Geosea - Geothermal Sea Baths

Had a great day in this thermal bath. Beautiful view with three pools with different temperatures. The bar offers a nice variety of drinks and the pay system with the bracelet is very uncomplicated. Would wish for showers with more privacy. Loved the amenities, such as shampoo etc.

A must visit in the area. Arrived with little awareness or knowledge of what was in store. The entrance is almost hidden in the ground by its sleek modern and environmentally conscientious design. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the locker rooms, showers, pool baths tidy and clean. The water is clear and warm, without the volcanic scents of other hot springs. It's bath is sea water warmed by the Geothermal heat resource. The swim-up bar had a nice selection; good for all ages and tastes. A fresh made smoothie was particularly delicious after a solid time of self-torturing in steam shower. The views are weather dependant, but when it's good, they're great! Left rejuvenated and ready for more adventures.

Loved these baths, low key vibe. The views were breath taking with the infinity pool effect. Easy to grab drinks. Several pools with different temperatures with the hottest one by the bar. Electronic wristband lockers to keep all your stuff safe. A must visit if you are Husavik!

Lovely spa with heated seawater. Water temperature could be warmer (we were there on a rainy and cold afternoon in September). Sauna room was small but nice and hot. We had reservations, and check-in was easy and smooth. Staff was helpful, and both changing room, shower and locker area were well liked and clean. There is one private changing room for people who need some privacy as well. Overall a lovely experience for our family.

We decided spontaneously to visit GeoSea in Húsavík, and we were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness right from the start. The experience was absolutely wonderful – the three different warm pools, each with its own temperature, were all very comfortable and relaxing. And of course, the view is simply unbeatable. We truly enjoyed our time there and had a beautiful, memorable day.

So clean and professionally managed by friendly staff. The pools vary somewhat in temperature, none really too hot, but on this cold day it was simply marvelous. Even a swim up bar with coffee and brews.

Big hot springs with naturally hot ocean water. There are four pools: one small one very cold, one at an average temperature, and two warmer ones (38-39 degrees I heard). A bit pricey, but very good experience. Good changing rooms, showers with shower gel-shampoo-conditioner available (and also body lotion), and sinks to wash swimsuits. There is an indoor area in case you do not want to pay for the pools and just sit down at the bar area. The bar is also accessible directly from the hot swimming pool. Quite a lot of people, but the pools are bog enough that it did not feel crowded. Amazing location out of the town and with view directly on the ocean. Recommended!

DREAM visit for us because we actually saw bottlenose whales from there jumping completely out of the water! We visited after the whale watching tour where we saw many big whales but this view from here was impressive and unforgettable. It made us happy and made the whole Iceland trip worth it. We wish you these emotions, too! Around lunchtime there weren’t many people, some baths were completely empty. Price is better then most places. Best baths in Iceland.
