Incredible experience. Great communication and outstanding claws. We got the colossal size. They were huge. See photo I took. We ordered enough for a dinner for two but it fed us and our son who was visiting. My only recommendation is to offer by the person. They only offer for two, four, six. So I couldn’t order for three. Trust me we would have eaten it all. Mustard sauce was delicious. Delivered when scheduled. I will be ordering again soon and maybe sending for Christmas presents.

George Stone crab delivered a fantastic holiday experience for our family! The stone crab claws were bigger than advertised and so fresh and delicious. Added a Key Lime pie which was one of the best we’ve ever had. Delivery was smooth and professional! Would highly recommend and cant wait to order again here in Oklahoma!

We ordered stone crab claws for 10 for a holiday celebration. All arrived as scheduled and the claws were absolutely delicious. The communication from George’s is clear and helpful. Can’t recommend them enough.

I own a private chef company based in Austin, and love to include stone crabs on menus and seafood platters. I have ordered multiple times from George's to ship to Texas for special occasions.The crab claws are always shipped fresh, never frozen, and come in great packaging to keep cold. We really enjoyed our recent purchase from "George Stone Crab". Ordered on one and delivered the next in perfect condition. We especially enjoyed the sweet flavor of the crab claws & we hope to be buying from them again and again. Excellent quality & great customer service. We went with the medium sized because they were rated the sweetest and greatly appreciated the wooden mallet, bibs and their mustard sauce which were shipped with their "dinner of two" selection. The handy instruction sheet they sent with the order was also a nice touch. If you are looking for great tasting Stone Crabs, give them a try.

Normally I order in Joe's stone crab. I've always eaten there when visiting Florida. But I really had a taste for stone crab to celebrate new years eve with my adult kids. Joes wouldn't be delivered on time so my husband and I decided to try George's. The stone crab was fabulous, very sweet and actually less dense that joes. I think the fact that they ship with ice packs vs dry ice is a big difference, atleast that's what my son tells me. He's a chef who graduated from CIA ( culinary Institute of America) one of the top culinary schools in the world. The mustard sauce was slightly different than Joe's, more creamy but was perfect with the sweet crab. The key lime pie was also equal to joes in creamy texture and flavor but slightly less tart. My only complaint was that when I ordered i wasn't given an option for UPS early delivery. I chose UPS for $113.00 but package didn't arrive until 4pm on new years eve. I spent close to 800.00 so if early delivery was 50 more it wouldn't be a big deal. Next time I will order the day before I need it. Definitely glad I ordered George's stone crab

These guys wrecked my Thanksgiving. Claws did not arrive - whole family is disappointed and I'm scrambling to find a suitable replacement. They made excuses and then disappeared leaving me with only hope that they would arrive as promised. They didn't. They'll even try to talk you into three day old, travel delayed claws if / when they arrive late. Just so they can keep the sale. Pay for fresh holiday claws, get sick eating spoiled late claws after your holiday event. No thanks. They don't seem to care about the client, just protecting themselves. They seem amateurish and shouldn't be trusted with delivery of perishables. I've been a loyal customer for events and holidays, but no more. Not there when you need them. Can't influence any positive outcome or help. They tell you how they can't do anything to help and push you toward their shady processes, designed delay you and to best serve their interests. Then they absolutely disappear. You know that nervous feeling you get when you spend a lot of money online for a product that's requires time, attention, precision professionalism, and care? If it's George Stone Crab you're ordering from - listen to your gut. These folks don't have what it takes. Disappointing and shameful.

Claws arrived in SC in great shape and were delicious. Staff was on point and, when inclement weather threatened my delivery, reached out to me with options to ensure my delivery would work out. Their attention to detail really saved my event and made me look good. Looking forward to placing another order soon.

Listen up! I am not sure why George Stone Crabs is averaging a 3 star but I tell you they are 5 stars hands down. I lI've in Houston but I am a native Floridian and I know stone crabs. They have the best crabs in town. I have them shipped to Houston and buy them when I visit home. You have got to try them for yourself. I am a long time customer.

Great quality and on time delivery. The crab were delicious. The fedex delivery was overnight and fresh crabs inside and still cold when delivered with styrofoam and ice packs.

The stone crab claws were AWESOME!!! Living in Nashville and coming from living in South Florida, where I could go get stone crab whenever I wanted to, this was the BEST splurge that I could give myself.

George's provides a great service and their staff is great! We have bought from them about 6 times and have received their yummy crab about 8 times with very feee issues. I will say that the delivery cost is quite high, but that is the shipping co, not George's. Our last order was unfortunately, completely satisfactory, with many of the claws being inedible. With any perishable food product, this can happen, and I am sure that George's will send me a replacement order. Like I said George's is great, but we got a bad shipment.

My order arrived on time. The claws for the most part were as described. We've been enjoying stone crabs every Xmas eve for the last 10+ year. Joes have become part of our family's tradition.

Our stone crab dinner was delivered for New Year's Eve dinner without a hitch. So, so good! The crabs were perfectly shipped and the key lime pie was delicious! Just what we wanted to ring in the new year!

I've tried Charlies Stone Crab and they were great, Captain's Stone Crab and had a horrible experience then I tried George's Stone Crab and they were great! Fresh and delivered right on time. Don't hesitate.

We ordered the large stone crab claws for our Thanksgiving meal. They were delicious.,13 came in the order for two so we have enough for another meal tonight! That's always a huge win. We had the large stone crab claws several weeks ago for another special occasion. We thought our T-giving claws were slightly less sweet. Hence, the 4, not 5 rating. A big mystery is that they are shipped overnight from Miami to us by Fedex Priority. They didn't arrive until 2 pm on Wednesday. I would prefer they arrived earlier, by noon at least, to give me more time to unbox, rinse, and place on ice for the following day. I do find their customer service representatives very helpful and friendly. Another pet peeve... the day after I ordered, feee shipping became a promotion. Since I used some loyalty points when I purchased these, I couldn't change it to get the free shipping u less I wanted to lose my loyalty points. The free shipping would have been a better discount/deal.

I'm never disappointed. My crabs come at a perfect time. They are always fresh and the taste is amazing. I order 1-2 times a month.

I have caught stone crabs, eaten them in Florida, and ordered them online. Nothing compares to George Stone Crab. The crab claws are as fresh as the ones I used to catch. Delivery is fast and they always arrive in perfect condition. And, if you sometimes make a mistake with and order they will correct it for you right away with no problem regardless of how bad the mistake was. We are so lucky to have them.

I received my first season shipment last week and as usual George did not disappoint! The customer service was excellent, shipping was on time and the crabs were the freshest ever! This is shaping up to be an excellent season....I've already ordered again for delivery this week!

I had a terrible experience after several years of wonderful orders. Crabs were rancid, shriveled, and reeked of ammonia and the key lime pie showed up destroyed and likely melted on a dock before being shipped out on ice. They refunded me but I was out the $10 shipping protection and I'm honestly hesitant to order from here again because they had to know that the package they were sending out was rancid but still sent it.

The whole experience was outstanding, the ordering process was quick and efficient, the communication was frequent and helpful, the order was delivered on time and packaged perfectly and most important the crabs were delicious...I can't wait to reorder

Georges lost me as a client 2 weeks ago. Claws arrived less than fresh including one rotten claw. See pics. CS apologized, explained new hires not adequately trained were reason for miss then offered a free pie. I found this resolution cheap and insulting. I advised CS caller to have management stick the pie up their exhaust pipe. This after knowing that I have spent literally thousands of dollars in previous years with them. What a cheap trick. Truluck's as an example once served me a less than adequate meal. They followed up with GM's phone call, comped meal, champagne on next visit, just a quality response all around. They impressed me with their efforts to make it right. I recommend them to friends and clients all of the time. There is a lot of competition in the restaurant industry in South Florida. Truclucks recognized this. George's revealed themselves as a cheap to-go operation with poor quality control and even poorer customer service relations /management. Epic Fail. Long time customer always ordered the large stone crab's which were always great. Decided to try the Jumbo's for the first time and the entire batch was bad. They only offered me 25% on a future order. Who does that?! They do! I said fine. Won't order again. Done. So today they have a free ship coupon so I said ok I will order my usual Large Stoners and use the 25% and the new free ship coupon. They come back and say no, only use one or the other. Someone over there forgot the customer is always right! Bye bye!

I search online for the best claws at the best price for our 10th anniversary. Ordering seafood for my husband is always a risk because he lived in Naples, FL for many years and has high standards. But, I felt the risk was worth it. I had no experience with stone crabs but I have had dungeness and king crab. Nothing could have prepared me for the experience of these stone crab claws! They were sweet and delicious. An added bonus were the compliments from my husband. He thoroughly enjoyed them!! The large claws were perfect for the two of us. The mustard sauce was highly addictive! We have some leftover that I think will go on top of some chops or steaks. The crab claws arrived fresh and on time. Slight hiccup with the shipping label being cancelled which freaked me out, but customer service assured me it was on it's way. I immediately put them in the fridge and we ate them the following day for the best anniversary dinner!

Good for us!! Packaged well and tasted great! I would order again from George's Stone Crabs!

Update on 5/5: Hi Roger, I have not heard from anyone aside from this email response I posted on Yelp. I called the office a few times because the owner of Hospital Capital Partners tried to passively bully me. Roger, the OWNER, tried to post my personal information online. Unacceptable and unprofessional, which explains why this company is receiving such awful business reviews on here. ----- This company literally sent a response to my email moments after posting on Google reviews that they had no record of me purchasing anything from them in the last two years. Sherry sends me a direct message to my email. You cannot get more awful than this.

Never delivered... customer service as I get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. LOTS of reviews with people having the same issue. Can't blame fed-ex, they never received them to ship...

My family ordered $1,000 of crab for NYE and they didn't deliver it saying their system had fulfillment issues. They didn't respond to our messages or calls until 7PM on New Year's Day.

Can't wait for the stone crab season to start soon. I always order from George Stone Crab. Even if I need it at the last minute I know I can count on getting them the next day after I order. They arrive fresh and the mustard sauce is a must!

I ordered several hundred dollars of colossal stone crabs from this establishment for Mother's Day. We received the order and when we opened it half of the order was colossal the rest were about half the size if that. I reached out to them with no success. I even offered to send them pictures. I would never buy from them again.

We order and paid for 3lbs of jumbo stone crabs over $250 Two weeks prior for our Thanksgiving dinner. The day before Thanksgiving, No one called us at all to say that we will not be receiving our crabs! We had to scramble & make other dinner arrangements! Terrible customer service. We would Never deal with these unprofessional people ever again!

This is the best online experience for Florida Stone Crabs! Delivery was prompt and stayed fresh, the colossal size seems to be the best size and were huge!

I ordered from George's for Christmas Dinner. I ordered a dinner for 4 and paid almost $500. They changed my order twice, both the shipping date and the size of the crab claws. The dinner include 2 key lime pies. After all that, a package came with the wrong contents. They were the wrong size claws and not a dinner for 4. there were no pies in the order. I called several times and email'd twice, as yet, not reply. Christmas is tomorrow and I now have no dinner for the holiday. Order at your own risk, you've been warned.

Way over priced. But my major complaint is that they continually send me text messages and I can't stop them.

WARNING. WARNING. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. We've had Stone Crabs from Joes for the past 30 years in Christmas Eve. A former employee recommended this place and figured I'd give it a whirl. What a mistake. You clearly get what you pay for. Placed order in November to ensure I'd get my order, assuming they would fulfill in the order received. Saw their advertising online on Dec 22 assuring you could still get your crabs by Christmas. Felt safe as I was already locked in. Got a tracking number December 23. With delivery on December 24 as promised. Received an email December 24 at 11am telling me sorry but they ran out of crabs. How can that be? I ordered in November!! Clearly too late to go find stone crabs elsewhere. They should at least emailed me on the 23 when I may have been able to execute plan b. First time in 30 years we didn't have stone crabs for Christmas. Avoid this place like the plague. Use Joe's Stone Crabs. A bit pricier but reliable and professional.

I ordered through the website and received several pounds of ammonia sewer crab claws. Some with a green substance on the shells. Expensive and disappointing. I recommend against ordering from this company.
