It’s like the 4th time I’ve been here and I have to say, there’s nothing wrong with this place. I love the music, the atmosphere, and omg the food is sooooo gooood! This day we ordered the Easter Ham Dinner and the Portobello Mushroom pasta w chicken, the pastas here are amazing, this is one of my favorite places to eat in Wilton Manors, highly recommended. ☺️ Dayana is so amazing! She was so attentive and charismatic, we loved her, hahaha

I’m paying nine dollars for a beer. The bartenders are doing shots for free on the patio doesn’t seem very fair or Cost-effective. I sat at the main bar inside for 10 minutes and no one even asked me if I wanted anything I was ignored Earlier in the day, I went there and had the Italian flatbread. It was very good. The place is very in my opinion dirty there Is evidence of water or oil or something like that on The wallpaper in the booth next to the tables You asked what they look like two of them had great bodies one with colored bleached hair the other had many tattoos they looked as if they could be brothers. The other was a short person with curly hair They must have had in total of 7 or 8 shots in Total. The register never opened once. The night 8/5/2025 kitchen had closed Please keep the drink it was odd tasting and worm.

I do not live in Florida, but I vacation here twice a year. I always manage to get to alibi at some point. Every time I come the place looks completely different. They need to stop with the renovations because every time I come it looks smaller and smaller and sleazier. 20 years ago when I came here for the first time I thought it was a very classy place. That has completely changed. The drinks are now very expensive even though they are two for one on some nights. Pretty soon it’s gonna turn into another Ramrod.

Google
The guy at the main bar took my $20 for a beer and a rum, didn't check it out, and left the change. I was left waiting. They're stealing, and there's also another guy at the other bar across the street who, if you have a card, gives you tips. Then he gives you coins and you want to change them. Then he wants a tip. And if you don't give it, he tells you it's the last time he'll serve you. They're awful.

Google
First time back in ages and disappointing. Went Saturday night for the drag show and dancing afterwards. We have no issues with the quality of drag performers. However everything else sucked? Latino looking/younger bartenders lazy with poor attitudes. Drinks expensive even with 2 for 1. No call options for gin? Place smells like old beer/dirty mop/weed. People allowed to vape everywhere. Absolutely no production value for drag show; poor lighting, stupid/slow DJ, no video feed, nothing... People allowed to stand anywhere ordering nothing and not tipping entertainers while blocking the bar service areas. Needs more chairs for drag show. Dance music was antiquated or all Latino themed, not fun at all.

Our waitress was a bit off!! she had long black hair but seemed like she kept a conversation going on her iPod ear piece through out our stay. Felt I was interrupting her when we needed something. The food and ambience was great!!

Google
Nice terrace with a good selection of items on the menu. The staff is friendly but the service was very slow considering it was a late lunch. The food quality was ok. The crab slider very tasty.

We eat here weekly, mostly dining outdoors on the patio. The recent addition of the front covered patio is awesome! Food is convenient here and drinks are tasty. Highly recommend lemon drop martini with grey goose. Vegetarian burger seems homemade, meat eaters will love it too!

Yelp
Food has never disappointed but for me, I go for the live entertainment. Specifically the singers. Brian Mason always crushes and is quick to allow other singers on stage to accompany him. When you go be sure to get Matty at the bar to serve you. He's quick and always remembers my drink. He's the best for me.

Yelp
Great food for the price 2/1 drinks during the happy hour Also very good entertainment

Yelp
One of the OG bars/clubs in the area. Good food, good drinks and fun shows. Gia and Charlie are great servers. Keep your personal belongings close to you. Alibi is know for pick pocketers.

Yelp
On a Tuesday because I heard how great LaNora was as a singer. She can sing BUT She is on a MFN Lauren Hill schedule she started at 8:30 show was advertised to start at 7:30! Good thing she is pitch perfect as I was about to leave and give a bad review!

Cristhian E.

Yelp
I'm a frequent customer of this bar because I have a lot of fun here and I usually come with my friends on Friday nights, but I had never been treated like tonight and this Review goes directed to the bartender Chad, he's so rude for treating customers, tonight I asked him for a drink and after I paid him I grabbed my drink I stayed at the bar for a while and then asked him for my pass to get my second drink and he literally yelled at me in front of more people saying that he had already given it to me and I simply walked away, I stayed at the bar ever since he gave me my first drink and he never really gave me the pass to get my second free drink and all he did instead of helping was yelling at me. So bad customer service none of the bartenders had ever treated me like that before I think that someone should talk to him about this matter. Thank you.

Yelp
Monday night #dinner with the boys at #georgiesalibiwiltonmanors filled with 2for1 filthy #dirtymartinis, steak #streettacos appetizer and a magnificent #gyro converted into a #glutenfreeoption {beyond grateful and humbled by the chef's kindness }. The music is always perfection and the ambiance of the outdoor patio is just fabulous, I love sitting at the high tops!

Michael D.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place!! Every time I'm in town I gotta stop in to see my favorite bartender Mattie. He is the best bartender always so attentive and welcoming. Thank you Mattie for making this one of my favorite bars in Wilton!!!

Yelp
All the food was pretty good! Only giving 4 stars because the service was mediocre. But definitely recommend, it's a nice vibe here. The only thing is the general tso's chicken was $17 and you only get 5 little pieces of chicken and a pound of rice. (The chicken was still good nonetheless) lol. Crab Rangoon was very good! Highly recommend.

Yelp
As far as gay bars go on Wilton Drive, the Alibi is reliable. There are several staff members my girlfriend and I have great rapport with (hi Mattie & Jose!), and the food and drinks have never been a letdown. Their '2 for 1' with different colored chips indicating type of drink is lovely, and for a run-of-the-mill bar, the vast variety of food options are really solid. I love that there's designated smoking and non-smoking sections for the outdoor seating as well. However -- I would rather pee outside than use their bathrooms. It truly is an 'absolute emergency' situation that inspires me to think about showering the moment I get home. Lack of cleanliness aside -- the truly unfortunate reason for the 2-star rating relates to the bathroom attendant. On a previous occasion, the attendant stopped my girlfriend because she didn't tip him. This time, he upped his game by unplugging the UV hand dryer and asking patrons to give him tips for paper towels. Truly egregious. Will I stop coming? Nah. It's a welcoming bar and I never feel judged for being a lesbian in a neighborhood that is 95% gay men (thanks, y'all). I just will make sure I don't use the facilities whenever I visit.

Yelp
I came here a few times during my visit to Ft Lauderdale. The outdoor space is great. A nice covered Patio with a bar. The wrap I had was very good with crispy tater tots. Very friendly wait staff.

Yelp
Good view and love the vibe here. Music great. Best place in the plaza here. Check it out!

Yelp
We go to Alibi on Saturday evenings and I think they have the best wings on the Drive. But the real reason we go is to see Jennifer McClain. Always a great Evening with many friends.

Wilson N.

Yelp
We usually like Alibi and its early shows. Tonight the Boozy Belters are the entertainers , who are EXCELLENT. However, there is only one bartender for the whole bar. Obviously, we had to wait long tome to be served. I wonder if Alibi is short of staff because it does treat them right.

John V.

Yelp
I speak for the many when i say, The outside bar chairs are a poor choice to keep regulars and guests you expect to return who support the bar. In short- the bar is dying

Dave M.

Yelp
I have been going to Alibi for over 20 years, a regular when I in FLL. I took four friends there yesterday and was stunned and the rudeness of the trash waiter. I have reversed our entire credit card charge. That should ID the waiter and maybe get some attention. The owner, "Johnny Y. K. Pak" needs to give serious consideration to major inside staff changes. I have never encountered such a rude bunch of creatures in a retail establishment. Watching them was really sad and disappointing. True, these days it is difficult to find good help. But this bunch of tip-whores is beneath contempt. Over the years, I have likely spent tens of thousands of dollars at this place. But never again.
google avatar

Lee W.

Yelp
I feel some of the staff here are unfriendly. If a customer is patient, polite and tips well, doesn't cause trouble or get too drunk, then there is no reason for staff to be rude to them. It ruins your night. There are a couple of staff here that are an absolute pleasure. However others are pretty horrible, to me at least. For example Jose, even when I overtip the money is snatched away without a thank you or any acknowledgment. I don't need people to be my best friend, but dirty looks and surly attitude aren't called for.
google avatar

Glen B.

Yelp
Bartender on Friday night on the inside bar made a margarita that was so bad (undrinkable) that I had to go to the outside bar to get a respectable drink. I love Alibi, but this was pretty bad. Please retrain your bartenders on how to make a proper margarita!

Bowman S.

Yelp
Sketchy people allowed to take up valuable space without buying drinks? Had friends in town the last two weekends and ending up going on Saturday nights for the drag show. Both experiences were similarly bad. Bar seats filled by trash not buying drinks and/or not tipping the entertainers? No one cares how this screws the staff and pisses off actual customers like me (us). Easy solution is a two drink minimum or a cover that's credited back for drinks/food. Additionally we've seen a new "scammer element" of young men targeting older customers for drinks/money. No visible security or management inside to deal with/see anything. We like the hard working bar staff and drag performers however ownership/management constantly disappoints...

Yelp
Had an amazing time and the food was yummy. I totally support local businesses. Want to go back and finish what we started!!

Yelp
Good food and great service. Location is great right in the heart of the action. Definitely a repeat.

Yelp
You can pick from smoking or non-smoking area on the patio area which I thought was awesome. Love sitting on the patio but hate smelling cigarettes. Someone greeted our table promptly and we placed our order. Food prices were average but consider you will be receiving lunch serving sizes. We ordered the chicken flat bread pizza and potato skins. Both were hot, fresh and awesome to taste. If you are looking for a patio area that offers nice, simple lunch food, fast, this is the place.

Steven B.

Yelp
Overall if you visit "the Drive" the Alibi is your best option. Price wise it is comparable or actually cheaper than other places I have found on Wilton Drive. The food is good and the drinks are both good and reasonable. Some places charge a buck more and pour heavier, but is that what it is about. You want to date a drunk, well even at Alibi that can happen, but that is not Alibi's mission... the mission is for you to have a good time with good food and beverages... and entertainment. How many of these other places even have entertainment. Maybe ATMs are not all that important but they reflect an establishment's commitment to their customers and community. I'm good with feedback.

Tim T.

Yelp
Ordered the daily taco special. Come dry with no salsa. I asked my server for salsa and was told the special comes without it but he could get me some for a charge. Meanwhile The Pub was packed but Alibi barely any customers.

Yelp
This place honestly sucks. We ate here this past weekend and were served by a person named Gia. Sweaty and hyper, honestly gave us anxiety. I swear a drop of sweat fell from their brow onto the table. I've always had good service here but Gia messed up a few things and quickly dismissed the mistakes as something as a nonissue. Table was dirty and not kept. Bring back the server with the green eyes big smile and fun service. We'll come back when he's there.

Yelp
Cool bar on Wilton Manors. Great service, fun place with nice entertaining and drag show. Food was good for a bar and drinks were not bad.
google avatar

Rene P.

Yelp
Go there all the time. Recommend the chicken tenders. Service is great. And the atmosphere is also great. If it happens to be a Friday night stay for the show with Teresita La Caliente.
google avatar

Frank D.

Yelp
Staff can be just awful, you can tell that they just don't want to be there, and care if you're a patron or not. No pride in their work or their community. Certainly better places to spend your time.
google avatar

Jon S.

Yelp
Totally deceptive "2 for 1" pricing as advertised in the bar -- only applies to select vodkas (Titos), but not others -- despite signage with no fine print proudly announcing 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour. Bartender could have at least pointed out that we could select another vodka and enjoy the special. Businesses are free to implement whatever pricing they choose, but transparency is not only expected but required. This is a clear violation of trust and probably several consumer protection laws, but not worth the effort to do anything more than never return and post this warning. Plenty of other options with honest and fair pricing and transparency for their customers -- and friendlier staff. Regrettable.

Yelp
I opened the door to enter the outdoor food area. The waiter absolutely lost his mind, screaming at me for blocking his space. I attempted to speak to him; a second waiter verbally assaulted me. I'm without words, to be honest. I realize FLL is a tourist town, but I've never been treated with outright hate for walking through a door.

JC C.

Yelp
I've been going for years and only recently with Ricky as manager has this place really gone downhill. The shows and events are constantly cancelled and changed at the expense of the LGBTQ+ community. The management has no shame about criticizing big, trans, or ethnic peoples in the open. Do not support this place.
google avatar

Yelp
I've recommended this place so many times I lost count. For years this was my "go-to" place for a delicious hamburger, the best in S Florida. Unfortunately, with the passage of time, things change. I typically sit in the patio area because of its cleanliness, and it's away from the bar area. I arrived around the lunch hour, and the patio was 3/4 full. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone with an attitude to seat me; I was okay with waiting because they were short-staffed, but the attitude was unacceptable. Once seated, it took a few seconds for the waitress to bring the menu, utensils, and take my drink order, and literally less than 30 seconds to get my ice tea. She was friendly and, considering the tuff crowd, very happy. I ordered my favorite burger, "the champ," a rare, medium winner of the FTL burger bash in 2010. it has caramelized onions, chipotle mayo, American cheese on a brioche bun with a side of fries. It took quite a while to get the food to my table, but I was ok with it. The staff was obviously struggling to keep up with the demanding clientele. The burger arrived just as I ordered it, but it looked like it was slapped together. The size of the burger appeared to be smaller, and the taste was nowhere close to what it used to be. This is the 4th time in a row I ate here and had a fail. The burger by itself was good, but it wasn't spectacular like in the past. I found out that the cook quite a while back, and it's obviously affecting the food quality here. I was by myself during this visit and had company the previous visits that agree with my assessment. Missing was the salt, pepper, sweetener, and the excellent service I was used to. I feel I should've at least had the basic sweetener for my tea, salt, and pepper. The floor was messy, but considering the crowd, I was okay with my missing items and the floor being messy. Service was prolonged, but that's ok as well. It took a while to get the waitress's attention to ask for the check. Considering the circumstances, she did a good job. Again the burger was an epic failure and not worth the trip. Sadly I doubt I'll be back here again

Gregory B.

Yelp
Music on Monday nights used to be just Antonio. Now with a lady. Her microphone is louder than Antonio (tonight as Brian). So loud I had to leave early. Antonio and Brian are great. No reason for it getting louder. Seems like she is controlling.

Yelp
Decided to have lunch out today. Was greeted by a lovely host and seated in Nico's section. Nico was very friendly and we placed the order for the Sausage Hoagie Special and Southwest Rolls. The hoagie was deeeeeelicious! Alibi always offer great music, outdoor seating and a great staff. Love you guys and thanks for always being there for the ‍ community. Besos Mi Amor!

Yelp
My first time back in a long time and now I remember why. Horrible bar service. I' was standing at the bar and it took 10 minutes to get a drink. The bartender who finally served me had such a Bad attitude. No wonder it's so empty

Yelp
Omg! Love this place! This is my first time here and I am hooked! The tuna nachos are amazing! Freshest tuna I've ever had, and the seaweed salad is drool worthy! Our server was Christian, and he was so amazing! Incredibly attentive and so funny! He kept us wanting more. I will ask for him every time! Yesenia was super sweet too! Overall, we had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
On December of 2022, I had the worst experience in my life with this sham business. Me and my partner who frequented this business for the past couple of years we're harassed and accused of stealing?! which WE ourselves on June 2022 of the same year were PIT POCKETED (phone stolen) and tried to speak to bar attendants for help, bathroom attendants & Manager who ALL turned their backs (they wouldn't even a jot our number to call us back in case they found the phone) which led us to file a police report with 3 other victims. (BUT the kicker is they turn their backs on us in June (since they didn't care to reach out after our attempts with them) and i guess i should've known to never return back here... but now they claim we are thief's???) They not only accused us who are frequent LOCALS of stealing or whatever, but denied to show us proof of the acts they so claim. They will take PICTURES of you without consent, and send these pictures to their neighboring business to also deny you. We called for WEEKS and spoke to, (**John**) who said he would check back up but did not, (**Mickey**) who also said would check up but did not, and (**Betsy**) who will claim to look into this claim but ultimately turn their backs again. Finally, my partner went on early January in person to resolve this issue again as this could affect his job and mine (using our pictures) and us going to our local bars in Wilton as limited spaces of the LGBT community exist in south FL. & first Betsy claimed their was no issue but then proceeded to ask for ID from him to only take a picture of his ID to further block from using any services in the neighboring businesses. (Learned after contacting local law enforcement, Alibi's sends neighboring businesses these pictures to each other.) We frequented so much we knew servers, Security, bathroom attendants, the old woman (Betsy who serves menus) and some drag performers. Why us Alibis, wtf? I have never been profiled ESPECIALLY in the LGBT community. As someone who for years supported this business i am more than upset. *****AVOID***** if your phone gets stolen? (They don't care). However, if they wanna profile you and accusing of stealing: they are a private business so they can. Look at the rest of reviews, this happens often..
google avatar

Jacob D.

Yelp
Another local watering hole in the Wilton Manors gayborhood. A bit confusing as it's a restaurant/bar with it appearing more like a bar with seating in the back and side patio for dining only. Live music inside if that's your thing; however, limited seating awaits. Outside front entrance patio is much quieter but no misters outside.
google avatar

Estephany V.

Yelp
I have been here many times and have had a good time with my friend, however today was very different i met Remy! And let me just say his energy and customer service as a bartender was beyond amazing! I wish there was more bartenders like him. Because of him i will come back to alibi more often.

Nyc F.

Yelp
Went to this bar not expecting much. But the bathroom attendant was very rude. I will not go back to this bar again. They need to check these people before they get into businesses. I'm here with friends to have fun not get attitude. And the managers did nothing. Vote with your money. This is not a very welcoming place. And it goes all the way up to the management. SMH food is also Mediocre bar food. Nothing special.

Yelp
It's a very interesting state of affairs in this country when my heterosexual sister and her husband take her gay brother to a gay bar/restaurant for lunch. At one time, I would have known the gay places. And she's a Republican! What is wrong with this picture?!? We were going to Gay Pride (naturally) with their 7-year-old son, because he loves going to Gay Pride. We were planning on having lunch and my brother-in-law told me about how great Georgie's hamburgers are. He recommended "The Champ" which was voted the best burger in the area in 2010. Well, he was right. It was incredible. It wasn't cheap, but it was excellent! The staff were all very nice and accommodating. You can imagine how busy they would be on this day, but they still took their time with us, which is especially important when there is a child present. And the bathroom is clean! That's very important. The prices could be a little better, but otherwise, the place is great. I can't say how it is in the evenings because I don't drink and have never experienced that, but the restaurant is definitely worth visiting.

Chris C.

Yelp
Love the vibe and fabulous bartenders. Always great service and delicious food and drink.

Jerry S.

Yelp
I recently had lunch at the covered outdoor restaurant. The food was good as usual but i noticed how dirty the outside of the restaurant was. They need to pressure clean the floors outside before they have the dirty dining TV crew make a surprise visit.
google avatar

Liz B.

Yelp
Love this place! So mostly it's awkward for two straight females to hang out on the strip but not at Georgie's! We destroyed some chicken nachos while enjoying the 2-4-1 deal! Keith was the best server so attentive and ready for our every need. (And he's got some glass blue eyes that you look into and see the depths of your soul too!) love this place every time, the food the service
google avatar

Gregory Michael C.

Yelp
Never took the time to review Georgie's, but taking the time now! Have eaten at the Monkey Bar many, many times pre and post pandemic! We've always had great and friendly greeting, friendly staff, incredible service and the food is and has always been delicious! So many choices and everything is fresh! Great outdoor seating, fans and socially distancing of their tables!

William B.

Yelp
The LGBTQ performers are one of the pillars that keep this bar going, but it's consistently clear that Alibi doesn't value or appreciate the work that these entertainers put into their performances. The average patron is likely oblivious to this, but for those who are conscious of where their dollars go, this might be a useful tidbit of information. Personally, it's hard for me to justify supporting an LGBTQ establishment when they don't fully support the community in return.

Omar Luis D.

Yelp
with so many places in Wilton Manors, make sure to skip this one and not waste your time. There are better places to spend your money at. Oh and if you do go, make sure you tip your drag queens, They surely do treat them horribly there.

Yelp
This past weekend, I enjoyed a South Florida staycation from Miami to Fort Lauderdale and had the BEST time visiting Georgie's Alibi Monkey Bar on both Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. As a super fan of supremely talented entertainer Jennifer McClain, I always make plans to see her whenever she performs two shows in one weekend at Alibi. On Saturday evening, I arrived early at Alibi for Jennifer's "Diva On Demand" show and had an exceptional experience with at the bar with bartender Jair. He remembered me from my last visit and also my favorite type of vodka. Jair is welcoming and beyond friendly. My evening at Jennifer's show in the Monkey Bar was so much fun and the lively crowd made the night extra special. Bartender Josh impressed me with his energy and efficiency in delivering all of the drink and food orders from the large crowd with a smile. On Sunday afternoon, I returned to Alibi for Jennifer's "Chill Zone" show in the Main Bar and had an outstanding time. Bartender Niko was kind and provided phenomenal guest service. The crowd was ready to enjoy themselves and Jennifer brought the house down with her songs and style. There are many establishments in Wilton Manors for food, drink, and fun with Georgie's Alibi Monkey Bar a BEST in class venue and experience.

Rhea C.

Yelp
My friend and I both got PICK POCKETED. Our phones and wallets were taken. Apparently at least 5 other people also had things stolen the same night. If you read the other reviews this happens a lot here. It would be helpful if Alibi tried to in the very least make sure people were aware to watch out. Otherwise the dancing and performances are fun. Just watch your stuff because if feels like no one else is going to have your back there.

Jerry C.

Yelp
I've visited Georgie's Alibi a few times over the years, but now that I live here, it comes up on my radar more often. I had snacks, dinner, and obviously many 2-4-1 happy hour drinks. I've even had one of their infamous Thursday night $3 Long Island iced teas. From what I can recall, the LIIT come in mason jars and are a deadly throwback to college days when I could mix and drink all the bottom shelf liquor at the same time (those days are long gone). Still, if you're a tourist and like to try anything once, try the LIIT on Thursdays. At least you can brag you only paid $3 for a huge drink. I found the dinner entrees fairly typical of pub food and pretty bland. Obviously that is what their regulars like, so just spice up your tacos and everything else with hot sauce. Their bar appetizers are more successful. The wings are tasty (and Sriracha spicy), and their edamame is ok and worth it during happy hour pricing. We tend to avoid Alibi later at night because the music is played too loudly when there isn't a show. Gays are going to be deaf by 60 at this rate. Alibi's Monkey Bar is more to our liking...the music is not as loud, and it usually has a good crowd, especially on Latin nights and when the go-go boys are dancing.
