What a great place to go, meet friends and have a beverage. It has a great beer selection and the Staff was super helpful and friendly. Some of the regulars chimed in with suggestions. I settled with the St Hellen’s Oktoberfest and the wife had the Hellerbock. This former fire station turned into a brewery is awesome! Outside area is so cool and inviting. I wish I lived closer to this place. I would definitely be a regular! Great job on the structure and the beers. Your staff was super friendly too. It’s also a welcoming place for kids and dogs as well! If you haven’t checked this place out you need to!

I have enjoyed visiting the Georgia Beer Company many times at 109 S Briggs St, in Valdosta, GA. They offer a nice selection of beer and rotate many beer styles throughout the year. Food trucks are there almost daily that provide some really good food. I would recommend visiting this business and enjoy the friendly staff and enjoy a beer and food either outside or inside. A good place.

Nice brewery! First time at Georgia Beer Co. and was not disappointed. I wasn’t a big fan of the helles, but enjoyed the marzen and key lime sour. The key lime sour was far and away the best of the three, and I’m not a huge sour person. The place has a nice look and mojo, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Four stars as the beer is not quite worth five, but the place and staff are five stars.

Excellent brewery with a food truck and pet friendly patio

Friendly people, great beer, music and atmosphere. The brewery is family friendly and fun, but laid-back. Had a pleasant experience overall and delicious meal from the Grinnin Possum food truck. Will definitely return when in the area.

My wife and I stopped in because we saw the Taste by W4K food truck outside. After ordering Carey's amazing food, I decided to go inside to see what beers they had. I talked with the bartender for a few moments, and he recommended a coffee milk stout based on what I told him I usually like. The beer was fantastic, paired well with the seafood, and we will definitely be stopping in again. There was indoor and outdoor seating available, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

Had such a great time at Oktoberfest here. Loved the music, fun foods, and atmosphere! "Peachin it real" was also phenomenal!

We stop here on our way south. Beer is great and the staff friendly. Music was a great addition.

We took a short walk to look at the murals and artwork around Valdosta, GA! All on the way to a great brewery, Georgia Beer Company! They have a large list of brews to choose from, like stouts, sours, IPAs, lagers, and everything in between. The space is large and open with a long bar, table seating, and a huge outdoor space with live music! Some of the beers we sampled included the Destress Express sensational coffee milk stout with a coffee forward nose and on the palate then mellowing into a creamy yet slightly bitter aftertaste. Being only 6.5% it is more like a cup of Joe than a boozy stout. Another favorite was the Blueberry Field Party Blonde Ale, a 5% blueberry forward beer on the nose and palate, very fruity. If you love sours, Grandmas Jelly Mayhaw Berry Sour is a 5.3% tangy and tart beer but not overpowering and refreshing. Of the rest we sampled, the Foggy Bottom is a 7% west coast IPA, large hops, bitter on the back, while Azalea City amber ale is a 5.5% malty yet balanced, mellow, and smooth amber. Dark 30 Black IPA is a 6% beer that's both toasty and hoppy, while the Back Nine Lager is a smooth, sippable light beer that only has 130 calories! You really can't go wrong with any of these beers from Georgia Beer Company! The service was also amazing! Great bartenders with knowledge.

I was visiting from Ca and saw this place and decided to give it a try. They did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They let me try two samples and recommended getting the flight to see which beer I liked the best. The entire place is so clean and nice. The inside is nice and spacious. But the weather was so beautiful that I decided to sit outside. They have fun games to play outside and some board games they allowed us to take outside to play. Parking was free and just right across the street. They also had a food truck selling food to eat. They also offer live music on certain nights. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good time.

Georgia beer was recommended by a person sitting in Inner Voice in Atlanta, so I decided to make a stop on my way to Ocala, Florida. Georgia beer is a few miles to the east of I-75 in Valdosta. It is a cute building with outdoor seating and a couple of rooms (bar room and listening room) inside. They don't have food, but do have food trucks on the regular. The night I was there, it was all items on top of fries, which is not my bag, so I got food elsewhere. The place has a homey feel, a bit like a country cabin. Beers listed on removable chalkboard slats behind the bar. Registers at either end of the bar. Typical of breweries, if you are not at the bar, you have to make a trek up. Two bathrooms, single stall. The beer is above average overall. The guy who recommended it felt it was better and I am sure it is for Valdosta. It is worth a stop. They do flights (yay, as the breweries in Atlanta do not) and I had two, each with 4 small pours. They do hazy IPAs, but their wheelhouse seems more in the darks and Belgian styles. The most unique beer is Watermelon Crawl, which tastes just like you are eating a watermelon. It brought back memories of childhood.

We stopped by on the way from Okefenokee. Great find! They have rotating pop up chefs from the area. Fun indoor board games and outside ones too. Live music most nights. Non alcoholic options available. Great service.

As always, the beer selection great and the service matches. Today they had the Chuckwagon serving food. I didn't order anything but my family ordered a couple of items. We're very satisfied. I will get something g next time.

This is a great little beer spot in downtown Valdosta. They have events most weeknights, great hours. The inside space is small but the outdoor space is plentiful. Great place to hit up with the kids as well. They also have the occasional food trucks so check out their social media page. I do wish they had more IPA options but they have a great variety!

Perfect summer evening date night! BBQ food truck, music and great beer. Awesome set up with indoor & different outdoor seating options and games for entertainment are provided as well and make for a good time. If we come back to Valdosta, we'll come back to Georgia Beer Co.

Georgia Beer Company is surprisingly good. They have a wonderful rotating menu of microbrews, with roughly 12-15 options of their brewed beer. The service is always on point. The beer room is big and you can see the tanks from the main drinking area. They do not serve food but they have beer trucks come in almost every day. They have a nice variety od local restaurants that offer that. They do a few great events, including Oktoberfest (pictured below), that are great. It is also kid friendly. Dang good for a small brewery in South Georgia. Cheers!

While stopping in Valdosta on my way to Florida, I decided to see if there were any breweries in the area. Georgia Beer Company popped up, and was a 4 minute drive from hotel. I am so glad I went to check it out; outstanding staff and good beer. And fabulous atmosphere, inside and out. I definitely recommend the Georgia Beer Company.

Great space for large groups, and well....small. Fantastic place for live music. They have Food Trucks on site. It's basically counter service. We had a large group on that night and they had different types of locally brewed beer. We will definitely be back and tell other friends and family about y'all.

Go! What an amazing atmosphere and the beer was top notch. It is worth the trip and I would go to Valdosta just for the brewery!

We are visiting from VA, and found this brewery on maps. The staff was very pleasant and relaxed ambiance with some cold beers. Great way to end our trip in GA.

Great beer. Sour cider. Only 2 bathrooms, each one is a onesie. For real? A brewery with 1 toilet for men and 1 for women? Why not just 2 bathrooms for anyone - why complicate it?

Great brewery in Valdosta, Georgia. We were on our way back from Pine Mountain and wanted to stop at a local brewery. This was a great place to stop. Great beer. It was after the breweries had opened after covid 19 restrictions so they did not allow anyone to sit inside the brewery but there was plenty of seating outside. Family and dog friendly. We had the Raspberry blonde and an IPA. Great addition to the downtown Valdosta area. They have a couple parking lots and you can take the beer to go.

The beer was great, the servers are a little uptight. Great place overall though. The food truck outside was fantastic. Lovely old couple serving tasty fried chicken tenders with sweet honey mustard and tangy BBQ. Highly recommended.

Isabelle and Edin helped us out on our visit to GA beer. They made our experience so enjoyable, and we will definitely be back.

Great craft brewery! The team there was super friendly and welcoming. They had about 20 or so beers of varying flavors and alcohol %, from a dark coffee to a light blueberry. The picnic tables and high tops inside looked perfect for small and large groups, or just hanging with friends. They had some tables outside with umbrellas and corn hole, so believe? I didn't see any food, but they had some snack stuff - we bought some pork rinds (taco flavor). I heard they have food trucks on the weekend - we were there on a Tuesday, and there were more than a handful of people around 5:00 - I think they open at 4:00? Really cool place and must do if ever visiting Valdosta. Great merch.

Great knowledge staff!! The brewery itself is in a great little relaxed environment . I like the outdoor area but I like sitting at the bar and talking with other patrons and the bar staff My wife loves the blueberry blonde ale .

Georgia Beer Company is Valdosta's first local craft brewery! BEER (4.5/5.0): When a new brewery opens up, you would expect them to take a while to make good beer. However, Georgia Beer Company's brewmaster has been making good beer far before this establishment even opened. The beer here is very good. My personal recommendations of what is currently being brewed are listed below: - Southern Isles (Tropical IPA) - Field Party (Light, easy drinking beer) ATMOSPHERE (5/5): The vibe is great here! Ample room both indoors and outdoors for having a good time. I would love to see live music and the incorporation of the local art scene here at some point. SERVICE (4/5): This area could be improved slightly. I was told by both servers I interacted with that I could not sample any beer but rather, should purchase a small glass to try it. Hopefully, this is just an inter-staff misunderstanding, because every brewery I've ever been to not only allows samples but encourages them. All in all, Georgia Beer Company is an incredible place and I am very happy they chose Valdosta to be their home.

I LOVE GEORGIA BEER! This is such a great addition to the Valdosta scene. I have had a great experience each time I go. Environment/Experience: There's a lot of seating inside and out, games to play, etc. You can also take a tour to see how the beer is made! Favorite Beer: I love the Raspberry Blonde (I know so girly), because it's light and has a hint of raspberry but isn't sweet! Price: The beer is a GREAT price at $4-$6 each. I can't wait to go back to Georgia Beer!

We were on our way through from Tallahassee and based on TLH Beer Society reviews, knew we needed to make a stop here along the way. The space is large both indoor and outdoor, and the beer selection was more than I had expected. It was a little disappointing they were not doing flights at the time of our visit (not even sure why) but the pints we got were tasty and seemed like a solid selection of craft beer. Beers weren't really outside of the box like sours or such. Either way, certainly worth a stop and next time we would plan it when a food truck is there. With all of that space hopefully they can expand to offer more food and beverage options. No wine at breweries in GA.

Absolute Banger!!! The Beers were on point! Did 2 flights, the definite high points in IMO were the Destress Express Coffee Milk Stout and the Chatty Kathy Wheat Beer, and the PAVILION PEANUT BEER PORTER!!!! John and Eden, the Beer Tenders, were next level with the recommendations and the order in which to drink so as not to affect the palette! That atmosphere was hoping, with local music playing outside, boardgames and darts on the inside to fill time and escape that oppressive South Georgia Heat! Definitely Recommend! and as a Non-local wishing for distribution!

We were in town for a wedding, and this place won us over so much that we visited both days we were in town. First off they have a great beer selection with about 12-15 options. All the beer we tried tasted great, and they seem to rotate with seasonal selections, etc. Also the atmosphere was great too! The inside was very nice and spacious, but they also offered lots of great outdoor seating which appealed to us the most due to the nice weather. They have picnic tables all over, and also a covered area with picnic tables as well. One small suggestion would be some seating options with back support like chairs, hammocks etc. Otherwise your brewery was near perfect. We will for sure visit again if we come back to Valdosta.

Ok so I'm so glad I didn't know of this place while I was in college, I would have been here way too often! I love the atmosphere and the customer service is great. Even as I sit here on this beautiful day I'm enjoying the music and just being outside with my girls having a good beer. I started to get the Distress Express (Ale made with cold brew) but the guy at the counter said that mixing it with the blueberry makes it taste like blueberry coffee cake and darnitI was sold! It tastes amazing and I'm so happy about his knowledge! Great place to just kick back and vibe!

I'm thrilled that Valdosta has a place like this. This place is awesome and I enjoyed coming here with my family when I was in town recently. The service was quick and the seating is plentiful. We went on a Saturday evening and there was a live band playing. A local food/taco truck was serving food. The beer is reasonable priced and there are plenty of options for your tastes (from IPAs to stouts to bits).

This place is excellent. I have traveled through parts of the famous North Carolina beer trail (HWY 64), but Georgia Beer Co.'s beer is by far better than most beers, or maybe all, I have tried in N.C. I do tend to like dark beers, like stouts and porters. The Detress Express coffee milk stout has a great coffee smell and flavor. The Summer Porter was a good second choice. If you are looking for a nice black and tan, they will mix the Summer Porter with their English Pale Ale (EPA). I had the EPA on my second flight and it was pretty dang good. By the looks of it, their Raspberry beer was a big hit with people. I personally do not like raspberry, but my friend that was with me said it was one of his favorites. The staff is supper nice and helpful. This was my second visit here. I do have one request, stay open later on weekend nights.

We stopped in while in Valdosta for the night. Happy that we found a local brewery on our stay we had to check it out. We were not disappointed. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We started out with a couple of flights and enjoyed it all. It was a busy Friday evening, but somehow nobody seemed to get lost in the crowd. Had a great time and will come in again next time we are in Georgia.

This place is awesome and the beer is fantastic. The building is beautiful, with tons of exposed bricks and original touches like their huge sliding doors. The outdoor and indoor areas give a lot of seating to sit and chill. My friends and I stayed for a few hours and tried almost all of their beers while playing some games. The raspberry blonde is great. The double IPA is my favorite. The coffee milk stout is also amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful when making selections. I'll be back for sure.

First time in and I'm treated like a regular. Great service and pretty darn good beer. Food truck outside had some of the best tots I've ever eaten. Bartenders are cool and can talk beer. I'll be back with the wife who is also a beer lover. Please patronize this establishment because I don't want to drive 100 miles to the next closest brew house. Keep it going guys...

If you're planning to make your way through Georgia, or simply looking for a great brewery, make this place a must to stop in and have a great beer or two. The staff was so friendly, as well as the other customers. The bartenders knew their beers and were on point with their personalized recommendations. The establishment offers the perfect atmosphere that all craft beer enthusiasts are looking for from the old warehouse/industrial building to the indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I travel to visit many breweries and Georgia Beer Company is definitely on the top of our list!

Well worth the wait!! Everything I've tried has been excellent and the renovated building makes for the best atmosphere!! Look forward to trying everything they brew:)

It's alright. Cool concept, just not executed correctly. There wasn't enough seating even though there was plenty of space for more tables to be put outside. The outdoor benches also gave my friend a splinter. The games and lights were a nice touch. Not enough of a brew selection (they ran out by 8pm of the one that was decent). Many people around didn't particularly like the beer and were chugging to get it over with. The after taste was what made it gross (prob need to clean the taps). Ordering your drink is not effective and kinda weird to stand in a line like that blocking the entrance/exit. There's no food but you can order something and have it delivered (which is ok). All in all, it's eh. I won't come back unless my friends drag me there, but I'll be bringing my own beer.

My boyfriend loved the selections of beer here! Super casual, great atmosphere and not expensive at all! He got two sampler sets and loved every single one he tried. Definitely have to make this a regular date night spot!

Awesome brewery. It's amazing it took this long to get a place like this open in Valdosta. The building and outbuilding where the games are located look great and are perfect for a day of drinking and hanging out (another Yelp review mentions a bad experience getting a splinter on a wooden picnic bench at a brewery in South Georgia...I have thoroughly checked all the benches and can confirm that they are picnic benches at a brewery, who cares?) The bar is staffed by some rad people who have no problem just bs'ing and making someone who's moving to the area feel super welcome. The beer itself is really good, high points being the red ale and the Destress Express which was fantastic.

Great place to grab a drink. No food selections, but that's ok. There often is a food truck parked nearby. Their beer selections offer something that will suit any palate.

I may be wrong, but I think this is the first brewery in Valdosta. The bartenders are awesome and the beer is great! There are 2 sets of cornhole boards outside. This is a great place to spend an afternoon

Solid beers. This microbrewery was desperately needed in S GA. Super cool employees as well. Only drawback is the actual building, cool look but loud as hell. Sound echos off the walls and ceiling. Support this place, we need these places in S GA.
