This is a beautiful space, perfect for sitting down and doing some work. Bright, high ceilings, plants — love the vibes. The only tricky part is that it's always packed so finding a spot can be hard. Menu-wise, the vegan HK milk tea is great, and the pandan cookie is so good.

Google
Nice HK-style cafe inside the building with beautiful interior design. Many seats, good for working, hanging out. 🍍🧈✨Pineapple bun with butter was a YES. The bread was soft with crunchy and crumbly top. And the butter slice inside was THICKKK. Yes a crazy guilty thing but once for a while. HK milk tea was a little bit watery with a classic taste.

Google
A beautiful space surrounded by gigantic living plants. Feels like a café inside a botanical garden. Very laptop-friendly. The only drawback is a limited pastry selection.

Google
super solid drinks!! am religious about the iced hojicha, which is well concentrated in flavor. seating becomes limited in the afternoon, but it’s pretty sparse if you come in the morning. mostly I am obsessed with the huge monstera trees, the sunlight through the floor-to-ceiling windows — it’s been great for inspiration and deep work.

Google
obviously, the setting of lush plants is the draw here. the service is also good. what i cannot wrap my head around are the prices/serving sizes. for example, the yogurt “bowl” is half of a 12oz cup. i mean, the yogurt is good, but it’s not so good that i would pay $1+ for each ounce of yogurt. there is also not enough granola to make it substantial. in terms of how filling it is, i feel like i just had one of those 4oz activia cups.

Google
Good workspace. Great natural and ambient lighting, luscious greenery, spacious area and generous seating. Audience of adults and college students promoting a productive work environment. As for the drinks: Matcha latte and Hong Kong milk tea are extremely watered down. Subpar at best. Maybe the other items are better? Overall, has wifi, good space to do work, food mid.

Google
Greenest and trendiest cafe at this time. We went on a Saturday to study from 3-8pm. It was packed but I truly enjoyed the ambiance here. The high ceilings and amount of plant life made it so cozy. I got oatmilk latte and ended up paying $10 after extra shot. It was definitely expensive but I guess a price to pay for staying there to get some work done. I wish I tried the pineapple bun with butter but that is for next time!

Google
cute spot with quick service and unique ambiance—it’s on top of a stairwell with big windows and lots of indoor plants. i recommend the hk milk tea for sure!

Yelp
Georgie's is one of those coffee shops that the second you walk in you can't help but have a smile and be happy. The high ceilings and the incredible amount of natural light and greenery makes for a perfect place to sit and talk, work, read a book, or whatever you want to do. I will 100% be back here to enjoy a morning reading a book. The coffee itself was also really welled curated. The drip coffee was delicious with strong berry notes. The iced americano was not too dark and had a good blend. The yuzu lemonade is one of my favorite lemonades I've had in a long time, sour and tart like a lemonade with the citrus of yuzu without being too sweet. The pineapple bun was also delicious and having to warmed up was the move!

Yelp
cute cafe on top of vital les! great atmosphere with high ceilings and large communal tables, but it seems typically packed so beware if you're planning on sitting down and doing work here, it might be a wait until you find a free seat or cramping into a small space between two people. the despite the apparent busyness, there was virtually no line when i went! was able to get in and out within a couple of minutes. the iced oat latte i got was decent, but did the job. cute selection of hk-inspired pastries too!

Yelp
1 star off for the drinks...they aren't that tasty :( i got the hong kong milk tea, and my friend got the regular coffee. Both were meh and served in a plastic dining hall style cup...personally i don't love that touch (no plastic plz) but i understand it's meant to be HK style or something like that?? Also got the black sesame cookie which was pretty damn good. also fairly priced. The ambiance is mind blowing - hard to find a seat later in the day but so spacious and you'll feel like you're in a tropical rainforest.

Yelp
Decided to try Georgie's because I've been on the hunt for good Hong Kong milk tea. It's located inside a climbing gym, but it was pretty easy to find. I liked the concept and the open space was very nice with lots of greenery. All the tables were taken when I got there, it seems like it's a popular spot to work or study. I ordered the Hong Kong milk tea to go and found a seat on the stairs. The milk tea was disappointingly watery and not flavorful :(. I think this place was overhyped on social media because of the atmosphere. I will not be coming back.

Yelp
3.5 Found a free comedy show at Georgie's; was a good way to check out a new place. This cafe is located above the Vital Climbing Gym, a few blocks from Essex Market. Convenient from the F train, Delancey Station. I remember this area being vacant lots decades ago but so many new bldgs now. Enter via the gym entrance and go up the many steps. My husband said he saw an elevator. Lots of greens and concrete in the decor. Long table in the center and tables with chairs on the sides. Looked very nice. Has a view of the gym. Gives options for milk at no charge, exc. half and half for $0.50. Cold Yuzu lemonade was a syrup with water and ice added. Food and bakery items also available. A couple of restrooms in the back.

Yelp
Georgie's Cafe and Bar is aesthetically pleasing at its finest, sharing an upstairs space with a recreational complex building. There's a stairwell you move up to a lot of open seating with plenty of natural lighting. I stopped by after seeing a lot of its new social media posted, and was excited for its Hong Kong style food and drink. Like a lot of other NYC cafes, nearly every table was full but I snagged a quick seat for a few bites. The Egg Tart was delicious with a light, flaky crust. I was a bit underwhelmed by the Bo Lo Bao, since it could've used a bit more butter. When ordering pastries, I definitely recommend getting them toasted or warmed up as well. The prices for food and drinks are very cheap (around $4-7 each), so that's a big plus! Staff was also engaging and friendly, and made great recommendations on which items to try. Very beautiful venue, but also I'm unsure if it's ADA accessible since I didn't happen to notice an elevator. (It could be in the back where the bathrooms are, but I didn't get the chance to investigate.) However, still a great location and food stop!

Yelp
Once you find Georgie's (inside a recreational complex), you'll see an aesthetic set of stairs which lead you into a cafe with lots of pretty plans and open seating! I came here on a Monday afternoon and it was pretty busy. I sat down and was super productive! I got my HK milk tea (which was slightly bitter for me) so I ended up switching it out for a matcha latte instead which was much better. The pandan cookie here was SO good. Great study spot and tons of options for food and drink.

Yelp
Spacious study/work from home cafe! They have a ton of seating, but it fills up quick! I got the matcha latte, which was good, but nothing too special in my opinion. The pineapple bun with butter was very good though! It's warm, with a crispy outer coating that pairs so well with the cold, slightly salty slab of butter. It's inside a climbing gym but you don't have to be a member to get to the cafe.

Yelp
The place is heavily advertised on social media, and its crowded with lots of people working on their laptops, seems hard to get a seat in here. Ordered a large drip coffee and it didnt taste extraordinary. I think it will be much more worth if i get it from Starbucks next time. Will definitely NOT come back again to this place in the future

Yelp
I liked their oat milk latte, and I liked that milk substitutions doesn't cost extra. This cafe is great for studying, there are lots of tables, wifi, and bathrooms. I love the plants and the high ceiling. They also have some pastries and food. The staff are extremely friendly.

Yelp
Gem of a cafe Lovely urban ambiance with the concrete and greenery aesthetic Super spacious and with plenty of seating Pandan coconut cookie was delicious (bought one to takeaway) Complimentary WiFi available Saw a lot of people working (mostly students) Vital climbing gym directly downstairs

Yelp
Amazing cafe to work and hang out in! Grabbed an iced matcha latte and egg tart and did some work on a table for a few hours and really enjoyed the overall ambiance. Lots of seating and free WiFi. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
Such an amazing working space - it's very open and spacious and relatively quiet. It does echo a bit with the high ceilings but in terms of people chatting, people were pretty respectful. There are smaller tables for 2-3, as well as some counter seats along the side, with a big long communal table down the middle. I wouldn't recommend bringing a larger party. The menu is small but hits the spot, there are buns for about $4 a piece on display, and you can order a parfait or sandwich. I got a matcha and hojicha latte with oat milk for about $6 each and they were super strong on tea flavor - I love it! I got also a spam and egg sandwich on milky bread for $6. There are bathrooms in the back you need to borrow a key for from the counter. I'll be back!! Thank you!

Yelp
Huge cafe with lots of seating although it can get quite busy on the weekend. There is also a lot of dust in the air because the climbing gym is below. The hong kong milk tea was quite watery, would not recommend.

Yelp
Super cute Hong Kong style cafe inside the Vital building! It's spacious and airy, with lots of space to set up your laptop and study. They have a great assortment of baked goods and drinks - I was especially excited to see a dairy free version of a classic HK milk tea available on the menu! I'll definitely be back to try some of the other drinks and snacks.

Yelp
Really great place to get some work done. The cafe is located on top of a climbing gym. There's a lot of seating but it tends to be pretty full, even on weekdays. It's super spacious and surrounded by plants, and there's free wifi and a bathroom in the back. They have a limited selection of Chinese pastries, which looked good, but I didn't try any (I just got an iced americano). Overall the ambiance is great - glad I checked it out!

Yelp
I'm rating this spot as a four more for the space than the cafe aspect. I came to work on a Monday morning around 10:30/11 am. As an fyi, this cafe is in the vital climbing gym building it's just on the upper level. Since the building is enormous theres super high ceilings with an open floor plan/industrial vibe. Lots of plants make it cozy enough and I found it pretty easy to focus on my work here especially on the long table that runs through the middle of the space. People were very respectful and it was more of a work atmosphere than social one. The matcha latte was very green but tasted mid. The tea was kind of bitter and the ratios seemed off to me. Thinking that the quality of matcha isn't amazing but I could be wrong. They did seem to sift it though so there weren't any clumps which is a plus. Don't think I was charged for plant milk either!

Yelp
Super cool cafe with really nice ambience and really pretty decoration. There was a lot of seating and outlets everywhere, which was really great. The latte I got was actually really good too, and service is great! I would def recommend doing work here or stopping by.

Yelp
Georgie's has such great vibes. It shares the same building with a gym on the bottom while it is the cafe upstairs. It is very spacious with ample seating. Came for breakfast and ordered the milk tea and pineapple bun. The milk tea has a very unique taste. I'm used to the Hong Kong style tea, but this one has more of a black tea taste. I liked that it had a different taste. Pineapple bun was warmed up and very fresh. Staff is friendly and courteous. Great place to catch up with a friend, work or just people watch. Would maybe come back to try something at the bar or anything else off their extensive menu.

Yelp
Georgie's would be perfect if it didn't attract such a large crowd and allow laptops/work. Turnover is so slow and although there are many seats, people don't leave. The drinks and pastries are pretty average. Since it's close the Chinatown, it's probably a better idea to grab your pastries there instead.

Yelp
I just had a yuzu lemonade when I came which I loved but what I really loved was the ambiance! They had so many plants everywhere. It was a plant lovers dream! They also have free WiFi so a lot of people like to work remotely from here so heads up it might be crowded but the service was very quick and I just can't get over how amazing the vibe was here!

Yelp
This cafe is located on the 2nd floor of a climbing gym. The aesthetic is beautiful with lots of plants and greenery. It was crowded on a Saturday late afternoon, lots of people studying or working here here but I was still able to get a seat fairly quickly. I only got a matcha latte, which was nothing to write home about. Staff was very kind and friendly though. Big downside is the wi-fi seems spotty. My friend and I both couldn't connect but I've noticed some other people being able to on their devices. Noise levels can vary depending on where you sit. If you're at the long communal table you might end up sitting next to chatty people.

Yelp
Super lovely and spacious space to work remote or study, good amount of outlets in the middle big table on the floor! The drinks are ok tho, not outstanding but decent.

Yelp
Had the Hong Kong milk tea and thought it was okay. My friend liked the bolo bao (pineapple bun). I also tried a sip of the yuzu matcha drink and yuzu lemonade which were okay to me too. The place is very busy because it is in the same building as Vital LES, the bouldering gym.

Jacob L.

Yelp
Beautiful new cafe upstairs of Vitals new climbing gym. Its open to the public so you dont need gym access to go. They have delicious HongKong milk tea and pastries like pineapple buns which was my favorite.
