Incredible experience. Great communication and outstanding claws. We got the colossal size. They were huge. See photo I took. We ordered enough for a dinner for two but it fed us and our son who was visiting. My only recommendation is to offer by the person. They only offer for two, four, six. So I couldn’t order for three. Trust me we would have eaten it all. Mustard sauce was delicious. Delivered when scheduled. I will be ordering again soon and maybe sending for Christmas presents.

Normally I order in Joe's stone crab. I've always eaten there when visiting Florida. But I really had a taste for stone crab to celebrate new years eve with my adult kids. Joes wouldn't be delivered on time so my husband and I decided to try George's. The stone crab was fabulous, very sweet and actually less dense that joes. I think the fact that they ship with ice packs vs dry ice is a big difference, atleast that's what my son tells me. He's a chef who graduated from CIA ( culinary Institute of America) one of the top culinary schools in the world. The mustard sauce was slightly different than Joe's, more creamy but was perfect with the sweet crab. The key lime pie was also equal to joes in creamy texture and flavor but slightly less tart. My only complaint was that when I ordered i wasn't given an option for UPS early delivery. I chose UPS for $113.00 but package didn't arrive until 4pm on new years eve. I spent close to 800.00 so if early delivery was 50 more it wouldn't be a big deal. Next time I will order the day before I need it. Definitely glad I ordered George's stone crab

I had a terrible experience after several years of wonderful orders. Crabs were rancid, shriveled, and reeked of ammonia and the key lime pie showed up destroyed and likely melted on a dock before being shipped out on ice. They refunded me but I was out the $10 shipping protection and I'm honestly hesitant to order from here again because they had to know that the package they were sending out was rancid but still sent it.

Long time customer always ordered the large stone crab's which were always great. Decided to try the Jumbo's for the first time and the entire batch was bad. They only offered me 25% on a future order. Who does that?! They do! I said fine. Won't order again. Done. So today they have a free ship coupon so I said ok I will order my usual Large Stoners and use the 25% and the new free ship coupon. They come back and say no, only use one or the other. Someone over there forgot the customer is always right! Bye bye!

Georges lost me as a client 2 weeks ago. Claws arrived less than fresh including one rotten claw. See pics. CS apologized, explained new hires not adequately trained were reason for miss then offered a free pie. I found this resolution cheap and insulting. I advised CS caller to have management stick the pie up their exhaust pipe. This after knowing that I have spent literally thousands of dollars in previous years with them. What a cheap trick. Truluck's as an example once served me a less than adequate meal. They followed up with GM's phone call, comped meal, champagne on next visit, just a quality response all around. They impressed me with their efforts to make it right. I recommend them to friends and clients all of the time. There is a lot of competition in the restaurant industry in South Florida. Truclucks recognized this. George's revealed themselves as a cheap to-go operation with poor quality control and even poorer customer service relations /management. Epic Fail. I search online for the best claws at the best price for our 10th anniversary. Ordering seafood for my husband is always a risk because he lived in Naples, FL for many years and has high standards. But, I felt the risk was worth it. I had no experience with stone crabs but I have had dungeness and king crab. Nothing could have prepared me for the experience of these stone crab claws! They were sweet and delicious. An added bonus were the compliments from my husband. He thoroughly enjoyed them!! The large claws were perfect for the two of us. The mustard sauce was highly addictive! We have some leftover that I think will go on top of some chops or steaks. The crab claws arrived fresh and on time. Slight hiccup with the shipping label being cancelled which freaked me out, but customer service assured me it was on it's way. I immediately put them in the fridge and we ate them the following day for the best anniversary dinner!

I called the office a few times because the owner of Hospital Capital Partners tried to passively bully me. Roger, the OWNER, tried to post my personal information online. Unacceptable and unprofessional, which explains why this company is receiving such awful business reviews on here. ----- This company literally sent a response to my email moments after posting on Google reviews that they had no record of me purchasing anything from them in the last two years. The day before Thanksgiving, No one called us at all to say that we will not be receiving our crabs! We had to scramble & make other dinner arrangements! Terrible customer service. I ordered from George's for Christmas Dinner. I ordered a dinner for 4 and paid almost $500. They changed my order twice, both the shipping date and the size of the crab claws. The dinner include 2 key lime pies. After all that, a package came with the wrong contents. They were the wrong size claws and not a dinner for 4. there were no pies in the order. I called several times and email'd twice, as yet, not reply. Christmas is tomorrow and I now have no dinner for the holiday. Order at your own risk, you've been warned.

We received the order and when we opened it half of the order was colossal the rest were about half the size if that. I reached out to them with no success. I even offered to send them pictures. I would never buy from them again.

WARNING. WARNING. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. We've had Stone Crabs from Joes for the past 30 years in Christmas Eve. A former employee recommended this place and figured I'd give it a whirl. What a mistake. You clearly get what you pay for. Placed order in November to ensure I'd get my order, assuming they would fulfill in the order received. Saw their advertising online on Dec 22 assuring you could still get your crabs by Christmas. Felt safe as I was already locked in. Got a tracking number December 23. With delivery on December 24 as promised. Received an email December 24 at 11am telling me sorry but they ran out of crabs. How can that be? I ordered in November!! Clearly too late to go find stone crabs elsewhere. They should at least emailed me on the 23 when I may have been able to execute plan b. First time in 30 years we didn't have stone crabs for Christmas. Avoid this place like the plague. Use Joe's Stone Crabs. A bit pricier but reliable and professional.

Ordered $500+ crab claws for a Christmas dinner. Crab was shipped on time but arrived late and with melted ice packs smelling spoiled. I reached out immediately asking for a refund (12/28/22) and as of Valentines Day I've only received an auto responder. I called them and the rep said they were backed up due to a lot of delayed/cancelled shipments over Christmas due to the storm but assured me they'd get to me if I would be a little patient. Six weeks later I'm losing faith in this company. I've ordered from them before and loved their product but the customer service is awful. They're still taking orders and money but can't refund customers who paid and didn't receive what they paid for? C'mon George Stone Crab, do the right thing.

They cancelled my order on Dec 23rd without my consent - before it even shipped and did not refund me. I've tried to contact this business via email and telephone multiple times. The irony is that they state that due to snow and weather the order didn't make it - but I'm in FLORIDA and they advertise that the stone Crab Claws come from the Florida Keys. Doesn't sound right? Does it. Awful experience. $217.39 not refunded and zero communication for the past 3 weeks. Order number GSC18753. And spare yourself with the nonsense that you have sent out emails that may have gone to spam - I check that folder daily - there are ZERO emails from your company. Let's just cut the crap.

Then they blamed FedEx for the problem, when FedEx never even received the package. They said they shipped a 2nd order, but again nothing showed up and FedEx never received the package for delivery. They never answered the phone when I tried calling and email took hours to get a response, if I got one at all.

I've bought Stone Crab all over Florida but from now on it's only from George. They had a special and my order got mixed up. They replaced and were very apologetic about the mistake. Alex contacted me immediately when he realized there had been a mistake. He took care of everything! These are my go to guys from now on. Order quick because the season is over May 15.

Doesn't get any better then that without having to travel to Miami. I've order for ourselves too. Service, delivery is excellent, always as requested, nicely packaged. Best stone crabs in Miami!! I have been taking advantage of George's great deals during this pandemic and every time I order, it just keeps getting better! The crabs are extremely fresh, perfect in size and cracked impeccably. The service is top notch. The delivery driver always calls to say that he is on his way and every driver has been very friendly. I ordered these yesterday for Mother's Day and everyone was blown away. They also have amazing caviar and their homemade mustard sauce is to die for! They pay attention to every detail, even the personalized packaging. If your looking for the best stone crabs in Miami, look no further!

I ordered Stone Crabs and a key lime pie to be delivered to my house in NC on Christmas eve. The stone crabs were absolute perfection. The problem is I did not receive my key lime pie even though it was on the invoice and I was charged for it. I called George's Stone Crab immediately and got voicemail. I left a message with what my issue was and requested a phone call back or an email. I also emailed them. I called them again on December 27th and got their voice mail again and left a second message. I have not heard anything. I am very disappointed at this lack of customer service because the stone crabs were amazing and I was hoping to order again for future special occasions.

I placed an order several days in advance, to receive crab for Christmas Eve dinner (in NC). I noticed that nothing happened on the shipment tracker except "a label has been created." A rep let me know in the afternoon of Christmas Eve, when it was too late to make any decent alternate plans, that "the colder weather" had impacted the catch and I would receive nothing. The unacceptable part of this is not that the fishermen could not meet their quotas, but that they could not get a message out in time for a customer to make other plans. I will think twice before betting on this set-up again, and then it will probably be with a back-up plan ready to go.

We ordered 4lbs colossal craw from George delivered to Boston. It indeed took less than 24 hrs to reach us. Tho we understand the distance is kinda far that definitely the craw would not be as fresh as the one we tried in Miami, we are still disappointed somehow. First, they only put one pack of ice. It's not ice but a kind of liquid that makes the inside box cool. One pack doesn't really help. We paired almost 100 dollar for shipping and one or two more packs are expected. Second, tho the craw is good and sweat, still there is a lot of liquid going out from the craw. I guess Boston is too far and if you are in Boston, let's just go restaurant to have stone crab. If you are in Miami, order from George stone crab. Third, the craw is slightly smaller than the colossal craw I ordered when I was in Miami.

The service is abysmal. I was fiddling with their site forever trying to get local delivery, and there was clearly something wrong. I called 1 on the dot, when I gave up, and the woman was convinced I was doing something wrong and tried to place the order herself - realized there was a glitch. She said she'd call me right back, and I'd get my crabs. An hour went by, no call - it's now 2:03, technically passed delivery time. I called, a guy answered now, said sorry delivery is over for today. I told him I had already called. I explained the situation, and that no one had gotten back to me. He's like - I'm busy right now, but I'll call you back. I'm like ??? And he reassured me, we can get you your stone crabs today. I'm like ok perfect. It's 5pm, no one has called me. SO this review obviously isn't about the quality of food as I haven't been able to try it. Although, I will say their prices are HIGH. Only considered them because my local market was sold out, and figured I'd pay more for SERVICE. I was wrong.

Horrible Christmas dinner! Ordered for four $389.00 worth on December 8th to be delivered December 23rd. Paid for the insurance package protection plan thinking we had our basis covered... Christmas came and went with no crab, no one answers the phone or email. December 27th the box shows up stinking like rotten seafood. As I go online to file the insurance that we paid for, it now says they have no record we paid any insurance at all even though I have an email confirmation stating I do as well as bank statements saying the same. Horrible way to do business. Answering machine continuously says out fishing like it's a joke.. My Christmas dinner was not funny to say the least. Days have gone by and still no way to get a hold of any customer service representatives. Their fine print also states you have 15 days to file the claim yet there's no way to call anyone when the website says you never placed an order! I will never trust this company again. Watch out if you're planning on having a family dinner buying from this company. I will be filing a claim against them this week in hopes of some how getting reimbursed?

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer. Order placed on 12/13 and was to arrive 12/24 for our 12/25 Christmas dinner. Checked several times for Fed Ex tracking and only said a label was created. On 12/24 I called them to find our where the order was and received no return call. Called again on Monday 12/27 and was told they determined on 12/23 that they could not fill the order, claiming they sent an e-mail advising me that. No email was ever received. Was promised a refund in 5-7 business days. Still waiting for a refund and had to file a claim with my credit card company. I would never do business with this outfit.

If you like mealy stone crabs with meat that sticks to the shells, look no further. Not only is this a high priced rip off that serves up D- stone crabs, the customer service is literally non-existent. We placed an order for delivery and needed to get in touch with the restaurant to adjust the delivery date. Four days of frequent calling - no one ever answered the phone. Repeated emails went unanswered. My advice - read the one star reviews of this place and then look elsewhere!
