If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Our first time and it was outstanding. Excellent service, great food and generous portions. So happy we stopped in. We will definitely be back soon.

Went here for breakfast twice during our vacation in Cape May. Just. Oh my goodness. Their tiramisu waffle is delicious, but the limoncello french toast really won my heart (and stomach). My husband's banana french toast was also delicious (not that I stole any...), and how could I not take a picture with that cinnamon art? We went for dinner once as well, and uh. The prices are a bit more than their breakfast or lunch menus, but worth it! The chicken souvlaki came with lemon potatoes, which I frankly thought didn't sound particularly good. So. Wrong. I would go back just for a big platter of lemony potatoey goodness. We are now life-long fans of George's Place!

Good food, service is a tad slow. The HVAC vents are nonstop blowing and it adds to the noise level.

As a native to the Cape May County area, now living out of state but I frequently travel back to visit family, George’s Place-West is our go-to spot. The service is great and food is exceptional! My favorite is the Crab Cake Benedict (picture attached)! Keep up the excellent work! Looking forward to next time!

I visited this place a Sunday morning, as a perfect moment for a good breakfast with family members. We were 4 in total. The food and coffee were good, the atmosphere nice and the place looks nice. The service was also good, but too many tables for 2 employees. A little bit of waiting given the circumstances, but nothing crazy. Outdoor space is available but it was raining that day. In conclusion, I recommend the place.

Held our wedding celebration there on 9/9/23. Everything was set up beautifully, the food and service were excellent! Thanks so much Heather for making our night extraordinary!! Highly recommend!!

I ordered a turkey and brie cheese toasted sandwich. Brie cheese nicely melted, but tomato slice served without the core removed ? Two slices of Greek turkey, which suspiciously looked like ham, maybe an eight of an inch thick. Topped with bacon, and greens with dressing, but little meat which provides a savory and satisfying mouth feel that leaves one's soul satiated. Humans are carnivores. We crave meat, red fleshed meat. If I wanted hummus and pita, I would have ordered that. No turkey flavor, no meat flavor, where's the beef as Clara peller would exclaim! Sandwich was under whelming on today's visit. French fries were luke warm and mediocre. Greek salad has a too strong vinegar based dressing that is hard on the digestion.

Placed take out order for two breakfast. My first visit to this location. I have gone to the Cape May location many times. This new location is convenient for me. Ordered the Lemoncello French Toast - could have been fluffier. Lovely Lemoncello yogurt with plump juicy fresh blueberries! The other meal was the Salmon Scramble. Scrambled eggs with lox, Capers, complete with bagel and cream cheese. Great service!

I went here in late September 2026 with my friend. I love these kinds of Antique Mall places. They are filled with nostalgia, memories, and ghosts of the past. I thought the prices were outrageous on almost everything to be honest. My friend warned me about that before we went I know the various vendors set their own prices, etc. this is in beautiful Cape May so high prices are to be expected. I did purchase a beautiful piece that was a plate style decoration with probably the most gorgeous abalone I had ever seen! Vivid pinks, greens, blues and purples it was lovely and I felt the price was very good. When I went to the counter to pay one of the ladies asked me "what are you going to DO with that- hang it on a wall?" That kind of triggered me. I said "Not every single thing we buy HAS to have a practical purpose- we CAN buy things because we admire and enjoy them!" She was speechless. It was almost like asking me "what are you going to DO with a piece of art." I enjoyed this place and would go back. It is aesthetically beautiful!

Love George's place! Whenever we're in town I love to stop by here for lunch or breakfast. The havarti panini is my all time favorite and my boyfriend likes getting their Greek street wrap. I love that they give you fries and a salad with your lunch. The salad is super refreshing and the fries are very unique and tasty. This location has good seating options both indoor and outdoors and the service is always great. 100% a great option for breakfast or lunch. Need to make it in for dinner sometime! I'm sure it's just as great.

We like this location for breakfast. The staff are friendly and the food comes out quickly. The menu is extensive. I like the basics- eggs, omelette, etc. it's also great because it's a bit away from cape may so not super busy even in the summer!

We are newer to the area and decided to stop by for lunch today. What a gem! Attentive, friendly service and delicious food. We will definitely return!

Great food! Healthy choices. George's quality is very consistent at all its locations. This one has a side parking lot and indoor/outdoor seating. We'll be back!

Delicious dinner. We started with a falafel crostini which were loaded with toppings. The chicken and lamb gyros were stuffed full. Fries were very interesting, a cross between a fry and a chip. We loved them. My daughter got the salmon salad. We gobbled it right up as soon as it got to the table so no pictures. They had a cute outside area as well as plenty of seats inside. The waitress was very nice and attentive.

Sleeper! After all these years, how did I not just drive over from Wildwood to expand my horizons?! We ordered takeout for breakfast. Everything was tasty and more than enough. Besides take out there is seating both inside and out. The next time I am down in the area, I plan to have dinner. Please write your reviews too!

George's place is a good place , I find breakfast and lunch is reasonable in price with good quantity. Dinner is a bit high in price buy the food is spot on Portion is really good I don't like ala carte or extras prices on bread with a meal. The place both in Cape May &Cape may courthouse fill the void in where to go for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is what it is if your on budget i would not attempt it as it's a limited menu with few choices. The choice is yours. They deliver food satisfaction and quality

George's place is off the beaten path in the villas and is very delicious! I'm glad I found this place on Google and gave it a shot! The food is so delicious and authentic to the Greek/Mediterranean vibe. The place is adorable yet small and the people who work there are clearly working at full speed. There are great menu options for dinner and no uncorking fee for dinner which I found surprising for a BYOB. The food as delicious yet there is a reason I had to take a star. The branzino was flavorful but served whole. When served I was asked if I wanted it filed which seemed odd after already being out on the table. The short ribs were said to be paired with potatoes but then served with potato chips. Small things but just interesting. Overall a great meal with great service!

So yesterday, I ordered take out from George's on route 47. I googled George's and hit "order pick up". 79.00 Got a message that the order went through. Went to pick up and was told they are not accepting take out orders. What? Checked with my bank and I was charged. I've been on message with the owner to no resolve. Said I need to resolve it with a third party platform. Like GrubHub which I have never used. This is deceitful. Why would you allow take out orders on line if you refuse to fulfill them?

Went there last night for dinner. Staff is wonderful. I got the most amazing crabcakes all of the great price and the owner is not hard to look at lol

Great service and delicious food. I had the turkey sausage and the Tiramisu waffle which was out of this world delicious! Little bit difficult to find but was grateful to myself that I took the time to turn around. Wish I lived closer.

I can't believe I haven't written about this place. It is very good. First it is clean and bright. Second the servers are attentive and upbeat. Third and most of all the food is DELICIOUS! I love the Kojack, an omelette consisting of feta cheese, Kalamata olives and red pepper. Yum, my favorite. The French toast and the pancakes are also very good per my friends. The menu has something for everyone. Try this place , I don't think you will be disappointed.

We had been to another location in the past and were excited to try this location. It did not disappoint. We went for lunch. I had the gyro pita. It's a huge gyro stuffed with meat, lettuce, onion, and diced tomatoes with a ton of tzatziki sauce. That alone is worthwhile and absolutely delicious. It came with a large side salad filled with quality ingredients that was also very tasty. The fries are fabulous - different than you get anywhere else in a good way with delicious seasoning. It's a huge amount of food, and I ate all of it. That meal is the best value I've had in the Cape May area. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Ordered my food, as I do every single weekend. They refused to put cheddar on a breakfast sandwich even though they do it every other weekend. They did not put ANY hollandaise on our eggs Benedict. When I called to tell them that they messed up (for a second week in a row), the manager insinuated that I was lying to him? Until 2 weeks ago, this was the best breakfast place in the area. We gave them a full pass on the first weekend because they seemed to have someone new taking orders. This time, I'm done with this place. Only order from here if you're satisfied getting a $16 crab eggs Benedict without hollandaise (and then being accused of lying while you look at your pathetic, incorrect breakfast).

Great meals and service everytime, love the freshness and consistency. Happy to have a new spot closer to me than Cape may in Rio Grande.

Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere! Small place but nicely laid out and decorated. I work within walking distance so I get take out a lot from there. I've tried about half the breakfast menu and just about everything on the lunch menu. Would highly recommend the Havarti Panini. The fries are amazing and very unique. Definitely a great place to try that's in close proximity to downtown Rio Grande.

Super great veggie wrap. Go for breakfast. It is the best in Rio. The interior is beautiful!!!

Food is always good - at every location so far. The smoked salmon bagel entrees is loaded and delicious. Herb and Brie omelette taste so fresh. Latte was perfect. We'll be back.

A nice local spot. We are fans of the other Kara restaurants and we wanted to give this place a try...it did not disappoint! We stopped in for breakfast. Enjoyed an omlet (nicely cooked), breakfast burrito and the combo with egg, meat, and French toast. Going forward, this place is definitely on our radar. We may stop in for dinner as well.

Really good! Stopped Here after aviation museum. One of our best meals of the week.
