Definitely not worth it. Staff are very stand back and do not greet customers. And the cupcake was the worst I have ever had. Glad I only got 1. The frosting was great. But the cupcake crumbled immediately when removing from the box. Cupcake was so dry. Do not waste your money... or your time. Not worth the price or the calories.

I ordered a dozen for a corporate meeting to surprise one of my colleagues for her birthday and was humiliated that the cupcakes were delivered not only late but also a total mess (see pic). I let the store know and sent a pic and they responded that they use a 3rd party delivery service and it’s out of their control. They offered to deliver again the next day and I accepted that offer but then never heard from them again. Very disappointed. I am a long time fan of the original store from my years living in DC and this one pales in comparison.

Google
Delicious experience!!😍 … although I was hoping to find more flavors and more of the season we are in 🎃 🍂. (Here⬇️ Red Velvet, Key Lime, CoffeeToffe Cheesecake and Salted Caramel🤤🤤🤤)

Google
This place’s deserves a negative star if there’s anything like that! They ruined my daughter’s 1st birthday and tried to offer me a gift card as an excuse. The server at this location is absolutely useless and doesn’t know what she’s supposed to do. I gave the gift card to another lady in the store. After being a loyal customer since 2018, I will not return here again. ******update****** The manager called and tried to offer me another gift card or more cupcakes and I appreciate the gesture but my daughters 1st birthday was ruined so absolutely no going back!

Google
Sunday Cravings, I wish I can eat the whole flavors 😍😍, but I behave 😁👏🏻🤤🤤. Highly recommend, the best cupcakes in the town. My Faves: lime, coconut and strawberry. The only reason I give them 4 ⭐️ is because they do not accept Apple Pay and I think that’s important nowadays, one person was really struggling to pay because he did not have his card on hand , I witnessed all the crazy steps he had to do to pay ( call his bank etc) paying should be a pleasure experience as the cupcakes they have 🤷🏼‍♀️

Google
I absolutely love this shop! Cupcakes are always amazing. Here lately they've been slipping. Last doezen I ordered, did not come as pictured...flavors were subbed and I wasn't notified. This time for my BIRTHDAY, since I couldn't get to the beach I ordered the beach dozen. Well same thing yet again. Flavors not listed in the description were in my box, NONE of the decorations were right. I'm very close to not returning as a customer....publix is closer to me.

Google
This was pleasantly Disappointing cupcakes 😏 I order from Uber. I didn't read the reviews until after they arrived. I wish I had because the cake was dry, and the frosting was less desirable. My lO didn't like the vanilla, and I ordered two different flavors. Neither one did the trick. I wasted $30 but at least we had the opportunity to try something new. Best of luck and I really hope the flavors get better. It has a lot of great potential.

Google
Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. I went in the store to place an order for cupcakes for my bridal shower two days in advance. I was interested in something custom since they didn't offer anything bridal-ish online. Staff was uninterested in helping me. One girl handed me the sheet and told me I could only order items from the list, nothing customized. I should've left at that point, but I ordered 18 cupcakes and a cupcake stand anyways. On Saturday, they said they ran out of buttercream and did not make half of the selections I had chosen. I had to choose between whatever they had. The cupcake stand had black ribbon, not white and was so embarrassingly cheap, I threw it away. It was not the one they advertise in the store. The cupcakes themselves were good, but not worth $70. I will never shop here again and will warn all my friends from doing so as well.

Yelp
Georgetown Cupcake is a women-owned bakery featuring cupcakes, coffee/espresso, and tea (Georgetown Cupcake serves Mighty Leaf Tea). Georgetown Cupcake was founded in Washington D.C. and also has a Bethesda, MD location. The Buckhead bakery is cozy, light, and airy. Customer service was excellent. My husband and I ordered a half-dozen cupcakes, including Salted Caramel, Key Lime, Peanut Butter Fudge, Vanilla Butterfly Surprise, Marble Brownie Fudge Cheesecake, and Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip The cakes are beautifully presented. I appreciate the cupcake frosting being creamy and not being overly sweet. The cupcakes were moist but the batter has more of a muffin consistency. Overall I am looking for a little more flavor. For instance, I was looking for more tart lime flavor in the Key Lime cupcake. While I found the cupcakes good, there are other bakeries I would recommend over Georgetown Cupcake.

Angie M.

Yelp
CAKE IT EASY! A beautiful cupcake shop located in downtown Buckhead. This business got its start in Washington DC. We came in while walking around Buckhead and picked up two cupcakes. Coconut was light and fluffy, but not overly sweet either. Raspberry lemonade was also delicious. You could taste both the lemon and the raspberry flavor. Most times I've had a cupcake with a flavor like this and you can only taste one of the flavors but not both. Lemon is an acidic flavor and can overpower. Service was fast and easy, though they do not take Apple Pay. So make sure you have your card with you when coming inside. Would come back for sure! Delicious cupcakes, lots to choose from too.

Tony L.

Yelp
I've been scarred by other cupcake places, but Georgetown Cupcake always does me right. This particular branch has a beautiful interior with high ceilings and the light filters into the beautiful space making you feel bigger than life. I got three cupcakes and each were better than the first -- egg nog, candy cane cheesecake, and another seasonal one I can't remember. Cupcake spots usually can only do good cake or good frosting, but Georgetown has perfected both without making it feel too dense or cloyingly sweet.

Natasha L.

Yelp
Cupcakes are a love language and Georgetown Cupcakes is speaking to me! If you're seeking a quick delicious sweet treat stop in and try! There are bunches of flavors and I'm not a huge fan of icing but theirs is delicious, it was a good balance! Cream cheese icing on the red velvet and the key lime were Devine! My fiancé got the chocolate cheese cake one and loved it. Every bite was worth it. Give it a try!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
I have only been to the original Georgetown cupcake before this visit. It is definitely superior from quality and service perspectives. My favorite cupcake is salted caramel but these tasted mildly stale. The service was weird. The worker stood at least 15 feet away from the shielded counter to take my order, had a flat affect and I had to wait for her to come back to ask for a bag as I was shopping in the area. (She immediately walked away after handing me the box.) I'll save my visits for when I am in the DC area.

Gracen C.

Yelp
Was very clean inside which was nice, however had a somewhat unwelcoming vibe. The cupcakes were aesthetically beautiful, but not tasty. There is too many great dessert places to go here. I won't be back I just wanted to give it a try. They had more of a muffin texture and really just didn't like the icing either. The staff member was kind, only one person working though and not many customers at all. Can see why just not tasty or worth the 4$ per one. Coffee was watery but cheap so can't really complain there

Kevin S.

Yelp
Customer service here is pathetic. We walked in and the lady working didn't say a single word. Just stared at us like we were aliens. This place is eerily quiet too, like, I've been to libraries that are louder than this place. We decided to eat our dry cupcakes in the place, also a big mistake. Felt guilty talking or laughing. Save your money. Eat the gravel outside.

Enna J.

Yelp
I probably would've usually scored it a 4 since they were out of caramel anything coffee related (which was one of my favorites) BUT the cashier was so warm, friendly and funny it made it ok. We opted for mocha lattes and frappes, which were just as yummy. The cupcakes are delicious as well.

J T.

Yelp
Best cupcakes in atl... HANDS DOWN!!! Absolutely love this place.. my fav is the red velvet!!

Goku D.

Yelp
Takayla Jean Stewart deserves a raise. Absolutely magnificent customer service accompanied by exquisite cupcakes and coffee.

Stacey L.

Yelp
Don't count on them. Ordered cupcakes for delivery via their UberEats link more than a full day in advance. They cancelled the order 30 minutes before delivery. Birthday treat for my college kid hours away from me. Don't offer online ordering/ delivery if you can't fulfill them. No one orders a dozen cupcakes unless it's for a special occasion. Terrible that a cupcake store can't at least notify you when you place the order that they can't fulfill a cupcake order! No call, no notice, not answering the phone.

Aushiana R.

Yelp
Very cute store. Got cupcakes here for my kids birthday. When I stepped into the store , i felt very rushed and it wasn't even near closing time. Good cupcakes

Jenna B.

Yelp
I watch the TV show on the business and the two sisters who own all of the different locations. Knowing we were heading to Georgia where there is a location, I made sure that we put it on our list of places to go. We went yesterday and the location we visited in Buckhead was pretty much deserted. There was only one employee. We asked what she recommended and she told us any of the cheesecakes that were in the front left. Honestly I was not impressed. I feel like there was a lot more hype visiting this location; but definitely was not what I was expecting. We got a half dozen. Two peanut butter fudge, chocolate2, birthday sprinkles, mocha toffee cheesecake & chocolate vanilla. Out of my entire family no one liked the entire cupcake. They either liked the frosting or they liked the actual cake. If I were to ever visit the home location of this business I would definitely go back, but this particular location was not impressive whatsoever.

Isamar B.

Yelp
Loved their cupcakes At their New York store however this place was dead and had only 3 flavors available I got a strawberry cupcake and baby vanilla and they tasted nothing like the ones in New York. They had no red velvet and georgetown us known for red velvet cupcakes ! Definetly order shipping or go to any another location

Carmen H.

Yelp
So I've been to this location quite a few times and each time I have really hoped to get the cupcakes from the show and in Dc they once had. Sadly I was disappointed yet again. I purchased a dozen cupcakes ranging from lemon to caramel. I think there has been a recipe change or these were some really stale cupcakes. Let me just say for those of us who live in the south, we know what sweet cornbread taste like. These cupcakes tastes just like sweet cornbread with icing. The icing was decent but I could tell these were probably prepared a week or so ago or even frozen. Oh well, this was the last try for me especially after requesting napkins and the place was totally out.

Paulina A.

Yelp
The cupcakes are good but too small in size for the $3.75 cost per cupcake. I had the chocolate birthday cupcake and lemon blossom. Presentation was good and I really enjoyed the icing on the lemon blossom. The glass dividers were very foggy and smeared so it was hard to see the cupcakes available. The store could use some music playing for better ambiance. They only allow one party/ individual in the store at a time.

Rachel W.

Yelp
I have a sweet toothe problem that I have no plans to fix. With that said I eat a lot of cupcakes. Georgetown is one of the great cupcake shop selections in Buckhead. They have a nice selection of flavors and their cupcakes have a good bread to icing ratio....however, there is admittedly no such thing as too much icing to me. This time around I got a unicorn cupcake which was essentially a vanilla cake with sprinkles, indigo colored icing, and a fun fondant unicorn on top. It was light sugary-ness to it that I liked. Just yum.

Kate S.

Yelp
The cupcakes are good but the service and delivery were horrible. I ordered a dozen to be delivered for a colleagues birthday and as a surprise. They were delivered late and arrived a mess (see pic). It was embarrassing. I told the store and sent the pic and they offered to redeliver the next day but when I accepted that, they never responded again. I've been going to Georgetown Cupcake since I lived in DC and used to visit the original. Very disappointed in the service at this location.

Erin J.

Yelp
Imagine my delight when I realized there was a Georgetown cupcake nearby! I travel weekly for work and try my hardest, if time permits, to try a local cupcake bakery. I know Georgetown isn't local to Atlanta, but they are some of my favorite cupcakes ever! This time I got an Oreo cheesecake - and I honestly think it's some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. Also, their chocolate peanut butter is my favorite. The vanilla birthday cake was fine - nothing to get excited about, but the chocolate hazelnut was tasty. Service was so fast in this one, nothing compared to the one in Georgetown!

Shanell T.

Yelp
The only reason this place is getting 1 star is because 0 stars was not an option. I think it's rude to not welcome your customers in to the store and completely ignore them. The cashier paid more attention to her child then the customer's. She never even spoke. Listen,If you don't want to come to work stay home . The one thing that sets business's apart is the customer service that they receive. Don't waist your time or money here ... they obviously don't want it.

Liz H.

Yelp
Normally, precovid, I would have given them 5 out of 5. The cupcakes were fluffy and flavorful. This time, I got a half dozen cupcakes as a walk-in customer, and the cupcakes tasted old like maybe they were made the day or two before. I thought there was something not as good as I remembered. They are expensive cupcakes. I was a little disappointed but don't get me wrong, all 6 were eaten by our family.

Laura Z.

Yelp
TLDR: Cute cupcakes on the sweet side I used to follow the show about the founders obsessively. I loved watching the cupcake challenges and the cupcake bakers pipe the signature swirl. I recently tried this place for the first time and their cupcakes are good! They look adorable in the pink box and with the simple but elegant decoration on top. It is on the sweeter side so be warned. The actual cake is nice and moist.

Florinda C.

Yelp
You'll see my initial review below. I tried to call them today, but no one answered so I thought I'd try again tomorrow. Just found out they delivered the correct order today! Thank you for going above and beyond to make it right. I updated the review to 5 stars. *************** Initially gave them 1 star, review posted yesterday. Placed an order 3 days ago for delivery today. It was delivered today. I ordered the custom dozen because the people I ordered it for have specific tastes. The store decided to deliver the "Mother's Day" package instead (without letting me know) . Half of the order wasn't eaten because of the flavors. This is the second time my order was screwed up (first time was a shipping order). Why bother letting your customers think they can place a custom order? These cupcakes are way too expensive for bad service. No, thank you. I will not be ordering from you again.

Pey L.

Yelp
We used to get cupcakes here all the time in the past. The cupcakes were delicious, super cute, great service and the box is adorable. However, the last time we tried their cupcakes (about a year ago), we were disappointed with the taste and the service. The cupcakes were dry. We decided to give it one more try, thinking it may have been a one off situation. We ordered cupcakes for delivery on Mother's Day (today) between 11 AM and 1 PM. It is now past 2 PM and the cupcakes haven't been delivered yet. There has been zero communication on the delay and no one in answering the phone at the store. At this point, we don't even want the cupcakes and can't even cancel the order. What a disappointment! UPDATE: DO NOT order from here. We still haven't received our cupcakes or gotten any communication about it. They basically took our money and ran.

Kellie N.

Yelp
Beautiful cupcakes! I like that they have different flavors of the month. Great staff, great location, easy ordering, and good prices .

LaShawn W.

Yelp
Cupcakes were stale! Such a cute place but I could not believe they were not fresh! I will try again but hopefully they are made fresh!

Trang N.

Yelp
Don't waste your time coming here!! Customer service and cupcakes are so dry!! The only worker that was there acted like we were a bother. Never again!!

Chau P.

Yelp
I made a dozen cupcake order for my friend's birthday. This is what we got! It's super disappointing!

Giselle B.

Yelp
Worst cupcake experience ever! I can see by the lack of response from management or the owners to all of these horrible comments, that they could care less. Man, I wish I had read these comments before I wasted my money! Everything they say is true! You're not greeted a super dry, and the top is hard. Also, the paper stuck to the cupcake. I'm calling to try to get my money back because this is just the worst thing ever!

Sarah-Bradley D.

Yelp
As a former Georgetown, DC resident I was slightly surprised and disappointed to see how this location ran. I walked in during lunchtime to an empty store and was not greeted by staff. I went over to view the flavors while the staff member hung at least ten feet back in the kitchen with her arms crossed rather than asking if I needed any help. Another staff member was walking around with headphones on so didn't even hear me when I asked her a question. While the cupcakes were good I'm giving three stars because the service seriously leaves something to be desired. Pro tip though* happy to see this is also a thing down here, they have a secret flavor of the day that they announce on twitter and if you tell them you get one for free (while supplies last). Today's was milk chocolate rainbow and oh so yummy.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
My first time having Georgetown cupcake. I was excited to try them as I follow them on Instagram and they always look so delicious. I asked the lady what was a popular cupcake, she proceeded to tell me every single one of the cupcakes, what a fail. I was debating on peanut butter fudge or strawberry lemonade. Since I always lean towards the chocolate, I tried something lighter. I asked if the strawberry cupcake have strawberries in it. She said yes. The icing was good, the cake was so so, not as moist as I would like and I could've baked a better cake. Anyways, I would've given this place another try but I only had 2 days to eat my way through Atlanta.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
This is my second time visiting this location. I didn't like it the first visit and the only reason I came a second time is because I didn't realize I was going to the same place. I saw one of their cupcakes on Instagram and was interested in trying. It wasn't until my gps got me closer to the location that I was like "Omg not this place". I was so mad at myself for coming back. Since I drove far, I decided to give them another try. They were terrible. If you are a cake/cupcake person, this is not for you. The cakes are NOT moist at all. They are so dry, it's really a shame. This was my complaint the first time I went. The staff were not knowledgeable or welcoming. They were very standoffish and didn't have answers to some of my questions. Smh. I won't be back. Also, you're paying for their expensive location because they are not cheap. Cupcakes look cute, but It is not worth it.

Ikraam O.

Yelp
There was a review on here that said it tastes like sweet corn bread and she's right. These cupcakes don't do it for me. It's very boring. The cupcake itself feels very sturdy, not light and airy. The frosting isn't really yummy. They aren't bad cupcakes, they're just....not really good. They're beautifully made and packaged well and they do smell good. I can see other people liking it so I'm just going to say it's a personal preference thing. I had a sweet tooth and wanted to share these with my friends and they said they were "ok" and had seconds, so there ya go

Kyle G.

Yelp
If you've never heard of Georgetown Cupcake, do yourself a favor and make a pitstop, you won't regret it. They have a large selection of cupcakes for so many different tastes. They can be a bit pricey ($3.50/cupcake or $19/half dozen) but they are absolutely worth it. The cake is always moist and the icing is not overly sweet. If you like fondant, they have several cupcakes with that. I recommend the chocolate ganache!

Trice B.

Yelp
I'm always excited to come here. Any city that has a GC bakery, I'll make an effort to visit. The cupcakes are consistently delicious. Moist cake, with a nice sized portion of frosting. There are a few added flavors every month to keep things fresh. Not that that matters to me, because I always get the chocolate ganache with a vanilla birthday cake cupcake thrown in for a taste of variety. The design of the bakery is uncluttered, modern and clean. Very white with simple adornments. It's always fun to see the Swarovski encrusted Kitchenaid mixers at some locations. My only regret is that I can't stop by more often.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Masks are required for customers only? Lights were off when I entered around 6:30pm (they close at 7pm). I didn't see my order on the table, so I asked for clarification. The nonmask wearing employee said she didn't have any orders. When I showed her my receipt, she then "found" my order. She said they were out of a few flavors and had to build my order there. Why she didn't call the number on the order is beyond me...

Roderick W.

Yelp
I was really wanting to like this place. However, after visiting today, I see that this isn't going to be the case. We went in after dining at Capital Grille, and didn't even get greeted by the lady inside. We looked around for a few but still, no hello or anything. She didn't even come up front to see if we needed anything or had any questions. I'm not a genius, but I can pretty much assure you that ignoring customers will definitely cause your business to close down as quickly as it opened up. It doesn't matter if it's Buckhead or Bankhead, this was terrible customer service and very unacceptable.

Iryna P.

Yelp
Such a pretty place and their cupcakes are so cute. I've been watching the two sisters on TV for as long as they had their show. So when I was in Atlanta, I had to stop by and check them out. I love cupcakes, so I ended up getting a few different flavors and they did not disappoint. Love their cute decorations on cupcakes too.

LaShonda H.

Yelp
Let me tell you how to get your life in a few simple steps. 1. Go to Georgetown Cupcakes in Buckhead 2. Go before 4pm or mid day on a weekday so you can avoid a line 3. Get 2 Salted Caramel cupcakes for $7 4. Go buy some Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream 5. Combine items from step 3 & 4 GET YOUR LIFFFEEE!!!!!!!! The best, hands down, most moist, savory morsels EVER!! Plus they're small that's why you have to get 2. Thank me later

Alan W.

Yelp
Ordered 12 cupcakes to be delivered on Mother's Day between 11am-1pm. Cupcakes never showed and zero communication. Can't be any worse than that.

Agatha H.

Yelp
Had to try the Coconut cupcake. Classic coconut cupcake with a vanilla cream cheese frosting capped with a cloud of shredded coconut. I have tried many coconut cupcakes but this one hands down is the most delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that the cake had coconut flavor. Nicely done.

Lorraine I.

Yelp
friendly cupcake is soooooooo delicious. Must have it. Store is clean right around the corner.

Tuong Vi P.

Yelp
Okay, I can now give this place 4 (rather than 3 stars). During my first visit, I got a cheesecake cupcake of some sort and pretty much hated it. That's saying a ton, since I have a huge sweet tooth and I haven't gotten tired of eating cupcakes yet. AT and I stopped by before lunch at nearby Storico Fresco, since the pasta shop didn't serve lunch till 11:30 am and we had arrived at 11 am with temperatures in the 30s. Not fun, even for this Connecticut native. So the natural thing was to go get a cupcake to get our appetites going. Well, mine and little AT's. We shared the peanut butter fudge cupcake this time around and big AT got a café au lait. All 3 were happy. The chocolate cupcake had a dollop of fudge in the center, which happily surprised the little one and me! The peanut butter frosting was perfectly sweet (meaning not too much so) and silky smooth. I usually don't love frosting but would've welcomed just a bit more and I think little AT shared my sentiments. There are some tables and chairs inside, and while I have stayed to eat my cupcakes (and tea during the first visit), I actually don't sense that the business wants people to stay... There isn't the same atmosphere as a cozy coffee shop, but I guess that isn't what Georgetown Cupcakes is. There are teas and coffees for purchase and if you want a box to take your cupcake(s), the cost is $0.50. I guess it's sort of a green way of doing things?

Raisha S.

Yelp
First time trying Georgetown Cupcake and I must say, they DO live up to its hype! The frosting to cake ratio is perfect. It's super light, fluffy, and flavorful. Doesn't have that overly sweet, fake sugary taste that most tend to have. The cake is moist, not crumbly, and pulls away from the wrapper with ease. They are simple cupcakes, done right with amazing flavor. My favorites: * Salted caramel chocolate chip * Double milk chocolate birthday * Lavender earl grey tea cake * White chocolate raspberry * Red velvet * Coffee cookies n cream Bonus - If you follow their twitter, they will direct you where you can find the cupcake featured flavor of the day. If you mention the flavor, you get a free cupcake! $3.50/cupcake. $19/half-dozen and $36/dozen. I thought the prices could've been a little inexpensive although that doesn't stop me from going in again! Also, consider yourself lucky if you get a street parking spot or else there's a parking garage right around the corner which is paid by the hour (or get validated by one of these shops). The design of the bakery is uncluttered, modern and clean. Very white with simple adornments. Sweet and smiling employees make your stop in this boutique an amazing experience for sure!

Sam T.

Yelp
Living in DC for almost 9 years, I am very familiar with Georgetown cupcakes as I used to frequent the main shop in Georgetown and another location in Bethesda, Maryland. Even before going Plant Based/Vegan, I used to get vegan cupcakes from those locations. I was expecting the same choices here but was shocked they had none on hand even though they had various flavors to choose from. The service at this location was unacceptable. We walked in and the two employees working continued to sit down on their phones, no how are you, nothing. The only words spoken were thank you at the end. After we left, my wife and I were like were they both mutes? What a hot mess! This Georgetown Cupcake looks closed every time you go by it and I see why now. The cupcakes were smaller than the DC/MD locations and the layout of the shop is dark and dreary. This place is not the Georgetown Cupcake I am accustomed and with no vegan options (unless you specially order them) this place is a total waste! We won't be returning.

Amanda B.

Yelp
I've only had them in Boston so I was so excited to fine a Georgetown in the south! They have a perfect frosting to cupcake ratio and everything tastes so rich. This is one of my favorite cupcake places and it's good every time and apparently any state that I go to!

Karen S.

Yelp
My co-workers and I have probably tried 100+ cupcakes (sometimes the same) here solely because they rotate the free ones daily, and we've been in this office space for going on 3 years. They come out with some crazy flavors. If you want to sort by icing, cupcakes come in two forms: high fluffy frosting (probably a type of buttercream) and ganache (flat, dense chocolate layer). They have a good frosting to cake ratio, but even then I don't normally finish the frosting. I never finish the fondant topping. My favorites include: * Anything cheesecake (at this point, it's just an adorable, Instagram worthy cheesecake and not even a cupcake, but it's honestly the best pairing, there's actual Graham cracker crust) * Earl grey lavender cupcake (lightly scented) * Chocolate dipped * Apple caramel * Lemon lime (slightly tart) There's a few parallel parking spots in front. If you don't want to deal with it, you can brave the parking deck (validated 2 hours), but you have to dodge the super fast valet drivers from capital grille, the huge concrete pillars, and the tight spacing overall. But hey, the cupcake almost evens out considering you would've had to pay $3 for parking Or you can do what I do. 100 free secret flavor cupcakes available daily. Go to fridge cam on http://www.tlc.com/tv-shows/dc-cupcakes/cupcake-cam/. If it's a weekday, you'll need to go early afternoon to avoid the office workers (me) and kids (Atlanta international School).

Yelp
Hi, I had ordered my baby shower cupcakes and ordered at least 15 days prior to the event, yet cupcakes were missing, flavors were missing and of course there was no baby shower design I had - Visited the store prior to placing the order and was confirmed the online steps to order and all my cupcakes would look exactly the same with bunny and baby girl fondant. - After placing the order I called the store to confirm if they have received my order and understood my order - I also called 2 days prior to my order to confirm if vegan cupcakes will be made as per the order as in the past, the vegan cupcakes were missing even after the order was placed in advance The day I got my order after driving 1 hr to the store ONE Way and once reached home, - 6 cupcakes were missing - There was no fondant on any cupcakes - 2 different flavors of Chocolate square and Chocolate birthday were missing These cupcakes were of no use for my baby shower which I had hoped for. I had to discard all the cupcakes and had to buy cupcakes on urgent basis and pay a wholesome amount. What kind of ridiculous service is this. There was nobody present at the counter to talk to re-verify my order. I was waiting for 15min but nobody stepped out or responded. This is not the first time, in the past also we have had issues. Why is the service so bad and why was placed in dark for my own baby shower :(

Yelp
Georgetown Cupcake automatically earns a few stars since I popped in a mere 5 minutes before closing, and the woman working the counter didn't give me the stink eye. Sorry lady! She even asked if I wanted the cupcake "for here." I declined but that was nice. Though she might have given me the stink eye then if I expressed a desire to stay. A friend had been raving about this cupcakery for a couple of months, so I was ecstatic to be able to go and try something. Lots of choices, but I went with the chocolate ganache which came highly recommended by said friend. Here's the description from the Georgetown Cupcake website: "Valrhona chocolate cupcake with a thin layer of Callebaut chocolate ganache icing topped with a fondant flower or other seasonal decoration in assorted colors." The cupcake plus tax was $3.54. The cost was a little high for the size of the cupcake. At least my complaints were soothed by the fact that the cupcake was pretty good. It's always a plus when cupcakes aren't dry and hard and not overly sugary. The richness of the chocolate was fantastic. The cupcake was placed in a bag which didn't provide my protection in my purse. I parked in one of the garages nearby and got 3 hour validation at another establishment. The deck was very confusing, not to mention narrow. Don't give up on finding a space though; there are more floors below but good luck finding out how to access them. Pricing and parking grumbles aside, I'd be up for returning to Georgetown Cupcake if I found myself in this part of Buckhead again.
