Going through customs at the Houston airport was super fast and easy definitely one of the smoothest re-entry experiences I’ve had. Everything moved quickly, and we had no issues getting to our destination. The only hiccup was with my stroller; I happened to spot it outside the plane, or it might have been lost. A bit more attention to baggage handling would make the experience perfect, but overall, it was a good trip through the airport.

Good Solid Airport! Flying United to Tokyo, so went from Richmond-Houston-Tokyo. Flights were on time. Food options were ok in Terminal E. We ate a Tanglewood, which was cool looking. Pretty clean, Monorail to Terminals were packed but quick. Good Experience flying in and out.

For being an American airport is sure better than the average. Higher ceilings than the average and lots of glass to see outside. A few arts display around the concourses, well designed and decorated restaurants albeit very expensive, as usual. Plenty of charging stations all around the terminal. The only problem I've found is that the bathrooms are not very clean and maintained.

The airport is massive, and quite busy. I arrived on Spirit at terminal A and deported on United from Terminal E. Arrival: Landed during the afternoon, signage was easy to follow to get straight to the rental car facility shuttle bus. Passed by a nice cow astronaut statue. Departure: I had a late flight. There was thunderstorms in the area and a lot of delayed flights. My flight was delayed for about an hour. Very few places open to buy food after 9pm. Lots of seating in the United terminal, bathrooms nearby. Entertained myself watching people running through the terminal to their gates because they were late to connecting flight.

I had a good experience at this airport! It’s well-organized and super clean, including the restrooms, which were very clean every time I used them. I also really appreciated the variety of restaurant options, they have something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down meal. The option to order ahead is a game changer, making it so much easier to grab food without waiting in long lines. There are also plenty of seating areas, and I found the overall atmosphere to be good and comfortable.

Constant renovation and hopefully coming to an end. The new terminal is much better compared with the older ones but overall still gives an old and outdated feel. Food choices can be improved. Security and fast generally for premier but can be slow for others.

Terminal C at Houston’s airport has been a nightmare. Despite being one of the country’s largest hubs, they can’t seem to get basic baggage service right. Staff mislead passengers about where their luggage is—today I was told it would be another 45 minutes before my bag arrived, while everyone else’s bags came through. Frustrated, I checked the oversized baggage area myself—and sure enough, there it was. This isn’t the first time I’ve been burned by Houston’s system. On another occasion, the baggage claim line was so long I had to come back the next day to retrieve my suitcase. It’s infuriating that such a major airport operates at this level of disorganization. They need a completely new tracking system and better-trained employees. I’ve been to some rough airports before, but none are consistently this bad. Houston, get it together—this airport is falling way short. The video is from a previous time. They Suck!

Google
It is a huge place. Airplanes are everywhere and it is crazy how they can keep track of it. It is so easy to navigate yourself just by looking at the signs. Didn’t find any? Well just ask the staff and they will help you. You can find your flight by checking the monitor. I went on terminal A and we had so trouble getting checked in but the staff was there to help us. It was a great experience to be able to come.

Yelp
I really didn't have an issues at this airport; departing or arriving. Both were a breeze. Going through security was under 5 minutes in terminal A at around noon. I'm pretty sure that's the quickest it's ever taken me. There were plenty of food options in this terminal. I also found the terminal to be clean. For my arrival, the terminal was easy to navigate to get to ground transportation. Very efficient airport!

Yelp
Houston IAH Terrible no cellular signal where they have rides hare pickup The airport is aware of the problem because they have a sign telling you to "Stay connected! While we work to improve cell service, enjoy Free Wi-Fi to contact your driver. Connect to: Rideshare WiFi" Only the WiFi just like the cellular signal is non existent and doesn't work. IAH you can do better seriously this has been going on for years now takes more than 30 minutes to get any limited signal and even longer to get picked up total disaster. IAH big disappointment!

Yelp
Im try to find nice things to say about IAH... It's a busy busy airport with the same concept like DTW.. you need to get on that train or trolley to get to your terminal... of your at D... there's Mexican restaurant or greasy Popeyes. E terminal has Pappadeauxs Which saved me from becoming a grouchy Shelly ... The seats are uncomfortable you can't stretch out cuz they have arm rests!! They having working outlets so you can charge your devices... they have USO lounge if your active duty or retired, but not for vets :( The screens aren't updated with flight status. Luckily my airline texted about the delays. delays. Oh yeah terminal C is still underconstruction... Oh yeah... majority of the flights at gate d7 were delayed... eat b4 coming here .. I hope I don't have to ever have to use this airport..

Brett J.

Yelp
A huge airport but easy to navigate. It is not Atlanta... lots of places to eat lots of small shops. Arrive early and things will go smooth. A simple airport to get around in.

Hank C.

Yelp
Took a slightly longer layover this time through IAH, and went to explore Terminal D - the terminal is mostly empty (unlike B and C which are busy) and if you have Priority Pass, there are two lounges - the KLM and the Air France lounges. I liked the KLM one better (will review them separately). Airtrain ride showed a bunch of construction between B/C, maybe more terminal space? Definitely a lot of space between terminals and within the terminals, though, good Texas size, I suppose. Good brisk walk to get from one end to another. A memorial in the middle of Terminal C with the George H.W. Bush statue and exhibit. Randomly in the terminal C, saw a Tripadvisor shop. Strange branding of a e-travel site with a store of traveling kits and snacks. One thing I noticed - not a lot of areas to charge devices, seats don't have it in Terminal D, just a few standing/cubical spots and the plugs at the support pillars or some random charging stations set up. Also very dirty computer/working tables ... given how early we were, seems like it was not taken care of the cleaning before.

Yelp
I still feel the same about this airport as last time, but decided to give one more star, since I can't do half a star...mostly because the staff I spoke to were extremely friendly. This time I wasn't rushing from the terminal to catch my ride or to the gate....so I had more time to walk around the airport. The airport is still just as confusing with the signs, but easier to navigate since I wasn't on a time crunch. Additionally, there were employees around to assist if/when necessary. The main terminal is just ... crowded and chaotic, better to avoid checking in at the counters and just do it on the app or at the self-service kiosk. There is a Starbucks at the C terminal, as well as many other eating options--both fast food and dine-in. There is a lot of seating around this terminal....definitely more than the last time I was there....after the renovations, but I spent the 3-4 hours mostly walking around. TSA Pre-check was a breeze and the staff weren't paying as much attention as I'm used to at IAD and other airports. This time I took the shuttle from the main terminal to the auto rental building. That was a bit chaotic, no "first come first serve" or line or organization. It was just a bunch of people waiting and rushing once the bus came. Would I return? Yea...I'll be flying to IAH every time I come to Houston.

Yelp
I've been through this airport many times, usually to connect to another flight. This airport is huge, so if you have a short time to connect to another flight, it could easily take you 15 minutes to get to your gate and can be stressful. The food options here are pretty big compared to other airports I've flown into but I don't usually have much time to check them out. Terminal B is ok, while Terminal C has more options. There is a lot of artwork and lots to see here, and currently there is a George Bush mini museum in Terminal C which talks about our 41st president's life, experience in the military, and contributions. The airport was renamed in honor of President Bush in 1997. You can take the SkyTrain to all of the terminals to explore. I believe there are 4 of them. Safe travels!

Yelp
Decent airport, made of different major airlines since it's a major metro area. The airport itself is boring but hopefully you're not stuck there all day for a layover. Not like Dallas airport for example. It's pretty silent with not great options to eat especially for airport prices. But there's free WiFi. My first and last experience of Houston, at least by choice. I don't know how I'd end up in this city ever again willingly but that's another story. Security was easy and chill.

Yelp
Having lived and traveled in many places, this airport is the one of the worst airports in the world! The construction is a nightmare and it's been going on for years! The traffic is backed up, slow and dangerous. The parking garage? OMG, my cars have been ruined leaving them here! On one rainy day, my car was parked in a space where there was some kind of roof leak and it wasn't just water that dripped on my car, it was some awful residue that stained it and I had to have body work done on it. On another occasion another one of my cars was bumped into and the front license plate was stolen. I've started to just UBER to the airport because my cars are precious to me and this airport will do nothing but ruin them. Once you're inside, the crowds send me directly to a lounge for a Chardonnay to calm my nerves. SO MANY PEOPLE everywhere. And the exit for the luggage is this teeny tiny door?! Who designed this stupid airport? So hard to get around, honestly, I've been here sadly too long and I still can't find my way around unless Mr. G is with us. I can't wait to move back to Phoenix, where their SKY HARBOR airport is super CLEAN and nice and where they hire senior citizens with cute cowboy hats to help guide you to your terminal. Here, you will be walking for days until you find the luggage area, then you'll be frazzled because of the crowds and once you get to your car you'll be furious because some dumbshit ran into it or the crappy roof leaked on your nice Porsche. If you want to lose your mind and start to HATE TRAVEL come to the worst airport in America IAH! It deserves freaking ZERO STARS!!!!!

Yelp
During the 1960s, American airports underwent a revolution from purely efficient buildings to aesthetically pleasing ones. Marijuana was also becoming extremely popular at that time, and the planners of IAH must have smoked it heavily because this airport is neither efficient nor beautiful. I won't pretend like I'm well-versed in architecture or aviation history, but I can't think of a single redeeming quality about this place. The problems arise before even reaching the airport. Due to a lack of transportation options, I've experienced traffic jams that delay my arrival time up to 20 minutes in the afternoon. Many drivers circle the terminals waiting to pick people up, unaware that a cell phone lot exists at the airport's periphery because only a few signs point them to the right direction. For the signs that do exist, they appear last minute and sometimes force newbie airport users to swerve across several lanes. In addition, Bus Route 102 remains the only public transit option to the airport and solely stops at terminal C. 5 decades later, the main airport of America's fourth most populated city continues to rely on the least efficient mode of transportation to bottleneck its people through its doors. Inside, the airport appears just as lackluster. If Houston deserved one award as a city, it would be for its thriving and diverse food scene, but you would never deduce that from its airport. The halls are decked with McDonald's, Wendy's, and every other mid fast food chain you can think of. The best thing you can do for yourself is pack a meal beforehand or enjoy your destination's food when you get there. I would also recommend charging your devices while waiting to board your flight, but the outlets at the domestic gates are purely decorative. I don't recall ever coming across a working one in the last 10 years. Just imagine a happy place in your head with clean floors and well maintained restrooms; it'll all be over soon. Renovation of the airport has been taking place for many years now. Though I do hope that real changes are coming as stated on their construction banners, "change" in Houston is usually synonymous with just adding another car lane. I'll believe it when I see it.

Yelp
Heading back home, I took the time to walk slowly and take in the ambiance of George Bush International - IAH for the first time. As I checked in via the app I was able to bypass the counter and head directly to the TSA line. Arriving at TSA, the young lady at the entry way who was confirming that everyone had a boarding pass had a phenomenal level of customer service. Her smile was huge. She said hello to everyone. She told everyone to have a safe trip and her entire genuine spirit was radiant and warm. Providing as my first point of reference as it pertains to in-person customer service she blew it out of the water and truly put a smile on my face. Getting through TSA was smooth and has encouraged me to sign up for Pre-Check as I hate taking my shoes off. LoL. Nonetheless, the gentleman who scanned my license was super pleasant and we joked about the line being "slow." Also, the young lady at the bin counter was super pleasant and presented a godly level of calm even with such an extended line and small table space. As I entered through Terminal C, I took the Skytrain to Terminal A which was a smooth process. The train was very spacious and super clean. Arriving at Terminal A, I had the chance to walk the hallway as I was headed to A18. The artwork on display was beautiful and makes you walk a little bit slower if you're not in a rush as you can take it all in. Offering a variety of artistic creativity, taking the time to read about each collection was enjoyable as well. As I entered the bend, my ears were awaken by the sounds of LIVE Classical music. OMG! Yes. I said LIVE!!!! Check out George Bush International - IAH. If I wasn't traveling alone we could have grabbed some food and made it a date. Ha. Shout out to whoever at George Bush International - IAH approved this idea. You are loved. Arriving at my gate, the area was spacious and clean. There are ample charging sources and the WiFi is strong. The food court is kind of weak as it pertains to options, however, as long as you're not starving, you're good. With that said... See you next time George Bush International - IAH.

Norma J.

Yelp
Read my review. What could improve? Get a fire under these food service employees would be a great start. Ridiculously slow for a major airport!!

Tim T.

Yelp
Awesome and sprawling airport for an epicly big city. Also often a hub that connects to many cities internationally. Many restaurants, bars, etc. located in the terminals as well. You have probably traveled through IAH once in your life!

Mary V.

Yelp
Oh my. Question: How long will construction last at IAH? Answer: Long past when you're dead and buried This airport has become an absolute nightmare to get in and out of. Terminal E construction has been ongoing for over 4 years. Terminal C entrance was always a game of Russian roulette in your car. But now that Terminal B access is closed and being diverted to Terminal C, it's really horrific. Boo hiss to all of the ***holes that think it's okay to drive your huge vehicles up to the very end of the P (for parking) lane and then want to squeeze into the C drop off lane. There is a special spot in hell for you. Plan ahead if you need to drop off or pick someone up from this airport, especially Terminal C. For pick up, hang out in one of the cell phone lots and then adventure over to the terminal. Circling around and around is NOT the way to go. Only wish that IAH used the method that some other, smaller, airports use for their cell phone lots: make it a gas station/convenience store with a big lot. What a thought! I bet more people would use them then, because after all, who wants to squeeze into a porta-potty if the need arises? Yuk. And, be careful driving in through the access roads. HUGE potholes that will swallow my little Miata. Thank goodness I'm small enough to see them and maneuver around them. Good way to blow out a tire - so be aware. I yearn for the day when construction here is finally over. But, yeah, I'll probably be dead by then.

Nick P.

Yelp
I like this airport. There were plenty of interesting foods to eat and shops to look at. Checking in my bags were easy. Security check was okay, sometimes you'll have to wait a bit. The seats are comfortable and there are always janitors cleaning the bathrooms.

Kat L.

Yelp
Always busy but one thing for sure is to come in 2 hours before your flight. TSA checkpoint can be held up so it's always good to give yourself enough time. There's a lot of store to check out to pass the time.

Sanilie F.

Yelp
Had a layover at IAH. If you're not familiar with this airport, please give yourself enough time as the terminals (as mentioned in other reviews) are very far apart from each other and will definitely require you to have some extra time to get from point A to point B if you have a connecting flight like I did. Staff were ready to help when I almosttttt got lost LOL. I had to take the subway, which is extremely helpful and caused me to be on time for boarding.

Victoria N.

Yelp
George Bush Intercontinental airport is the biggest and cleanliness airport. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. Check in was very fast. They have so many restaurants and gift shops. I would highly recommend this airport to everyone.

Brent Y.

Yelp
I recently flew through George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, Texas (for the Lions/Texans game), and had a really smooth experience. A bit of background: IAH opened in 1969 and is one of the largest airports in the country. Named after the 41st president, George H.W. Bush, it's a major hub for United Airlines and connects Houston to destinations all over the world. The airport has a wide range of restaurants for travelers. From local Texas flavors at spots like Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen and Texas BBQ joints to well-known favorites like Chick-fil-A and Starbucks, there's plenty to choose from. For those looking for a sit-down experience, I recommend Pappadeaux or Ember, which both offer great dining options and a break from the fast-food rush. Navigating IAH was pretty seamless, especially with TSA PreCheck, which made security a breeze. The airport is quite large, so plan extra time to get to your gate if you're transferring terminals. Also, IAH has a free inter-terminal train, which makes getting around much easier. Overall, I had a positive experience at IAH--smooth check-in, friendly staff, and good dining options. If you're traveling through Houston, you'll be in good hands here!

Jamita H.

Yelp
Another huge, busy airport! Lots of people, you have to get on this shuttle to go from this end to that end. You take the shuttle to the rental car facility. It was definitely controlled chaos! It just seemed so crazy but all under control. It was easy to check-in on our flights, again, friendly and helpful staff. No complaints!

Brittney C.

Yelp
The airport was huge and so different than our Atlanta airport we are use to. Everything is inside and underground but this one had separate buildings and a sky train through them all so could be confusing if you aren't use to this design. The signs were easy to understand and get around we actually only asked for help getting to a lounge which they do not have a lot of Delta sky lounges as this is not a Delta airport so keep that in mind. To me, everything was beautiful! Can't wait to visit Houston again.

Deshika B.

Yelp
This is weirdly one of my favorite airports! It is HUGE, but easy to navigate. It's also great to get your steps in if you have a long sit LOL. You can take one of the little cars driving around to get to your next terminal if you have a connection, or if you just need to get to the front of the airport. TSA was a breeze here for my coworkers and I, and my friend who joined me on a layover said she had zero issues getting through as well. The food choices are a lot better than most airports, IMO. And you can sample loal goodies as well as chain fare if that's your thing. Never had an issue, and t's one of the few airports I look forward to passing through!

Jesus D.

Yelp
3 stars for the overall improvement of the airport. A little bit more to gain another star or two - Restrooms in general also need an overhaul. They are supposedly cleaned but the smell and tidiness are still to be desired even after a cleaning crew had "cleaned" one - Food options - Seating options to terminals ABC - Some staff/customer service are missing the southern hospitality

Scott Z.

Yelp
(Review #994) I hope you like walking. There's a lot of exercise to be had here between the gate areas, terminals, and sky bridges. There's more retail and food options than i think are necessary in an airport. But IAH is huge. It's a big United hub and at any given hour it's just packed with people. Good luck making that connection!

Dana G.

Yelp
We flew through this airport over the holidays, and it was an absolute nightmare. When we flew in, we had a long layover so we purchased day passes for the United club ahead of time. It was absolutely packed, we had to stand for about 20 minutes to get a table. Half the staff was very nice and the other half was incredibly rude. It felt like they were looking for reasons to be hateful. If you're on the fence about buying a day pass for this location, I do not recommend. On our way back, we had a long layover due to delays which eventually ended in a cancellation. A good portion of the airport is under construction, including the chapel. There are limited doors to enter on the skywalk. Cell service is hit or miss, which is not ideal when messages of delays and gate changes are all done virtually. The food options close early. Everyone is rude. It's difficult to find somewhere to charge your phone. The United gate agents here need to be retrained on customer service. As we sat at various gates to charge our phones over the hours we were stranded there, we watched multiple gate agents berate people very kindly asking for help. It was difficult not to intervene. We also had our turn of being yelled at when asking for help after our flight was cancelled while boarding. So fun! The positives were the team at Starbucks in terminal C and a really nice TSA agent who called out two men for cutting me in line. There was a United team member that went above and beyond to help a woman in a wheelchair get to a hotel shuttle. We were very fortunate to have a kind gate agent when we were finally able to fly home. I will go out of my way to avoid this airport in the future. I acknowledge that travel days are typically stressful, but so many of the issues here are unnecessary and could be easily avoided.

Cassandra S.

Yelp
Great little airport very easy to find everything. Every staff member was very pleasant and easy to find. There are tons of seating, tons of charging ports and tons of options for food they even had dumplings

Tish P.

Yelp
I love H-town! Don't come here talmbout my airport if you ain't from here. lol Damn this airport big af! So much construction, so much drama (backup) getting there, so much drama leaving (pickup/hotel shuttle, rental car shuttle)! Doesn't matter it's a headache and a hassle. It's too many damn ppl and sometimes the security/traffic people don't know wtf they doing. And don't have to travel to a whole nother terminal! Babyyyy! But it's still my home airport with lots of good eats and bars to pass the time! And I'm happy every time a plane lands there with me inside. TSA in terminal C without pre-check is some bull, I would never! With pre-check, if I'm being dropped off by private car, I'm out the door and through security in 10 minutes. I better stop telling y'all my secrets!

Andrew P.

Yelp
Very poorly set up airport that does make anything convenient for the average traveler. If you have to transfer between terminals during a layover... I wish you luck. Also, getting into and out of this airport is a complete waste of time. There's also a bunch of construction which made our process of getting picked up after an international flight (after re-checking out bag for a domestic flight later on) extremely confusing.

Robert B.

Yelp
Organization and customer smooth transfers. Terrible delays in coming from international flight to Domestic. The domestic transfer took over an hour. Laptops and shoes out. International locations have much better setup

Jasmine L.

Yelp
Airport is big, but not the cleanest, especially the bathrooms. There are a good amount of food options available though. The staff are overall friendly and nice. The security lines can get long and take a while so plan ahead

Brittney W.

Yelp
I was here for a layover and the portion I saw was beautiful (not sure which terminal I was at). The restrooms were designed very well and spacious. I really like the privacy of the baby changing station (hopefully this is in the men's) restroom as well. They also had feminine hygiene products available on the counter. I really enjoyed seeing the water fountain inclusive of alllll heights and the library!

Kimberley D.

Yelp
I'm disabled and they take excellent care of me at IAH the people who assist with wheelchairs are always polite.

Kim G.

Yelp
The airport is pretty large and it is undergoing major renovations throughout. There are concourses A-E and an International section. There are so many restaurants to choose from that you won't have a problem finding a place that fits your palate. Give enough time before your flight to get snacks, food, water or to navigate through the concourses. There is a tram that will help you get to each one, but there is a walk to get to the Skyway areas. You will also have to walk through construction areas within the airport. The staff seemed friendly and were very helpful in making sure you make it to the appropriate destination, several sections of the airport were modern and equipped for lounging. A lot of the restaurants made you view and order through their QR codes. Some wouldn't let you sit unless you were ordering. Totally made sense because some space was limited in certain areas. I recommend Yumi and Pappadeauxs restaurants. There is a hotel attached to the airport (Marriott), but the airport is about 20-30 minutes from the downtown area. The terminals have designated spots for pick up and ride share. You may want to obtain a ride share in the airport before you step outside, because the cell service was bad.

Staci J.

Yelp
The airport terminal north closes at a certain time and you have to go to the other side to go through security. Well it doesn't matter if you have tsa pre or not, you still have to take your electronics out and shoes off! I've traveled through other airports and they have a card provided to you to alert security that you do not have to take everything out. You would think by this being a bigger airport they would be more advanced or forward thinking.

Todd M.

Yelp
Very visually appealing but what a terrible place to be stuck in. I had a minor layover so I thought I'd explore the airport and grab a bite. I was walking around and really appreciated the scale and design of a lot of the restaurants/displays. I figured i'd go grab a bite and found a BBQ spot which sounded good. I got a dinner plate with brisket, ribs, mac and cheese and corn. Everything was crazy salty. I couldn't even finish the meal which is very unlike me. However one of the most annoying things is the EVERYTHING has to be ordered off of their QR code/App system. Want to ask a question? The standard answer is look up the app. Employees were scarce and it seems like they were too busy to do anything so everyone was directed to the app. The most annoying part was when I arrived and was waiting for a connecting flight I ordered a beer (again, off the app and there was NO ONE behind the bar) and I waited forever for it to arrive. Finally a guy appeared out of nowhere with my beverage. The experience could have been way better if the airport would just hire a few more people and actually have a living, breathing person in place to do basic customer service oriented tasks. I understand that businesses across the spectrum are deleting human tasks to save on payroll but in industries that already suck, like air travel, a person pouring a beer and getting it under 15 minutes goes a long way.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
This airport is always a hassle to get in and out of. The landing terminal is hardly ever the terminal where luggage pick up is (which is then where you'll exit) so if you're not careful, you'll send the person picking you up driving around aimlessly. That said, immigration lines tend to move pretty quickly which is quite impressive given that it's a large hub airport. International flights can also be cheaper because of frequency but it's honestly never my first or 2nd choice flying in and out of Texas, I only ever use it out of necessity... and that's my recommendation - use when necessary.

Chelsea R.

Yelp
As massive as this airport is I still think they do a solid job of navigating it all. International terminal is getting tons of upgrades. Love the ease of going from one terminal to the next. Efficient staff. IAH is one airport I do not mind getting in and out of! Plus lots to do, if you are staying longer for a layover. Incredible food even!! Gets the job done!

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with IAH, it was way better than I thought. Modern, airy, easy to navigate, not as big and crazy as the airport in Dallas. It reminded me of an airport in Europe with its cool design and nice touches. I had a very easy way to get around, no need to use any trains to go from a gate to another, just walk a bit. Nice selection of restaurants, great place for a layover. Seating wasn't the best, just higher up tables and chairs, a tad weird to face a stranger, it could have more restrooms within the terminal, some are too far from each other and there are too many people movers, their drivers are too intolerant with people walking by. Other than that, I enjoyed my layover here, modern, clean, easy to navigate, not too big!

Yelp
Airport allergy friendly: 2 out of 5. Blaze pizza: 5 out of 5 gluten and dairy free. We give the pizza place of five out of five but the airport a 2 out of 5 for having restaurants with Allergy, friendly menus. We went to A, B, and C and only found this pizza place. I am so glad we found it in terminal A. it was delicious. They had dairy free options. Loved it!

Yelp
I'm never quite sure how to rate airports, because how good can an airport really be? As far as airports go, IAH is pretty good. There are plenty of accessible elevators and escalators, and the security line moved fairly quickly when I was there early on a Monday morning. IAH is decently clean, brightly lit, and easily navigable overall. Gates are boldly labeled and easy to find. Food and drink options vary, from fast food staples to restaurants tailored to more local Texas fare. There are plenty of grab-and-go options, a decent amount of bathrooms, and water bottle refill stations. My flight departed on time, boarding was swift and we actually took off early. Overall, everything you could ask for in terms of an airport. Would fly into and out of here again.

Yelp
Internacional global entry, customs, recheck bag and tsa was amazing! Go Houston airport so seamless! Signage very clear and laid out and easy to navigate your way through airport. Lots of shops, bars and eateries. Restrooms were clean too!

Yelp
This airport is huge and a foodie dream airport... there's so many restaurants here and they're open bright and early at 4:30am! Big restaurants too with lots of seating and a variety! Overall it's a good airport, easy to navigate, clean, sky tram is efficient. I wish they had charger outlets on their gate seats. Other than that- great airport for transit!

Yelp
This airport is huge and most definitely for foodies. The walkways are lined with eateries and bars. There are four Starbuck stores here. Some of the restaurants I saw were CPK, Landry's Seafood and Pappadeaux. There's also a variety of stores including MAC and L'Occitane. Garrett's Popcorn will be opening soon.

Yelp
Houston airport sucks. So much construction. It takes 20 - 30 minutes to land, 30 minutes to disembark the plane & another 20-30 minutes to get to another gate. So 1.5 hours from the time you land to get to the next gate! Houston is 4th largest city in the United States! Restaurants don't open till 7 am & close at 9pm even though it is advertised as being open 24/7. Isn't this supposed to be an international airport? What kinda hours are those? On an international trip, when 400± people landed & were standing in the longest line, agent decides he's going to close his booth & go on a break with no replacement! Everyone missed their connections. Seat charging outlets never work either. The United Club is a dump with stale popcorn & nasty sandwiches. Third world airports have better hours & service. Been stuck on the runway for an hour with no air. @houstonAirport sucks a$$. Staus of flight says "departed on time. Taxing runway" such liars!!

Yelp
I flew into and out of IAH during my recent trip to Houston. While it's easy to construct one's review of an airport based on their experience with a specific airline, I always try my best to be objective to the actual airport itself, so here we go. I was surprised to learn that IAH is the second busiest airport in Texas and the 15th busiest in the US. I say that because it didn't seem like a grand airport by any means and the shopping/food selection seemed pretty slim. There are multiple terminals to accommodate the number of airlines utilizing the airport, and it seemed fairly organized. I got through security really quickly but the lines in general weren't long and I have TSA pre-check. The airport is also slightly far out - I was staying downtown and Hobby is closer, however I was flying JetBlue which only flew into IAH so it is what it is. Anyway, IAH is just fine - I've been to more exciting airports but at the end of the day they got me through security quickly and I arrived home safely - that's all I can really ask for.

Yelp
With the construction, this airport has been a nightmare for so many. On that note... The cell lot: NO ONE USES IT. Instead, people stay circling on terminal roads, creating unnecessary traffic and turning the roads it into a parking lot. A great solution would be to 1) add far better lighting in the cell lot. Currently, there's none, and it's a scary place to wait. Even in the daytime, it's sketch-looking. They could also allow for a food truck or two onsite to maybe entice people to actually use the lot. + This airport needs better public transit options. + Food options have improved. + Security lines aren't great, and TSA seems to be annoyed that they actually have to do their job and explain the security process to passengers. I feel particularly bad for travelers who are already nervous about flying and then have to come across miserably unhappy TSA agents or popos yelling at drivers picking up their friends/fam. I witnessed a cop walk up and confront a mom and her young child with so much aggression, it was unsettling and very unnecessary.

Yelp
My friends and I transited through this airport last month twice on the way to NOLA and on the way back from NOLA. Both times we couldn't really find somewhere to eat. We felt like the eating places were at the middle of the terminal and nothing at the end of the terminal, which is a decent walk when you are trying to get to your gate on time. Other than the places to eat, and the fact a couple places were closed, it was a fine airport. No other complaints.
