Google
I ordered their panini's because my boss brought them onto his jet last time we were in town. He loved them so much he asked to have them again this trip. The fillings are fresh and the spreads very flavourtful! The owner brought my order to my hotel for me so A+ for customer service!!!

Google
Picked up a panini and grabbed a tall boy from the little liquor store nextdoor then headed down to Georgetown Waterfront Park for a fabulous solo lunch. I was bummed to fine corned beef was not available so my dreams of a tasty Reuben would have to satisfied by the chicken caprese panini. The chicken is roasted in-house but was a little dry and lacked flavor. A little salt would have saved it. The ciabatta was excellent though. Super friendly staff.

Google
Quite possibly the best panini I’ve ever had. 🥪 For the Roast Beef Panini, it came down to the crispy, crunchy bread, which definitely tasted homemade. I debated getting another… The workers and owner were very nice and accommodating to the group I was with. My only suggestion is making “paninis” more prominent on the menu wall because it’s the first thing you see when you walk in.

Google
6:30 am on a Tuesday, and you expect a croissant that didn’t taste 3 days old. Barely edible. I know, just one grab and go on a business trip, but c’mon. If a pricier place like this in the nations capital airport can’t manage to sell a fresh baked good in the morning, what are they doing?

emily

Google
Lovely lunch! Great items with quality ingredients. Decent prices for DC area. Service was wonderful & kind; the restaurant was clean & decorated. Would come again!

Tess Anderson

Google
Paid $16 for a chicken caprese that had two thin slices of tomato and was definitely turkey. Asked for more tomato and was told no. Edit: Didn’t let me reply, but it was not the airport restaurant. It was this location

Google
No real fruit in the smoothie, watched them make it and it was just strawberry syrup and ice

Google
My friend ordered a sandwich with pesto and we asked if there were nuts in the pesto. He said there wasn't any, so she ordered it. She immediately had an allergic reaction and he said that the basil pesto didn't have nuts but the pesto she ordered had nuts. We had an itinerary to see DC all day and now we are going home so she can recover. Can't believe the server had the audacity to argue with us over an ALLERGY. Also, we asked for water to help soothe the allergy and we were charged for the water.

Yelp
I asked my friend to pick up food I ordered while in the hospital... The order was unfortunately wrong....and items that were meant to be cold, were warm and didn't seem fresh :-( Id still try again though as some items were lovely

Yelp
Great little location near Key Bridge in Georgetown. Very clean small location. Attracted by Porketta. Lots of choices but a bit greasy and undercooked for my liking. Strawberry salad with Porketta also somewhat spoiled by fat. Extra for % for credit card. No real parking options Friendly menu reception and lots choices but somewhat disappointed

Yelp
Solid cafe! Quick service, you can sit and eat in the AC, no frills little sandwich place. The caprese panini was good but the Reuben was excellent! A smaller Reuben with better proportions instead of an overstuffed deli style sandwich. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Fresh for sure but it lakes flavor. I got the pesto panini and the crunch was it but I taste like bread despite it having so many ingredients. And they put such little pesto so the sandwich is dry. Kinda pricy ngl. Wouldn't go out of my way to get this nor come back but it's okay to experience as the food look good but doesn't taste the part.

Yelp
Sandwich was a bit too greasy and fatty for me. Needed a sauce or something to lighten it up.

Yelp
I expected more options. This place has only bagels and sandwiches and not cheap. The coffee is not ever prepared for you but instead you get it yourself and pour it from the thermos in the corner. The food was just Ok.

Yelp
I always wanted to try this place as I see it going into work. After trying it, here is what I think. One of the worst banh mi I have ever had. The veggies were way too sour. The porchetta was too tough to chew. Nothing in this sandwich really complimented each other. The service was great, but the food can use a bit of help.

Yelp
Every sandwich was delicious and fresh. Ordered boxed lunch catering for a work event. Customer service was great as well. Would absolutely use them again!

Yelp
Great quick lunch option in Georgetown, and near the Georgetown University campus. I got myself a combo with a fusion panini and a primavera salad with smoked salmon ($15 for pickup through Grubhub). The panini was good and I liked the combination of flavors. The salad was good, but nothing to rave about. There were two slices/pieces of tomatoes and mozzarella. There's a few tables for indoor seating. The place itself was clean and the workers are nice.

Kayla R.

Yelp
Quick, fresh, and yummy. Lovely workers. Highly suggest if out walking around in Georgetown for a bite!

Michael M.

Yelp
$40 for a salad, a small wrap and two bottles of water. My "Mediterranean" salad was chopped in to baby sized bites with 90% iceberg lettuce. Which, it shouldn't have had any iceberg. The tomatoes were diced and I found three hard pieces in the chicken. Not a pleasant experience.

Yelp
This place has so many options and the food is healthy and hits the spot. It's a perfect lunch spot if you work in Arlington! Family owned and operated. Awesome service!!

Yelp
My family stopped in for some quick to-go food to eat in the car. We ordered a mix of Panini, Sandwiches and a Salad. Staff was very friendly and helpful and service was quick. Food was very tasty and fresh. Menu was a little confusingly laid out which made deciding what to eat odd and they didn't have a few ingredients listed such as Rye Bread. $14-15 per item which was a tad pricey.

Yelp
I had an event at Georgetown and wanted to grab a quick lunch before going over. This spot got good reviews and was right off campus. Perfect. I walked in and was immediately greeted. The menu on the wall includes all day lunch options, paninis, sandwiches, and salads. I was debating between a sandwich or bagel. I chose Breakfast at Tiffany's on an everything bagel (originally a wrap). I took a spot and enjoyed the cute vibes. The bagel arrived and looks amazing. The egg didn't have salt, but there are shakers on the table. The lox added a delicious balance to the egg, avocado, and tomato. It was quite enjoyable and I was satisfied well after lunch. Quick and cute spot. They also have Ritual if you use it!

Yelp
A perfect sandwich! I had the Italian salami panini. Took it down to the river and chowed down. After I ordered I was bummed I didn't see the board above the counter so I'll have to come back for one of the porchetta sandwiches.

Yelp
I went here for a late lunch on Saturday while no one else was in the shop. I was very hungry and ordered the California Panini and the Caprese Melt Panini. The good reviews had me excited, and looking through the menu I had a hard time deciding what I wanted because it all sounded so good. That excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The Caprese panini was 95% bread. As my picture shows, there was almost no mozzarella (I would generously estimate two inch by one inch, and very thin), and barely more than one thin slice of tomato. The whole panini was bread and pesto spread. I threw it away after a few bites. The California was slightly better, it at least had some toppings covering the whole piece of bread. But the avocado was as hard as a rock, and with about as much flavor. I was very bummed out. $25 for one half decent panini wasn't my idea of a good lunch.

Yelp
I was looking for a great sandwich shop in the Georgetown area and I found exactly what I was looking for at Georgetown Gourmet. The staff was extremely friendly and made it feel like the sandwich was made by a family member. They even gave me the WiFi password when they noticed I was doing some work on my laptop. The Napoli was delicious and I was even happier when my meal came with a side of chips. The ingredients were extremely fresh and the crisp of the bread made every bite extremely balanced. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great sandwich or panini in the Georgetown neighborhood.

Yelp
They have variety of vegetarian options. I had ordered a pasta and a salad. They are similar to Panera Bread for options and services. The service was really quick and the food was healthy.

Yelp
Needed a place to stop in around Georgetown to get some work done and this was the perfect spot! A bit off the busy streets and reasonably priced (actually) healthy food. It's also clean and bright in here. I got a side of the primavera salad for $5 - it only came with one piece of tomato and mozzarella but for $5, I'm not too mad. Huge selection of all day breakfast, paninis, salads and wraps here. Great if you're looking for a quick spot for lunch when exploring the area.

Yelp
A little long of a wait during lunch today but I think thats not the norm. Wide variety on the menu which is awesome. I really want to come back a try more. The salads looked so creative and loaded with fresh fruit but I didn't get a chance to try one this time. I got one of the chicken spinach wraps. Chicken was of great quality and well marinated. Prices are reasonable all considered for what seems to be great quality ingredients but I do wish there was a bit more protein in my wrap and even a bit more cheese to be fair value. My wrap was loaded with spinach though. Most sandwiches are between $9.5-11 and include chips. The half sandwich and half soup or salad combos seemed like a great way to get variety at a great price. It's smallish inside, seems to be more popular as a pick up place. Lots of great options on the menu, I can't wait to go back and try more items. Will update the menu when I do!

Yelp
I've ate at this establishment on 3 separate occasions for lunch during the work day. It was not busy any of those times, one sandwich takes a good 10-15 minutes to make apparently. Regardless, the sandwiches are so skimpy with the toppings it's comical considering it'll run you $10-$12. If you're going to grab food here definitely take it with you unless you want to listen to the married couple who own it bicker the whole time loudly. Im done giving this place another chance, third time was the charm. . Pic below of the last one, absolute garbage.

Yelp
Wonderful mix of fresh sandwiches, Paninis and salads. Staff is very friendly and service is prompt. Love

Yelp
Overly hyped and overly charged for dry sponge with dry icing swirls.. *drops mic*

Yelp
Came here on a Monday, they were out of Porchetta. We got our sandwich, right behind us, no go. At 1:30pm, how the heck does that happen, very lame. Asked for a lamb burger bagel, that didn't have the lamb, which is beef and lamb. This place isn't equipped to handle a simple lunch crowd....wife kinda liked the sandwich, thus the 2 stars..

Yelp
Working in Georgetown the last couple days and there's not a lot of takeout options. Found GTG on Yelp and the reviews were good so I tried it. I got "The Exorcist Steps" (b/c the Exorcist steps are right around the corner) which is a Panini with Prosciutto/ Sucuk(Beef deli peperoni)/ Roasted Red Pepper/ Fresh Mozzarella/ Provolone/ Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Spread. I thought with those ingredients it would be packed with flavor. Well it wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped and I wasn't crazy about the Sucuk which was the dominant flavor. There are so many options here I'm sure there'd be something I'd like better but, my sandwich was made fresh and it was pretty good just not great. I'll be working in G-town again and I'll be back to try something different.

Steve P.

Yelp
Overpriced Minh panini sandwich, OK quality, not very hearty. As I walked out I noticed "complimentary chips with every order" on the menu...these must have been "accidentally" forgot about when I got my $15 sandwich (without chips) dropped off at my table. Likely wont come here again.

Yelp
Adorable little panini shop in the heart of Georgetown! We were looking for a quick (but not fast food) lunch stop after walking around all day. The owners were so friendly and fantastic. We took the paninis to eat by the riverfront but the shop itself had great seating options (small and gets busy so you may not be able to get a seat). We tried 3 different paninis and they were all lovely! My favorite was the chicken caprese. You won't regret coming here!

Yelp
Best salads & paninis. I had the Chicken Caprese panini melt. Incredible! Interior décor is clean & fresh; excellent customer service. All their sandwiches & salads look amazing, and great music!

Yelp
Ordered on Ritual which was super easy and great. Slight wait for the food after it said it was ready. Good food for good prices. Definitely hit the spot.
google avatar

Yelp
The owner was the nicest man! He was so accommodating and the menu was wide ranging and yummy.

Yelp
Great little Mediteranean spot with healthy options on M at the foot of the Key Bridge. Yummy panini sandwiches and salads. Homemade htipiti, vegetarian options available. Owner is cheery and friendly. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
My go-to place while I'm in Georgetown for a healthy sandwich. My favorite is the turkey wrap (picture). Vegetables are always fresh, avocado is always ripe and delicious.

Sophia H.

Yelp
Phenomenal. I got the smoked turkey sandwich and it's was so good. The bread and the condiments added were perfect. The lady making the sandwiches was so kind. Also there is such a variety. (Wraps, sandwiches, paninis, desserts, etc.) Such a wonderful environment.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food, great customer service. I had the three cheese panini with a cup of tomato soup

Carter W.

Yelp
Georgetown Gourmet? More like Georgetown TAY Keith... It was scorching hot inside, the hours are terrible, and they got my order wrong twice. I waited (as I was the only one in there) for 20+ minutes for my turkey and cheese sandwich which was abys! I assume the restaurant could be good if you don't challenge the chefs to make a turkey and cheese sandwich.
google avatar

Keith N.

Yelp
Great place! Amazing Paninis... we had 7 in our party and everyone liked their food. The three cheese panini, Polermo Panini, Chicken Salad Wrap, Chicken Pesto Wrap and Classic Lox all a big hit. Support this local business! They cater!
google avatar

Maya C.

Yelp
Great variety, delicious sandwiches! Will definitely be back. Got the Capri and Napoli, highly recommend

Yelp
Had a late breakfast - we all had bacon egg and cheese on everything bagels! Delicious! Also had the chicken Caesar wrap - chicken was amazingly moist and made an amazing wrap! Worth a try for sure!

Dogan E.

Yelp
Great place to have variety of panini sandwiches and salads. Turkish coffee was great!!. Nice and kind staff. When you first enter, you can feel how clean this place is. I definitely suggest you to try.

Eugenio S.

Yelp
Came over there today. Worst meal ever. Sandwich meat is very fatty, greasy. Don't attend.

Sara W.

Yelp
This picture does not do this place justice, but my wrap was SO GOOD! The owners are also super friendly and the prices are very reasonable!
google avatar

Ferdinand P.

Yelp
This place should be your number one stop if you're in the DC (Georgetown area)! The manager is extremely personable! The food is super fresh and delicious! The menu has amazing options. Definitely do yourself a favor and dine in here!
google avatar

Xhesika D.

Yelp
Great place with a wide variety of options.Salads, soups and paninis are great.I would suggest Mango Salad,Lentil Soup and Chicken Caprese Melt which is the most famous one
google avatar

Mandy E.

Yelp
Amazing paninis, beautiful ambiance and design. The restaurant is clean and the food presentation is beautiful and unique. Love the décor. The food is healthy, too. Plenty of amazing salad options.

Lainey L.

Yelp
We ordered a few porchetta sandwiches from here and they were delicious! Best in town. The porchetta was huge cuts and well seasoned, the arugula was fresh, and the owners were very friendly!

Jacob H.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible place with an owner that cares. Food is fantastic and service couldn't be friendlier. A must try. Will be back again.

Olivia Y.

Yelp
The food here is AMAZING I ordered a half caprese panini and a half boccocini salad and it was so good. The atmosphere of the cafe is very nice and the owner is very sweet. There are a lot of options but I definitely recommend getting the caprese and boccocini salad! Everything there looks really good and prices are lretty reasonable, you can get half a panini and half a salaf for $9.95!

Asli I.

Yelp
Great panini, freshest salad, friendly faces and real Turkish coffee... a gem in Georgetown
