It took a while to figure out how to get to this restaurant because it’s at the top of the George Pompidou museum (6th floor) and there are no signs at the entrance about the restaurant at all. We had to ask several people inside about where to find it. Once we got there everything else went smoothly, although they first sat us in the sun with me having to look directly into the sun to see my partner. Not good. But they allowed us to change tables easily because the restaurant was empty. There is glass all around which allows for spectacular views of the Paris skyline. The wait staff were very nice and helpful in guiding us to make good meal and wine choices. The food came very quickly and was beautifully plated. We started with a nice salad that had pomegranate in it. My entree was “Silver Cod” and was perfectly cooked and delicious. My partner had salmon which was also very good. Highly recommend this place!

We had an absolutely amazing birthday dinner here. I have always loved the ambiance and decor and in Le Georges, but this time I’m impressed of the staff. The staff is super friendly, professional and attentive, with a personal touch. We came with flowers, they immediately pulled a ice bucket for champagne for the flowers. We changed seat from outside to inside mid meal. They handled everything gracefully without any hesitation. When we want to have the birthday cake we brought, they made it a special moment with singing and the candle as what I see they always do. I loved everything. My friend was unfortunately not in a good mood before dinner, but we ended up having such an amazing time because of Le Georges. For that, I send my gratitude :) alongside with my five star recommendation.

Google
A modern and chic restaurant at the top of Centre Pompidou with great views of the whole city where you can see Sacré-Cœur, Notre-Dame cathedral and of course, the Eiffel Tower. Food was great but could be better for the price, especially given that it is a nice restaurant. I ordered the steak frites and my partner the lamb chops, my steak was dry on the outside, but tender on the inside, the lamb and mash potatoes were delicious. Service was great and attentive despite how busy it was. I would go here again for the nice views of the city. Prior reservations are required and recommended that you sit inside for better views of the city.

Google
We came to Le George expecting a true fine dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. The view is undeniably stunning — that’s the only highlight of the evening. The food was below average, lacking both creativity and flavor. For the high price point, we expected much more in terms of quality and presentation. The service also felt inattentive and not up to the standard of a restaurant that positions itself as upscale. Disappointing overall. Not worth the price tag or the fine dining label, apart from the beautiful setting.

Google
Amazing and unconventional location, terrific architecture, good food and drinks, very nice and young staff. Great Dj and lovely music. We really enjoyed it! Not recommended if you’re looking for a classic, boring and conventional restaurant.

Google
The food was amazing; we tried beef tartare, escargot’s, sea bass, chateaubriand, pasta with truffles and we had some white wine - Chablis Premier Cru perfectly with the food. The waiters and the personnel were friendly and professional - looking like models 😍. The view was one of the best in Paris, the only aspect to be improved were the toilets.

George – above the rooftops of Paris If you want to step into the future while in Paris, to see the world from the perspective of a dove of peace, then George is the place to be. It's nostalgic, and yet the ascent—those escalators rising skyward—is still an elevating experience. And once you arrive, the sky opens up. Old Paris lies below you like a quiet memory. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, yes—but it's inside where you truly arrive. A cocoon of light and soft futurism, still shaped by that science-fiction idea the building once embodied. The Centre Pompidou was just opening when I was growing up. It was the future then. And somehow, it still is—a flagship of modernity that continues to carry its promise. You're led to your place with Grace. A table with white linen, a single rose that now seems slightly out of place—almost outdated—but still glowing gently. The menu is refined, well-curated french cuisine ,the food consistently excellent. But that's just the frame. You come for the effect. The mood. The space between the view and the silence. The people who sit there—many of them seem to have returned, not for the first time. Of course, there are tourists. The place has earned that. But there’s balance, and that balance creates the atmosphere. I always go before I leave Paris. Before I jump on the train and return to everyday life. I leave in love with the new tranquility of Paris with the moment, with life in such a complicated timeline

Google
This was a perfect dining experience. The food was incredibly good, especially the famous silver cod. The view was spectacular. The music was in the background - right where it belongs. But the best part was the service. **Steven** was exceptional. He met our every need with a friendly smile on his face, and even gave me a gentle lesson on how to pronounce "mille feuilles". 😄 Other than the tuna tartare I didn't take any photos because we were to busy eating that delicious food! Thanks for a great memory!

Yelp
Went here for NYE and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is the very top floor of a library with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. The staff were all impeccably dressed and semi celebrating as they worked really hard to take care of the whole restaurant. It was really amazing service It was preset menu with a good selection of options. When you arrive you are given caviar and champagne. My starter was the smoked salmon and for the main I chose the scallops. Really did earn the 5 stars

Yelp
grifted. this place deserves a negative star review. this place is truly predatory- it targets people who have never been to paris and is even unable to offer a decent view of the city. immediately when i entered with my partner, the setting felt unprofessional and off. we were offered a view near the windows but when i sat next to my partner to view it with her, the waiter said it was unacceptable. i had to sit across and remain unable to view the city. bear in mind that the restaurant was practically empty wt this point. the food was dramatically overpriced. we ordered a tuna tartar that was less than a cup for 28 euros. the carpaccio had a whole stem of basil on it. i was offered peas and received green beans. steamed with oil and salt, incredible! 30 euros for this mess of a meal. at the end, our waiter had the audacity to ask for a tip. denying of course a decent food and a decent meal. i asked to clarify, ensuring that i did not misunderstand: in paris, it is rare to do this except for extraordinary experiences. do not come to this place unless the management changes. a grift against fine cuisine.

Yelp
Go for the view and the ambiance, and not for the food, and you will not be disappointed. It can be intimidating as the entire waitstaff look like they are fresh out of the runway. There was also DJ music. But we lucked out with a very friendly server, who did break the ice. Yes, sitting on a bench with a stranger in a relatively empty restaurant was really weird. Some people chose to sit at the empty end of the restaurant for that reason. But luckily for us, our neighbors left much earlier than we did. I did enjoy the fact that we were not rushed out of our table, as I was waiting for the Eiffel Tower to light up and wanted to enjoy drinks, coffee, and dessert after dinner. If the prices are too much for that, then yes, you can absolutely enjoy the same view from the terrace for free.

Yelp
Expect a stereotypical Parisian experience. Half the waiters are very kind and half are rude. My uncle lived in France half his life and only at this restaurant did a male waiter and female hostess pretend they don't understand him "huh" and switch to English. They also have an attitude. The other waiters were kind and generally quick, but at the end of the meal we wanted to order coffees but it took 20 minutes before someone took our order. Beef tartare and foie gras were good and presently nicely. Overall, an average experience. Would expect better for a restaurant next to a gallery.

Hayley Z.

Yelp
Astonishingly horrible. We expected that food and service would be mediocre, considering the only true draw is the view, yet was so much worse than we anticipated. Restaurant was nearly empty when we came in (with reservation), yet somehow it was "not possible" for us to sit side by side to look at the only positive of Georges - the view.. Further highlights included the stale bread, receiving one cold, unwrapped round of butter (by request), lacking even one extra serving plate to eat off of?? Dishes themselves were okay, but I've had better at my neighborhood cafe without paying Michelin level prices. If you still are set on seeing the view (that is just as magnificent from the Pompidou terrace on the same floor, know that service will go out of their way to make the experience uncomfortable and degrading. You'll find yourself wishing you hadn't spent a cent.

Yelp
The place is atop Centre Pompidou. Take note of this because when went here for dinner finding the entrance to the place was a challenge. We had to go around a couple of times and ended up calling the reception so we can find the dimly lit entrance. The venue has a modern aesthetic to it. And view on a clear night was stunning. Unfortunately that's where the highlights end. The food, apart from the sardinillas, were forgettable. The cocktails were too. The young waitstaff were focused more on how they look rather than actually checking on their customers. And they had the audacity to ask for a tip when asked for the bill. So unless you like posting on social media just for the aesthetics, Georges is not for you.

Yelp
Location tip: if you made reservations at Georges and can't figure out where it is, just look for the giant set of escalators and take it all the way up. You can also take the elevator to the 6th floor (there's security there) and then another elevator to the top. The views from Georges are gorgeous but I'll admit, I was very surprised at how dead the restaurant was at 9pm. When we showed up, I thought maybe they were closed and we'd come on the wrong day. On the positive side, we were able to get a seat with a great view of the Eiffel Tower. While the food was very good, it wasn't even close to the best meals I've had in Paris. Some of the dishes were "trying a little too hard" but I still appreciated the effort. The smoked salmon/stuffed avocado (see pic), for example, was a great idea. They cut an avocado in half and stuffed it with salmon roe (which sounded amazing) but the dish was dying for texture and citrus. However, the tarama (google it) served with lemon and the little pancakes was SO SO SO good! I had no ideas pancakes would go so well with a fish-based dip! We had a hamachi dish and a few others that were also very good. I highly recommend the 2016 Chateau La Nerthe, Chateauneuf de Papa for a beautiful red wine!

Yelp
I would give this place Zero stars if I could. Less than 24 hours before my confirmed reservation time, I received an email stating that my reservation was cancelled without any explanation. I was highly disappointed with their generic nonchalant response. With less than 24 hours notice, it gave me little time to make alternative plans for a special dinner. Their unprofessional service definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth without even trying their food. I will take my business elsewhere.

S B.

Yelp
Definitely the best rooftop restaurant in Paris with views of all the top sites . Service was outstanding and each dish was três magnificent. They didn't rush us as we were in from London for the day and it turned into a two 1/2 hour lunch. All good!

Yelp
We decided to come here because it was highly recommended by friends. I had a feeling it wouldn't be good and I was unfortunately right. Reservations were easy to make but due to construction, the place was a bit hard to find. We were seated at a table with a so-so view of the Eiffel Tower. The service was also only so so as we had a really hard time flagging staff down for service. They basically came by only to drop off the plates and that was it. The food itself was less than mediocre and severely over priced. The escargot was okay but nothing special. The salmon appetizer was the best dish we had that night, but it is raw salmon in a little bit if sauce. The main course - I got just a simple pasta because I wasn't that hungry and nothing on the menu looked really good. The pasta was one but tasted like canned pasta because of the sauce. The sea bass my friends got had zero flavor. We paid quite a bit of money if this meal and it wasn't good at all. Maybe at one point this place served good food but now it's just a tourist trap. There are tons of places you can go to all over Paris for great and free views of the Eiffel Tower. I would not recommend this place.

Yelp
At first, this place was a little off...too brightly lit, too cold, a little hurried with wanting us to order quickly. Did not stick to any dress code...other diners were wearing sneakers, sweatshirts, torn jeans. Things definitely got better. Our young server did a very good job of making recs and checking on us regularly. Food was solidly very good. My husband loved his escargot, caviar, foie gras. My pasta was excellent with a red, spicy sauce.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is average. Nice view. Go there for drinks and desert or lunch/brunch Very fake "french" attraction

Yelp
Aloha, ok I have to say yelpers, Le Georges is a beautiful rooftop bar with great outdoor seating and yes pricey. They gave us some olives to go with our cocktails, nice touch. The views are fantastic of the city of Paris. You can see forever. We opted for drinks to drink in the views. Based on yelp reviews we didn't have dinner, just a drink and would definitely come again. Located on top of the Pompidou - museum and library in the heart of Paris. Definitely worth the views. And great for people watching, as the staff are beautiful young people who some are definitely models. Fun! Enjoy!
google avatar

Jules M.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars, I would. Overpriced but acceptable in light of the view, but the staff will put you off your meal. And you can get the view for free and minus the attitude on the 5th floor of the museum.

David I.

Yelp
What a view, only outdone by service and food. We arrived early to visit the museum at its opening. After nearly 2 hours of modern art, we decided we needed a break and went upstairs to the top of the museum for our restaurant reservations. Being mid week, they weren't terribly busy, but I'm glad that we did have the reservatio We decided we were going to eat light since we had a heavy meal planned for dinner. We had a mix of salads and I had gazpacho as my main. The gazpacho was as fresh as it could be, and came with a couple of accoutrements, including freshly made croutons and diced vegetables. George is about the food, yes, but it's also about the service in the experience. We enjoyed all of that and more.

Yelp
Rooftop restaurant/bar with detailed service! Need I say anything else? After searching for an entrance around the Center Pompidou we finally found our entrance in the back with a private elevator up to the 5th or 6th floor then another elevator up to the top! Not to mention Georges is located at the top of a very, very well know museum which I truly do regret not having a chance to glance at. So Im not sure what the reservations protocol is for smaller parties is but having booked for 8 there was a 320 Euro cancellation fee if canceled in short notice. Which I totally get cause this place did get packed. FYI : dining in a rooftop of a massive museum does come with a cost and I don't only mean financial. HEAVY WIND so dress warm no heaters! Also beware, we broke cups and so did MANY OTHERS. You're literally asked/told to put your wine cups sideways if empty with cups overlapped two or three at a time just so they don't slide off from the high winds. While everyone's trying to fix their hair while being seated you just can't fathom what is going on, you have the view of Notre dame and the Eiffel Tower just doesn't get any better! We started with an affordable wine from their BIO selection after being seated. With a few cheers we were all ready to order. The waiters/waitresses took very good care of us. We had guests with food restrictions and our waitress took her time to explain what is best for them. For starters Fresh basil and heirloom tomatoes with a balsamic reduction, eggplant with burrata and the famous 6 snails slathered in herbs and garlic. Still dreaming about those tomatoes! But all in all great starters! Next was my filet with the option of one sauce or half n half. You know I went with the half and half option;au poivre and Béarnaise. Ordered medium, it was everything I expected. Good steak, cooked well, but I must say my steak was closer to rare, but complaining it's filet!! Now on the other side of my plate was mashed potatoes. There's one thing I won't forget is their mashed potatoes, holy moly. Good stuff. Buttery goodness. Dinner for 8 people with a bottle of wine and some cocktails, rooftop with all the fun to come total cost : 550 euro. 2 hours spent well. Just a reminder there is no tipping option anywhere. So it's up to you to be kind and courteous considering you just received that in service!

Yelp
We went here for my birthday dinner! We couldn't get a reservation, but they seated us anyway, inside. That was fine with me because it was a very hot day. I ordered the chicken, which came with curry sauce and chutney, and it was very good. The chicken was juicy, and the sash were delicious. We also had the chocolate lava cake, and it was delivered by some very kind and very game waiters who sang "happy birthday, baby boo" at my friend's request. The view was worth the expensive prices on the menu. We had a clear view of the Eiffel Tower at dark, sparkles and all.

Edward S.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst dining experience we have ever had in many years of coming to Paris..

Eugene L.

Yelp
Stay away, typical tourist trap but with pretty good food. Expect to pay double for what the good food in the center of Paris costs, just because this place is on the top of the Pompidou Center. The place was packed with large tourist parties, mostly Americans, who did not care for the price and level of service as this is advertised as dinner with the view of Paris attraction. Be prepared to sit at the same table with other couples/ groups and elbow with tables next to you as the seating arranged along the outside glass wall that provides the view. So if you are seated with your back to the window - you get no view, just an expensive dinner with bad service, but at least your dining partner gets the view. If you are seated two or three tables in (away from the window), the entire party gets just an expensive dinner with bad service.

Charlotte S.

Yelp
Had a dinner here and the food was great. The view of the Eiffel Tower was spectacular to say the least. The view of Paris in general was amazing. What really made this experience so much better was our waitress, Sarah. Sarah was very attentive, super polite, and very welcoming! I would recommend all around.
google avatar

Keri J.

Yelp
The food was great but the vibe was really weird to us. We were super excited for a good meal with a view but they seated my boyfriend and I at a table next to another couple and my seat was a bench that I shared with the girl next to me. That part was strange so we moved. The waiters/waitresses also dressed in club clothes. Waitresses also wore purses which threw me off and they kept bumping into and dropping things. Food was good but we almost left because the vibe just wasn't it. We also asked for tap water and we're charged $8.50 for a bottle of water, which seems like a lot to me.
google avatar

S S.

Yelp
First time in Paris. Cool vibe. Food was delicious. Views stunning. Servers very very friendly. Would recommend
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
The French know how to serve you right. I asked for a rum and coke light, and I get a nice glass bottle of soda, rum in a tall glass, and mini tin bucket filled with ice, and a spoon. Fantastic! The drink was strong and super delicious. We also ordered champagne and it was nice and cool. Thai terrace has an excellent view of the city, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, and much more. A great place to relax after hours of walking in the museum.

Kelly B.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks. Friendly wait staff. Incredible view- even on a rainy day!

Yelp
We had a night here! Nuit Blanche, fashion week, and Saturday was a magical combination. We lucked into a 10 pm reservation, which allowed us to see some of the art beforehand. Our server, Farah, settled us in to a good location and brought us a terrific wine and some water. I started with a tender lobster salad. The marvelous asparagus was a surprise. All so flavorful, I just had a touch of the creamy, mustardy sauce. I then had the silver cod, which was just firm enough and perfectly cooked. My partner had the vitello tonnato and some luscious, salty caviar. We were treated to a great evening of food and people watching, what with all the fashion week habitues peacocking about. Even the dj was spinning some great remixes. Typically, I'm not a fan of too much music in restaurants, but he added to the fun. The view of Paris is exquisite.
google avatar

Ali D.

Yelp
Absolutely magical evening here. The food is phenomenal, I can't put into words how good the truffle pasta and steak are. Highly recommended! In addition to this, the view of the Eiffel tower and Notre Dame is phenomenal from this place!

Yelp
"we have a philosophy about what KIND of people we place WHERE in the restaurant" unbelievable bad service, horrendous.

Paul I.

Yelp
After searching for 2+ hours to find a restaurant open on Christmas Day, we finally were able to make a reservation for 7 of us at Le Georges. We were worried because there were many reviews about arrogant staff, poor service and marginal food. We were pleasantly surprised as everyone was very friendly, the food was good (a bit expensive, but worth it) and the view and decor of the interior were fun to experience.
google avatar

Nick X.

Yelp
I came in with mixed feelings after hearing both great words from my hotel concierge but saw some mediocre reviews on Yelp. I had to experience it myself. I went with my wife on a Thursday evening at 7PM for dinner to give it a try. Positive: location is great with instagramable decor. Food is well thought out and prepared as each dish contains complex flavors that makes the meal very enjoyable. Areas of improvement: although the staff was attentive and friendly, they got all my orders wrong. I ordered two tasting menu (125 euros) and even discussed the choice of entrees with the server, yet I was brought the flavor menu (95 euros) which to be honest, I didn't noticed until the bill came. Although still enjoyable, I would have like to gotten what I wanted. I also ordered octopus in addition but the food never came out. To the staff's credit, they send us extra dessert to compensate but again, I'd expect restaurants of this caliper to get orders correctly.
google avatar

Cathy F.

Yelp
The view is breathtaking from here! You can see almost every significant landmarks in Paris at this rooftop venue. I had one of the best escargots I've ever had and "The Famous Silver Cod by Georges" that indeed should be famous. My friend loved the Tom Yum eggplant she ordered. Both our order came with a side of very aromatic Thai rice that's very well cooked with possibly chicken or veggie stock. I don't usually eat rice at any French restaurant where's good bread but I finished the rice there! When coffee are served, gladly I didn't overlook the container with table sugar as there are little squares of dark chocolate. How delightful it was my whole experience there. It does get a bit tricky to find the right entrance and the right elevator to reach the restaurant on the top of a massive building but I hope you read this to know that there's a dedicated entrance with signage says "Le Georges" even if your French is limited to ask for directions like me. C'est Si Bon! Fin.

Yelp
My boyfriend booked an 8pm dinner for us in Paris. We were running late and were worried that we might lose our reservation, but he called and they were nice about it. The restaurant is at top of a museum, and the entrance up is extremely hot. However, once you get to the top, the view of the city is amazing! I recommend booking a late evening to get a catch of the sunset and night at the same time. To start, we got the Avocado with Alaskan King Crab and the Quinoa Salad. Both were delicious. For entrees, I got the chicken breast with curry and my BF got the salmon. Both were served with really good steamed rice. We got a bottle of Pinot for $50, and a bottle of still water for $8. In total, our dinner came out to be about $200. It is very pricey, but the views, service, and overall aesthetics of the restaurant (not to mention a live DJ) are to die for.
google avatar

Benjamin K.

Yelp
On a sunny week day, definitely worth the visit for a late lunch. While service was so-so, Paris views and good food made for a pleasant, (very) slow lunch.

Charles G.

Yelp
Great views and good appetizer but the steak were awful. We ordered two and took one bite and that was it. Way way too undercooked and tasteless. Just come up for a picture but do not eat here
google avatar

Alexis P.

Yelp
I enjoyed every minute of my experience here. From the food, to the view, to the atmosphere, and the service. We came here on a Saturday night, and after taking all of the escalators to the restaurant, the view was amazing, especially the sign of the Eiffel Tower. We were promptly seated in the inside section (they have an inside and outside section) and the server came over right after we were seated. Even the simplicity of the table set up and roses in the middle of the table, it was amazing. We ordered several appetizers, our meal, and amazing desserts. We also all got glasses of wine, although I don't remember the wine I ordered I know it was suggested by the waitress and tasted amazing. For dessert we had the sherbet which was simple but tasty.
google avatar

Lalida S.

Yelp
Not sure why this place has lower reviews but my friends and I had an absolutely fantastic time here for our last meal in Paris. We booked reservations very easily online for a party of 5 for a 7PM dinner on a Sunday night. I ended up calling to move the reservations to 8 PM no problem. Our server was excellent and our meal was great. The rooftop allows for a special view of Paris, including great views of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. The truffle mushroom ravioli was easily the best ravioli I've ever had in my life and the nutella milkshake was also amazing. They have an indoor and outdoor patio that you can sit at. We were placed indoors, but the outdoor area has heaters for the cold and decor was fantastic to fit with the rest of the Pompidou.

Yelp
This place is best at night when it's lit up . It's literally a restaurant u would only imagine on a star ship enterprise . The drinks and the food are wonderful . I had the sea bass which was in a Thai cream bath of love . I tried my friends martini which was delicious and we shared two desserts at the end which were soooooo yum . The lemon tart tasted like a blood lemon sauce with a cream puff of magic in the center . Unbelievable experience with views of the entire city . I may go back just for a drink and dessert!

Yelp
LE GEORGES is a modern brasserie on the top floor of the Centre POMPIDOU Museum. There is indoor and outdoor seating and I choose to sit outside. The restaurant is on the expensive side but worth it for the spectacular view of the rooftops of Paris. My only issue was the cigarette smoke I had to endure while dining there and the tables were very close to one another. It was as if I could join in on everyone's conversations. We were that close! My server was very attentive and offered to move me to a table under a heating lamp if I got too cold. I enjoyed sea bass in Tom Yam chile broth as well as a delicious mango cheesecake. The menu is quite fresh with a selection of pumpkin soup, quinoa salad, Canadian lobster salad, Thai spring rolls, shrimp, foie gras, and smoked salmon. Larger dish selections include Peking duck, pan seared veal chop, beef filet, beef carpaccio, ravioli, and spicy grilled tuna. Their dessert menu is extensive with their mango cheesecake from "Thoumieux." It was divine and I wished for two! Did not want to share!!! They also had as choices, a lemon meringue pie, apple pie, mille feuille, chocolate fondant, gelatin, ice cream, and Rocamadour cheese. It was a happy moment winding down after the museum visit and watching a beautiful sunset.

Yelp
Let's be real. This restaurant is not really about the food, though it is fine but nothing spectacular. Service was good, and our waiter - Julien - was FANTASTIC. Major props to him for being awesome. This place is about Paris sunsets, the view off of the Eiffel Tower, and the kickin' music spinning with an amazing DJ. Call Ted Fee and looks to be on Mixcloud. He is AMAZING.

Natalia B.

Yelp
Beautiful views. The food is not great, unfortunately. My partner's steak was tasteless, as if it came from the depth of the freezer. My chicken supreme was just average. No joy in eating this food.

Yelp
HORRIBLE STAFF GOOD FOOD We had a reservation and seated on time, however asked for a corner table, and told it was a VIP table that was reserved for the night (wait for it...) Upon seating at our table, they asked we sit across from one another vs next to each other to allow for other people to sit at the table...again half empty restaurant. Me being the "rebel" decided to sit next to my partner and got to enjoy the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower at night, which I might add is amazing and a reason to dine with the limited high floor restaurants in Paris. 2.5 hours later and the "VIP" table is empty as well as half the restaurant. What a great use of space....they are closing now...

Tim L.

Yelp
This place is horrible. I came here several times over the years and it has gotten really bad. The staff and security are super rude. They need to shut down and reinvent itself with new management, new chef and new staff. Don't go here!

Yelp
This is an absolutely gorgeous location and a must-see if you are visiting Paris. The view from this restaurant is beautiful inside and out, there is open air seating and indoor seating and plenty of room for larger groups. This service is very good, plenty of staff and they are just as beautiful as the restaurant and the view. Whether you visit in the daytime or the evening you will be pleased as it sits up top of a modern art museum.

Yelp
This was a hard review for me to write because you get a spectacular view of Paris with floor to ceiling glass windows on the 6th floor of the musuem which can be seen if you're seated inside to the far right of the door. So if you're making a reservation, ask to be seated indoors. The night we came it was the mister's birthday and our salesperson at LV who recommended this place suggested she make the reservation for us so she could speak to them in French and tell them it was his birthday and they would put a candle on his dessert. When we arrived to the restaurant, they tried to seat us outside but luckily found a table inside as we requested for it. The view and ambiance was perfect. That's pretty much where it ended. They had a company dinner there that night and a few large tables so everything we ordered, took awhile to get to us. Appetizer was good but we didn't get plates to eat off of. By the time our entrees came, 45 mins after our appetizer, my entree came out cold which I sent back and when it came back, it was piping hot. The mister's food was lukewarm but he was so hungry, he just ate it. His entree barely filled him up as well as mine. I suggested to him that we order another entree to split but he said he didn't want to wait another 45 mins to eat again. I had asked for another glass of Veuve Clicquot Rose (mister doesn't really drink or else I would have gotten the bottle to share), it never came. We decided against dessert because was unsure how long that would take. I would suggest coming here if you can just have drinks outside on the terrace for the spectacular view. Also, there was a small mice that was running around. The table next to mine saw it too. :/ We tried to tell the waiter but he waved us off as if we were crazy. But I just read another review on here that had that happen to them too!

Yelp
Great food, great views, great service! I recommend coming dressed in the nicer side. I also think it helps to speak French when dealing with the staff. We got the lobster as an appetizer, a steak and vegetables. Didn't love the home fries but everything else was delicious.

Yelp
Came here just for drinks; really beautiful view of Paris (came at night). Able to sit either inside or outside- we sat outside and were served rather quickly. Took down one star because we were inside originally, and waited about 15 minutes for menus (which we had to get ourselves) and felt a little ignored since tables that came after already had drinks. Other than that recommend for a quick drink while overlooking Paris.

Yelp
We arrived early and were seated immediately. After enjoying the stunning views for twenty minutes we asked the hostess to send our server around. The server came immediately and we ordered a cocktail and meals. The cocktails and first course were presented simultaneously, my wife's cocktail without ice, which came about fifteen minutes later. I must say my green bean salad was excellent as were the escargots that followed. It seemed the servers were more interested in being admired for their abbreviated dresses than serving skills. If this place had no view, it would be a lot less attractive.

Yelp
I don't eat donuts, but if I did it would be a devils food with nuts. I don't live in Paris, but if I did I would stop in for a drink at Georges but go elsewhere for dinner. There is no denying the fact that both the food and the view here are amazing. But the service is a major shortcoming. When you drop 400 Euro for dinner one might expect that with your steak, you would be presented with a steak knife. Ok, so maybe they forgot? But when our friend noticed that I was shaking the entire table trying to cut through my steak with a butter knife he then says to me. "Would you like for me ask that they bring you a steak knife?" I took him up on his offer and after several minutes of trying to get a servers attention. One finally came over, the server then looks down and says "but the steak is so tender, it does not require a steak knife" I seriously thought he was kidding. But he wasn't, and just simply walked away. The entire evening was spent trying to get the staffs attention. Our bottle of white and red wine both ran dry, and still not a single server acknowledge us. One may dismiss and say that it was because we didn't speak French. Well, two people at our table were fluent and the staff did speak English. Paris is full of wonderful restaurants, some of the best in the world in fact. Do not waste your time by coming here.

Yelp
Two people recommended this place to me - I am sorry, but did the view of the city cloud their taste buds? The food here was OKAY nothing to marvel at....I was definitely not impressed. The only thing I liked about this place was their Mango Tapioca dessert which cost 5 x more than what Whatever Cafe charges and smaller too! This place is just pretty, but I ate at better French restaurants in the States!

Yelp
On the top of the Pompidou Museum, this place has so much going for it. Spectacular views, an international clientele out for fun, food that's well above average for an expensive tourist spot, and a wait staff that could double as models for Vogue. So why ruin the experience by doing stereotypical scam things that target visitors who are less experienced with local customs? They up-sell silly things like overpriced bottled waters, and then they claim that service is not included in the bill (it is, by law) and ask that you pay an additional 20% tip. It's rather pathetic and shameful behavior by the staff, who are paid a decent living wage according to local laws. Is there some directive by restaurant management to act this way? The Museum should not allow such practices on its premises. It creates a bad feeling about the Pompidou as a whole. We had a fabulous night despite the staff's bad behavior, but I recommend avoiding this restaurant until it changes its ways.
