Absolutely amazing! The Berlin Schnitzel is fantastic, the hollandaise sauce was so creamy and smooth. The potato pancakes are a must-try, either the regular or mini, both are crispy and well seasoned! We ate so much we waddled out of there. The staff are super nice and welcoming, food came out faster than expected. The atmosphere is very homey and cute. Honestly can't wait to come back here and try more things!

Google
Absolutely delicious. I have a picky eater but he loved the schnitzel with gypsy sauce. The potato croquets and the potato pancakes. Everything was on point. It's a small space inside but also has outdoor seating. If you go in the summer, be prepared to melt outside. They do have industrial fans to help keep you cool and LOTS of good COLD beer. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the bathroom was clean. They also accept reservations.

Was excited to find this authentic German restaurant. Great food, great beer! Our waitress Tiffany was excellent. This is real German food in a cute little place. Highly recommend.

Went in for lunch, tried a sampler of sausages the curry one was really good as well as the regular sausage. had a pork snitzel with chilli and hollandaise sauce. I think chilli alone would have been better. Good beer 🍺. Id go back again.

One of my all time favorite restaurants. Our server Tiffany was the best! She was super sweet and attentive. The food is always so flavorful and beautifully made. I could tell that they’ve updated the place since we’ve been by last and it looks so great!

Been driving by this place for years and happy we stopped. It was delicious and service was great!! Will be back to work our way through the menu! Came back on thirsty Thursday and they have $1 beers with the purchase of a meal!

Google
First time dinning at this establishment. Food was excellent, I had the Lemon Schnitzel with Bigos and Fries. For the amount of food, the prices were reasonable. Everything was delicious and so fresh. Our server for the evening was Mia. She made us feel right at home. When it came to the menu, she answered all the questions we had. When it came to service, she was very attentive, there was never an empty cup at our table. We also even had the pleasure of having the one of the cooks, Andrew, stop by our table to ask how we were. Definitely will be going back.

Yelp
Some time back, I had read an article in the Sacramento Bee, that Yelp had listed this place as one of the top six German restaurants in the country! Yet I had never come in. Well today, I was in Stockton, so I decided to stop in for lunch. The place is a few miles east of Stockton, on Highway 88. A little touch of Germany out amongst the farmland.... I come in, and was immediately greeted by Tiffany. Throughout my entire meal, she was very friendly and very helpful. I'm seated at my table, and since it was lunchtime, I got the lunch menu. It has to be pork schnitzel, of course! For my sauce, I was interested in the curry sauce. I know German curries can be very spicy, so I asked Tiffany, and she said no, it has just a tiny kick to it. So that's what I ordered. For my sides, I had the Spetzle, hunter style, with a mushroom sauce on top. For my other side, The bigos sounded interesting . I had never heard of it before. Warm sauerkraut, in a tomato sauce, with sausage and bacon. I'm sure the German beer is extremely good, but I retired from drinking sometime ago, so instead I just had a soda. The food comes quickly, and OMG, it was amazing! The schnitzel was absolutely delicious, it was not over breaded, and it was very tender. The curry sauce was amazing. It was not too rich, and it was perfect for the schnitzel. The tomatoes on top provided a wonderful pop of freshness. The. Spetzle, was perfectly done, and the mushroom sauce on top was so amazingly savory. And the. Bigos? As good. As everything else was, that was definitely the star of the show. The sauerkraut didn't overpower the sauce, and while the sauce was rich, the sauerkraut kept it from being too rich. The sauerkraut and the sauce played so absolutely wonderful together. That is a side I would have again, and again, and again. I finished the schnitzel and bigos, and some of my. Spetzle with the sauce, came home with me. It reheated extremely well.. For this amazing lunch with soda, it was only 20 bucks before tax and tip. An extremely reasonable price, for an absolutely amazing meal. I will absolutely definitely be back. Thank you so much

Yelp
When we heard about this place, we had to take a drive and test it out. Upon arrival, we were very happy because it seems like we were in a little Germany. We had schnitzel and spaetzle, and some sausage and sauerkraut for hors d'oeuvre. They also have some German beer on tap as well as other beers to enjoy in a bottle The food was very tasty quite authentic for being in the central valley of California. Next time you're driving through, you need to give it a try.

Yelp
Whaaaat? I have lived 45 mins from this place had NO idea this gem was so close! It opened in 2019 and has escaped my notice. I last had authentic German food way back in Germany in 1976, and was looking forward to it again when my wife and I take a river cruise there in 2027. That said, tonight I had the wonderful pleasure of experiencing the German Guys' way of doing business. The ambiance was an interesting mix of Bauhaus (where ladies carry massive mugs of beer) and Central Valley out in the country. Loved it! The service was fantastic, the meal was spot on (with the possible exception that my meatballs were room temp, I don't usually notice such things but there it is). Sauerkraut was delicious and the beets flavorful. I appreciated the availability of a cider (not a beer drinker) which was worth a repeat visit. I tossed them a bit of a curve with a request from my wife via text for some sausages. A fair price, a fair portion, and the transaction was smooth as I could ask for. To sum it up, great place, great people, WELL worth the drive east of Stockton.

Yelp
Incredible! A must try, if you're a foodie and enjoy an experience. Food, beer, atmosphere all get an A+++. The friendliest experience, made even better by our server Tiffany. She was attentive, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We had the sampler platter, which is the way to go if you've never been there. We enjoyed every single thing included. It had schnitzel, meatballs, curry sausage, bratwurst, potato pancakes, 2 sides and 2 sauces. Then there's the beer...oh goodness! You need to get a boot! The beer on tap was delicious and refreshing. We sat outside and had a great time. We can't wait to bring back our family and friends. Support small businesses and keep them going! They have inside seating and outside seating.
google avatar

Victoria B.

Yelp
Ambiance is great in their outdoor patio. They have floating canvas to provide shade & nice big tables. Service is great. Got the sampler for 4. The meatballs are delicious & tender. Schnitzel was crispy. Currywurst was good as was the other sausage. Love the hunter gravy & my friends liked the other gravy too. Got the bigos, potato salad, red cabbage & sauerkraut. Not fond of the potato salad but the other sides are good. My biggest complaint is that the potato pancakes were dense & room temperature, not hot & crispy. Next time I need to try the pretzel! This is a great place. Drop by & try them. You won't regret it!
google avatar

Veronica N.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the schnitzel was tender. If you love beets, you can't go wrong with the beet salad. The cucumber salad is definitely one of our favorites. Our server, Tonya, was amazing and had some great recommendations since we had never been there.

Yelp
A German place across from the Waterloo? Will never last is what I thought. Over 5 years later the place was still going so stopped by to see how. I was blown away by how good the food was and the beer, just amazing. Great service and an enjoyable eclectic mix of customers. Then came the imported Bavarian chocolate dessert. Kicking myself for not trying this sooner.

Yelp
I am German, so I go to German Guys! I am always skeptical when it comes to US-based restaurants claiming original German food. While our waitress did not speak German, she knew the menu well and the two pages of only Schnitzel dishes blew me away. The Jäger (Hunter) Schnitzel was indeed true to its roots. BRAVO!!! TOLLES ESSEN! VIELEN DANK!

Yelp
We are going to a cabin close to Arnold once or twice per year and are always looking for a good dinner experience on the way. This time we stopped in at German Guys on a Friday afternoon/early evening. We probably arrived at 5 pm to a very empty restaurant and when we left after our meal, it was packed! The food was good - and this is coming from a German ;-) Highest points for the Currywurst and the Pretzel. The Cordon Bleu was OKish, but not much flavor. Didn't know what to expect from the "Bigos". Had never heard of it. It was definitely interesting, but not something I would order again. I really liked the spacious outdoor setting, the friendliness of the staff (especially towards kids) and the beer. We will be back on our next trip to Arnold!

Eduardo E.

Yelp
Food was great and I love how the owner is involved with his customers and talks to you. I'll be coming back here again. And the fact that it's the only German restaurant in Stockton I give them even more credit.
google avatar

Lee B.

Yelp
Staff was there are friendly and helpful. The waitress explained the menu and the many options. The food came out hot and so very tasty! We sat inside (cooler) checked out the beer garden had really table and chairs w/cushions and the bathrooms , clean.

Michael G.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Always a good time to stop by German Guys for some food that reminds me of Granny's.

Yelp
Came here Friday night for our second time. Love this place...on a 30-45 min drive from Modesto. This time we sat outside. Love this place, great beer, amazing food, great service!

Becca F.

Yelp
First time here. Service was excellent! Every worker was extremely kind and super friendly. They made you feel so special and important. I had the Berlin Curry sausage with a side of cucumber salad and potato salad. The sausage was enormous! The taste was exactly what I hoped for. Nice crisp skin too. The curry was flavorful and not at all spicy. I would have like a little spice but that's okay. The potato salad was amazing as was the cucumber salad. My only disappointment was the appearance of the cucumber salad lol only because it didn't compare to the menu image. It didn't have the touch of green topping it. But that made no difference to the taste. I loved it. The rest of the family had schnitzels and they were delicious!! Especially that gypsy sauce oh my!

Catherine S.

Yelp
This cute, small, comfy food joint is a charm well worth the drive (40-minutes that is). I would make the trip again in a heartbeat. The chicken schnitzel with the mushroom sauce; one of THE BEST food items I've had at a restaurant probably ever. I would eat it daily if I could, it was that great. The smoked bratwurst was just as rave-worthy. The smoke came through well, casing gave a fantastic bite texture, spicing of the meat was balanced. Sides: amazing. Service: outstanding. I cannot rave enough about this place. Oh! Also have liter steins of true German beer (also a 2 liter option for those not driving). Needless to say, German Guys is well worth a trip and taste.

Yelp
Sunday March 23, 2025, Me and my husband family went here because they never had it before. We were greeted by our waiter Vanessa. She was very professional knowledgeable of what they serve there. The food was an 5/5 my mother in law said she never had anything good like this place mind you she travel all over the world and she loves this place. We found out the owner (Mom) was there cooking all of our food. I would recommend this place if you never try it you should try it it's very good we will be coming back to try different dishes. Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Recommendations: 5/5

Amy R.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Service was amazing! Our friends have raved about the place for so long that we finally planned a day to go with them. We ordered several appetizers! Curry meatballs were our favorite! Cold sauerkraut was so good! Sausage plate our daughter loved! Gypsy sauce with the schnitzel fingers was amazing. So much food for such a great price! Loved the Thursday special with dollar beers! Outdoor seating was amazing and shaded us from the sun. Definitely will make a trip back!

Nichole ..

Yelp
Love coming here, the food and service are always so great. Katie was extra helpful on the most recent visit. My go to is the lemon schnitzel
google avatar

Alana D.

Yelp
First time trying German food & was not disappointed!! Definitely will be coming back flavor & presentation was lovely even the waitress Vanessa was a delight. She informed us that Wednesday's are the specials for schnitzel for $15 with two sides, Thursday are $1 beers & Friday is fish special. Very family oriented with the option of dining inside or outside.

Yelp
Had a fantastic dinner experience here. Delicious German beer and authentic food . Loved the schnitzel, the meatballs, the sausages, sauerkraut, bread, and pretzels. Try it all if you can!

Yelp
OMG!!! This place is AMAZING. This restaurant is decorated really cool. We were able to get outside seating in the patio. The music that's playing in the background is German top 40 stuff. The wait staff very attentive and knowledgeable. The connection Vanessa, our server, made with us, truly came from her heart. I can tell she really loves her job. Making us feel welcomed. She asked if this was our first time. And of course it was. She went on to explain a brief history of how the restaurant came about. How mostly everything on the menu is made in house. The sausages, the meatloaf, the meatballs, the schnitzel. Along with the desserts. And the sides that come with it. And the few things that are not made in house, they have it imported from Europe. The owner comes in every morning and prepares everything. I had a coffee. Best coffee ever! My husband had a Korbinian beer. And it was served in a boot. I had the meatball half-and-half, and my husband had the schnitzel curry. Both dishes were incredibly delicious! Cucumber salad, so refreshing, so delicious! Their croquettes and spaetzle also delicious! Hubby and I shared the Black Forest cake. Very delicious.

Yelp
I'm so impressed with my first time here. My meal was delicious! Schnitzel Hunter with mushroom sauce so tender and oralgasmic. Service was fast and friendly. Katie was awesome as our server. Very German atmosphere here. Excellent list of German beers are available. I now have a new go to place!

Yelp
Oh My!! Never had German food and . I ordered the special of the day, Rahm Sauce Chicken Schnitzel and I have never in my life tasted a sauce so good. Buttery and rich with an earthiness to it. A solid 10/10 for that dish alone. The spetzle, potatoes crochetes and my husband's Hunter's Pork Schnitzel were all delicious too. The service was great. Our server was a first time server (promoted up) and just a sweetheart. She answered all the questions and helped us pick what the kids would like from their vast menu. We will be back for sure and I suggest you make this the spot for your next dinner date. You won't be disappointed. (Husband had sour kraut but I don't care for it and didn't try it. He said it was good)
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing service. Huge menu and cozy inside. Try this place out you will not be disappointed. Good beer selection as well

Yelp
What a treat. Visited this establishment today with 2 of our good friends. None of us had been here before but we all wanted to try this place. It did not disappoint. Great place to have a few beers, hang out with friends and enjoy good food. It started with our server, very friendly and helpful. She explained the menu and made some recommendations and knew the beer selection well. We decided to try the German Sampler for four and glad that we did since that was a great way to try several different types of their wonderful food. We started with Beers of course and one of their pretzels - yummy. Then our Sampler Plate arrived (it included a choice of 4 sides). We selected their Beet Salad, Potato Salad, Potato Croquettes and Spatzle. The Sampler plate had 4 Potato Pancakes, 2 Schnitzel's, 2 Meatballs (cut up), 2 Smoked Brats and 2 Berlin Curry Wurtz and with their Hunter Sauce and Gypsy Sauce on the side. Great flavors and plenty of food. Good place to visit and as Arnold says " I'll be back" - you should visit if you are in the area and are thirsty and hungry!!

Yelp
First time trying German food and we had a great experience! The staff was super friendly and helped us navigate the menu, and even gave us some solid recommendations. We brought our baby girl with us and they were really sweet with her, which we appreciated. The outdoor area was cute and relaxing. Food was flavorful and delicious, and the beer selection was awesome, they served in a boot!! Definitely coming back with a couple of friends!
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Loved the half and half schnitzel. And the choice of beers. I could live here. The staff is fantastic and I just can't wait to come back. Brings my German heritage out of me.

Yelp
I always see this place on my way to another restaurant nearby for years and always wanted to come. Anywho, just the few things I got to taste were amazing. We had the chicken cordon bleu with Gypsy sauce, potato croquettes, and spatzle. The other plate had sauerkraut, potato salad, and a pork schnitzel with Gouda cheese and Hunter sauce. Let me just say wow! All the food was delicious! We were very pleased from the service and food. Just all around a great experience and we will be back probably next week to try more things. I do wish I drank beer since they have quite a variety though. Their prices are also very reasonable and Wednesday is 15 dollars for a chicken or pork schnitzel which you can choose from a variety of sauces and 2 sides. They also have a nice patio area and it was such a nice day.... Cant wait to be back.
google avatar

Andrew K.

Yelp
Just WOW! The waitresses are very friendly. Beer selection was all German, many of them I've not heard of, yum. The food was great, pretty good selection of local dishes. We all loved the different dishes and sides. Have gone back twice and brought different family to try.

Moose C.

Yelp
Overall pretty good! Beers are pleasant and items like salad are great. Cordon Bleu is shockingly small and definitely not similar to image in the menu but still okay. I would order the schnitzel or meatballs for more food quantity. Service was excellent, maybe just replace some menu items. Safe to say nobody is coming back for the chicken cordon bleu and pretzel is quite small.
google avatar

Yelp
I've lived in Lodi for 4 years and am 3 years and 364 days late for trying this place! It's off the beaten path but right on Highway 88 and doesn't look like much on the outside. DON'T BE DECEIVED, the food is phenomenal, the service matches the food and the beer list matches the service. If I lost you already, plain and simple if you're still reading this you're late for dinner. The schnitzel has a light breading, the meatballs with hunter gravy were phenomenal and the croquettes with house sauce (red bell pepper sauce) complimented everything. We can't wait to come back. By the way we're keeping this place a secret from our kids so we don't have to share, you better not share this review with them

Marcel B.

Yelp
One word: ausgezeichnet! I'm so sorry we've driven past this excellent, authentic and tasty german restaurant in Waterloo: we won't make that mistake again. My curry-wurst and my wife's pair of schnitzel's were as good as anything we've had in Bavaria (without passports, a long jet flight and customs). The bier menu has everything you'd expect from a great german beer garden. The staff is friendly and energetic, and the German pop soundtrack make you feel that your Chevy on California 88 is now an Opel on a side road outside of Munich.

Yelp
We were just there last night & our favorite server was waiting on us ! Katie is simply amazing & delightful & very attentive. Erica is bubbly & fun server. Katie F. remembers us from a visit from 2 months ago . It is our favorite restaurant to go to when we're visiting the wineries in Plymouth. The food is authentic & delicious we have so many favorites but if you want some nibbles for a party of 4 , I would try the plate sampler, a variety of different schnitzel, sausages, meatballs & potatoes & 2 sides . This place is quite affordable & you can get a stein of beer that's simply a workout lifting the stein alone ! LOL! The desserts are decadent & food & service is fabulous ! We've been at this restaurant twice when it's been busy & I will tell you the team that we saw last night handle it w/ precision, they don't have panic when it's crazy they just keep going like it's no sweat we got this ! They did !!! The German Guys is a very clean restaurant, we love the beer garden & ambiance is very chill & relaxing in the sun & enjoying a big stein of beer!

Dan D.

Yelp
EXCELLENT! Food was flavorful with generois portions. The big beer steins are very heavy and keep the beer cold. I definitely will return, especially after forgetting my wallet on the table. Returned and restaurant had saved my wallet in the register. Honest food with honest prices and honest employees! 5 stars earned!

Yelp
My friends and I have been wanting to try German Guys since they first opened. My husband and I are big fans of German food so anytime we can find some locally it's a real treat. We stopped in as a party of three at about 2:30pm on a Saturday and there was a steady stream of customers, but it wasn't super crowded. We sat at a table outside and we had two people who took our orders and checked on us throughout the meal. The way they have their meals set up you can choose your protein with different sauces they offer along with two sides that come with the meal price. Depending on which topping/sauce option you choose the price changes a bit. During our visit we tried the Schnitzel fingers ($10), Potato pancakes (four pancakes $9), German pretzel ($7), and the Farmers Leberkase (Bavarian Meatloaf) with potato croquettes and spatzle as the sides ($20). -The pretzel was cooked perfectly and was hot but still really fluffy inside, it paired great with the mustard. -The Schnitzel fingers ended up being a piece of schnitzel cut into slices and served with their hunter (mushroom gravy) and gypsy sauce (a tomato based creamy sauce). -The potato pancakes were medium sized and they said they make them fresh everyday -The farmers leberkase was cooked so it was crispy on the outside and super flavorful inside, the eggs that came on it had a tasty, runny yolk and the onions paired great with each bite. The potato croquettes that came with it were really unique, but could have used a sauce or extra seasoning. The spatzle also was really different than what I'm used to, it was longer and thinner than what I'm accustomed to. Overall this is a great addition to the German food scene locally.

Yelp
I saw they had a food tent at the Walnut Creek Oktoberfest, and I was super intrigued. I asked an employee what was the difference between the currywurst and bratwurst, and the employee was really nice and patient in explaining that the currywurst was more of a snack dish whereas the bratwurst was a whole meal. I settled on the currywurst since I had a couple of drinks and I wasn't feeling too hungry. The dish came with a spear pickle, which was nice to have. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking, but I can't complain. It was a solid pick-me-up after drinking, and other than German potato salad and schnitzel, I can't say I have a lot of experience with German food, so it was a good experience overall. Shout out to the staff for being able to explain and ring me up with all the noise from other attendees, events, and vendors. I'm not sure I'd drive all the way to Stockton for this, so hopefully I'll see them at more Oktoberfest and other German themed events in the future.

Das authentischste deutsche Essen in der Gegend bisher! So gut. Ich werde immer wieder kommen!

Yelp
I didn't know this restaurant existed until today!!! We jumped in the car and hit the road immediately. The entire atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Our waitress (Erica) made sure we understood the menu and went out of her way to double check on ingredients due to my husbands allergies. The owner even came out and doubled checked on our ingredient concerns. We were not disappointed one bit!!! My favorite were the meatballs !!! I don't usually like meatballs but these were perfect. Everything was flavorful, traditional and presented At perfect temperature and presentation. The cucumber salad reminded me of my German Grandmothers salad ( she owed a delicatessen in Chicago area) .....absolutely authentic I we came early before the crowd. Exact perfection food, service and atmosphere Worth the drive We will definitely become Frequent customers Chefs kisss !!!

Cynthia E.

Yelp
Tiffany is a wonderful addition to your restaurant. She gave us such great service and was warm and friendly.

Yelp
Parentals and Grandma day out brought us here. My parents have been here on a few occasions, so this was new for me and my boys. Everyone tried something different to see what everything tasted like. Tho you can't go wrong with Cordon bleu , everything was over all good but some things lacked seasoning. Beet salad was, well beets. A tad also on the bland side. As for the potato croquettes. The concept of fried potatoes is doable but they didn't have any salt or seasoning inside. The one thing that made it worth it was the Radler, Stiegel Raspberry! I think maybe if I had started with this the food was just an extra. I'm not a fan of beer but this was really tasty.

Yelp
5/5 - A Hidden Gem Worth the Stop! My wife, kids, and I drove by German Guys on our way to Apple Hill, and on the way back, we decided to stop in for dinner. We couldn't have been happier with the choice. The food was absolutely delicious! We all ordered schnitzels--my wife had hers with the rahmsauce, I had the hunter sauce, and our daughters went for the plain schnitzels. Every single plate was exquisite. The schnitzels were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The inside of the restaurant is charming, with a cozy, authentic vibe that makes you feel right at home. Best part? The prices are super reasonable--around $20 per plate for generous portions. Everyone should give this place a try. It's a true hidden gem and a must-visit if you're in the area

Yelp
Love this restaurant. The saurkraut is light & acidic just like in Southern Germany where my family is from. We were shocked to find this restaurant in Waterloo(where are we!?). Worth the 40 minute drive for us as it's a fun atmosphere with a homey-vibe. I always get the schnitzel with a side of one of their sauces. Bearnaise or Hunter are normally what I end up doing. Been here many times & will be back many more. We get the Berlin Currywurst every time. A mild ketchup/curry like spice on sausages which are fantastic. The service is normally good but it can be really busy at times. Whenever I'm missing Germany, I come here for some sausage, beer & schnitzel! Comfort food with bright, refreshing sides to reset the pallet. Always finish with an apple strudel or beesting cake. This is in my rotation of local restaurants. Will be back!

Tonya K.

Yelp
Tanja was an amazing server! She made our night. We had such fun talking with her. She gave us tips on what to get. She was friendly and service was quick. She spoke German and that made it extra fun! When I go back I would want her again!

Yelp
It's been almost a year since we've eaten here and as always it's Wunderbar! You can't go wrong here! Food und the staff are great

Yelp
Went with my family and we were greeted super well by the owners and staff. The food was delicious and the beer was even better. We were able to sit outside which made the experience even more memorable. I definitely recommend.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazingly! The fast service & hospitality was nothing short of spectacular. My waiter Vanessa was very welcoming and helpful in helping me choose the right dish as I've never even tried German food until I visited this place. I ordered a fish schnitzel that came w/ a side of potato croquettes honestly tasted out of this world along w/ a 2 liter tasty German beer boot to wash it down. Highly recommend coming here as I look forward to returning and trying out other dishes!!! Thank you German Guys!!!!

Ann L.

Yelp
We got food to go yesterday afternoon. When you order an entree you get your choice of 2 sides. My husband got lemon schnitzel with spatzel and red cabbage. The schnitzel was the perfect thickness with crispy and tasty breading. The spatzel had a yummy mushroom gravy. I got the bockwurst with potato salad and Bavarian Sauerkraut (warm with mushrooms). The potato salad was made with peas and lots of pickles which I like. We also got potato pancakes that came with either applesauce or cucumber salad as a dip. We chose 8 pancakes so they included both dips. Cucumber salad was a new one for us. We liked it. The cucumber salad complements the potato pancake. We noticed that they have a great German beer selection, too. The owners and staff were warm and welcoming. We traveled from the Bay Area. Their wonderful food was worth the trip. Another visit to our favorite German restaurant! Today, we opted to sit outside as we had our dog, Jack, with us. It was SO cold outside! Our server was very attentive and started the heaters up for us, which made a big difference! We start with the soup special, a delicious mushroom soup. With it, we ordered extra German bread. Yummm! We also added to the warm up by getting a hot gluhwein that we shared. For our main meal, my wife ordered chicken gypsy Schnitzel with Bavarian sauerkraut and German potato salad I ordered the XXL Pork Gypsy Schnitzel with Fries and red cabbage.
