Soon as you walk in the ambiance is that of a familiar BBQ joint. The wife greets you at the counter with a warmth that only close family or BBQ veterans can deliver. I had the brisket, ribs, and a bottle Superior Crack Smoked Sea Salt. The brisket could have been eaten with no teeth it was so tender. The husband heard me smacking and stepped away from the smoker to collect his praise to which I gave it to him. But I know BBQ so I challenged him "yeah the meat is tender but maybe the sauce is the star" I said. The husband looked at me, smirked, then gave his lovely wife the head nod. She reappeared with some ribs with No Sauce. LISTEN HERE!! It was soooo good, the smoke, the wood, the seasonings, the decades of experience was front and center!! I'll be throwing my next birthday party there for sure.
