Geo’s Cuban and Creole has been a wonderful spot to go to since I first went there at its old Shilshoe location. Now it’s got a nice cozy spot on Greenwood with a surprisingly big inside seating area (great for indoor dining when that returns) and awesome bar area.
Pictured below is my favorite Gumbo in Seattle. Coming in either a cup size or a bowl it is filled with awesome broth, chicken, andouille sausage, okra, onions and peppers. Unbelievably satisfying.
If you are around for lunch, I strongly recommended trying one of the sandwiches like a Cubano (huge) or Pan Con Bistec or Lechon. The sides too—an order of maduros or tostones.
Everything, and I mean everything, on the menu is good and sometimes the hardest thing is not ordering the entire menu.
Looking forward to going back very soon!
