Google
This is such a cute and vibey coffee spot! They have so many drink options, and great food choices. Try the Philly muffin if you have the option. The chai latte was also great. They have tables and seating and are working on an upstairs with a “living room vibe” seating area as well. Definitely stop in here if you have the opportunity to!!!

I truly loved finding out today that this place re-opened, even though I was not familiar with the original location. I chatted with the co-owner and am so thrilled at their passion for community-oriented presence and the “many hands” (as explained to me verbatim and a reference to their coffee brand) it takes to succeed in business and be dedicated to your locality and social good. I applaud that. The cortado I had was excellent. The downstairs space is limited , but they will open upstairs space as well. I am excited to return again.

Google
Super excited the new location is open! Coffee is excellent, and the cinnamon bun croissant that I tried was also delicious. Saw some GF food options and there are non-dairy milks, etc. The atmosphere is very nice (chill music; cool art), and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The space isn't huge, so it would not be the best gathering space for a large group (there is one common table for up to 6). That said, there's a good amount of seating for individuals and pairs. Convenient location right on Germantown Ave (ample street parking).

My husband and I popped in for a coffee on the way to run some errands. It's a sweet little space, warm and inviting. The coffee was yummy and made quite well. I had a delicious granola bar!

Google
The atmosphere and people are friendly and helpful if you need it. I don’t if it’s the oatmilk or the roast flavor but when I get coffee it taste so bitter and slightly sour. Not expired sour but it’s a weird kind of after taste. That’s the only problem I’ve had. Other than that, it’s a great spot.

Google
It’s an adorable little place that’s bright and sunny. The staff is so sweet and kind with great recommendations and clearly both passionate about the work that they do and working with members of the community who also have shops in the area. Highly recommend!

Google
Breakfast pizza and Americano was great!

Google
I’m loving the new location! Cozy and chill, staff are kind and friendly, and of course delicious coffee and snacks. I can’t wait for their upstairs area to open!

Yelp
Great little coffee shop! I love their iced chai (which is really the bar that I base my recommendation for all coffee shops on!). Everyone that works there is so friendly and even though I consider myself to be kind of shy, I love to chat with them. My partner loved the breakfast flatbread. And I've enjoyed their baked goods which I believe are through the bakery "Crust". I like the philly muffin thing (it's like an English muffin and a bagel had a baby) but IMO it doesn't hit the spot the way a bagel would. If I could get a toasted sesame bagel with my chai in the morning, that would be the dream!! Overall, I highly recommend going to this coffee shop :)

Yelp
This place is outstanding! we were visiting the area and came here both mornings. The house drip was perfect and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. I would go every day if I lived nearby

Yelp
The Coffee is good though their Seating was awful narrow hard bench and small bolted tables

Yelp
This cozy little espresso bar is tucked in a little strip at the Maplewood Mall is my go-to coffee stop when I'm in the area! When you first walk in you can see the hip city baristas who enjoy the craft of coffee and company. That being said I always feel welcome and usually head upstairs to their seating area where I can get work done, admire the local artist work on the walls, and unplug for a while. It's usually quiet during the day, but turns into a concert scene at night, as the shop features local music artists for open mic nights!

Yelp
Egg and cheese sandwiches are not for sale anymore (all are pre made with meat). Instead I got a butter bagel. It had the merest idea of butter on it which would've been fine, actually, but the bagel was thick and dense and so very dry. The cream cheese was heaped on my friends bagel but the butter bagel was very sad.

Yelp
Mad cute. Very small but there's usually maybe one or two customers when I go in there. Perfect location (hidden from the Main Street) they have great coffee options, tea options and many flavors. The staff is super nice and chill, great music always playing. What more could one ask for?

Yelp
Nice space with beautiful art, good treats, and a friendly staff. I got the maple munch sandwich and everything was prepared very well. So glad we found it. I hope they stay consistent.

Yelp
Delicious, well-priced coffee with a hip vibe. Music is not too loud and its the perfect environment for getting some work done on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Yelp
ordered bagel breakfast sandwich w/ hash browns and chocolate croissant, sandwhich was filling, both were delicious. I would do it again

Ashley R.

Yelp
Dude..... I waited a literal ~47~ minutes for a breakfast sandwich the other day and couldn't stop thinking about this. No apologies. No explanation. Nothing.. I'm just confused. Not even upset... just like... why ?

Yelp
I thank these guys (and gals) EVERY TIME I come in for being in our hood and for the attention and care they give to their amazing coffee!!!! This is an incredible addition to Germantown. Coffee is consistently AMAZING and served humbly and graciously by the folks who own/work here. The space is great and I love that I can walk my dog here, bring her in for a treat and enjoy an incredible cup of coffee - hot or iced. The hours are fantastic. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE this place !

Yelp
Excellent espresso and pastries! Jeff and Miles are the coolest guys in Philadelphia, without a doubt. Their prices are very fair with great seating options -- outdoors or inside. So glad that they're serving the community in this way!

Yelp
Unusually white for the neighborhood, but the staff was kind and the parking (a free municipal lot in Philly? I felt like a tourist when I asked the baristas if I could park there for free!) are boons. It was quiet, even if the music (which was delightful) was a bit too loud. Coffee was fine, if not indistinct. Will be back.

Yelp
I've stopped by a handful of times in the last month, and the staff is friendly, and the coffee is good and reasonably priced. They stock baked goods from Crust vegan bakery, which are delicious, and the house made sandwich I tried this weekend was great. They have a shelf with a few art prints, homemade soaps, jewelery, etc. from local makers for sale, which is a nice touch. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me!

Yelp
Excellent casual atmosphere very personal. Amazing coffee. Could use a little organizational tidying from someone in the not so hipster generation but that might detract from the gist.

Yelp
Awesome small coffee shop on Germantown, we love coming here. Staff and owners are friendly and laid back and everyone in the place is always super chill. Great addition to the community. The Malala breakfast sandwich is so good!

Yelp
I went here last night for the open mic in "The Listening Room" first of all, just their basic house coffee is incredible and didn't need much added in to make it perfect to my liking. The turkey sausage egg and cheese was extraordinary. The staff was friendly and attentive. Once everyone started coming in for the open mic you could just feel it's a real neighborhood place, people of all ages and backgrounds were there joking around and sharing ideas. It's very cozy and feels just like an all around warm and inviting place.

Yelp
i've been here many times for coffee and always have had a great experience. the coffee is always fresh , and the environment is warm & friendly. there's currently window service which is really convenient. today i tried the food for the first time, and got the prosciutto egg sandwich with vegan cheese. i haven't had a breakfast sandwich this good in so long! they also have environmentally friendly straws, and always have details about goings-on in the area and local artists. an awesome go-to in the neighborhood.

Yelp
I live near this coffee shop, and love grabbing a leisurely coffee and pastry on weekend mornings. I was thrilled when this place opened last summer. I've become a regular there, and always feel at home. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgable about the history of the area, kind to everyone that comes in the door, and make an effort to know all of their customers by name. The food is great, with the Sun Ra sandwich being my new favorite, and Morgan making a fantastic iced mocha. One of my favorite things about this coffee shop is their "pay it forward" jar. Some customers choose to leave their frequent coffee buyer cards here when they're full instead of redeeming them. This way, a member of the community can get a free coffee when needed.

Yelp
Awesome coffee shop! It's a beautiful space with friendly staff and great customer service. I liked everything I ordered there. The latte, croissant, and tea were all delicious. This is definitely a place I plan to attend frequently. It's a brand new place, but I envision much success in their future.

Yelp
Excellent Barista- custom made my Dirty Chai. Gracious and hospitable owner. Coffee house ambience with art work and vinyl albums. Great experience

Yelp
They have great chai tea lattes. I would definitely recommend, and they're not very expensive.

Yelp
Glad we found this place! Super chill and relaxing atmosphere, affordable yet delicious coffee, and open mic nights! The quintessential neighborhood coffee spot.

Yelp
Best coffee I have had in a long time. Makes me want to delete my Starbucks app. Great atmosphere- pleasantly crowded with enough seating. And the pastries and breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. I'll be back.

Yelp
A super peaceful environment with a friendly, handsome staff and delicious environment. Have yet to try the munchies but they looked amazing. 10/10 would do.

Yelp
Great people and awesome service. My boyfriend and I frequent this place now that he lives in Germantown. They are open to tweaking drinks just the way you like, and they are a fixture in the community. They let artists and other locals sell wares and advertise out of their shop, and host cool events. Food and coffee are delicious!!

Habib F.

Yelp
This place is good. It's got a very Portlandia, organic IPA, flannel vibe that I don't really connect with, but the people seem nice enough and the coffee is tasty. I kind of feel like this place and Uncle Bobbie's made a pact to serve different demographics so that might be why I and some of the other reviewers don't feel particularly at home here. Still, I like this business overall.

Yelp
I absolutely recommend this coffee shop. The service in kind and fast and the coffee is amazing. Their baked goods are amazing, as well.

Rhonda W.

Yelp
While on a visit to Philly, this place came up as the closest spot to get coffee. The coffee gods must have been really feelin me to put me in a spot so close to this place. I got a cafe au lait which was yummy, but let's talk about what I liked even better. Dude that runs the place knows everyone that comes in. He knows what's going on in their lives, he knows them by name and when he meets new people, he repeats their names a few times so he can remember. The regulars know each other and speak to each other! Some older dude was talking to some young skater kid about life. Everyone was really friendly to us. So we went back the next day and brought out friends. The main dude there remembered us and that we were meeting friends in Philly and asked how the evening went. This guy legitimately cares for his community and you can tell. And the baked goods are to die for!

Yelp
Awesome coffee, hot chocolate, & pastries (from High Point) and sandwiches (from Le Bus). Amazing staff/owners/service and ambiance, so excited to have this new spot in Germantown!

Marissa C.

Yelp
A little tricky to find (I walked right past it!) and not in the best neighborhood, but excellent coffee. I had a Nutella Mocha which was very delicious.

Jill K.

Yelp
Great community coffee house. It's been open a couple months and the locals are catching on that this is a great place to hang out, catch up, read, study, and be known as a regular by your preferred drink. The vibe is very welcoming and Miles and Jeff (co-owners) radiate love and positivity in addition to slinging awesome beverages. They serve Quaker City coffee (which I love because they focus on job creation for the formerly incarcerated) and Reanimator. They also have tea and hot cocoa. Sandwiches are from LeBus and sweet treats hail from High Point. Thursday evenings are open mic-I haven't been yet, but word on the street is they are an awesome way to spend the evening. Seating inside and out. Plenty of books to read and good ambient vinyl picked by people who know how to pair music and espresso.
