This is a great shop! I’ve been here twice and will most likely end up a loyal customer. Last week I checked out this beast of a hoodie. While I was discussing jeans with a friend, I mentioned how one of the brands they carry don’t really fit me well. The owner, Langton overheard and took that as a challenge. Even though I had no intention of buying a pair he wanted to show me I could definitely fit into a pair. He wasn’t pushy at all and I was interested, so I took him up and tried them on. We got to talking about denim + Wonder Looper and you can tell he knows a lot and cares about the details. Like myself! I ended up buying that monster hoodie with no regrets. Today was an other great experience. Went with the intension of buying a WL T-shirt this time. I tried one on and it just didn’t feel like it fit properly. Too tight. I tried on other colours in my size and it was more of the same. Was bummed at that point. One of the associates mentioned they had 2 more in storage and that maybe there’s sample variation. They even got out a measuring tape and measured all of the shirts I tried on. One of the 2 they brought up had about an inch more room in the chest and that made a noticeable difference when it came to mobility in the arms. This was really cool! Instead of leaving empty-handed I got a great T-shirt because Josh & Alan gave a damn! This isn’t so normal in retail so I wanted to highlight how great everyone from this shop has been to deal with. So a big thank you goes to Langton, Josh, and Alan! I’ll see you guys when my Purple WL zip hoodie arrives and onwards!

I am a big fan of Gerhard Supply, nothing but positives to say about them. They have great stock, fair pricing, and excellent customer service! Langton has created a fantastic and comfortable space to find some of the best menswear in the city. No matter who has been working when I have come there they have always been super friendly, and I particularly appreciate that the staff never feel pushy at all. Even with what I am sure is a lot on his plate Langton is always responding to emails very quickly and always providing me with the best customer service. It really feels as though his staff are an extension of that. Super nice guys every time! I love their approach and focus on both high quality and Canadian made goods. Their in house brand In-Situ is fantastic, and extremely fairly priced for the quality. They have some really good denim too, they're easily my favorite stockist for Naked and Famous denim. They also have a great stock of Wonder Looper, which may just be some of the greatest heavyweight knitwear coming out of Japan. They also have a Toronto connection with the co-founder Bhazad originally coming from here. It really feels like he has made some perfect products for Toronto Winters. It may seem pricey but I would highly recommend checking it out in person where the quality and heft becomes much more apparent.

Nice store. It's getting more difficult to find quality made clothes/shoes etc. This store has alot of high quality pieces. My purchase was smooth and easy, the guys were professional, knowledgeable, with excellent customer service. Will return, highly recommend.

A lot of quality and mid to higher end clothes. Most of the clothes are made in Canada! and the staff are knowledgeable and totally transparent and helpful. Great jackets and I liked the selection in general. If it's your style, it's worth a visit.

This is my go-to shop for menswear. They have a wide range of clothes, shoes, and accessories, with an emphasis on high quality, Canadian-made products. Langton and his team are incredibly kind and helpful. Always happy to support this local business. Keep up the good work! -Ivan

Full disclosure: haven't received my special order yet but the service provided to now has been exemplary. (Thanks Langton) If only other boutique retailers cared this much about their service all online/remote shopping would be wonderful. While I was corresponding with Langton, I took note of Langton's descriptions of the pieces I was interested in: you could tell by his particularity his interest in the clothing was genuine and that he was passionate in the products he carried. All too often shopping in high-end menswear is characterized by first rate product and supremely (get it? SUPREMEly) second rate service--in this case I would say that the product will be hard pressed to exceed the care and quality of Gerhard's service. TL;DR: If Gerhard carries it, buy from them. If Gerhard doesn't carry it, try and buy from them anyway.
