to a regular AYCE place for that and it would have been way cheaper. Overall, meat is always great. Just the service wasn't as pleasant as it should be for the price you pay. Hopefully on out next visit, it would be better.

Yelp
High quality and high end Korean barbecue. If you're willing to shell out the extra bucks, it's worth the money. A lot of really good meat to select from. This is a place where the big shots go for Korean bbq and it has never disappointed me or my family. Keep in mind that this is not an all you can eat place.

Yelp
I am here at least once a week. The food is delicious. The staff is great. The banchan is so good and there are many types of it. Food is always fresh. I love going there!

Yelp
Increased prices by 36% since Covid and reduced portions substantially. Comes out to over $130 a person easy. Don't go unless you're willing to pay the 3x premium for the location.

Yelp
Really craved Korean BBQ so I decided to go here for dinner and it was really good! This restaurant had the largest banchan spread that I have ever seen at a Korean restaurant, and they all tasted delicious. There was a good selection of meats and other dishes on the menu. I ordered the Bulgogi and Galbi, and both were super tender and flavorful. The Bibimbap was really nice and I liked how they also divided it into little bowls for everyone. Seafood Pancake was crispy and yummy as well. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The restaurant also gets 10/10 for COVID safety precautions with vaccination checks, temperature checks, and distancing parties at different tables.

Yelp
The food quality here got straight down. Over priced: ordered 2 combos and 3 beers ( $48 for 3 beer), one sojo and vegetables. Total cost is around $1100 include service. The meat quality and side dishes is really bad, food portion is really small as well. Vegetable we ordered, a few pieces is really bitter. The restaurant don't have a lot of customers. The restaurant energy is super low and feels like goanna shut down soon. It's a really bad experience, feel totally gotta ripped off.
